Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce seem to already be having issues with their new neighbors.
Earlier this year, it was reported by the Wall Street Journal that Kelce, 37, purchased a $5.35 million lakefront estate in Ohio, and now home renovations are underway.
The Daily Mail reported on Thursday, October 8, that a planning board meeting was held last month in the village of Bratenahl, just outside Cleveland, and a six-foot fence was unanimously approved despite some objections from those living close by, according to records.
A neighbor by the name of Katherine Bolton reportedly told the Architectural Review Board that Kelce's new purchase was a "tremendous blow" to "the peace and quiet in Bratenahl."
"There's a new owner, who is an absentee owner, who is not going to be here," she said, according to a record of the hearing obtained by the Mail. (The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and pop star, 36, weren't named.)

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's plans for a more private Ohio retreat have run into some very public objections. Neighbors of the $5.35 million Lake Erie estate are challenging proposed landscaping and fencing, raising concerns about a shared sewer line, wildlife, and how the changes could affect their longtime homes.
A six-foot fence has already received approval, but parts of the landscaping remain unresolved. The property's representatives, meanwhile, say they have adjusted the plans, paid for sewer repairs and added gates to accommodate residents.

According to the Daily Mail, the dispute centers on an estate in Bratenahl, a village outside Cleveland. Property records cited by the outlet show that an LLC linked to Kelce purchased the mansion in March. The 21,000-square-foot property features eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and a two-bedroom guest cottage. Built in 1895, it also has a former ballroom converted into a game room and home theater.
But proposed changes to the grounds have become a sticking point with nearby residents. Katherine Bolton, who has lived next door for 35 years, described news of the new owners as a "tremendous blow" to "the peace and quiet in Bratenahl."

Getting Shedeur Sanders' attention is one thing. Getting invited into his inner circle requires considerably more patience.
The Cleveland Browns quarterback opened up about dating in a new Cosmopolitan interview, explaining why he's careful about relationships. Growing up with the Sanders name has given him plenty of experience with attention, including the kind he would prefer to keep at a distance.
Sanders made his priorities clear when discussing the prospect of bringing a partner into his life.
"I protect my family, and I protect who I love,"Sanders told Cosmopolitan. "I'm extremely picky with who comes around."
He explained that interest in the lifestyle surrounding an NFL player can complicate dating. Being Deion Sanders' son adds another consideration for anyone entering that world.

Kate Middleton is said to be people's favorite, but she might not be able to outshine one royal family member. According to a royal expert, the Princess of Wales has her own unique ways of handling situations compared to the late Princess Diana. It was said that Prince William's mother had raised the bar too high when it came to charity work and fashion. Hence, Middleton has been compared to her mother-in-law several times.
Kate Middleton could reportedly be under "pressure" because of the late Princess Diana's legacy in the royal family. Royal Expert Ingrid Seward talked about her new book, "Catherine & Diana: The Inside Story of how the Princesses of Wales Shaped the Modern Monarchy," with The Royal Observer. She opened up about her thoughts on the Princess of Wales's similarities and differences with Diana.
Seward believes that the former Princess of Wales' legacy might put "pressure" on Middleton's role in the monarchy. Whether it's about fashion or charity projects, Diana had caught attention every time. During the conversation on "Palace Unfiltered," Seward agreed with the journalist, claiming Middleton's role was the "most pressurized."
"It is a really pressurized, or it's become, let's say, a really pressurized position, and I think that is because of the glamour that Diana gave to this role, and no one's ever outshone her." Furthermore, the expert noted that Middleton has, however, never tried to overshadow her mother-in-law. She reportedly once said that she would "make the role my own."
"And what Catherine's been so clever to do is she's just been different. She hasn't tried to outshine her," the author said. Moreover, Seward addressed Middleton's fashion sense, which also seemed to have often drawn attention.

It reportedly didn't take Taylor Swift long to replace former BFF Blake Lively. The global pop star has recently been flaunting her friendship with actress Dakota Johnson, which Hollywood insider Rob Shuter is claiming has been "torture" for Lively.
Swift and Johnson appeared together at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 27, where the Verity star presented the "Cleveland!" singer with the inaugural Artist Director Honors award. Johnson then hosted the October 3 episode of Saturday Night Live, and Swift crashed her monologue, jokingly appearing as her "literal therapist."

