The race will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Cooper Farms turkey harvesting plant at 1 Cooper Farms Drive, St. Henry.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's kids will reportedly attend a "posh" UK school with a $35,000-a-year price tag. The Duke and ***** ss of Sussex were said to be sending Archie and Lilibet to a private prep school after their UK return. The recent report says the campus they chose includes luxury amenities, sports facilities, arts ***** es, and river access. The school has not been named for privacy reasons
As per a Page Six report, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet would attend a private UK prep school. The outlet says the school costs more than "$35,000 a year." The report also describes it as a "ritzy institution" with "state-of-the-art amenities." These include an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, grass playing fields, AstroTurf pitches, and river access for boating and kayaking.
Additionally, the campus reportedly has several creative and academic ***** es, including art studios, a cooking room, science labs, and a large theater. The school is also said to feature a music and performing arts center. It reportedly has practice rooms, classrooms, rehearsal ***** es, a recital hall, and a garden. Pupils also get on-campus breakfast, lunch, and supper, including falafel and slow-roasted lamb shoulder.
Ahead of the kids' first day, parents at a posh school in the UK reportedly received warnings. The letter told them not to take photos or videos of students as a privacy measure.
For context, Archie and Lilibet are expected to begin school this week. This comes after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have returned to the UK for "an extended period." Although the family has not made a public appearance since the move, reports claim they are staying in the Cotswolds.

It's finally a game week for the defending ACC champion Duke Blue Devils, who open their season against the reigning American Conference champions, Tulane. After seven months of offseason tweaks and offensive retooling, here's how each offensive coordinator arrived at this moment and what to expect from each attack in Week 1.
Jonathan Brewer, Duke
Brewer came over with head coach Manny Diaz in December of 2023 and previously served under him as a senior offensive quality control coach from 2020-2021 at Miami. Last year under Brewer was historic for the Blue Devil offense as the unit set the program record for touchdowns scored (63), points scored (484), and pass efficiency (152.53). The group was the first in school history to have a 3,000-yard passer, 1,000-yard receiver, and 1,000-yard rusher.
The obvious hurdle Brewer and this offense will have to overcome is the churn at quarterback. Darian Mensah was one of the best QB's in all of college football a season ago, which was a massive part of Duke's success offensively.
This season, the Blue Devils will trot out San Jose State transfer Walker Eget, who has some huge shoes to fill but has a great deal of experience as a Division I starter. Brewer has been known to do great work with QB's throughout his career, so it's certainly possible that Eget will come out firing on all cylinders versus Tulane.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have their initial 53-man roster in place.
After trimming the roster throughout the week, Tampa Bay finalized its first regular-season group ahead of Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bucs kept two quarterbacks, six wide receivers and 10 offensive linemen on offense, while the defense features a young group that includes first-round pick Rueben Bain Jr., Josiah Trotter and Benjamin Morrison.

Josiah Trotter finished the preseason with an 80.5 defensive grade, the fourth highest among rookie linebackers who played at least 20 snaps. Only Ohio State's Arvell Reese, LSU's Harold Perkins Jr. and Texas Tech's Jack Kelly finished ahead of him.
Against the Jets, Trotter played just 15 defensive snaps but earned an 82.4 PFF grade. He finished with three total tackles without being charged with a missed tackle and earned a 78.1 run defense grade. Trotter attacked downhill, forced runners to change direction, and held up when asked to cover tight ends and running backs. There wasn't much concern about Trotter's ability against the run coming out of Missouri, as he earned an 89.3 run defense grade during his final college season and built his reputation around his instincts and willingness to attack gaps. Coverage was the bigger question after he posted grades below 50 in that area during each of his final two college seasons, but those concerns haven't prevented the Bucs from giving him opportunities.
Trotter started alongside Alex Anzalone when Tampa Bay played its first team defense against Kansas City, another indication that the competition with SirVocea Dennis for a starting role has been legitimate. The rookie has also talked about how quickly the game has started to slow down for him as he's gotten more comfortable in Todd Bowles' defense. Trotter has looked capable of handling more than just early down run defense, which could make it easier for Bowles to declare him a starter come regular season.

