Guernsey FC maintained their unbeaten start to their Southern Combination Premier Division season as they twice came from a goal down to draw 2-2 at Crawley Down Gatwick.
The hosts took a seventh-minute lead when Will Harley curled past Seb Sheppard after some neat passing following a counter-attack down the right.
James Laws went close to doubling the lead 25 minutes later before Will Fazakerley and Callum Le Lacheur had chances for the Green Lions as they went into the break a goal down.
But the visitors levelled six minutes after the break as Sam Murray nodded on Charlton Gauvain's cross from the right and Jamie Dodd was able to bundle the ball home at the far post.
The hosts were back in front just four minutes later as Archie Drillot's weak back-pass was picked up by Harley and substitute Callum Kilkenny finished well moments after coming on.

England have received a boost ahead of their three-match Test series against Pakistan, with opener Emilio Gay reportedly expected to recover in time for the first Test at Headingley, beginning August 19. Gay suffered a shoulder injury while playing for Durham against Middlesex on Friday, but scans have reportedly shown no serious damage.
Gay made his Test debut against New Zealand earlier this year and scored two half-centuries in the three-match series. Despite some inconsistency, his partnership with Ben Duckett impressed England's management, who want to give him more opportunities after dropping Zak Crawley.
According to the Daily Mail Sport, Gay's scan on Saturday revealed no major injury, meaning he should be available to resume his opening partnership with Duckett against Pakistan.
The series will also be Joe Root's first official ******* ignment as England's Test captain since returning to the role. Newly appointed head coach Stephen Fleming has been involved in selecting the squad, while Marcus Trescothick will oversee the team as interim head coach for this series before Fleming takes full charge.

England will be without top-order batter Jacob Bethell, who has been ruled out after suffering a knee injury during the team's recent 2-1 ODI series win over India.
England enter the series after losing 2-1 at home to New Zealand, while Pakistan drew their recent Test series in the West Indies.

The Carabao Cup will welcome Chelsea, Tottenham and other Premier League teams into the competition in the second round after the competition kicks off over the weekend.
The Blues are the headline act entering the fold after their failure to qualify for Europe last term, with Xabi Alonso hoping to set the tone in his bid for debut-season silverware. After only just avoiding relegation in 2025/26, London rivals Spurs are also in the draw.
Before the draw, 68 EFL sides will seek to come through the first round unscathed - though it isn't the maiden Carabao Cup outing of the season for all, with Rochdale and Crawley Town already having to go through a preliminary round to reach this opening stage.
Featured ties of the first round, taking place from Thursday to Monday, include West Ham's meeting with Portsmouth, a Devon derby between Plymouth and Exeter, while a battle of Championship promotion-chasers will go down at the Riverside Stadium when Middlesbrough host Wrexham.
The second round will remain regionalised with the draw split into southern and northern sections.

Eastleigh defender Ben Drake is likely to miss the entire 2026-27 season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in a pre-season game.
The 21-year-old only joined the Spitfires from Millwall last month, and sustained the injury during a game against Crawley Town last week.
A club statement said there "is no definitive timescale" for the player's return but indicated that he is likely to miss the whole campaign.
Drake made 22 appearances for Braintree Town in the National league last season.

Could the Royals have had a much better final week of pre-season? It's hard to think so. Following victories against Woking last Saturday (0-2), Newport County on Tuesday (0-4) and Crawley Town on Friday (0-1), Reading made it four clean-sheet wins in four on Saturday afternoon by seeing off Charlton Athletic 0-3 at The Valley.
Lewis Wing was the star man, beginning and ending the scoring with a pair of excellent strikes. Perhaps Boyd Beacroft's halfway-line lob over the 'keeper at Crawley inspired Wing to go one better?
Either way, this was Wing at his very best. He gave the Royals the lead just before half-time when he slammed in a free-kick, later making absolutely certain of the result by curling the ball beautifully into the far top corner after getting a shot corner back from David Hicks.
Reece Evans will be having words about which goal was the highlight of the afternoon though. He opened his account for the first team to make it 2-0 in the second half, heading the ball powerfully past the 'keeper at the end of an incisive, fluent counter-attack. Hicks played a neat pass down the right and into the area for Kyreece Lisbie, who checked back onto his left foot and crossed cutely for Evans.
Even outside those goals though – and stop me if you've read this before about Reading's 2026 pre-season friendlies – the Royals looked confident and well structured. Inventive, energetic and dynamic, this was a display that simply wouldn't have happened last season.

Seven academy players have been taken on Chelsea's pre-season tour - and they will all be looking to impress new boss Xabi Alonso.
The Blues are travelling to Australia with a 26-man squad, and are facing Western Sydney Wanderers and Tottenham.
Almost all of the academy players have been training with the first team throughout Alonso's first two weeks in charge, featuring in behind-closed-doors friendly wins against Crawley Town and Bromley.
However, they could return to London during the Asian leg of the tour if the players involved at the World Cup rejoin the squad.
Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli is one of the young players hoping to make an impact and break into a star-studded - perhaps oversized - Chelsea squad.

Richard Gleeson, who was signed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) as an injury replacement for Nuwan Thushara for INR 1.6 crore ahead of IPL 2026, made a sensational start to his The Hundred 2026 campaign with MI London, producing a match-winning spell against Sunrisers Leeds.

The Sunrisers Leeds pacer removed Will Jacks and birthday boy Jason Roy cheaply, reducing the defending champions to 4/2. When Nathan Ellis bowled James Vince for 13, MI London found themselves in trouble at 51/3, with the momentum firmly in Sunrisers' favour.
However, the game turned completely after Nicholas Pooran walked to the crease. The West Indies star launched a breathtaking counterattack, smashing 58 off just 22 ****** *, including five fours and five sixes. He raced to his half-century in just 19 deliveries, registering the fastest fifty in MI London's history.

Burton Albion have signed goalkeeper Corey Addai from League One rivals Stockport County on a season-long loan.

Ade Adeyemo says "a dark time" at Crawley Town is now completely behind him, as he looks towards a more positive future at the League Two club.
The 27-year-old signed a new two-year contract with the Reds this week, six months after he thought his Crawley career was over when he was axed from the squad amid a relegation battle.
"I'm very happy to be signing for this great club again," he told BBC Radio Sussex.
"I can't say that I would have thought I would be here, but it's credit to the hard work I've put in and the people behind the scenes. I'm just really happy here."
On 1 January, Crawley lost 2-1 at Barnet, leaving them just two points above the relegation zone. Adeyemo came on for the last 10 minutes, but that was the last action he would see for more than six weeks.
