Andre Iguodala's 2015 Finals MVP trophy has once again become a topic of conversation, this time due to a comment made by Tracy McGrady.
"The MVP of the regular season has more weight than a championship," said McGrady on Cousins with Vince Carter & Tracy McGrady podcast.
This comment was not taken lightly by Iman Shumpert, who has an NBA championship to his name, winning it with the Cleveland Cavaliers as part of their 2016 team.
Shumpert was also part of the Cavaliers team that went to the NBA Finals in 2015.
It was there that Iguodala showed the world his brilliance and brought the Golden State Warriors back from 2-1 down to win the championship.

LeBron James has added a new venture to his growing list of off-the-court interests: a YouTube channel dedicated to golf.
James, the 41-year-old who recently signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, released his first vlog-style video Aug. 15. The 96-minute video features James and several members of the Cleveland Cavaliers' 2016 championship team during a golf trip to Scotland in June.
Former Cavaliers Tristan Thompson, Kevin Love, J.R. Smith, Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson joined James at Cabot Highlands Resort's Castle Stuart Links. Matthew Dellavedova and Iman Shumpert also attended the reunion but were not featured in the video.

LeBron James choosing to join the Philadelphia 76ers in free agency is a shock to nearly everybody. Many believed he would end his brilliant career with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, or Golden State Warriors. After all, he has history with the Cavs and Heat, and he's close with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green with the Warriors.
James won a ******* le with the Cavaliers in 2016, the third of his four ******* les, as he led Cleveland on a historic rally from being down 3-1 to Curry, Klay Thompson, Green, and the Warriors. The future Hall of Famer will now look to win a fifth ******* le with Philadelphia and lead the franchise to its first since 1983.
Iman Shumpert was a member of that Cavs team and gave his thoughts on James choosing the Sixers on "The Big Podcast" with Shaquille O'Neal:
Every time he leaves somewhere, the story starts. I feel like Bron likes the challenge, but he's still a kid, like, at heart. Like, there's a story there. He goes to Philly. They haven't won in, what, 40 years? 30 years? 43 years. They haven't touched a ring. He gave somebody that hadn't seen it in 50 and he went to the Lakers and recrowned them...so, the challenge lies in Philly, now.
James is certainly one to always leave a legacy wherever he is. He has a huge legacy in the league due to what he did with the Cavaliers, Heat, and Lakers. Now, to Shumpert's point, the challenge is to win a ******* le in Philadelphia and give the Sixers the ring that organization so desperately is looking for.

With the additions of LeBron James and Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers' roster, they are now being called one of the favorites to win the 2027 championship. It is fair to have those expectations because adding two Finals MVPs to the roster is a massive boost for the team's chances.

The Kentucky football team is entering a new era in 2026 under coach Will Stein. We're going through the offensive positions, and ranking all 16 teams in the SEC at each position.
As we continue our position group previews of each SEC team and where Kentucky lands amongst their foes, we turn our attention to the offensive line. At all levels of football, but especially the SEC, you have to be strong in the trenches to compete against the top of this conference. Will Stein knows this, which is why he invested a lot of resources to overhaul this offensive line. Kentucky spent big up front to give 27-year-old offensive line coach Cutter Leftwich the talent to revive the big blue wall.
Ryan Silverfield has a ton to overcome in his first season as the Razorbacks head coach, and the offensive line could be the detriment of this offense. He brought Malachi Breland over from Memphis to be his starting left guard, and Bryant Williams the Louisiana transfer to be the starting right tackle. This is an inexperienced group across the board that will have a large task at hand, facing a brutal schedule with multiple game wreckers on the defensive line.
Jeff Lebby brought in a couple of SEC transfers to start at each guard spot, including Arkansas transfer LJ Prudhomme and LSU transfer DJ Chester. Jakheem Shumpert-Perkins and Blake Steen are expected to man the tackle spots. The Bulldogs offense have the firepower to be an explosive offense, but the offensive line will determine their overall ceiling as an offense in 2026.
Auburn's entire starting offensive line this season will be from the transfer portal, a theme of Alex Golesh is bringing guys with him from South Florida to help create continuity. Center Cole Best and right guard Cole Skinner follow Golesh over from the Bulls, and I am hesitant on being confident this plan will work out with the amount of USF players being brought in offensively. Michigan State transfer Stanton Ramil will be the left tackle, and James Madison transfer Jo Simmons will be the right tackle.

ESPN insider Shams Charania's latest report on the Los Angeles Lakers-Jonathan ****** inga trade rumors sparked buzz among fans on Tuesday. After reaching the NBA Finals in their first run as a core group, the San Antonio Spurs have become one of the top teams. Naturally, more eyes are on them, and unfortunately for them, they have become villains in the eyes of many NBA fans.
As the face of the franchise, Victor Wembanyama himself has been labelled a villain by a lot of people. Some of it is earned with how he retaliates against physicality, but some of it is also because of how good and imposing he really is as a giant.
Being an NBA villain is not inherently a bad thing because it just means a player is doing something right. Of course, the elbows and the shoves are not a good look, but Wembanyama can torment teams just because of how he dominates games.
