Rangers 7, Mariners 3
That was a very nice way to end the series, and the homestand.
Having good ****** ar Rocker on the mound certainly helped quite a bit.
I didn't think we were going to have good ****** ar Rocker in the early going. After a quick first, Randy Arozarena took Rocker deep to start the second inning, negating Joc Pederson's leadoff home run in the bottom of the first.
Then, staked to a 4-1 lead when he took the mound to start the third inning, thanks to Pederson's second homer of the day, Rocker gave up a flared single, a rocket single, and a line drive from Julio Rodriguez that resulted in a sacrifice fly, making it 4-2.

Astros 9, Rangers 3
That was unfun.
Kumar Rocker? Well, I guess he pitched okay, if you ignore the home runs.
The home runs? They kind of put a damper on things.
Allowing Yordan Alvarez to launch one to the moon? Okay, that happens. Pretty much every time Alvarez plays the Rangers, really.

Quarterback consistency is a big factor in a team maintaining success, which is extremely hard to do in the current college football landscape. However, the Oregon Ducks have been a great example of getting it right at quarterback year after year.
In a recent article, Blake Brockermeyer lists the Ducks' quarterback room as the best in college football. Here is what he had to say about the Ducks' signal callers:
"Dante Moore is my top-ranked QB entering the season season and it is still baffling that he turned down life-changing money to return to Oregon. More power to him.
The Ducks have also done a strong job over the last few seasons of adding capable backup quarterbacks with starting experience as insurance. Dylan Raiola is now the next man up after starting the last few seasons for Nebraska, giving Oregon one of the rare quarterback rooms with both high-end talent and real experience behind the starter. Moore resurrected his career by transferring to Oregon and learning behind Dillon Gabriel for a year, and Raiola is going to replicate that come 2027.
Oregon's quarterbacks enter the season with 42 combined starts on a loaded roster that looks like my favorite to win the national ***** le. In today's college football, that kind of quarterback depth is almost impossible to find."

Tigers 6, Rangers 3
The Rangers are now on a losing streak.
And are back to .500.
Why do the Rangers want to vex us so?
Kumar Rocker seemed to be going well to start the game. He faced one over the minimum through three innings, allowing a pair of singles, but erasing one of them with a double play ball.

One part of people's budgets is untouchable no matter how thin their wallets get, and that's Fido's portion. The only segment of General Mills' sales in North America that rose in the fourth quarter was its pet business, which includes brands like Blue Buffalo and Tiki Cat. The rest of its earnings, reported yesterday, weren't as rosy.
The company, which owns brands including Cheerios and Betty Crocker, posted a $2 billion loss last quarter, mainly because of non-cash items. Revenue rose 1% as shoppers skimped, opting for smaller package sizes and sale items.
General Mills said yesterday it'll try to scrape together $3 billion in cost savings over the next four years, all while innovating in its products. Investors seemed to like the sound of the cereal company's lean and protein-packed plan, pushing its stock up about 9% yesterday.

Courteney ****** is doing her best to stay positive and power through the pain of her break-up from longtime partner Johnny McDaid, a source tells In Touch.
"The plain truth is that he just got bored of the arrangement over time and decided to throw in the towel late last year," the source says of their 10-plus year romance. "The spark had gone and he wanted to draw a line so they could both move on."
It's not the first time the couple has called it quits.
Back in 2015, the Snow Patrol rocker, 49, broke off their engagement in a couples therapy session, the Friends alum, 62, revealed during a 2024 appearance on Minnie Questions with Minnie Driver.
Despite reconciling a year later, ****** and McDaid never did make it down the aisle.

A lot has changed for Khloé Kardashian since the early days of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," especially her style. Decades and countless seasons since the show first aired on E!, the Kardashian family has built an empire that includes fashion, popcorn, jeans, makeup, shapewear, vitamins, tequila, and beyond. Fans remember the Khloé from those early days fondly, mostly cherishing her sense of humor and her individuality, which can be challenging in a large family like hers.
Through her style, the Good American founder has carved her own lane and built her own identity without allowing her sisters and their endeavors to change her unique personality and flair. Since the beginning, she has had an eye for flashy footwear that perfectly coordinated with her outfits but has since pivoted toward more minimalist styles. Her sisters Kim and Kourtney have developed their own shoe styles as well, with the former leaning more into towering designer high heels and the latter going for a more rocker-chic aesthetic. Her younger sister Kylie usually stays ahead of the trends, while Kendall goes for minimalist, model off-duty shoes.

Rangers 4, Marlins 3
That was a productive way to start a lengthy road trip.
After ****** ar Rocker had the best outing of his career roughly a monthly ago in Colorado, throwing 7.2 shutout innings while striking out seven after coming in behind an opener, I confidently predicted that the Rangers would do that again his next time out.
The Rangers did not, in fact, do that again his next time out. Rocker was generally fine his next four starts, then got knocked around last week against the Twins, allowing seven runs, including two in the first.
With a 9.69 ERA in the first inning of games coming into his start against Miami, compared to a 2.89 ERA in every other inning, Skip Schumaker went back to the opener well, having Tyler Alexander pitch the first inning, with Rocker following him.

