Ahead of the Indianapolis Colts' Week 1 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo has revealed the team's plan at linebacker.
According to Jake Arthur of Roundtable Sports, Anarumo said that the Colts will probably go with Akeem Davis-Gaither and Jaylon Carlies to start, although that could change during the week of practices.
Anarumo added that this is a position that will be rotated and the evaluation will be ongoing.

The Indianapolis Colts have completely revamped their defense, and nothing emphasizes that more than comparing last season's initial 53-man roster with this season's initial 53-man roster. While there are only six new players on the offense this season, there are 15 new players on the defense.
Offensively, there are no new additions at quarterback or tight end. Indianapolis has one new running back behind Jonathan Taylor in rookie seventh-rounder Seth McGowan.

One day after the Broncos signed pass rusher Ron Stone Jr. and cut wide receiver Hakeem Butler, the team made four more roster moves on Wednesday.

Allen has been back on the field as of late, but during Thursday's second joint practice with Atlanta, it was Jaylon Carlies who took the bulk of the first-team reps, alongside of Akeem Davis-Gaither.

The NFL's daily transaction report shows that Moore worked out for the Ravens on Friday and multiple reports say that he is signing on for a second tour of duty with the team. Moore was a 2016 fourth-round pick and spent his first five seasons with the AFC North club.
Moore had 47 catches for 511 yards and four touchdowns during that stint. He spent time with the Texans, ***** ans and Cardinals before playing in 14 games for the Commanders last season. He had 11 catches for 207 yards and a touchdown.

Mike Boynton Jr. has added some head coaching experience to his Michigan staff.
ESPN's Pete Thamel reported on Monday afternoon that the Wolverines are hiring Brown coach Mike Martin as an ****** istant. Martin, who is 44, has been the head coach at his alma mater since 2012 and holds a 171-202 record.
He did not lead the Bears to an NCAA tournament bid in his 13 seasons in Providence, though he did turn in five winning seasons and led Brown to a CIT bid in 2014 and a CBI bid in 2019. That season, he was also named the Ivy League's Coach of the Year.

If Charles Barkley is going to accuse LeBron James of ring chasing, then Shannon Sharpe is going to hit Barkley with the same criticism.
Barkley joined Unfiltered with Ricky Bo and Bill Colarulo on Philadelphia's 97.5 The Fanatic this week to discuss the NBA offseason. And while projecting where James should play next season, Barkley criticized the four-time NBA champion for ring chasing to catch the "imaginary Michael Jordan ghost," saying he should just go back to Cleveland.
Ring chasing has been the most common criticism of James since he spurned Cleveland the first time to team up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami 16 years ago. But Shannon Sharpe believes Barkley is being hypocritical when he calls James out for ring chasing.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) said Wednesday he hopes Democrats remember that after the primary elections are over, the party's "enemy is Donald Trump."
MS NOW's Jen Psaki spoke with Jeffries about Israel playing a role in the New York Democratic primary. She asked Jeffries about his reflection on the issue and how Democratic voters may have made their decision to unseat pro-Israel incumbents based on the party's support for Israel amid its nearly three-year war in Gaza.
"I think for us as House Democrats, we're just hopeful that everybody recognizes once we get through this primary season, that the enemy is Donald Trump and MAGA extremism in terms of trying to bring about the type of America that we all desire, where when you work hard and play by the rules, working class folks can live a comfortable life, an affordable life and a good life," Jeffries said after a lengthy answer.

The Denver Broncos clearly liked what they saw from the St. Louis Battlehawks this spring.
In addition to agreeing to sign Battlehawks wide receiver Hakeem Butler, the Broncos are also signing St. Louis cornerback/returner Sean Fresch, according to a report from James Larsen of UFL Newsroom. In addition to agreeing to sign Battlehawks wide receiver Hakeem Butler, the Broncos are also signing St. Louis cornerback/returner Sean Fresch, according to a report from James Larsen of UFL Newsroom. UFL offensive player of the year Hakeem Butler is getting another shot at the NFL.
Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Broncos are signing Butler ahead of their mandatory minicamp this week. The wideout won the UFL award while playing with the St. Louis Battlehawks this spring.
Butler also won the offensive player of the year award while playing for St. Louis in 2024 and he's spent the last three seasons with the team. He had 29 catches for 641 yards and three touchdowns during the 2026 season.
Butler was a 2019 fourth-round pick of the Cardinals and spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve. He played in two games for the Eagles in 2020 and has also spent time with the Panthers, Steelers and Bengals over the course of his career.
