WEST LAFAYETTE − Purdue football's expanding 2027 class includes wrestling an offensive lineman away from a Big 12 program.
Mount Carmel (Chicago) product Chase Clark was committed to Oklahoma State but has flipped his verbal commitment to Purdue, first reported by Greg Smith of Rivals.
Clark, listed on Mount Carmel's roster at 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, is a three-star recruit who also has an offer from Oregon State and 19 other non-Power 4 programs.
It continues the Boilermakers' emphasis of revamping the offensive line under new position coach Zach Crabtree.

Penn State men’s basketball received another roster boost with a commitment from St. Bonaventure transfer Dasonte Bowen earlier today:
NEWS: St. Bonaventure transfer guard Dasonte Bowen has committed to Penn State, his agent CJ Ward of LIFTSPORTSMNGMT told On3.
The 6-2 senior, who has been granted a fifth year of eligibility according to Ward, averaged 10.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.8 ***** ists per game this… pic.twitter.com/3i7NnErJp3
— Joe Tipton (JoeTipton) June 17, 2026
A point guard, Bowen began his college career at Iowa before transferring to St. Bonaventure for the 2024-25 season. He put together two very solid seasons for the Bonnies and led the team in ***** ists in 2025-26. The NCAA granted him a fifth season of eligibility after his 2024-25 season was limited to just 10 games due to injury. With longtime Bonnies head coach Mark Schmidt retiring, Bowen has decided to join Penn State for his final season of eligibility.
Bowen shot just 41% from the floor last season , though his ***** ist rate was 10th in the Atlantic 10. This looks like a decent pickup for Penn State, but we will see if he readjusts to the level of competition in the Big Ten after making just nine starts in his two seasons at Iowa. He is not the first St. Bonaventure player to transfer to Penn State. Izaiah Brockington joined the Nittany Lions from the Bonnies in 2018.

Maryland made the first move in Jayden Agberodiola‘s recruitment, and in the end, it made the biggest one.
The 6-foot-3, 340-pound defensive lineman from Rockvale (Tenn.) picked up his first offer on Jan. 26, and it was from Maryland. Less that five months later, after an official visit to College Park, Agberodiola has committed to Mike Locksley and the Terps.
The three-star chose Maryland over Arkansas, Boston College and USF, giving the Terps another massive addition in the trenches.
“They just recruited me very consistently and hard, especially once they realized how much potential I had and how I fit in their defensive scheme,” Agberodiola told Rivals.

Lane Kiffin and his LSU staff know that there are diamonds under their nose in Louisiana, and the Tigers appear to have secured one of them for their 2027 recruiting class.
Four-star running back Trey Martin has committed to the program, as reported by the Lafayette Daily Advertiser. The Winnsboro native picked LSU over the likes of SEC rivals Florida and Ole Miss.
Martin was a one-man show during his junior year at Franklin Parish High School, when he rushed for 1,587 yards and scored a whopping 31 total touchdowns.
LSU has kept tabs on Martin for a little while, as the ballcarrier visited Baton Rouge in January.
Martin is the second class of 2027 running back LSU has secured in as many days. Fellow four-star running back Tre Segarra committed to the Tigers on June 16.

MLB **** yst puts pressure on this Orioles slugger to live up to expectations originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
As a high school baseball player in Oklahoma, Jackson Holliday was quite popular. He was one of the best players in all of high school and was a top prospect for the 2022 draft class.
He committed to play college ball at the University of Oklahoma, but after getting selected first overall by the Baltimore Orioles, he would forego his commitment and go pro.
The young slugger would go on to fly through the minors. He would make his MLB debut on April 10, 2024, and while he has been exciting, some were hoping for a little bit more.