It took seven days more than expected, but Walsh Jesuit will get to play its second game of the Ohio high school football season in Week 3 on Friday, Sept. 4.
The Warriors (1-0), ranked No. 1 in the Beacon Journal's Power Poll heading into Week 2 after a season-opening rout of Highland, had to cancel their home opener against Springfield (Clark Co.) late last week after an outbreak of an illness in the Springfield program.
Now Walsh will face a strong test when it hosts Toledo Central Catholic (2-0), a 2025 Division III state runner-up that started the season with wins over Trotwood-Madison (27-9) and Portage Central (24-14).

A reversal of fortune that was almost impossible to see coming before the start of the preseason.
But Shrader has looked a lot more like himself for three weeks now, and when the Colts' third-string offense faltered at midfield in the second half of Saturday's 25-16 preseason loss to the Lions, it almost felt inevitable when Shrader lined up for a 60-yard field goal in the third quarter.
He looked like he knew exactly what he needed to get ready. When an injury forced the on-field action to pause, Shrader trotted back over to the team's kicking net on the sideline and took one more practice swing with his right leg.
"I kind of read the situation, felt like I had enough time to go over and get a practice kick in, kind of reset mentally and then go out there and do my routine," Shrader said.

TimesofIndia.com in Colombo: In his first press conference of the tour, Shubman Gill termed qualifying for the World Test Championship as the "ultimate goal," a sentiment he maintained while preparing to leave the country. In between his two media interactions, the Indian captain saw his team register a comprehensive win in Galle and then settle for a draw in a fixture they were well positioned to win in Colombo. Although the series was won, the trophy secured, and his undefeated run as captain checked off crucial boxes, India left behind crucial WTC points needed to boost their win percentage.

As captain, he had his most challenging few days under the sun in Colombo when Sonal Dinusha and the Sri Lanka's tail frustrated the visitors and prevented them from getting the result they desperately wanted. There were moments he would helplessly stand and observe from the short-cover position, have an intense chat with head coach Gautam Gambhir when nothing worked and then even egg his teammates on when their shoulders started dropping.

"It gets very frustrating," he said regarding the challenges, explaining the questions that follow. "Was follow-on the best decision, was it not? But then you have to go back in the moment and see, what can I do? Did I make the best decision in that moment? Yes, I did. Then you can't do anything about it. You have to keep trying your best, and I think we did that," added the Indian captain.

While they struggled to remove the Sri Lankan tail in both innings, Gill was not ready to pin the blame on any of his teammates and lauded their effort.

"We tried all that we could, and at the end of the day, even from the players, you can expect them giving their 100%, their top efforts, and I don't think there was any lacking in intensity or the efforts that we put in," said Gill.
Highlighting the volume of overs the spinners bowled on a surface which became easier to bat as the game progressed, Gill gave them 10/10 for effort and intent, and continued to focus on the ultimate goal - the World Test Championship.

"The spinners bowled 50-60 overs on the trot for three days. Fielding for three days is not an easy task in these conditions with the heat. In terms of effort, I would say 10 out of 10 for the effort and the intent. A lot of learning, so many things won't always go as you plan, but as long as we still have a chance to qualify for the World Test Championship," added Gill.

India operated with in-out field positions for most of the match, offering significant protection against the sweep, especially when Sonal Dinusha was at the crease. While it did open up easy singles, Gill felt there couldn't have been a better plan as the slow turn off the surface meant bowled and LBW were the dismissals out of the equation.

NEW DELHI: India captain Shubman Gill on Thursday ruled out any injury concern for Mohammed Siraj after the pacer appeared to be below his best during the drawn second Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo.

Siraj bowled at a reduced pace and often used a shorter run-up during the Test. His fitness also came under the scanner after he landed heavily while trying to take a catch in Sri Lanka's first innings.

Gill, however, made it clear that Siraj was not carrying an injury.
Gill said Siraj had not been feeling his best even during the first Test in Galle and was also returning to international cricket after a break.

"Firstly, Siraj is not injured. He didn't feel well even in the first match (at Galle). He last played against Afghanistan in June…so he was playing almost after a couple of months. It takes time for someone to come back to the rhythm.

