Motherwell have signed midfielder Alex Lowry on a season-long loan from Wycombe Wanderers.
The 23-year-old former Rangers player scored three goals in 24 appearances for the English League One club last season but last featured on Boxing Day 2025.
"We see this as a great opportunity for Alex and the club," Motherwell manager Alfred Johansson told club media.
"He is a technically gifted footballer who enjoys being on the ball and being creative.
"His knowledge of Scottish football and experience here could prove vital over the next 12 months.

This time last year the young and talented Motherwell youngster Lennon Miller was a reported Celtic target, only for the highly regarded midfielder to go and crush any hopes the Celtic supporters had of seeing him in the hoops when he signed for Serie A side Udinese in a £4.5 million plus deal.
Miller who just missed out on a place in the Scotland World Cup squad has impressed at the Italian side, making 26 appearances, and scoring one goal in all competitions in his debut campaign.
In my opinion, he's a player Celtic should still be interested in, as we look to bolster our midfield, an area which will be ever so weaker come the start of the new Scottish Premiership campaign, due to the impending departures of Arne Engels, and Reo Hatate.

GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) — The Scottish Football ***** ociation has handed new Rangers manager Derek McInnes a four-match ban for his critical comments about a disputed penalty that benefited Celtic in last season's ***** le race.
Then-Hearts coach McInnes had called the stoppage-time penalty decision “actually quite disgusting" after Celtic beat Motherwell 3-2 in the penultimate game to put it on course for its record 56th Scottish league ***** le.
On Wednesday, the Scottish FA issued the four-match touchline ban with one suspended until the end of the 2026-27 season.
Rangers responded by saying it would appeal the ruling.
“We do not believe Derek’s view on a match-defining decision amounted to an attack on the competence or integrity of match officials,” the Glasgow club said in a statement. “His comments were directed at the decision, rather than representing any broader criticism of officials. Considered fairly and in context, Derek’s comments did not allege bias, incompetence or dishonesty.

St Mirren have bought former Celtic trainee Eseosa Sule from West Bromwich Albion for an undisclosed fee.
The Glasgow-born 20-year-old forward, who also spent a short time on loan to Motherwell, has signed a three-year contract with the Scottish Premiership club.

The Essex-born shot-stopper broke two club records in helping Motherwell finish fourth last season by keeping 20 clean sheets during the campaign, including a run of nine in a row.

If we rewind 36 years to 16 June 1990 and the Italian city of Genoa, Stuart McCall was busy scoring to help Scotland secure a 2-1 win over Sweden.
The former midfielder jokes that he "was always deadly from a yard out" and ultimately that victory wasn't enough to ensure Scotland progressed to the knock-out stage, but up until this weekend, it was their last win at a World Cup finals.
Now the 62 year-old is ******* istant to Paul Heckingbottom at Preston North End, but he's also enjoying absorbing all the action from the United States, Canada and Mexico.
As a former Motherwell manager, he's been glad to see the Steelmen's Elijah Just scoring a brace for New Zealand in their 2-2 draw with Iran, but chiefly he's delighted that Scotland now have a more up-to-date World Cup win to look back on, albeit a nervy 1-0 triumph over Haiti.
