The New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs last met in the NBA Finals back in 1999 — the Spurs won the championship back then, but this year, the two teams meet again in the finals with powerhouses like the Spurs' 21-year-old superstar Victor Wembanyama and the Eastern Conference MVP Jalen Brunson leading the Knicks. The Knicks overcame a 14-point deficit to win Game 1 105-95. They'll return to the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio for Game 2 on Friday, June 5. The game begins at 8:30 p.m. ET and you can tune in to that game, and every other game of the series, on ABC.

Bayern Munich and Eintracht Frankfurt defender Nathaniel Brown has reached an agreement in principle over a summer move, according to Sky Germany.
The report claims the parties have agreed on a contract until 2031, with Brown keen to join Bayern immediately.
It's now up to the two clubs to agree on a transfer fee for the deal to go through.
Bayern have already opened talks with Eintracht Frankfurt, who are understood to be demanding around €60 million for the German international.
The 22-year-old left-back has also been linked with ******* nal and Liverpool.

Former Scotland striker Alan Brazil says he is "very, very lucky to be here" after undergoing a liver transplant recently.
The 66-year-old, who now works as a broadcaster, revealed that his heart stopped beating during the procedure.
"I'd had ongoing trials and seen so many specialists and they decided I needed a transplant," Brazil told Talksport.
"I finished [work] at quarter to 10 and at 10 I had to phone Addenbrooke's Hospital. They said 'get in right now'.
"At two thirty that afternoon I was on the slab and they opened me up. I was under for something like eight hours.

In LPGA majors, only three of the last 17 major winners were in the top 10 at the time (Korda, 2024 and 2026 Chevron) and Lilia Vu (2023 AIG Women's British Open).
Over the past 10 years, the winners of the U.S. Women's Open had an average ranking of 30. Last year's champion, Maja Stark, was 33rd in the world when she won.

Declan Doyle has spent years around NFL quarterbacks, but Baltimore's new offensive coordinator said Lamar Jackson stands apart from anyone he's coached. Asked what has stood out most since arriving in Baltimore, Doyle immediately pointed to Jackson's athleticism and throwing ability.
"Lamar Jackson is the twitchiest athlete that I've ever seen on the field, just with your own two eyes," Doyle said.
While Jackson's mobility is well known around the league, Doyle believes one aspect of his game still doesn't get enough attention.
"The ball just jumps out of his hands when you're watching him," Doyle said. "He's a very arm-talented thrower."
Doyle explained that studying Jackson on film is one thing, but seeing him throw in person provides a different level of appreciation.

Jun. 2—The Jeff Trickey quarterback camps are returning to Jamestown for a seventh year.
The quarterback camp will be held June 8-9 at Charlotte and Gordon Hansen Stadium. The camp is available for athletes grades 7 through 12 and costs $279 dollars. The quarterback and receivers camp, designed for athletes grades 9 through 12, will be held June 28-30 at Hansen Stadium.

After that, the team had a meeting in its dugout about being more patient at the plate. That turned out to be the right strategy as the Falcons overwhelmed the Panthers for a 16-6 win in the Ohio High School Athletic ****** ociation Division IV regional semifinals June 2 at Day Air Ballpark.
Fenwick (22-8) advances to the regional final 2 p.m. June 4, also at Day Air. LV was the 2025 Division III state champs.