"Even in the first Test, we felt that his pace was slow. But sometimes when you play more, you come back to the rhythm. But as far as the injury is concerned, there is nothing," he said.

Siraj's lack of his usual pace was noticeable as India struggled to finish off Sri Lanka on the fifth day. The hosts batted through the final day, with Sonal Dinusha scoring an unbeaten 133 to secure a draw.
India had reduced Sri Lanka to 229/6 by the end of the fourth day but could not force the remaining wickets on the final day.

"It gets very frustrating. We attacked a lot in the beginning. But I think as the match went on, the wicket got slower. It was not like the ball was not moving and when the ball was spinning, the wickets were not in play. It was not like the wicket was very flat," said Gill at the post-match press meet.

The India captain said Sri Lanka's defensive approach made it difficult for his bowlers to create chances.

"Unless you are playing a shot and looking to make a run, then it is difficult to take a wicket. We tried all that we could, and I don't think there was any lack of intensity or the efforts that we put in. The spinners bowled 50-60 overs on the trot for three days.

"Fielding for three days is not an easy task in these conditions. I would say 10 out of 10 for the effort and the intent. They also played really well," he added.

Gill also felt India could have been in a better position if they had taken their chances on the fourth day.

"On day 4, we thought we had created chances. If there was a little more pressure, the wickets would have come and then maybe the result would have been better. But as long as we still have a chance to qualify for the World Test Championship (final), it's fine."
Gill was pleased with the progress made by Prasidh Krishna.

"I think he's been in the pick of our bowlers. When things are not happening, he's been our go-to bowler, especially this season. He's created chances, which is what I want as a captain. We want a go-to bowler when wickets are not guaranteed. I think he did that brilliantly," he said.

On August 26, 1935, a Monday, José Manuel Ramos Delgado, the unforgettable center back Ramos Delgado, was born in the city of Quilmes, Argentina. His father, Faustino, a Cape Verdean, gave him the surname Ramos, and Delgado he inherited from his mother Maura, who was born in Sicily, Italy.

His solid, composed performances put him on the list of call-ups for the 1958 World Cup in Sweden and caught the attention of River Plate, which signed him in 1959. For the Buenos Aires club he did not win any ***** les, but he became a great idol of the fans because of his talent for dispossessing opposing players without violence, and his class when playing out from the back was applauded by his Argentine admirers.
Ramos Delgado was captain of the Argentine National Team for many years, and when he arrived at Vila Belmiro he was already an experienced player. At the age of 32, he came with the mission of replacing the star Orlando Peçanha and the legendary Mauro Ramos de Oliveira.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers left their first joint practice with the Jacksonville Jaguars knowing their effort wasn't good enough. Tuesday's practice was one of Tampa Bay's roughest sessions of the summer. The offense struggled to consistently move the ball, Jacksonville controlled stretches on both sides and, perhaps most concerning, the Buccaneers lacked the energy and physicality they had shown throughout camp.
Baker Mayfield admitted afterward that Jacksonville was the more physical team, while Josiah Trotter Jr. acknowledged that Tampa Bay's energy and body language weren't up to the standard the defense expects. Chris Godwin Jr was similarly critical, saying the Bucs have to create their own energy when playing on the road and respond better when things start going wrong. The second practice was lighter and conducted without full pads, with most of the competitive work coming during seven on seven periods before the teams separated for walkthroughs. Still, Tampa Bay played with noticeably more tempo and made the most of the opportunities it had against Jacksonville, and the defense provided the biggest response.
Trotter intercepted Trevor Lawrence in the red zone after recognizing a wheel route, and undrafted rookie Ayden Garnes followed with another interception. Benjamin Morrison and Keionte Scott also recorded pass breakups as Tampa Bay's young secondary consistently challenged Jacksonville's passing game. The offense looked sharper as well. Mayfield connected with Tez Johnson, Kenny Gainwell and Ted Hurst III for touchdowns during red zone work. Hurst continued his impressive week by beating Travis Hunter for another score after having success against him during Tuesday's practice. Todd Bowles still wasn't completely satisfied. He called the offense rusty over the two days and noted that the defense had mental mistakes that need to be corrected. But he also felt the Bucs got the mental work they needed from the trip. Tampa Bay was challenged after looking flat and getting outplayed Tuesday. Rather than carrying that performance into the final day of camp, the Bucs returned with better energy and execution.