Roker Report is saddened to learn of the passing of former Sunderland midfielder Eric Roy following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
News of Roy’s death will be met with sadness by many Sunderland supporters who remember him as part of one of the club’s most successful sides of the modern era, a team that not only secured its place in the Premier League but did so with a swagger and confidence that remains fondly remembered on Wearside.
Signed by Peter Reid in the summer of 1999 from Olympique Marseille for a fee of £275,000, Roy arrived at the Stadium of Light ahead of Sunderland’s first season back in the top flight following promotion from the First Division. In a somewhat unusual introduction to English football, the Frenchman actually appeared for the club during Kevin Ball’s testimonial against Sampdoria before putting pen to paper, giving supporters an early glimpse of the tenacious midfielder who would soon become a familiar face in red and white.
The 1999-2000 campaign would go down as one of the finest seasons Sunderland fans have witnessed in recent decades. Defying expectations, Reid’s side stormed to a remarkable seventh-place finish in the Premier League, playing exciting, attacking football and earning admiration throughout the country. Roy was an important member of a fiercely competitive midfield unit that also featured the likes of Alex Rae, Stefan Schwarz and Gavin McCann, providing steel, discipline and work ethic whenever called upon.
Although he was never the most glamorous player in the squad, Roy embodied many of the qualities Sunderland supporters have always appreciated. Tough in the tackle, committed in the challenge and willing to do the dirty work for the benefit of the team, he quickly earned a reputation as a wholehearted competitor who never shirked responsibility.

Southern Miss baseball picked up its fourth transfer commitment since the season ended, landing former Florida and Northwest Florida State College catcher and outfielder Brock Clayton.
"See you in Hattiesburg," Clayton wrote June 17 on social media.
Clayton, a 6-foot-3, 215-pound redshirt sophomore, was originally committed to South Carolina, but reopened his recruitment on June 12, one day after the Gamecocks hired former Coastal Carolina coach Kevin Schnall to take over the program.
After redshirt season at Florida, Clayton transferred to Northwest Florida State College, a junior college in Niceville, Florida. There, the lefty played in 49 games and had a batting average of .353. He hit nine home runs, 42 RBIs and stole eight bases.
On April 18 against Gulf Coast State College, Clayton went 4-for-4, hit two home runs, drove in six runs and stole two bases.

The collective announcement that the USGA and R&A would be working on new ideas in collaboration with the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour to find solutions to slow the rate of distance increases at the elite level of the game reopened the question of where the rollback stands. While the ruling bodies are committed to implementing a change to the distance golf ***** fly beginning in 2030, Wednesday’s announcement suggests we are a long way from clarity. Here are some questions and answers.
Is the rollback dead? The ruling bodies have been talking about the distance issue since the Joint Statement of Principles was released more than two decades ago. Since that announcement 24 years ago, driving distance on the PGA Tour has increased nearly 25 yards. In short, for various reasons, they’ve delayed and deferred and studied without coming to a significant decision about a rollback until late 2023 when they announced the rollback to the Overall Distance Standard test. The USGA and R&A were initially firm in implementing the rollback in two stages, for elite players in 2028 and then all of golf in 2030. Now, they plan on implementing the ball change universally in 2030. But in the same breadth, Wednesday’s announcement suggests they are collaborating with the pro tours on alternatives to stop distance increases and studying concerns that “the updated ODS testing approach may not achieve the desired results.” So, the rulemakers are firm that something is going to happen by 2030, but also saying there’s urgency to re-open the study of the problem. The more nothing is decided collectively, the more nothing is done. Maybe a rollback happens, but it seems like it's going to take a lot more late-stage negotiating on a topic that 24 hours ago seemed to be settled.
Is 2030 a reasonable date? It seems like manufacturers have to start all over again.Difficult to tell. If there is a significant shift in the Overall Distance Standard, it’s tight. Manufacturers have been working on rolled-back designs for a decade or more. However, more recently their focus has been on designs that meet the new standard. Anything significantly altering that will take time.
It sounds like the USGA and R&A are no longer driving the bus when it comes to these kinds of rule changes. It’s reasonable to believe two things here: One, the PGA Tour wants to be involved more. Two, the PGA Tour doesn’t want the headache of policing equipment rules. While the professional tours and the PGA of America have long been part of the discussions when rules are being proposed, they are not making the rules, they are abiding by them. Based on many of Wednesday’s comments, the feelings about the status of distance at the elite level seem to be shared across the tours and the rulemakers. What’s not shared is what needs to be done or can be done, and indeed, what’s good for the business of the game. It seems the PGA Tour holds all the cards in this issue and its players will be more involved in how the r

