Emmy-winning US actress Mariska Hargitay and one of Taylor Swift's longtime friends recently revealed how Swift made her change her ways while the duo cheered for the New York Knicks during the 2026 NBA Finals.
The Knicks gave New York fans a reason to keep cheering when they won this year's NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs to lift the third NBA ****** le in franchise history. It was the Knicks' first ****** le since 1973, as Jalen Brunson led the way for the team to secure a 4-1 win over the Spurs.
Among the many Knicks fans in attendance were Swift and Hargitay, who were spotted cheering and dancing during Game 4 of the Finals. Months after the game, Hargitay revealed how she made her way to Madison Square Garden that night and what Swift did to turn her into a proper Knicks fan.

During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday, the Law & Order: SVU star revealed that she had to run all the way from the theatre to Madison Square Garden, as she was performing in a play at the time.