As Lewis Crocker realised a lifetime dream by winning the IBF welterweight ***** le at Windsor Park in his native Belfast last September, predictably, the questions as to what is next quickly followed.
Marquee names such as Conor Benn and Devin Haney were rumoured for a lucrative first defence, while a domestic rematch with Conah Walker was also touted, but instead of home comforts, the 29-year-old finds himself in Brisbane, Australia to face mandatory contender and local favourite Liam Paro on Wednesday.
With Paddy Donovan - whom Crocker had edged in their rematch to claim the ***** le last year to improve to 22 wins from as many contests - withdrawing from a final eliminator against Paro [27-1] in January, the former IBF light-welterweight champion was elevated to mandatory challenger.
Australian promoter No Limit would win the purse bid, edging out Crocker's promoter Matchroom by $27,000 (£20,000), handing Paro the opportunity to win a world ***** le in his native Queensland.
Roles are somewhat reversed this time, as Paro won his first world ***** le in the 10st division by upsetting the odds in June 2024 against Puerto Rico's Subriel Matias in enemy territory, before returning to the island to be out-pointed by USA's Richardson Hitchens six months later.

There won't be much news around the NFL for the next month between OTAs and training camp, but one of the biggest storylines to monitor is the potential return of Aaron Donald. Who knows when we'll get news about his decision for the 2026 season, but he's certainly keeping everyone on their toes.
Michael Brockers, Quentin Lake and other players have teased Donald's return but no one can say for sure whether he's coming back or not.
Recently, Cayden's Corner on TikTok asked former NFL stars whether they think Donald will be back in 2026, and they all believe he will. LeSean McCoy previously hinted at Donald returning and he teased that possibility again in this video.
Cam Newton, Chad Johnson and Robert Griffin III all think Donald will play this season, too.
LeSean McCoy: “You know Aaron Donald’s one of my best friends. I can’t tell you everything, but I’ll tell you this much: He’s thinking about it. That’s all I can give you.”

IBF welterweight champion Lewis Crocker says he is "looking forward to showing my new and improved self" when he makes the first defence of his ***** le against Liam Paro in Brisbane on 24 June.
The Belfast man won the belt with a points win over Paddy Donovan at Windsor Park last September, but has since parted ways with coach Billy Nelson to team up with Huzaifah Iqbal.
While Nelson helped him realise a lifetime ambition last year, the defending champion feels he was getting a little "too comfortable" under his former coach and needed to change it up.
Despite the switch from Scotland to London, Crocker feels he is right at home and the decision to make the change will pay off when he takes on the former IBF light-welterweight champion at the Pat Rafter Arena.
"I just felt there was certain stuff I could be better at and the way I am now, it's all worked out," explained the 29-year-old, who has won all 22 of his professional contests.

Rangers 3, Guardians 2
A win, that was.
That was a win.
Kumar Rocker started the game by giving up a homer to Travis Bazzana, because that’s sort of the Rangers’ thing now, giving up homers in the first inning, particularly to the leadoff batter.
After that things went relatively smoothly for Rocker, though. He allowed another run in the fourth, and appeared primed to give up another run in the fifth when Bazzana tripled to lead off the inning, but Rocker worked out of that situation without allowing Bazzana to score.

Leave it to Miley Cyrus to make a little black dress look anything but ordinary. "The Climb" singer recently turned a rather classic silhouette into a full-blown fashion statement. This happened when Cyrus stepped out in a striking Hermès leather micro minidress that delivered surprises from every angle. While the front exuded understated elegance, the daring lace-up back ensured all eyes stayed firmly on Cyrus throughout the event. She not only stole the spotlight but totally owned it with her confidence and charm. Even her beauty choices were on point for this occasion.
Miley Cyrus once again proved that ***** ody does edgy luxury quite like her. The "Best of Both Worlds" singer rocked in a sleek black Hermès leather micro minidress. This statement-worthy piece blended minimalist sophistication with rockstar attitude and a lot of sass. From the front, Cyrus' latest look appeared deceptively simple, featuring a sleeveless high neckline, a fitted silhouette, and a subtle metallic waist detail that added some finesse.
However, the real head-turning part was saved for the back, where an intricate lace-up design revealed flashes of skin and transformed the dress into a daring fashion moment worth truly cherishing. This made it clear that Cyrus' overall look was part of a recent string of leather-heavy Hermès ensembles she has visibly embraced, further cementing her love for sleek choices and mesmerizing monochromatic picks.
Styled with pointed knee-high leather boots, smoky eye makeup, and her Hannah Montana-coded signature tousled blonde hair, Cyrus actually gave the polished Hermès piece a rebellious edge. The lace-up back added just the right amount of drama, creating a striking contrast against the dress' otherwise clean lines. Her tattooed arms and effortless confidence only amplified the ensemble's rocker-chic energy, elevating it to the next level. Even her fabulous makeup, with bold eyes, worked perfectly.