Barring a blow from the MLB Draft, Arkansas baseball has its shortstop for the 2026 season.
Santa Clara transfer Ben Cleary committed to the Razorbacks on Wednesday, June 17. He is the third infielder to join the Hogs this offseason, following in the footsteps of Wills Maginnis (Georgia State) and Dawson Bryce (Charlotte).
All three of those players are eligible for the draft next month.
Maginnis and Bryce have primarily served as corner infielders across their collegiate careers. Cleary just wrapped up a sensational junior season at Santa Clara as the everyday shortstop.
He slashed .358/.452/.500 with five homers, 39 runs and 30 RBIs in 2026. He drew 24 walks and only had 24 strikeouts. The even walk-to-strikeout ratio is always attractive to Dave Van Horn and his staff when they evaluate players out of the portal. Across his three collegiate seasons, Cleary has 70 walks and 65 strikeouts.

Auburn baseball has reeled in its second pitcher from the transfer portal.
Former Arizona right-handed pitcher Corey Kling shared on Wednesday on his Instagram account that he has committed to Auburn after spending one season in Tucson.
Kling was a quality reliever for the Arizona Wildcats last season. He tossed 40 innings over 20 games, striking out 43 batters and walking just nine. He tossed a season-high 3 2/3 innings of relief work twice over his final three games, striking out a season-best five batters in his outing against Houston on May 8.
The 2026 season was the only season Kling spent in Arizona. The Delray Beach, Florida, native spent his first two seasons at USF, where he made 21 appearances and struck out 25 batters while walking 12 over 38 2/3 innings.
Kling joins former South Alabama pitcher Zach Stevens by transferring to Auburn this offseason. The duo will be part of a depth-building offseason as four pieces of the pitching staff have entered the transfer portal.

LSU‘s recruiting hot streak hit a daily double on Wednesday as the Tigers continue to rack up big-time commitments.
Four-star running back Trey Martin got things started with his announcement for the Bayou Bengals, followed by four-star edge rusher Chris Whitehead telling Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett he has also committed to the Tigers.
A top-50 prospect nationally, Whitehead was coveted from coast-to-coast with offers from Ohio State, Penn State, South Carolina and dozens of other programs. He was set to officially visit the Buckeyes this weekend, but instead put his name on the commitment list for Lane Kiffin and Co.
Whitehead visited Baton Rouge back in April, then returned Tuesday for another unofficial visit with his family.
“What stands out the most is what Lane Kiffin is building down there,” Whitehead’s father told Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong prior to the trip. “I think he’s building a powerhouse.”

Vistra Corp. (NYSE:VST) is one of the undervalued infrastructure stocks to buy now. Vistra's selection as the preferred power provider for a $10 billion KKR-backed AI infrastructure venture underscores its growing role in powering the AI economy.
On June 11, 2026, a KKR-led group launched Helix Digital Infrastructure, a new company backed by more than $10 billion in committed capital aimed at financing AI infrastructure build-out.
Vistra is an anchor investor in the venture and has been named Helix's preferred power provider, positioning it alongside Nvidia, which will contribute AI data-center design expertise, and the Kuwait Investment Authority. Helix is led by former Amazon Web Services CEO Adam Selipsky, who stepped down from that role in May 2024 after reportedly doubling AWS's sales and operating profit since 2021.
The launch reflects a broader push by private capital into AI infrastructure as surging U.S. data-center construction strains power supply and tightens electronics components. KKR's infrastructure platform manages over $100 billion in **** ets, including more than $70 billion across digital and power. Helix can bring in additional institutional investors once founding commitments close.
That backdrop gave added weight to an earlier **** yst move. On May 21, 2026, Morgan Stanley raised its price target on Vistra to $212 from $208, keeping an "Overweight" rating, as part of a broader update to North American Regulated and Diversified Utilities and IPP price targets. The firm noted utilities underperformed the S&P 500 that month.

