On Friday, SC Freiburg found out which teams they will face in the league phase of the Europa Conference League this season. Julian Schuster's side booked their place in today's draw after beating Motherwell FC 7-2 on aggregate.
Last season's Europa League finalists were in Pot 1. Unlike the Champions League and Europa League, there were six pots with only six league phase matchdays in the Conference League.
Freiburg's home games will be against Panathinaikos, Twente and Czechia side Jablonec. They will face AS Monaco, Mohamed Salah's Trabzonspor and Lithuanian side Kauno Žalgiris away from home.
