The 19-year-old Ramadan will face former friend Johan "Jojo" Ghazali in a flyweight Muay Thai co-main event of The Inner Circle 24 on Friday, July 31.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — First responders searched damaged homes and buildings on Tuesday for possible victims of a powerful tornado that carved a path of destruction through several northeastern Wisconsin communities.
The twister touched down in the Fox Cities region, which includes Appleton, Menasha and Neenah, at around 1 p.m. Monday and remained on the ground for more than 20 minutes as it cut a roughly 12-mile path of destruction through an area, the National Weather Service reported. It was nearly a mile (1.6 kilometers) across at its widest, and it destroyed homes and businesses, flipped cars and knocked down rows of power lines in the region, which is roughly 100 miles (160 kilometers) northwest of Milwaukee.
The timing — it blew in when most people were awake and after warnings had been issued — could be why there have been no reported deaths, authorities said.
"I think what helped us was it was during the week," Menasha Police Chief Matt Albrecht said at a news conference Tuesday. "Everybody was at work. It was the middle of the day. Most people were not at home and at their place of employment."
Authorities said a number of people were injured and treated at hospitals, but they didn't know exactly how many or how seriously.

The attorney for Duane "Keefe D" Davis, the man charged with the first-degree murder of Tupac Shakur, is speaking out ahead of the start of his trial.
In an interview with The U.S. Sun published Tuesday, July 28, Mike Sanft said there "should never have been charges" against Davis in the first place, adding that his client's past comments about his alleged involvement in Shakur's murder were not necessarily truthful.
"It's exercising your First Amendment right to free speech," Sanft said. "Is it in good taste? Probably not. But once again, it's exercising in his right to free speech."
Davis previously recalled in his 2019 memoir Compton Street Legend the night Shakur was shot.
According to Sanft, authorities "should have rolled their eyes at Keefe and been like, 'Dude, seriously, why'd you even write that book? That's dumb.' Ultimately, when you really look into the book itself and the details of it it's not necessarily criminal."

CHICAGO (AP) — Brianna Turner said on social media that her former team, the Indiana Fever, fired a male employee last season for ***** ual harassment. Turner, who was with Indiana last season but now plays for the Las Vegas Aces, also said Fever players were encouraged not to discuss the firing.
The Fever put out a statement Thursday that didn't directly address Turner's comments.
"Protecting our players and employees and maintaining a respectful, professional workplace is our top priority," the Fever said. "Our policy is to take concerns seriously, investigate thoroughly, and act promptly when appropriate to protect the people in our organization and ensure everyone is treated with professionalism and respect. Fostering trust and safety in that process means we do not comment on personnel matters involving former employees."
Turner's comments were part of a series of posts she made in defense of transgender athletes.
"To date there's been one out trans player in the league. They caused zero problems," Turner wrote in the posts on X on Wednesday. "An issue that has caused problems though? Last year on my WNBA team a male staff member was fired for ***** ual harassment, but we were encouraged to keep quiet about it. That is an issue."

Recruiting may not be on most people's minds with the college football season set to begin in about five more weeks, but Matt Campbell and his staff don't have the luxury of putting it on the mental back burner. They've done a tremendous job of rebuilding Penn State's 2027 recruiting class, while also keeping their eyes further towards the future.
The Nittany Lions already have a top-three Class of 2028 and now they could be getting their hands on another intriguing prospect from that group. Penn State has been recruiting four-star wide receiver Owen Johnson for much of this year, and in a recent interview with NittanyCentral, he spoke about their chances of landing him.
"Penn State definitely has my attention," is how Johnson began his response when asked about which teams he was focused on. Some of the other schools the team will be battling for Johnson's commitment are Nebraska, Notre Dame, and UCLA, but he confirmed that the Nittany Lions are in his top five.
The team has a serious need for wide receivers, with the position seriously lacking in the next two recruiting classes. They did have one of the best pass catchers in next year's group of prospects, four-star receiver Khalil Taylor, but Penn State was unable to land him a second time.

