The showgirl context is really key to understanding why this MYAT Fall 2026 dress was chosen.
The distressed pleated silk is formed to create a showgirl silhouette through the fitted strapless bodice, high-low hemline and dramatic trailing volume. I don't feel that it looks like a literal costume, but I'm sure many will strongly disagree.