Kylie Jenner showed her playful mom trick to wake her kids in the "Day in the Life" vlog. She shared a video on her YouTube page, giving a glimpse of how she spends a day from morning to night. It started with waking her two kids — Stormi (8) and Aire (4) — using a clever parenting hack. This definitely seemed to work, as the two children were stirring in no time.
Kylie Jenner's "Day in the Life" vlog showed her using a clever mom trick to wake her kids as part of their morning routine. On her YouTube page, the socialite shared a video of her day with her fans. In it, she recorded herself from morning to night, sharing a glimpse of her daily routine and fun activities.
The 10-minute and 19-second clip started with Jenner holding a black megaphone. She was still under the blanket on her huge bed. Her slightly puffed face showed that she had just woken up as well. While the mother of two was on one end of the bed, her daughter Stormi was on the other side. Initially, Jenner's voice cracked while saying "Good Morning" using the megaphone. It made her burst into laughter.
Then, she composed herself and tried again— louder and clearer. "Good morning, Stormi! Rise and Shine! It's a beautiful day. You are healthy, you are beautiful, you're smart. And we're going to conquer the day. Get up," Jenner woke her daughter up in a ****** se voice. Meanwhile, Stormi stirred in her sleep and tried not to wake up, but failed.
Furthermore, Jenner used the same trick with her son, Aire. She playfully sang, "Rise and Shine. Good morning, stinky ****** ." Then, she snuggled into her kid and showered him with kisses to wake him up with more love and care. Later, Jenner set her daughter's hair before the 8-year-old left for school.

31-year-old quarterback Deshaun Watson's five-year, $230 million fully guaranteed contract with the Cleveland Browns is on track to going down as one of the worst contracts in sports history.
Watson's wife, Jilly Anais, certainly isn't complaining. It opened the door for her to receive an absolutely massive wedding ring, which she showed off in an Instagram post before the Browns' Thursday Night Football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jilly Anais Watson (who has worked as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model) posted photos of her at the Browns' most recent home game, where she was wearing Watson's jersey, light blue jeans, a brown bag, and a huge rock on her ring finger.

A housing market crash happens when home values plummet due to a lack of demand for or an oversupply of homes. The factors leading to a housing market crash are varied, ranging from economic recessions to high mortgage rates that make it less affordable to buy a home. A housing crash can have upsides (low home prices) and downsides (losing built-up equity and tighter finances).

Steel and materials markets fluctuated between rallies and pullbacks as the US-Canada trade relationship shifted from near agreement to open dispute. Nucor Corporation (NYSE:NUE) and Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE:CLF) rose on August 25, after discussions between the two countries broke down, a turnaround from the week before, when several of the same stocks fell on hopes that a new deal would decrease steel and aluminum tariffs. The VanEck Steel ETF gained 1.6% on the day, while the State Street Materials Select Sector SPDR reached an intraday high. The rise didn't last: by the end of the week, the materials ETF had slipped to negative territory, while the steel ETF was about flat, though, both remain substantially up for 2026.
The volatility traces a rapid escalation. On August 19, Bloomberg reported that the US and Canada had tentatively agreed to reduce tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum to 25% and vehicle charges to 15%. That optimism was dashed within days: on August 22, the US imposed 50% tariffs on a wide variety of Canadian exports, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney responded by declaring Canada officially "at war" with the United States, saying "You're at war when you're attacked, and we got attacked."
On August 25, Ottawa announced counter-tariffs of C$27.6 billion on American goods, which took effect on September 8 at rates ranging from 15% to 50%. The dispute has continued to escalate since then, with Washington announcing additional restrictions and tariffs on Canadian goods in September, reinforcing the view that a quick resolution remains unlikely.
Atsi Sheth, Moody's chief credit officer, put it bluntly: "Expect much more of this uncertainty for some time to come." Investors initially welcomed tariffs as good news for US steelmakers facing less Canadian competition, but the back-and-forth negotiations, as well as Canada's reaction, have made predicting a steady outcome difficult.
The more intriguing story is how differently the aforementioned companies are positioned. Nucor Corporation (NYSE:NUE) relies primarily on scrap-based electric arc furnace steelmaking, while Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE:CLF) operates a vertically integrated model with internally sourced iron ore, scrap and other raw materials. Both have meaningful domestic raw-material exposure, although their production models differ substantially. Nucor Corporation (NYSE:NUE) is up more than 50% year-to-date, while Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. (NYSE:CLF), despite similar structural insulation, remains negative for 2026, which **** ysts attribute to balance sheet stress rather than tariffs.

