Andy Williams, an All Elite Wrestling star known as The Butcher and a metalcore guitarist, has died at age 48.
Williams died on Saturday night after a medical emergency during an Enjoy Wrestling event at Mr. Smalls Theatre in Millvale, Pennsylvania, as the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office told TMZ.
Williams and his tag-team partner, Jesse Guilmette a.k.a. The Blade, had a match against wrestler TME at the event.
Enjoy Wrestling said in an X post on Saturday that Williams collapsed at the end of his match and that doctors on staff provided immediate medical ******* istance, administering CPR until an ambulance arrived.
According to dispatch audio TMZ released Sunday morning, a male wrestler hit his head on a ring post at Saturday's event. A cause of death for Williams has not been released.

Today in Boston Celtics history, Emmette "Em" Bryant (before you ask, he is not related to Kobe Bryant), was traded to the Boston Celtics from the Phoenix Suns in 1968 in exchange for a second-round draft pick in the 1969 NBA Draft.
Bryant hailed from Chicago, Illinois, and played his collegiate basketball at DePaul University with the Blue Demons men's basketball program. His performance there attracted him some national attention, leading to his selection as the 53rd overall pick in the seventh round of the 1964 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks, during a time when the annual summer event included many more rounds than it does today. He played four seasons with New York before being taken by the Suns in the 1968 expansion draft held to populate their roster and that of the Milwaukee Bucks, two new teams joining the NBA that year.
Bryant never suited up for Phoenix, however, with fate having other plans for his career.
The new NBA franchise instead turned around and dealt the DePaul alum to the Celtics on this date. The former Knick would play 151 games over two seasons with Boston between 1968 and 1970, winning a ******* le with the Celtics in 1969.
He was again taken in an expansion draft in 1970, selected to join the newly-formed Buffalo Braves that year from Boston's unprotected players.

Guilmette, playing Jimmy's stepbrother Cameron Frank, and Jolen, who stars as Daniella Hansen, a junior creative at the company determined to rise in the ranks, embrace their roles with gusto despite a predictable plot and having to act through werewolf fangs.

Norway's Crown Prince Haakon and his wife Mette-Marit marked their silver wedding anniversary by posing for a new photograph, published on Tuesday, in the grounds of their home at Skaugum estate.
"25 years filled with love, family and a life together," the royal household wrote beneath the photograph, which it shared on Instagram to mark the anniversary. The picture shows the crown prince and princess smiling and dressed in summery outfits.
The couple also posted photos on Instagram of a trip they took after their wedding, showing them on the beach at Long Island.
The couple married 25 years ago, on August 25, 2001, at Oslo Cathedral. The past few months have not been easy for them. The crown princess, who has a serious lung condition, received a transplant earlier this year. Haakon and Mette-Marit are celebrating their silver wedding anniversary in private as she recuperates.
On Tuesday morning, the couple arrived at the Oslo hospital where King Harald V is currently being treated, apparently to visit the 89-year-old monarch, who is Haakon's father.

Former Willamette High School standout Tony **** berland continues to recover from undisclosed injuries he sustained in a car accident in late March.
The Oregon football freshman defensive tackle isn't practicing with the Ducks during fall camp. He also missed the spring practice season in April.
"It's a work in progress with him," Oregon defensive line coach Tony Tuioti said Aug. 17. "I don't think it's going to be anything that we'll be able to see him soon. But he's made so much progress. I think the thing that's most important is that we have him with us and just having him in the room brings a smile to all our faces."
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound **** berland was the No. 1 recruit in the state last season and a top-100 national recruit according to the 247sports.com composite rankings.
As a senior with the Wolverines in 2025, **** berland had 102 tackles, 14 sacks and 26 tackles for a loss of yards.

The season is just around the corner, and the Oregon Ducks are still missing a key part of their freshman class. Unfortunately, they might not get that missing piece back any time soon.
On Monday, defensive line coach Tony Tuioti noted that freshman Tony ******* berland still has "a ways to go" in his recovery from a car accident in the spring. The accident left ******* berland with injuries that forced him to miss the spring season, and he still hasn't returned to the field less than a month away from Oregon's first game.

