Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard is expected to leave and join his former team, the Toronto Raptors, once a previously agreed trade goes through.
Leonard was hit with a $700,000 fine for his role in the Clippers' cap-circumvention deal, while the LA franchise got a massive penalty, including a loss of picks and suspensions for the Clippers' higher-ups.
Now that the NBA has ruled on Leonard and the Clippers, both parties can move forward with the trade the Clippers and Raptors agreed to.

The Los Angeles Dodgers dropped all three games of the recent series against the Atlanta Braves, defeats that were significantly caused by a lack of offense from the Boys in Blue.
Thursday night's game was especially frustrating, given that the Dodgers were 0-for-3 with runners in scoring position.
While the other games had more Dodgers hits, including going 3-for-12 with RISP on Tuesday and 4-for-14 on Wednesday, fans will remember those one-loss games for missed opportunities.

Matthew Stafford and the Rams are gearing up for the 2026 season. His wife, Kelly, is once again making headlines of her own.
The former University of Georgia cheerleader has built a reputation for going viral, whether through social media comments or her now-ended podcast, 'The Morning After'. This time around, however, the attention centers on how she celebrated at her kid's birthday party.
Kelly and friends broke out the Jell-O shots at her 8-year-old daughter's birthday party over the weekend, which drew a lot of criticism.

Instead of resting, the team's newest star, Kyle Tucker, hosted the inaugural charity event for his foundation in his new city.
Tucker and the Dodgers had just swept the Colorado Rockies, and the offense was starting to tick again.
The Dodgers then had a three-game homestand against the Pittsburgh Pirates, giving the players a chance to get back home and unwind.

Jayne Mansfield's famous "Pink Palace" home in Los Angeles brimmed with rose-colored ***** carpet, cherubs, and hearts.
The actress purchased the mansion for $76,000 and lived there for 10 years before she died in 1967 at 34.
While the Pink Palace has since been demolished, Mansfield's daughter Mariska Hargitay has several heirlooms from the home.
Before Greta Gerwig's Barbie had the world obsessing over all things pink, Jayne Mansfield owned a dream house drenched in the color.
The actress and her soon-to-be husband, Mickey Hargitay, moved into the Sunset Boulevard mansion in late 1957. Per The Hollywood Reporter, it cost Mansfield just $76,000—a steal for its size. She quickly got to work making the place her own, rolling out pink ***** carpet in all the rooms, painting the stucco exterior a sparkling bubblegum shade, and installing a heart-shaped pink marble tub in the primary bathroom.

Despite reports that the Buss family has voted to divest itself of its remaining ownership of the Los Angeles Lakers, team governor Jeanie Buss claims she's not going anywhere.
Ramishah Maruf and Matt Egan of CNN report that Buss's attorneys have contacted her siblings — Jim, Johnny, Janie, Joey and Jesse — in the aftermath of that ESPN report.

"On behalf of Jeanie Buss, I demand that your clients make clear publicly that Jeanie Buss is the Controlling Owner of the Los Angeles Lakers and that your clients shall take no action on this supposed 'vote' to sell the 17.8% stake," read the letter from attorney Adam Streisand.
Streisand also reportedly told CNN that the sale was "falsely reported" by ESPN and that "this is just the latest instance of a years-long pattern whereby Joey and Jesse Buss leak false, defamatory and pernicious 'information.'"

MINNEAPOLIS — WWE star Brie Bella suffered a shoulder injury during SummerSlam 2026 and "it seems pretty bad," WWE chief content officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque said Saturday night.
Bella, the WWE Hall of Famer, was injured in the six-person tag team match with sister Nikki and Paige against Fatal Influence during SummerSlam 2026 night one on Aug. 1.
Though nothing is known definitively at this time, it appears Brie Bella was injured when Jacy Jayne did a dive on her against the steel steps on her right shoulder. Bella was holding it for the rest of the match, and even after the loss, when her and her sister turned on Paige, Bella couldn't take part in the attack.
After the event, Levesque confirmed Bella suffered an injury that required her to be taken to a local hospital.
"Don't have a clean answer on it yet. I know she hurt her shoulder. Seems pretty bad, but I don't have that answer yet," he said. "Hopefully we will soon, and hopefully it won't be as bad as we thought it was, but that's the nature of the game.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are known for collecting starting pitching, and with Shohei Ohtani's status so uncertain at the moment, they will likely be placing calls to check in on the market.
Among the starting pitchers to be dealt, it has already been established that Tarik Skubal will be on the move. The Detroit Tigers are in free fall, and according to ESPN's Jeff Passan, it is a matter of when, not if.
The Dodgers are considered the "favorites" for Skubal, according to Passan, but that does not mean that they will indeed land him.
LA could be outbid, not due to a lack of resources, but because of how they want to allocate them. They may not want to give up all that much for a couple of months for Skubal, and the Dodgers could elect to have another team pay a steeper price.