CLEVELAND (AP) — Tristan Peters fouled off 12 pitches in an 18-pitch at-bat that keyed Chicago's six-run outburst in the sixth inning and the White Sox beat the Cleveland Guardians 7-3 on Monday night to stay atop the AL Central.
Kyle Teel hit a two-run double and Miguel Vargas connected for a two-run homer following Peters' lengthy plate appearance — the longest in MLB this season, and tied for the third longest since 2000.
The White Sox, who lost 102 games and finished last in 2025, won the opener of the showdown series to push their lead over the Guardians to 1 1/2 games. Chicago has led the division since July 4.
Sean Burke (9-7) didn't allow an earned run in five innings and Chicago's bullpen kept the Guardians in check as the White Sox improved to 7-4 against Cleveland to clinch the season series and tiebreaker.
The Guardians altered their rotation so Gavin Williams (13-8) could start the opener, and the right-hander gave them five solid innings. They needed six.

"The MVP of the regular season has more weight than a championship," said McGrady on Cousins with Vince Carter & Tracy McGrady podcast.
This comment was not taken lightly by Iman Shumpert, who has an NBA championship to his name, winning it with the Cleveland Cavaliers as part of their 2016 team.

The Cleveland Browns were unable to overcome the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week One of the 2026-27 NFL season, 34-10.
Cleveland's disastrous performance on Sunday afternoon fell on the hands of the offense, as the unit failed to consistently move the ball downfield. This unfortunately forced the defense into brutal field position for most of the contest, which led to Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence's incredible four-touchdown performance.
During his opening remarks to the media following the loss, head coach Todd Monken told reporters that the Browns "didn't execute on the road" the way they expected to this past weekend.
"We didn't execute on the road the way we expected," Monken claimed. "Without really seeing the tape, the obvious issues came in operation, and a couple delay of games and false starts that we thought we cleaned up, but obviously we didn't."
One of the most pressing issues for the Browns' offense on Sunday was the simple line-of-scrimmage operations that Monken stressed for most of the offseason.

Cleveland Browns fans are used to their team stumbling out of the gate and not playing well in season openers.
However, Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars sparked anger and disappointment for several reasons, chief among them Deshaun Watson's role as starting quarterback.
For those wondering if Todd Monken would turn to Shedeur Sanders for Week 2 at Tampa Bay, the first-year coach said Monday: "I anticipate Deshaun will be our starter."
"It's only been two weeks, he's gotten all the reps, and there were some really good things on film, some things that you can build on," Monken said.
"I liked his week of practice last week, and I think he's only going to continue to get better."

Win or lose, any football game is sure to include some standout individual performances.
Luckily for us, the Jacksonville Jaguars obliterated the Cleveland Browns in Week 1, and there are plenty of game ****** to pass around.
Trevor Lawrence threw 4 touchdowns; Parker Washington had the coolest one of them; Foye Oluokun logged an interception and another pass breakup; Ventrell Miller had a team-high 9 tackles plus a sack and a forced fumble; and Josh Hines-Allen stuffed the stat sheet with 5 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery (on different plays!).
After the final whistle, we asked Jaguars fans to pick Big Cat Country's Player of the Week.
81% of voters chose Trevor Lawrence.

