Philon and Lendeborg were filmed playing in some pickup runs in Pennsauken, NJ. Lendeborg went to Pennsauken High School before heading off to college. Lendeborg's Michigan Wolverines knocked off Philon's Alabama Crimson Tide in the Sweet 16 by a score of 90-77. Philon did score 35 points in the matchup.
While Philon waited to hear his name called until No. 22 with the Sixers, Lendeborg was selected by the Warriors at No. 11. It will be interesting to see when the first real NBA matchup between the two will be when the league releases the schedule.

Former New York Giants defensive tackle DJ Davidson has retired from the NFL.
The announcement, such as it is, came courtesy of the NFL's transaction wire when the Washington Commanders placed Davidson on the reserve/retired list.
The Giants originally drafted Davidson out of Arizona State in the fifth round (147th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft. He only played five games for the Giants as a rookie, suffering a torn ACL in the Giants win over the Green Bay Packers that year.
The 6-foot-5, 320 pound Davidson was primarily a rotational nose tackle and special teams player for the Giants, appearing in 47 games with 4 starts in his four years as a Giant. The highlight of his career came in the Giants' game against the Seattle Seahawks in 2024, when he sacked Seahawks' QB Geno Smith twice in the Giants' 29-20 win.
Davidson signed a 1-year, $1.32 million contract with the Commanders back on April 1st, though only $20,000 of which was guaranteed. He finishes his career with 46 total tackles, 4.0 for a loss, and 2.5 sacks.

Head coach Ben Johnson seems locked in with Garrett Bradbury as his starting center, but when asked on Thursday morning if the play of Braxton Jones, who has taken the bulk of the left tackle reps, has hm ready to name a starter, he said this.
"We we're hoping maybe middle of next week we'll have a lot of clarity there. We're going to continue to roll guys through. You know, Kiran's [Amegadjie] certainly taking some reps over there, Jedric [Wills Jr.], Theo's [Benedet] in the mix. This is not a done deal by any stretch of the imagination."