These three remaining free agents could be the final pieces that shape the 2026-27 season.

Philadelphia makes the most sense if LeBron James is serious about winning another championship. The 76ers have already put together one of the best offseasons in the league and still have an opening at power forward. The position James happens to play.
He wouldn't have to carry the offensive workload every night alongside Jaylen Brown and Tyrese Maxey, allowing LeBron to focus on doing what LeBron does best: making everyone else around him better. A move to Philadelphia also keeps him in a massive market while giving him arguably his best chance at one last ***** le.

No, this isn't your older self's Pac-12.

There's obviously no USC, Washington, Oregon, etc., and in reality, for now, the new Pac-12 is nothing more than the Mountain West Select Cuts league with a few others along for the ride.

Whatever. Give Boise State a conference to play in, and it'll demand nothing less than a championship.

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — When the St. Joseph Mustangs’ pitching staff is throwing strikes, they’re one of the best in the MINK League. Prior to Friday’s game, the Mustangs sat at a league-best strikeout per nine innings of 11.01. To put that into perspective, the 2018 Houston Astros set the MLB record for team strikeout per nine of 10.44.
The problem isn’t their swing and miss stuff, the problem is finding that strike zone. They come second in the league with 103 walks.
Friday night’s first inning was the very epitome of this. Landon Jaynes, the 6’5” righty out of the University of Central Missouri, got the start against the Clarinda A’s. His first pitch of the game hit the first batter. He then walked the second, hit the third and walked the fourth. He then went on to strike out the next three batters to stop the bleeding.
“We gave almost 20 free passes,” Mustangs’ manager Johnny Coy said. “We’re a pretty good team but when you walk and hit almost 20 against a good team — I don’t know how many batters they left on base but they should’ve had about 20 runs. That just goes to show you that if you don’t throw strikes you’re not going to beat anyone good, ever. Our guys know that.”
Jaynes didn’t last long as he found himself in more trouble in the top of the third and was quickly replaced by Hutchinson Community College pitcher Bryson Augustyn. Augustyn came in and did his job, throwing a first-pitch strike and second pitch double-play ball to get out of a bases-loaded jam.

The WWE Queen of the Ring 2026 tournament heated up on this week’s June 5, 2026, edition of WWE SmackDown in the Unipol Arena in Italy. Monday night on WWE Raw, we saw IYO SKY overcome the likes of Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Lash Legend to secure her spot in the semifinal round. SKY sits pretty alone in the semis, up until another big star nabbed a huge win in the Queen of the Ring tournament, in front of the Italian WWE Universe in the Unipol Arena
WWE SmackDown in Italy was full of action, as the WWE tour of Europe continued. One of the highlights of the night was the first round matchup in the WWE Queen of the Ring tournament featuring the stars from WWE Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown slugging it out for a spot in the semifinals, when Jacy Jayne, Kiana James, Raquel Rodriguez and former multiple-time WWE Women’s Champion Bayley went at it for a potential spot in the semis.
Rodriguez got the brunt of the offense, as the other three women would try to chop down the biggest competitor in the match, trying to remove her from the equation early on. Bayley went for the early kill as she hit Kiana James with a Bayley-to-Belly, but it didn’t secure her the win. All three women would jockey for position, trying to nab the win with multiple pin attempts, that is, until Raquel Rodriguez bulldozed through all of them with a monster Cross Body.
After that reset, it was every woman for herself. All four were trying to finish the match in a big way, with highlights including Jayne hitting Bayley with an impressive Frankensteiner. Unfortunately for her, Rodriguez would catch both her and Bayley with a Double Chokeslam, but fortunately for them, Kiana James would launch herself onto Raquel to break up the pin.
Back from break, we see Bayley hit the Top Rope Elbow Drop, only for Jacy Jayne to break up the pin attempt. Kiana James would go nuclear, hitting the Dealbreaker, followed up by a Thrust Kick and Standing Moonsault. Bayley would get out of it. Kiana James would try to roll up Bayley, with her feet on the ropes, but Jayne would take it off the second rope.