White Sox's postseason hopes might rely on two breakout pitchers originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Chicago White Sox are 76-73 entering play on Monday, September 14. They're just 0.5 games up on the Cleveland Guardians and fittingly begin a series against their division rivals in Cleveland to get the week started.
If they struggle during this series, not only could the White Sox lose their AL Central lead, but they might even drop out of the postseason field entirely. This is a pivotal series, and the end of the season is still very important to Chicago.
One AL scout told ESPN's Jesse Rogers that the White Sox can be a "sleeper" postseason team if two pitchers can perform at a high level.
"If the White Sox can get just a little starting pitching, they could still make some noise," an AL scout told Rogers. "They have a bullpen. That's always a need in the playoffs. And they can hit home runs. They just haven't lately. I like them as a sleeper, **** uming [Davis] Martin or [Sean] Burke are good."

The Jacksonville Jaguars received a scare involving one of their most important offensive players during Sunday's NFL Week 1 win over the Cleveland Browns. Brian Thomas Jr. left the game in the second quarter with a shoulder injury and initially was listed as questionable to return, creating immediate concern for a Jacksonville offense that had already jumped out to a big lead.
Fortunately, the latest update is much more encouraging than it initially appeared, and the Jaguars came away with a 34-10 victory over Cleveland.

The entire AFC North began the season with a win to get to 1-0.
Well, everyone except for the Cleveland Browns.
While the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Baltimore Ravens all left Week 1 with a win, the Browns were the victims of a 34-10 beatdown at the hand of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Deshaun Watson threw an interception on the game's fifth play, and Trevor Lawrence threw four touchdowns over the span of the metaphorical spanking the Jaguars gave Cleveland.
On Football Night In America, former Steelers head coach took a jab at the Browns following the lopsided loss.

Deshaun Watson will start again in Week 2.
Cleveland Browns head coach Todd Monken told reporters Monday that Watson will retain his job as starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Watson's status was unclear following a 34-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in which Watson threw an interception on Cleveland's opening possession and the Browns didn't score a touchdown until the game was long decided with less than two minutes remaining.
This story will be updated.

After briefly exiting Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars' head coach Liam Coen fully expects wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. to be available in Week 2 against Denver -- although he may be limited during the week of upcoming practices.
"I fully imagine him being able to play this game," Coen said on Monday. "No issues, just might not be able to get hit throughout the week or something."
Thomas Jr. left the Jaguars' Week 1 win in the first half with a shoulder injury. He was initially questionable to return, but did go back into the game.
Thomas Jr. finished the game with three receptions for 40 yards.
He also sustained a shoulder injury in the Jaguars' first joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Whether or not that injury and the current one are related has not been reported.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin knows as much as anybody of the Cleveland Browns' long-spanning futility, and he put that past to good work on Sunday while roasting Cleveland.
Tomlin trolled Cleveland after the team's rotten season debut against the Jacksonville Jaguars, quoting a former Steelers player to sum up the franchise's misfortunes.
"In the words of my friend JuJu Smith-Schuster, the Browns is the Browns," Tomlin quipped during a Sunday NBC Sports segment.
Okay, that's pretty funny. Tomlin's first season on the sideline has gone extraordinarily well so far, and moments like this will only increase the odds he stays in NFL broadcasting for the long haul.
If you're a Cleveland fan, we're sorry for this. Maybe brighter days are ahead... eventually.

If you look at Deshaun Watson's final numbers from Cleveland's 34-10 loss to Jacksonville on Sunday, you might be able to talk yourself into some positives.
After all, Watson was 16-of-22 for 205 yards with a touchdown and an interception — good for 9.3 yards per attempt and a 97.7 passer rating.
But if you watched the game, you'd know 46 of those yards came on a garbage-time touchdown to Denzel Boston against the Jaguars' backups. You would've seen Watson fire an interception to end Cleveland's first drive, almost throw another to end the second, and then get strip-sacked on the third. You would understand that most — if not all — of Jacksonville's five sacks on Watson happened because he was dropping so far back that the offensive line couldn't form a cohesive pocket. You might've been baffled by how often he was trying to change a call at the line of scrimmage too late in the play clock.
Cleveland's first drive had gotten off to a solid start, with the team moving the ball before Watson's interception. After that, the unit was off the rails with no sense of rhythm.
But Watson said postgame that the pick didn't rattle him.