All good things have to come to an end. All things that aren't so great tend to also have an expiration date. So it is with great understanding and precious little passion that sports fans learned today that the NFL is eliminating the Pro Bowl Games.
Look, life is too darn short to be negative all of the time. But poll 10 people and at least nine will tell you they have had better things to do than check in on the Pro Bowl Games, a somewhat competitive replacement for the actual football game that had been held since 1938.
Still, it's the end of an era.
So often the phrase "addition by subtraction" gets trotted out in conversation. It's overused because it is hard, at scale, to take something away and have things be better. This is a rare case where the idea applies, though.
The NFL will still honor 88 Pro Bowlers with an announcement in late December. Gone is any need to scramble for replacements when scores of players pass on the opportunity to be part of the festivities. In lieu of watching these guys play patty cake on the gridiron or, uh, dodgeball, we'll get to focus on their accomplishments and debate who earned the honor and who was snubbed.

They are guaranteed to begin the season weaker than they ended the last, regardless of what happens in the closing days of the transfer window.
They aren't the only ones. Lens have an Icarus-like quality to them, having run PSG close for the **** le and won their maiden Coupe de France **** le. A little too close to the sun, a little too much success, and they have come crashing down. Pierre Sage has left, as have Adrien Thomasson, Mamadou Sangaré, Malang Sarr, Allan Saint-Maximin, and Welsey Said. Les Sang et Or aren't building from Ground Zero, but the backbone of last season's side has been broken. A replication of last season's success would be miraculous.

Trotter is in a tough situation for his own development. He is a starting-caliber linebacker stuck in one of the NFL's deepest units, with little chance of earning meaningful playing time. Unless injuries occur or Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio decides to play three linebackers at a higher rate, he won't play for most of the year.
Trotter may not get the opportunity, but he deserves more playing time. He proved as much against the Patriots, shooting through the A-gap in the first quarter to sack quarterback Tommy DeVito.

NEW YORK (AP) — Rookie Spencer Jones hit a towering two-run homer in the second inning that was upheld on replay, and the New York Yankees beat the Toronto Blue Jays 3-1 on Friday night for their fifth straight victory.
New York starter Cam Schlittler (11-6) held the Blue Jays to one run and six hits in six innings. The tall right-hander allowed one earned run or fewer for the major league-leading 19th time and got his first win since July 24.
After Trent Grisham opened the second with a walk, Jones lifted Spencer Arrighetti's 2-1 curveball to right field. The ball stayed fair, passed the foul pole before landing about halfway up the second deck.
Jones watched the flight of the ball before starting his home run trot. As he was about halfway through, Toronto manager John Schneider called for a review and the home run stood following a brief delay.
It was Jones' seventh homer and the second time he homered in consecutive games. Jones also went deep at Wrigley Field July 31-Aug. 1.

The Buffalo Bills are heading into an important season in 2026. The team is trotting out a new head coach in Joe Brady while carrying the Super Bowl expectation they've had in recent years.

The outlet named the player that is on the "hot seat" more than anybody heading into next year. In Buffalo, the selection is a newcomer in linebacker Bradley Chubb.
Over the past several years, Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane has tried to find a strong veteran pass-rushing piece for the team's defensive front. Names like Joey Bosa and Von Miller come to mind. Chubb is the latest member of that group after signing a three-year deal this offseason.
Chubb will be tasked with helping the Bills increase their sacks total next season from the 36 that the team recorded in 2025, which was sixth-fewest in the NFL.

