Auburn baseball has reeled in its second pitcher from the transfer portal.
Former Arizona right-handed pitcher Corey Kling shared on Wednesday on his Instagram account that he has committed to Auburn after spending one season in Tucson.
Kling was a quality reliever for the Arizona Wildcats last season. He tossed 40 innings over 20 games, striking out 43 batters and walking just nine. He tossed a season-high 3 2/3 innings of relief work twice over his final three games, striking out a season-best five batters in his outing against Houston on May 8.
The 2026 season was the only season Kling spent in Arizona. The Delray Beach, Florida, native spent his first two seasons at USF, where he made 21 appearances and struck out 25 batters while walking 12 over 38 2/3 innings.
Kling joins former South Alabama pitcher Zach Stevens by transferring to Auburn this offseason. The duo will be part of a depth-building offseason as four pieces of the pitching staff have entered the transfer portal.