The Federal Reserve is widely expected to hold interest rates steady in the range of 3.5%-3.75% at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday at the conclusion of its two-day policy meeting. The decision comes at a pivotal time for the Fed and central banks around the world.
The June meeting, which kicked off Tuesday, is Kevin Warsh's first as the central bank's chairman. Warsh has suggested he will adopt a different governing approach from former Fed Chair Jerome Powell and aims to emulate former Fed Chair Alan Greenspan. Notably, Warsh has not committed to holding press conferences after every policy meeting, a practice Powell instituted, though the Fed confirmed there will be a press conference on Wednesday.
The central bank will also issue its Summary of Economic Projections and the highly anticipated "dot plot," providing markets with insight into how FOMC members view the direction of monetary policy for the remainder of the year. The latest dot plot, released after the March meeting, showed Fed officials forecast just one rate cut in 2026.
Market watchers will be scrutinizing Warsh to better understand his views, while also watching for ongoing signs of division at the Fed as the global energy shock from the war in Iran drives higher inflation and growth risks, putting new pressure on the central bank.
Economists' views on the economy and Fed interest rate policy are divided as they mull several colliding factors, including ongoing tensions between the US and Iran, an artificial intelligence spending boom, an unsettled tariff policy environment, and a new Fed chair.

Who is Colorado State football's top all-time recruit?
How many of CSU's top-25 recruits actually made big on-field impacts? How many are Jim Mora recruits before he's coached his first game as a Ram?
The Coloradoan's annual look at CSU's top 25 all-time football recruits is fascinating. Perhaps most notable for the 2026 edition is the Mora impact.
Seven of the top 25 either signed under Mora in the 2026 class or are committed to the Rams as part of the 2027 class.
Recruiting rankings really began in the early 2000s, so this isn’t a true all-time list. Recruiting has changed drastically, and some of CSU’s all-time great recruits came before the era of rankings.

Over the last year, Real Madrid defender Raul Asencio has been under investigation by the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the Canary Islands. The 23-year-old, as well as three former teammates from La Fabrica, is accused of having disseminated a ******* tape involving two women – one of them a minor – in Gran Canaria in the summer of 2023, but his involvement in the case could be about to end.
Previously, the Public Prosecutor’s Office had asked for a prison sentence of 2.5 years for Asencio over his alleged role in the incident, but according to Marca, this request could now be withdrawn. Mercedes Gil Castillo, who is leading the prosecution’s case, is prepared to let the Real Madrid man go, on the condition that he apologises in the trial to the two women who appear in the images.
Asencio has denied that he committed the crime of dissemination, which is why the Public Prosecutor’s Office has asked that he attends the trial in order to apologise to the two alleged victims. If he does so, the complaint against him will be withdrawn.

As per the report, Asencio sent a letter to the two alleged victims last year, in which he acknowledged that he made a mistake in showing the ******* tape to one of his friends. Gil Castillo was made aware of this, and while the women have accepted the private apology, the Public Prosecutor’s Office is asking for an apology in open court in order for the Real Madrid defender’s alleged involvement to be disregarded.

DUBAI, June 16 (Reuters) - A $300 billion private fund designed to trigger investment into Iran is outlined in the U.S.-Iran framework agreement and more than half that sum has already been committed, a source with direct knowledge of the deal told Reuters.
The fund is designed to give both sides an economic incentive to conclude a final deal to end the war, said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the plan has not yet been announced as Washington and Tehran prepare to sign on Friday.
The fund's existence has been previously reported but Reuters is revealing for the first time that more than half of the amount has already been committed and that it will be comprised entirely of private-sector funds.
U.S. and Iranian officials said on Sunday they had agreed on a framework to end their war, which began when U.S. and Israeli forces attacked Iran on February 28, halt the U.S. blockade of Iran and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a key supply route for global oil and gas.