During the September 3 episode of Mad Money, Jim Cramer mentioned Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) for its unconventional approach to powering hyperscale data centers in partnership with Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX). He said:
How about Microsoft? Look, Mr. Softee is getting religion. They've realized that by giving us more disclosure on Azure, their cloud infrastructure business, we'll find more things to like. They're right. In the end, I come to praise Microsoft CFO Amy Hood, not bury her. They've been very clever getting power for the data centers, pumping it right out of the Permian. They got this deal with Chevron as a partner… 2.67 gigawatts. No one's talking about it. It's the cleanest behind the meter plan for power I have seen yet. People even, and this is not a stretch, I'm not kidding, people even like Copilot.
CFO Amy Hood provided Wall Street with a much clearer look at actual cloud demand by breaking down detailed Azure growth metrics and data center capacity constraints. At the same time, enterprise adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot is moving past initial trials, with major corporations deploying the AI ***** istant across workforce segments.
A major highlight of the company's infrastructure strategy is a twenty-year agreement with Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) for a proposed 2.67-gigawatt natural gas power plant in West Texas. Designed to supply dedicated off-grid electricity directly to a hyperscale data center in the Permian Basin, the project bypasses regional grid transmission queues to secure reliable power for continuous AI workloads. The Cleveland Browns are set to kick off their 2026 regular season Sunday afternoon when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road. The team announced on Friday that they would be starting two rookies on their offensive line, ruling out Teven Jenkins and announcing that third-round pick Austin Barber would get the start at right guard.
Cleveland is also calling up two players from its practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game, elevating linebacker Nathaniel Watson and cornerback D'Angelo Ross. ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi reports that both elevations are special teams-related, which makes sense, as both have clear skill sets to contribute in that area of the game.
It will be interesting to see who ends up on the inactive list after these elevations; we know at least one of them is already Tevin Jenkins. One of the biggest and most controversial trades happened this offseason when the L.A. Rams traded for Myles Garrett. The organization entered the season with more expectations than ever, but its campaign began in embarrassing fashion, as the San Francisco 49ers dominated the Rams 27–7 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.

The fans were disappointed with star pass rusher Myles Garrett, as his performance was really disappointing and he made virtually no impact in his Rams debut.
During a recent episode of "The Odd Couple," Fox Sports Radio host Rob Parker criticized several members of the Rams before turning his attention to the former Cleveland Browns star and saying:
"Myles Garrett was so terrible. He was a zero. He had nothing. Go look in the box score. His name's not even in there. You know why? He didn't do anything. No pressures. No sacks. No tackles. Nothing—not even a half tackle. Nothing. I would have rather had Mrs. Garrett from 'The Facts of Life' than Myles Garrett on my football team last night. That's how bad it was."

With Trevor Lawrence and Ewers on the 53-man roster, the Jacksonville Jaguars are still choosing to elevate quarterback Nick Mullens for Sunday's Week 1 matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
After the Jaguars traded for Ewers, Mullens was released on cutdown day and then signed back to the practice squad.
By trading for Ewers, the Jaguars are clearly bullish on the young quarterback's upside. That said, he is still a relatively inexperienced player, whereas Mullens not only has NFL experience but is well-versed in the Liam Coen system.
Beyond the backup quarterback needing to step in if an injury occurs, that player is also tasked with providing support and another set of eyes for the starter in the meeting rooms, on the practice field, and on the sidelines on Sundays.
Mullens' experience likely makes him more well-equipped to fill that role right now than Ewers.

Heading into this week's season opener, there are a lot of questions surrounding the Browns. How will Deshaun Watson play? Will the new-look defense without Myles Garrett be anything close to what it has been in recent years?
Defensively, the trade of Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams shook up the NFL landscape during the offseason. Garrett was fresh off of breaking the NFL single-season sack record last season in Cleveland. In exchange, the Browns acquired young pass rusher Jared Verse and draft capital.
Ahead of this week's game against the Jaguars, Verse spoke out with a clear warning to Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