CHICAGO – Detroit Tigers right fielder Kerry Carpenter has been dealing with the strangest injury of his career.
Carpenter has a bruised heel on his left foot from – the Tigers think - his cleats.
Seriously.
Carpenter has always worn Under Armour cleats but his favorite pair was discontinued. So, he switched to a pair of New Balance cleats.
“Under Armour stopped making the model I've worn the last seven years,” Carpenter said before the Tigers played the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday, July 22. “So I switched to New Balance because those were the only ones that felt good on my feet.”

Aaron Donald continues to work out as he contemplates coming out of retirement, training both privately at the Los Angeles Rams' facility and at home in videos that he's been posting on Instagram.
Drew Brees has seen some of the workouts Donald has posted and it leaves no doubt in his mind that the All-Pro pass rusher could realistically return to the Rams. In an interview with USA TODAY Sports, Brees said he "absolutely" thinks there's a real chance Donald comes back because of the favorable situation he'd be put in.
"I do. I absolutely do," Brees said. "I absolutely do because first off, I've watched the guy on Instagram and he looks like he's staying in pretty good shape. I mean, I'm still pretty scared of him," Brees said. "For him to sit there and go, 'Wait a minute, you mean I can come back, I don't have to play a full game, I can play between 20, 25 snaps a game, it's always going to be a pass rush, I'm always going to be matched up against the worst offensive lineman and all the attention is going to Myles Garrett and some of these other monsters up there? Like, yeah, why not?' And truly make a Super Bowl run, I think that temptation might be too much for him to pass up."

A black labrador had to be rescued from the UK's highest mountain after falling seriously ill when she ate cannabis, her owner has said.
Five-year-old Tokyo became unwell and even lost consciousness several hours into a hike up Scotland's Ben Nevis last Sunday, according to her owner Christina Bluhme.
"She'd been so happy eating treats and drinking and had been her very active normal self," Bluhme, a professional dog trainer, told CNN on Monday. The two had been trekking alongside Bluhme's 17-year-old son Magnus and their two-year-old golden labrador, Blaze.
Then things took a dramatic turn as they approached the peak of the mountain, which stands at 4,413 feet (1,345 meters).
"We were maybe an hour from the top when we noticed Tokyo got really weak in her hind quarters," said Bluhme.

CAIRO (AP) — The Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen said they launched missiles and drones at Saudi Arabia's Abha International Airport on Monday in response to airstrikes they blamed on Saudi Arabia that struck Sanaa International Airport earlier in the day.
No casualties were reported, but the attacks marked an escalation not seen since a Saudi-led coalition struck Houthi-controlled areas several years ago. Saudi Arabian officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment about the airstrikes in Yemen.
Houthi military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree, in a video statement on Telegram, warned airlines against flying through Saudi airspace, saying these warnings should be taken "seriously until the blockade on Sanaa International Airport is lifted."
The internationally recognized government in Yemen said earlier that the strikes that hit Sanaa International Airport were meant to prevent an Iranian plane from landing.
The Houthis vowed to retaliate for the strike, which marked the first major escalation between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia following a period of relative calm.

Houthi military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree, in a video statement on Telegram, warned airlines against flying through Saudi airspace, saying these warnings should be taken "seriously until the blockade on Sanaa International Airport is lifted."
The internationally recognized government in Yemen said earlier that the strikes that hit Sanaa International Airport were meant to prevent an Iranian plane from landing.
The Houthis vowed to retaliate for the strike, which marked the first major escalation between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia following a period of relative calm.

Think about last year at this time. There were lots of questions surrounding if Williams was worth his No. 1 overall pick status. His rookie season was lukewarm, at best.
But, then head coach Ben Johnson came on the scene. He put his foot down and helped Williams lead this entity to the No. 1 spot in the NFC North. Then, they made the playoffs. Chicago not only made the postseason, they were favorites until falling to the Los Angeles Rams.
So, Williams was part of a winning team in 2025, and now, he's getting some respect for his hard work. It's only fitting.