A detransitioner who underwent a double mastectomy as a teenager is publicly confronting the surgeon who performed the procedure, accusing him in an open letter of removing her healthy ******* without adequately addressing the underlying causes of her distress.
Claire Abernathy's Thursday letter to plastic surgeon Dr. Alan Dulin details her regret over the surgery and describes the physical and emotional toll she continues to experience years later.
"You took advantage of a little girl's confusion and a family's trust to perform an unnecessary, disfiguring surgery on a child who was barely through ******* rty," Abernathy wrote. "You committed an act of violence that I have to wear on my skin for the rest of my life."
I Was A Child And Believed Gender Transition Would Heal My Pain. It Became A New Trauma
In a recent op-ed for Fox News, Abernathy wrote that she was put on testosterone at 14 years old and that eight months later, surgeons performed a double mastectomy on her.

"I'm supposed to work out a settlement with myself," President Donald Trump told reporters a few days after he sued the IRS. He wasn't kidding: His January 29 lawsuit, which alleged damages from an IRS contractor's illegal leaking of his tax returns, pitted Trump against an agency he oversees, represented by Justice Department lawyers who also answer to him.
The "settlement" that the president reached with himself, which Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche announced on May 18, included $1.8 billion in taxpayer money for purported victims of the Biden administration's "lawfare and weaponization." It also included protection from liability for tax violations and any other federal offenses that Trump or his family might have committed. That sweet deal was business as usual at the Justice Department, Trump's personal lawyers improbably claim in a brief they filed on Monday in the Southern District of Florida.
There is "no evidence" of "collusion or fraud" in Trump v. IRS, Alejandro Brito and two other lawyers told U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams, who last month ordered briefing on that issue. Any suggestion that Trump used a phony lawsuit as a pretext to obtain huge favors for himself, his relatives, and his supporters is based on "nothing but speculation," Trump's attorneys say.
Brito et al. glide over the glaring conflicts of interest created by a case in which both sides were represented by lawyers who worked for Trump. Further compromising the Justice Department's ability to defend the IRS, an executive order that Trump issued in February 2025 bars the government's lawyers from taking legal positions at odds with the president's.
That bizarre situation prompted Williams to question whether the case involved a genuine controversy between adverse parties, as required for the lawsuit to proceed. After Williams ordered briefing on that crucial issue by May 20, Trump avoided the need to address it by dropping his lawsuit two days before the deadline. But in response to a May 27 motion by 35 former federal judges, Williams is now mulling "whether the case should be reopened because the Court was the 'victim of a fraud.'"

Houston is ****** embling another star-studded recruiting class.
After a run of double-digit commitments to open the month, the Cougars landed another signature addition.
Four-star cornerback Kam Roberson committed to Houston on Tuesday, choosing to stay home over opportunities at Vanderbilt, Kentucky, TCU, and others.
Houston has been trending in the right direction with one of the nation’s top 2027 prospects out of Cy Springs for long stretches of his recruitment.
“I knew Houston was the choice when I saw how good Coach (Marcus) Trice is with development,” Roberson told Rivals. “His style fits me, and I know he can grow my game. Houston was also consistent from the day they offered me. They never switched up, and that showed me it was the right fit.”

Former FSU outfielder Addie Delong is headed home. She committed to and signed with the Ohio State Buckeyes on Tuesday, announcing the news on social media.
She spent two seasons at FSU and will reportedly have three seasons of eligibility after appearing in just one game in 2026 before suffering a season-ending injury. She played in 55 games as a true freshman in 2025, hitting .333 in 30 at-bats with one double, one triple, and two RBI. She stole six bases and was expected to have a bigger role in 2026 before her injury.
DeLong is ranked as the No. 33 overall player and No. 8 outfielder in the transfer portal by Softball America. She is from Mechanicsburg, Ohio, and was a four-star recruit in the 2024 recruiting class when she signed with FSU.
She is one of four FSU players to enter the transfer portal this offseason, and the first to find her new home. All-American infielders Isa Torres and Jaysoni Beachum are among the top players in the portal, with pitcher Mimi Gooden also looking for her next school after redshirting.