According to Garafolo, communication between Vea's representatives and Tampa Bay remains open, even though the two sides are far from an agreement.
Vea requested a trade after the Buccaneers and his representatives failed to agree on a contract extension. The 31-year-old is entering the final year of his current deal, which is scheduled to pay him roughly $18 million in 2026. However, the fact that the lines of communication remain open suggests Tampa Bay isn't simply preparing to move on from one of the most important players on its defense.
Garafolo also highlighted why Vea believes he deserves more money. Over the past two seasons, Vea has recorded 101 quarterback pressures and 11.5 sacks, according to Pro Football Focus. Those numbers compare favorably with other highly paid interior defensive linemen, including Jeffery Simmons, Quinnen Williams, Jalen Carter and Dexter Lawrence. Vea responded to Garafolo's post with a simple shrugging emoji, as if to say the numbers speak for themselves.
For the Buccaneers, keeping Vea would be a major boost to a defense that has already changed significantly. Tampa Bay is counting on young players such as Rueben Bain Jr. and Josiah Trotter Jr. to contribute immediately, making Vea's veteran presence and ability to command attention even more valuable. The trade request doesn't necessarily mean a trade is inevitable.
As long as Tampa Bay and Vea's representatives keep talking, a path to common ground remains. The Buccaneers could potentially restructure or extend his contract while keeping one of their most important defensive players in Tampa.

The Philadelphia Eagles knew they had something to work with when they drafted Jeremiah Trotter Jr. If nepotism alone worked out in their favor, he'd be pretty special. They also knew his path to a prominent role wouldn't necessarily be immediate. That seems prophetic now, but patience is being rewarded.
Trotter has spent training camp consistently finding his way around the football, making plays as a run defender and blitzer while showing the instincts that made him such an intriguing prospect coming out of the Clemson Tigers program. With first-round pick Jihaad Campbell alongside established starter Zack Baun, Trotter has another hurdle to clear before becoming a full-time contributor. Still, so far, he has made that decision a lot harder to stand on.
Camp has provided plenty of evidence that Trotter is ready for more responsibility. He has shown up repeatedly in run-defense periods. He has found creases as a blitzer, and he has played with the kind of downhill aggression the Eagles want from their linebackers. That production carried into Philadelphia's preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens. One can argue that Trotter was the best player that the Eagles put on the field.
He was especially active early, recording five tackles before halftime and delivering a delayed blitz that resulted in a sack of Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley. He didn't play the entire game, but he didn't need to. The Eagles got another valuable glimpse of what he can offer when given meaningful opportunities. What's becoming increasingly interesting is the company around him. Campbell received two early series alongside Trotter and continues to show why Philadelphia invested heavily in him.
Baun remains the veteran leader of this corps and one of the defense's most dependable players. Still, rather than allowing that depth to bury Trotter, the competition appears to be bringing out his best football. That's exactly what the Eagles should want. Trotter doesn't need to become a starter overnight to have value. A defense playing deep into the postseason needs linebackers who can step onto the field without creating a noticeable drop-off.

LAS VEGAS – Aces forward NaLyssa Smith continues to quietly strengthen her Most Improved Player of the Year case.
Despite the defending WNBA champions taking a 92-87 defeat to the league-leading Minnesota Lynx (29-7) on Saturday night at the Michelob ULTRA Arena, Smith — not for the first time this season — trotted off the hardwood with her head high.
Smith did what she was supposed to do, and then some, dropping a 17-point, 12-rebound double-double — on 7-for-13 from the field — with nine of the boards coming on the offensive end. It was her fourth double-double of the year and the third in the last five games.
In totality, the former No. 2 Draft pick was the only real support four-time A'ja Wilson had in trying to combat fire with fire against the Lynx's high-powered offense led by the lethal trio of rookie Olivia Miles, Napheesa Collier, and Kayla McBride.
Wilson poured in 32 points to go along with seven rebounds and three stocks. She went 10-for-15 from the floor and 11-for-12 at the free-throw line. Together, Wilson and Smith shot a combined 17-for-28 FG. The rest of the team went 14-for-41, including Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray going 8-for-26.

The Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns took two different approaches to this game. The Bears sat many of their starters, including quarterback Caleb Williams, while the Browns trotted out most of their ones to start the game and played QB Deshaun Watson the entire first half.
The Bears' first-string offense did get in some work, though, as head coach Ben Johnson said they got in a "phenomenal throwing session" and ran over 60 plays. He added he's not sure if they'll play the starters in the next preseason game, and that he's "happy with what the offense looks like right now."
But back to yesterday's game.
The Bears put up 34 unanswered points after falling behind 10-0, and they coasted to a 34-10 win. Ben Johnson's Bears have yet to lose a preseason game.
Chicago had more total yards (430 to 314) and more first downs (22 to 13), but the Browns had the time-of-possession edge (34:03 to 25:57).

