Air New Zealand is launching an innovative way for economy passengers to sleep on long-haul flights with bunk beds on board.

Canada’s better-than-expected gross domestic product (GDP) growth has put the economy on track to get close to or meet the Bank of Canada‘s growth outlook for the first quarter, economists said.

Cognizant Classic: Third round tee times moved up due to weather
PALM BEACH GARDENS — The Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches is moving up its tee times for Saturday’s third round at PGA National due to thunderstorms forecasted to move into the area late afternoon.
The first groups are off at 7:28 a.m. and the leaders will go off at 9:40 a.m. The tournament will send the players out in threesomes off the 1st and 10th tees. The chance of showers is 50 percent at 1 p.m. and there is a better than 60 percent chance of thunderstorms at 5 p.m.

As humpback whale populations recover, researchers are gaining a richer understanding of these wondrous creatures. A new study suggests it may take years for humpbacks to learn how to successfully serenade a mate.
Before being decimated by whaling a century ago, there were around 120,000 humpbacks globally, but over decades their numbers were reduced by as much as 95 percent. Since countries agreed to ban commercial whaling in 1986, humpback whales have been rebounding and have nearly recovered in some regions.