After another successful recruiting weekend, the Oklahoma Sooners are up to 25 total commitments in the 2027 recruiting class. OU currently has 13 pledges on offense, 12 pledges on defense, and zero pledges on special teams.
The Sooners earned commitments from WR Malahn Green, OL Jaxon Lawler, and DB Trenton Blaylock during their last major official visit weekend of the summer for the class. It was yet another strong performance on the trail from head coach Brent Venables and general manager Jim Nagy, who have been putting together quite the class so far.
While Oklahoma continues to be ranked highly in the '27 cycle, there's more to the story. When stacked up against the other 15 SEC teams, the Sooners are also bringing in a high number of blue-chip (4-and 5-star) recruits to the class as well.
According to Rivals, the Sooners have 12 blue-chip players committed at this time, which is good for third-best in the league, behind only Florida and Texas A&M. At 247Sports, OU's blue-chip number rises to 14, still good for third-best in the conference behind those two teams.
Most, if not all, championship teams in college football feature a certain threshold of blue-chippers, and Oklahoma has roughly half of their current haul that fits into that category at this time. Additionally, they're currently out-performing both Alabama and Georgia, who have combined to win the last six SEC **** les, and 11 of the last 12, when it comes to this metric.

The FSU Seminoles have already suffered multiple decommitments to their secondary in the 2027 recruiting cycle, and they are fighting to prevent another one. Three-star safety Jemari Foreman is the only defensive back committed to Florida State, but the Louisville Cardinals are pushing hard for a flip.
They were able to make some progress in those efforts this past weekend when they hosted him on an official visit.
"I took an official visit last week. It was good. I really liked it," Foreman told Tom Loy of 247Sports. "Louisville produces guys. They put guys in the league. They have a good history with defensive backs."
While they have made up some ground on FSU, the Seminoles have held his commitment since September of 2025 and will have a chance to retake the momentum this weekend when they host him on an official visit. He revealed that he will make a final decision shortly after his latest trip to Tallahassee.
"They are neck and neck right now," said Foreman. "I take my Florida State visit next week on the 19th, and I'll make a decision after that."

Algeria face defending champions Argentina in a daunting World Cup opener in Kansas City on Wednesday.
The Fennec Foxes return to the global stage after a lengthy 12-year absence. They hope to replicate their highly impressive run to the 2014 knockout rounds. Vladimir Petkovic has built a confident and defensively disciplined squad over recent months.
Algeria cruised through their CAF qualifying campaign with minimal trouble and immense attacking flair. They scored prolifically during qualification while maintaining excellent defensive solidity at the back. They hope to cause a major upset against the overwhelming tournament favourites on Wednesday. A positive result would put them in an excellent position within Group J.
Petkovic must manage without left-sided defender Ramy Bensebaini due to a frustrating injury. The defender continues to struggle with a lingering ankle problem ahead of kickoff. Samir Chergui expects to take his place in the starting eleven against Argentina.
Aissa Mandi will partner him in the heart of the resolute Algerian defence. Luca Zidane recently committed to Algeria and will start between the posts. Rayan Ait-Nouri and Youcef Belghali will operate as the starting full-backs.