As a senior, the 6-foot-5 defensive lineman racked up 102 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 14 sacks and a pair of deflections. He was also rated as a top 100 recruit in the country, per 247 Sports.
The Ducks could use ******* berland along the interior as more young depth at the position. With ******* berland on the sideline, the Ducks have turned to fellow freshman Anthony "Tank" Jones Jr., who has gained more than 50 pounds since arriving on campus and reaching 300 pounds, according to Tuioti, signaling a potential move to the interior.

The future Queen of Norway, 22, was officially welcomed to the University of Oslo on Monday, where she will study at the Faculty of Social Sciences on exchange from the University of Sydney in Australia.
It marks the start of an exciting new chapter for Ingrid, who has chosen to return to Norway to be closer to her mother, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, who was described as "seriously ill" before she underwent a lung transplant in June.

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit have spent years trying to turn a modest island cabin into a showcase of Norwegian design — an ambitious renovation that stalled just as it was about to break ground. Now a storm named Amy has done what years of royal scandal couldn't: it forced their hands. The tempest tore apart one of the docks on Flatholmen, the tiny island the couple has owned since 2008. The damage has produced the first real building permit the property has seen in years — not for the glass-and-timber dream house long promised, but for a humble pier.

According to Norwegian outlet TV2, the municipality of Risør has cleared the crown prince and princess to rebuild the storm-wrecked dock. It's a modest approval, capped at six square meters, but it matters; without a working dock, the island is barely reachable, and any future revival of the couple's long-shelved architectural project would need one regardless.
The permit came with a catch. A companion request — for a seaside platform of the kind common along Norway's coast — was withdrawn after the state administrator recommended against it. The dock itself only cleared because of an unusual technicality: one of Flatholmen's existing moorings is used by police, which let the municipality authorize a second access point without setting a precedent for other landowners. Haakon and Mette-Marit will cover both the construction and the roughly $575 in municipal fees themselves. Notably, the original dock — built sometime between 1982 and 2004 — never had a formal permit at all, so this approval is being processed as new construction from scratch.

The Statesman Journal will be working across the football field to decide who the most impactful players in each position will be this season, starting with the quarterbacks.

Salem is gearing up to host the sixth Ironman 70.3 Oregon July 17-19.
Over 2,500 athletes and thousands of spectators and visitors from around the world will be in town for the event and area road closures and traffic impacts will follow.
The event's 70-mile course includes a 1.2-mile swim in the Willamette River, a 56-mile bike course from South Salem to Ankeny Nature Preserve and back and a 13.1-mile run through Minto-Brown Island Park, which finishes by the Salem Rotary Amphitheater in Riverfront Park.
Festivities begin July 17 when athlete check-in and a new Currents to Kicks preview event set off at Riverfront Park. July 18 will feature Ironkids Oregon — a one-mile race for kids ages 5-17, a half-mile race for ages 3-8 and a toddler trot for ages 1-3 that begins at 9 a.m.
The main event, Ironman 70.3 Oregon, begins at 6 a.m. July 19 in Riverfront Park and is expected to finish around 4 p.m.

Norway is in the World Cup quarterfinals for the first time, and its royal family is making sure to be there to witness the historic run.

Marius Borg Høiby, the 29-year-old son of Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit, has been found guilty of two counts of rape and sentenced to four years in prison.
The three judges in courtroom 250 at Oslo District Court cleared him of two other counts of rape, but found him guilty of many of the other offences of which he had been accused.
Høiby was not in court for the verdict for unspecified health reasons, but joined the session via video link.
Prosecutors had called for Høiby to be given seven years and seven months in prison. His defence lawyers had called for a lesser term of 18 months and have said he intends to appeal.
Even though Marius Borg Høiby is not himself a royal figure, the trial has cast a shadow over the broader royal family. His mother married Crown Prince Haakon when he was four, and he grew up within the family. The palace has said it will not comment on Monday's verdict.

Denmark footballer Christian Eriksen is doing well after spending the night in hospital following his latest collapse in Sunday's abandoned friendly with Ukraine in Odense.
In scenes similar to 2021, when he had to be resuscitated on the field during a European Championship game, distressed players surrounded him to shield the medical workers. He lost consciousness but could later walk to the ambulance.
The Danish football federation on Monday published an update from team doctor Morten Boesen.
"I spoke to Christian this morning and he is doing well. He is with his family and in good spirits. It is expected that he will be discharged soon and can return home," he said.
As well wishes poured in from across football, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen also wrote on Facebook: "My thoughts are with Christian Eriksen ... and all those around him who are affected by this.
