The Blaugrana sporting department, led by Deco, has accelerated talks in recent hours. The Turkish club has given the final green light to Barça's financial offer.

The Barcelona boss has named 24 players for the trip but has left out Pedri and Gavi, with both players working on specific training plans right now.
Frenkie de Jong and Roony Bardghji miss out due to injury, while there's also no place for Marc Casado, Hector Fort, Tommy Marques, Jofre Torrents, Guille Fernandez, or Toni Fernandez who are all expected to depart before the transfer window closes.

A trio of first-team stars at La Liga giants Barcelona on Sunday moved to reiterate their commitment to the cause with a view to the season ahead in Catalunya's capital.
This came through respective early returns to pre-season training.
The majority of Hansi Flick's squad have of course now reported to base at the Ciutat Esportiva to kickstart preparations for the 2026/27 campaign. The likes of Marc Bernal, Alejandro Balde and Wojciech Szczęsny, in fact, have been hard at work for a number of weeks already.
For those members of Barca's ranks to have advanced all the way to the semi-finals of this summer's World Cup, though, their comebacks were pencilled in for this coming Wednesday, August 12th.
This group includes the likes of Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Jules Koundé.

According to SPORT, FC Barcelona wrapped up their preseason training camp in England with an internal training match, providing Hansi Flick with encouraging news ahead of the team's return to Spain.
After the scheduled friendly against Preston North End was cancelled because the English club did not have enough first-team players available, Flick instead organised an in-house match at St. George's Park.
The game was played on Pitch 6, named after England legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
The session began shortly before midday and consisted of three 20-minute periods, and finished in a 1-1 draw.
The first team lined up with: Wojciech Szczesny, Xavi Espart, Andreas Christensen, Gerard Martin, Jofre Torrents, Marc Bernal, Marc Casado, Orian Goren, Karim Adeyemi, Ebrima Tunkara, and Alex Gonzalez.

Barcelona took on Club Esportiu Europa in a friendly training match on Friday evening and came away with a 4-1 victory.
The two teams played behind closed doors, which means details are a little thin on the ground, but we do know Hansi Flick picked a very youthful team for the first half.

July 14 (UPI) -- Utah Jazz guard Trey Alexander injured his side and left on a stretcher during an NBA summer league game against the Chicago Bulls in Las Vegas.
The injury occurred in the final minutes of the Jazz's 80-63 triumph Monday at Thomas & Mack Center. Alexander was 0 for 5 and totaled one point, six rebounds and three ****** ists for the Jazz.
Jazz summer league coach Steve Wojciechowski did not provide an update on Alexander's status.
"I actually didn't see what happened," Wojciechowski said. "I don't have an update for you, other than he is being cared for by our medical staff."
The Jazz led 70-58 with about 2:30 remaining when Alexander dribbled near half court. Bulls forward Caleb Wilson picked up Alexander as he dribbled down the right flank.

LAS VEGAS — When the No. 1 pick goes up against the No. 2 pick, the stars come out.
The AJ Dybantsa vs. Darryn Peterson game was heavily attended at Las Vegas Summer League, with the lower bowl at Thomas & Mack center absolutely packed and NBA stars lining the court on all sides.
But the crowd was left a little underwhelmed, with the game not really reaching the level of hype it had garnered prior to tipoff.
“Look, they’re two of the best young players on the planet, and people are excited about them, and rightly so,” Jazz ******* istant coach Steve Wojciechowski said of Peterson and Dybantsa. “Those guys, from a very early age, have had to learn to handle the spotlight. And I’m not sure any games they’ve played in has been as big a spotlight as this one. ... And I thought both of them handled it really well.”
While both Peterson, the No. 2 overall pick by the Utah Jazz, and Dybantsa, the No. 1 overall pick by the Washington Wizards, were able to showcase a number of reasons that they are going to be centerpieces for their respective teams, this was not the Summer League classic that everyone was hoping for.

BUIES CREEK — Campbell will travel to Durham on Tuesday, Dec. 15 to take on Duke — just a few months before the 35th anniversary of the teams facing off in the 1992 NCAA tournament.
The meeting will be the fourth overall between the Camels and Blue Devils on the hardwood and the first since Nov. 13, 2021, when No. 9 Duke held off an upset-minded Campbell squad 67-56.
Campbell’s contest at Duke will mark the seventh-consecutive season that Campbell has faced an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent. Already the all-time leading scorer in World Cup history, Lionel Messi entered the record books again during Argentina's last-16 clash with Egypt, although this time for an unwanted reason.
The Inter Miami captain saw his first-half penalty saved by Mostafa Shobeir, marking his second miss from the spot at the 2026 World Cup. Earlier in the tournament, Messi had also failed to convert a penalty against Austria.

A goalkeeper is not high on Barcelona’s list of transfer priorities as matters stand, especially given that they only signed Joan Garcia last summer.
The Spaniard arrived and took over as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper and even remained rock-solid in goal last season. He was, in fact, one of the driving forces behind the team’s success.
His arrival relegated Marc-Andre Ter Stegen to a fringe role at the club, especially given the German’s issues with form and fitness.
Heading into next season, Barcelona are looking to move the captain out of the club, and will count on Szczesny as their backup option after Garcia.

FC Barcelona have settled their first-team goalkeeping hierarchy with Joan Garcia as the expected starter and Wojciech Szczesny providing experienced backup.
But one position remains undecided ahead of the new season: the third goalkeeper.
Following Diego Kochen’s loan move to Lyngby, Inaki Pena’s transfer to Panathinaikos, after returning from loan at Elche, and Ander Astralaga’s departure after his contract expired, the club must now select a new third-choice keeper.
Now, according to Mundo Deportivo, the decision is expected to come down to two highly regarded prospects from the Barcelona youth academy: Iker Rodriguez and Eder Aller.
18-year-old Rodriguez is still eligible to play youth football but is considered one of the brightest goalkeeping talents in La Masia.

Barcelona know who their goalkeepers will be next season, which is why finding a solution for Marc-Andre ter Stegen is proving to be a massive headache.
It has been known for a while that the German goalkeeper’s future remains one of the most delicate issues facing the club this summer.
Since Joan Garcia will be Barcelona’s long-term No. 1 and Wojciech Szczęsny is expected to continue as backup, Ter Stegen’s situation remains unresolved.
Right now, the Blaugrana are open to move on from the veteran goalkeeper, but several factors are making that objective far more difficult than expected.
