The study (via The Hollywood Reporter) showed that the actresses are ninth cousins, once removed. Sweeney and Monroe share a mutual ancestor, Ezra Perry (c. 1625–1689). According to the study, Perry was an early English settler in Sandwich, Massachusetts.
MyHeritage director of research Roi Mandel called the discovery "incredible." After all, Sweeney has been compared to Monroe in the past. Rob Lowe's son, actor John Owen Lowe, shared an emotional poem about hope on his Instagram page over the weekend, just days after his 13-year-old cousin Fiona died by suicide.
The poem he posted was Emily ******* inson's "Hope Is the Thing With Feathers," which reads, "Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul, and sings the tune without the words, and never stops at all. She noted that as the children grow up, they may ask about their cousins and why they rarely see them. She added that George, Charlotte, and Louis could become part of those conversations as Archie and Lilibet learn more about their father's family. "Who are their cousins? Where do they live? Why don't they see very much of them?" she said.

An Alaska teenager who survived nearly two days atop an overturned fishing skiff told his rescuers that his cousin had slipped away during the night and that his older brother remained beneath the vessel after the three were thrown into the frigid Bering Sea, according to rescuers and family members.

Lil Durk has been cleared of every charge in the federal murder-for-hire trial that drew packed courtrooms, celebrity spectators and crowds of supporters to downtown Los Angeles.
A federal jury found the 33-year-old Chicago rapper, whose legal name is Durk Banks, not guilty on September 11 after three days of deliberations. The case centered on an August 2022 attack targeting rapper Quando Rondo that instead killed Rondo's 24-year-old cousin, Saviay'a Robinson, according to The ******* ociated Press.
Prosecutors accused Durk of financing and directing the attack in retaliation for the 2020 killing of his close friend Dayvon "King Von" Bennett. Durk's lawyers argued that former ******* istant Kavon Grant organized the plot without the rapper's knowledge and attacked the credibility of cooperating witnesses who had reached plea agreements with the government.
Durk was not released after the verdict. He remains in federal custody because he faces a separate trial involving murder-related racketeering and firearms allegations, with jury selection currently scheduled to begin October 5.

Being a fantasy manager often means having to make difficult roster decisions, but I aim to take some of the guesswork out of it with my Start 'Em and Sit 'Em column for every position. It goes without saying that I won't include obvious calls like "start Trey McBride" or "sit Tommy DeVito." Instead, I search for players that could be perceived as fringe that could propel your lineups for weekly wins.

Kyle Pitts Sr. @ PIT (Projected FPTS - 9.4): Despite the news of Cooper Rush likely being named the Week One starter, I am still high on Pitts. He finished last season as one of the top fantasy tight ends with Kirk Cousins under center. Besides, Atlanta doesn't really have many options for pass catchers after Bijan Robinson and Drake London, and new head coach Kevin Stefanski typically uses his tight ends. Pittsburgh is also a favorable matchup, allowing 11 touchdowns and the third-most points to the position last season.
Dallas Goedert vs. WSH (Projected FPTS - 8.5): Goedert finished last season with a career-high 11 touchdowns. While it's easy to ****** ume some regression, the Eagles traded A.J. Brown, and rookie wideout Makai Lemon is coming off a hamstring injury. Philly's passing attack will likely feature DeVonta Smith and Goedert for at least the early part of the season. He will take on a Commanders team that allowed 12 touchdowns the season before (tied for the second-most). Goedert should expect to see a fair share of targets, making him worth putting in your lineup.

That could make the ongoing divide even harder to explain now that Harry and Meghan live much closer.
The reported olive branch does not mean Kate expects William to erase everything that happened between the brothers. Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior working royals in 2020. The couple later spoke publicly about their experience within the royal family and released their Netflix docuseries, "Harry & Meghan," which explored the tensions surrounding their departure.

Prince William and Princess Kate's children might not have met up with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's kids during their recent trip to the U.K., but now that the Sussexes have officially moved back to England, that could soon change.
"Kate's telling [William] that the children deserve the opportunity to get to know their cousins," a source tells Closer. "It was one thing when Archie and Lilibet were on another continent. It was easy to make excuses then. But now, they will be so close."
On Tuesday, August 26, the BBC reported that Harry, 41, and Meghan, 45, and their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, touched down in Birmingham, England via private jet.

It's time for my annual Vikings season forecast. And like my forecasts for the rest of the NFC North teams, I will be looking at roster/coaching changes this offseason, injuries and luck factors from last season, and the change in strength of schedule from last season to this season to guide my forecast.
One thing you never find attached to any pundit's predictions is their track record, except this one. Predicting outcomes of football games and seasons is far from an exact science, but there are some key factors that can and do impact a team's season, some of which are not immediately obvious. Nevertheless, there are so many interrelated variables involved that perfection is impossible. My own track record is far from perfect, but since I started using my current formula I've at least been closer than the over/under total two of the last three seasons- 2023 being way off due to Kirk Cousins going down mid-season. In any case, this will be my tenth prediction over the past eleven seasons, having abandoned any prediction in 2016 after Teddy Bridgewater went down just prior to the start of the season. Here are the results:
2015: Prediction: 10-6. Actual: 11-5. Preseason over/under: 7.5
2016: No prediction after Bridgewater went down. Acutal: 8-8. Preseason over/under: 9.5 (pre-Bridgewater injury).
2017: Prediction: 12-4. Actual: 13-3. Preseason over/under: 8.5

Dundee soccer player Mason Cousino has been named to first Monroe County Region Athlete of the Week of the 2026-27 school year.
Cousino ran away with the ****** le for Aug. 24-30, drawing 63.7 percent of the 12,657 votes cast.
His total of 8,062 easily outdistanced the second-place tally of 2,984 by Summerfield football player Austin Taylor.