The Sparks couldn't find their footing on the road Monday night, falling 78-58 to the Golden State Valkyries at Chase Center. Los Angeles came in looking to extend its own winning streak to three games and build on the best 7-6 start to a season since 2020, but a sluggish opening quarter put the team in a hole they could never dig out of.
First Quarter
It was a quiet start for this Sparks offense, going scoreless for the first four minutes before Kelsey Plum, who leads the league at 26.6 points per game, knocked down a three to get the team on the board. That shot was a reminder of what Plum can do from anywhere on the floor, but it wasn't enough to spark the group. The Valkyries, by contrast, were patient and deliberate, picking their spots and shooting better than 60% from the field. The lone highlight of the quarter for LA was Nneka Ogwumike reaching 7,500 career points, moving into fourth on the all-time scoring list.
Second Quarter
Cameron Brink set the tone for Los Angeles early, with a big block followed by back-to-back layups that accounted for almost all of her team's points to open the period. The Sparks bench tried to answer, with Rae Burrell making some athletic, high-energy plays, but turnovers kept getting in the way. LA finished the half with 8 turnovers, which the Valkyries turned into 12 points, while Golden State committed just 4. The Sparks also shot a cold 1-for-8 from three. With the offense unable to find any consistency, Golden State took a 45-26 lead.

Arkansas baseball's latest addition out of the transfer portal is a productive infielder from the Sun Belt Conference.
Wills Maginnis committed to the Razorbacks on Monday, June 15, according to a report from On3 Sports. He is the second infielder and the third position player to join Dave Van Horn's squad this offseason.
Maginnis just wrapped up his sophomore season at Georgia State. He tarted all 56 games, hitting .306 with eight homers, 42 RBIs and 13 doubles. He was named All-Sun Belt First Team.
Maginnis displayed a good eye at the plate with 31 walks and a .404 on-base percentage. He only had 36 strikeouts in 260 plate appearance and finished the season with 21 stolen bases.
The Atlanta native primarily played third base during the most recent spring, but he was Georgia State's starting first baseman as a freshman in 2025. He has positional versatility at both corner spots, and he is the second corner infielder to commit this month. Charlotte's Dawson Bryce announced his pledge to Arkansas on June 10.

Joshua Vilmael, a composite 4* defensive back out of Richmond, Texas, and William B. Travis High School, committed to the Kansas State coaching staff this morning.
Vilmael, listed at 6’2”, 185 pounds, is currently ranked as the 307th best player in the 2027 class, the 35th best cornerback, and the 44th best player coming out of Texas. Lansdale, Pennsylvania, offensive lineman Terrance Smith has committed to LSU. Smith chose the Tigers over Rutgers, Tennessee, and Auburn.
Smith is a 4-star offensive lineman who projects as a guard at the collegiate level. He is ranked as the No. 10 offensive lineman in the country and a Top-150 prospect overall.
Smith possesses good size and strength, along with the attitude you want to see from an offensive guard. He looks to get his hands on defenders and put them on their backs. He plays with a physical edge and consistently looks to drive defenders into the ground.
At 6’7″ and 290 pounds, Smith has the frame and athleticism to develop into a high-level offensive lineman. His relationship with offensive line coach Eric Wolford was a major factor in his recruitment.
Smith took his first official visit to LSU back in April and has been trending toward the Tigers ever since. Now that his commitment is official, he becomes another key addition to LSU’s 2027 class and the type of offensive lineman the staff hopes will help build the foundation of the program for years to come.

The Texas A&M Aggies have made another addition to their loaded 2027 recruiting class, securing a commitment from Australian punter Jamie Sidebottom, according to TexAgs.
Sidebottom officially visited the Aggies over the weekend and made his commitment on Monday. He is the second specialist that Mike Elko and Co. have landed in June, three-star kicker Andres von der Meden committed on June 8.
Texas A&M has the top-ranked recruiting class in the country, due to both its size and caliber of players. They have 22 commitments, the third most in the SEC, but their average player rating of 90.97 is the fifth-best in the country and the highest of any program with 20 or more commits.
Ten of their 22 commits are ranked among the top 10 players at their position, as the Aggies have done a great job of closing on their top targets. The class is headlined by offensive tackle Mark Matthews, safety Kamarui Dorsey, edge Zyron Forstallm, and interior offensive lineman Kennedy Brown, who are all five-star prospects.