NEW YORK — The sense of anticipation crackled through the Citi Field crowd as No. 84 trotted out of the bullpen in the eighth inning on Saturday afternoon.
Jefry Yan has only pitched in five major-league games, but a little less than two weeks since his debut, Mets fans know who the left-handed reliever is and the boisterous celebration that he brings with him to the mound.
Yan's big arm and his unique leaping celebration was on full display for the first time in Flushing, and it momentarily lifted the home crowd out of the team's reality in the standings.
He picked up five straight outs, including four celebrations — three warranted with strikeouts and another miscalculation on a ball call — and exited with his first career win after Francisco Lindor delivered a walk-off RBI single in the ninth inning of the Mets' 5-4 triumph over the Nationals in front of 34,737 fans at Citi Field.
"I was just trying to go out there and do my best because the last couple outings that I've had, I've battled a little bit," Yan said through an interpreter. "When I got to the mound, first and foremost, try to do my job and then once I did my job, it was time to have fub with the fans. We really enjoyed that part."

EAST RUTHERFORD – There was no grand announcement when he stepped on the field. With a little over six minutes left in the first half of the Giants' preseason-opening, 13-10 loss to the Vikings, Odell Beckham Jr. simply trotted on with the second team and took his place on the far side.
He couldn't hide, though. It wasn't long before those at MetLife Stadium noticed. And once they did, they let the wideout know how they felt about him being back.
"Time to play ball," said Beckham. "It's a blessing to be out there."
The loudest ovation of the afternoon was that for Beckham – who spent the first five years of his career with New York, who drafted him 12th overall in 2014. The now 33-year-old was elite for New York. Injuries then derailed his career as the years dragged on.
He last played a game in December of 2024. He last had 50-plus yards in a game in December of 2023. He last played for the Giants in December of 2018. Now here he is, in August of 2026, trying to make the Giants' 53-man roster.

Hayes sported a salmon-colored tank top and rocked a gold chain around his muscle-free shoulders — a look that spurred host Alex Wagner to immediately trot out the old phrase, "suns out, guns out" as the cable news veteran flexed his right bicep.

In a bit of top pitching prospect musical chairs, word broke early Saturday morning that Hagen Smith and Tanner McDougal were getting the call to the South Side, with fellow rookies Noah Schultz and David Sandlin heading down to Charlotte.
White Sox sources confirmed the news to multiple outlets, with Future Sox first getting the news out.
While not the impetus for the moves, they couldn't come at a better time for a depleted White Sox bullpen, whose fatigue was further exacerbated on Friday night when manager Will Venable missed Zach Bove's mound visit four batters into the game and trotted out to chat with Schultz after a two-run single, forcing the lefthander's early exit. Despite throwing just 23 pitches, Schultz is burned for the next four days, and Sandlin had thrown just 18 ⅓ innings since June 26 while battling minor injury (he tossed 96 on Friday night in emergency relief of Schultz).
Smith, the No. 2 prospect in the White Sox system per MLB, and McDougal (No. 4), both are starting pitchers but have taken on reduced workloads in 2026 due to injuries.
Smith struggled through a shoulder impingement that sidelined him from mid-June to mid-July, but holds a 1.43 ERA in six games out of the Knights pen since his return.

Aug 6 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump signed two executive orders on Thursday in a new but narrower attempt to curtail birthright citizenship, once again challenging a provision of the U.S. Constitution even though the Supreme Court rejected his previous effort.
Limiting birthright citizenship has been one of the ‌top priorities in the Republican president's crackdown on immigration, with the White House taking particular aim at what it calls "birth tourism," in which pregnant foreigners travel to the U.S. to ‌give birth.
After his June 30 setback in the Supreme Court, Trump called on Congress to act, but on Thursday he opted for executive orders, which set policy but do not carry the same weight as laws passed by Congress.
The Supreme Court had struck down as unconstitutional Trump's earlier executive order, which targeted a wide swath of immigrants in the country illegally or temporarily.
