Despite her burgeoning career as a musician, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's 13-year-old daughter has quite the normal career path in mind.
"I still wanna work. I wanna work at, like, Starbucks next year," North shared with Dazed in an interview published Aug. 24. "I think I can next year 'cause I'm gonna be 14, so… I think I can."
And as the teen explained, her reason for wanting to work at Starbucks was actually quite simple: "I want to have a regular job."

Julian Tackett, commissioner of the Kentucky High School Athletic **** ociation since 2010, announced Monday he will retire later this school year.
Tackett did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment but released a statement through the KHSAA. The exact date of his retirement was not released.
"My career has been blessed with trials, tribulations, challenges and accomplishments, all the while staying focused on helping keep kids involved in this great field of school-based athletics," Tackett said. "I will leave with nothing but gratitude for the dozens of co-workers, hundreds of event workers, thousands of officials, school administrators and coaches, and literally millions of participants who have allowed me to have a small part in their high school experience.
"There will be time for more reflection and expression … but I plan to continue working as hard as I can for this **** ociation and its efforts until the next stop along my way comes into focus."
Tackett joined the KHSAA in 1984 as sports information director and served in that position until 1991. The Colorado Buffaloes were dealt a major blow Monday when a Boulder county court denied defensive tackle Ezra Christensen's motion for a preliminary injunction, which would have granted him eligibility for the 2026 season.
Christensen's legal battle was a drawn-out process that included multiple waivers and ultimately a failed injunction. According to the denial's legal documents, Christensen's case did not meet all of the six factors the court used in deciding on the injunction.
Christensen's attorney, Darren Heitner, posted on social media confirming the denial and that his team is looking into filing an emergency motion for reconsideration. Even if that step is taken, there is no guarantee that his original motion will pass.

San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested in Ohio over the weekend for trying to pay a prostitute a little over $100, according to police.
York, a 46-year-old married executive, was taken into custody Sunday at a trailer park in East Palestine and was initially charged with engaging in prostitution, but prosecutors amended the charge to disorderly conduct. The NFL owner is originally from Youngstown, Ohio, about a 30-minute drive from where he was arrested.
He ended up pleading no contest to misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools.
York's arrest came after he answered an ad on a known prostitution website in Columbiana County and "arranged to have ******* ual activity with the female in exchange for $140.00," the California Post reported, citing court documents.
He then went to the trailer park to meet up with the woman, and an agent from the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force found York had his cellphone on him "which was used to arrange the criminal act," according to the documents.

A woman on TikTok, roopzthereitis, explains that her parents had no questions regarding the white woman whom her brother married. She claims that it is yet another example of the double standard that exists in her family concerning racial issues.
This is one of the videos in a series where she, who claims to be of Indian origin, discusses how her family disapproves of her relations with a Black man.
"If I were to bring home a white man, my parents would roll out the red carpet for him. So my brother actually brought home a white woman to introduce to my parents. And they accepted her immediately. They actually didn't even ask her any questions, like what her profession was, where she worked, how much money she made. Because her being white automatically just checked off all the boxes for them," she explains.

Announced by the program Monday, former Alabama Crimson Tide transfer Dylan Lonergan has been named as the starting quarterback for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
Lonergan, who transferred to Rutgers this past offseason following a season at Boston College, beat out AJ Surace to win the job.
The former Alabama quarterback was originally a member of the Crimson Tide's 2023 recruiting class, and went on to play two seasons in Tuscaloosa as a backup. Lonergan saw action in only three games from 2023-24, completing 7-of-8 passes for 35 yards, along with rushing for 21 yards on two attempts.
Following the 2024 campaign, Lonergan entered the NCAA transfer portal where he eventually committed to Boston College. Lonergan ended up enjoying a breakout season a year ago at Boston College, completing 66.9% of passes for 2,025 yards and a 12:5 TD:INT ratio across 10 games prior to entering the transfer portal at seasons end for the second time.

Updating a previous report, Las Vegas Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty (ankle) is believed to have suffered a sprained ankle, and while he will miss time, it is not considered a long-term injury, according to sources.
