We always need to remember that actors are not the characters they portray, no matter how well they sell the role. They're just acting, after all, not showing their true colors. So finding out an actor that normally plays villains is actually a decent person shouldn't be surprising.
And no, it isn't surprising, but it is incredibly funny. There may be something to someone needing to be nice and empathic enough to understand how evil someone can be. These are the actors that are often typecasted as villains, while being incredibly decent persons themselves.

Emma Roberts gave her strapless Alex Perry sequin gown a Wild West twist with her choice of accessories. The "We're the Millers" actress attended the Clarins x F1 celebration on October 24. Her outfit brought a fresh perspective to eveningwear, blending high-octane red-carpet glamour with playful personality. Photos and videos of her look have since gone viral online.
Posing against a muted champagne backdrop at the Clarins x F1 party, Emma Roberts stood out in a sequin Alex Perry dress. Covered entirely in densely packed sequins, the garment caught the ambient light from every angle, reflecting deep chocolate-brown and warm copper tones with every movement.
The gown featured a clean, straight-across strapless neckline that highlighted her bare shoulders and arms. Further, the sculpted torso skimmed her figure before flowing into a long, floor-sweeping column skirt.
The rich bronze palette added unexpected depth and warmth that harmonized beautifully with her golden-blonde hair and glowing skin.
Roberts added a Western twist to the clean lines of her gown with a hard-shell from Judith Leiber. Known as the Cowboy Hat, Cheyenne featured the iconic shape of a Western cowboy hat and was fully encrusted with glittering champagne-gold crystals.

Phoebe Dynevor became internationally famous through Bridgerton, and that sudden success also brought increased attention to her personal life. The British actress has experienced everything from relatively private relationships to a highly publicized romance followed by photographers and tabloids. Over time, however, Dynevor has become increasingly careful about separating her career from her relationships. Her romantic history has included actors and figures outside the entertainment spotlight, but her relationship with Cameron Fuller ultimately became the most significant chapter. After beginning their romance in 2023, the couple became engaged and later married.
Before Bridgerton transformed her public profile, Dynevor was linked to several men, including British actor Sean Teale and executive Simon Merrill. These relationships attracted comparatively limited attention, partly because they occurred before she became internationally recognizable as Daphne Bridgerton. The success of the Netflix period drama dramatically changed the amount of interest surrounding her life away from the screen.
That became especially clear in 2021, when Dynevor dated American comedian Pete Davidson. Their relationship generated intense media attention as the pair were photographed together and followed by celebrity publications. Dynevor later reflected on the experience of suddenly having strangers interested in something she considered an ordinary part of being a young woman. The relationship ended after several months, with their demanding schedules and distance widely reported as challenges.
A quieter chapter began when Dynevor was linked to actor and producer Cameron Fuller in 2023. The pair initially kept much of their relationship away from public attention, although they gradually began appearing together at events. Fuller comes from an entertainment industry family and has worked both in front of and behind the camera.
Their relationship reached another milestone in 2024. Dynevor attended the Met Gala wearing a pale pink Victoria Beckham gown and revealed a diamond ring on her left hand, bringing widespread attention to their engagement. Fuller and Dynevor largely continued their low key approach afterward rather than turning their wedding preparations into a constant public storyline.

America's newest college graduates were sold the college premium. Four in 10 of them are working jobs that never needed the diploma.
About 42% of recent college graduates, ages 22 to 27, were underemployed in June, working jobs that typically don't require a bachelor's degree, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's tracker of the labor market for recent college graduates. That's up from 41.8% in May but down from 42.4% in November 2025 and below the pandemic-era high of 43.4% in October 2020.
Unemployment is the other half of the problem. Recent grads' jobless rate hit 5.7% in June, well above the 4.1% rate for all workers. That's a reversal. From 1990, when the Fed's data begins, through 2018, recent grads were more likely to be unemployed than the average worker in just eight months. They have been more likely every month since January 2021. The gap hit a record 1.8 percentage points in April 2025 and is still near it.
Some degrees fare much worse than others. Using 2024 Census data, the Fed's breakdown by college major found criminal justice had the most underemployment, at 65.8%, followed by performing arts at 63.9% and fine arts at 58.9%.
On unemployment, computer engineering was second-worst of any major at 7.8%, and computer science fourth at 7%. Education majors fared best: special education had a 0.7% jobless rate and elementary education 1.2%. Nursing was 2.1%.

Walmart is reworking an iconic piece of pop culture history to bolster its holiday marketing and a "Who Knew?" brand platform starring Walton Goggins. The goal is to offer a unified marketing push with multigenerational appeal throughout the crucial gift-giving season.
The retailer in the past ran separate campaigns around different legs of the holiday season, such as the ramp-up to Black Friday, but has leveraged "Who Knew?" to streamline its storytelling. "Who Knew?," which launched last year, was developed to dispel misperceptions about the brand and position it as more style- and trend-forward as Walmart wins over higher-income shoppers.
"The holidays are an incredibly cluttered period of time from an advertising standpoint, and so the ability to break through is really important," Walmart CMO William White said in an interview. "Having one [theme], one campaign throughout the season allows a really quick read for customers to know it's Walmart."

Kimberly Guilfoyle has lost her ambassador job, but her name still carries a six-figure price tag on the speaking circuit. The former Fox News personality is listed for appearances costing between $50,000 and $100,000 after she left as U.S. ambassador to Greece amid allegations of financial misconduct, which she denies. Whether anyone is paying those rates is another question. The listing offers a glimpse of her potential earning power, but it doesn't show that she's booked a single six-figure engagement.
Papadakis Press/MEGA
According to her Speaker Booking Agency profile, Guilfoyle is available for speaking engagements, corporate appearances, virtual events, moderated discussions, and meet-and-greets. The page displays a speaking-fee range of $50,000 to $100,000 and lists West Palm Beach, Florida, as her departure point.
That puts the advertised upper limit for one appearance at the same dollar figure as the American Express payment at the center of the controversy surrounding her diplomatic career. The two amounts concern separate matters. One is a public booking estimate, while the other involves disputed allegations about a donor's financial dealings with her.

Social Security provides about 30% of older Americans' household income, according to a Congressional Research Service report.

In a housing market where affordability is increasingly out of reach for many buyers, Vic Bulbon is looking at a type of property that's becoming less expensive: condominiums.
With national home prices near record highs and mortgage rates topping 7% in recent weeks, buying a home remains out of reach for many Americans. Condos appear to offer a rare bright spot, with prices falling across the country.
But even with cheaper sales prices, rising homeowners' **** ociation (HOA) fees and one-time special **** sments are driving up ownership costs.
Now, guidelines released this year by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the government-sponsored agencies that back nearly half of all US home purchases, aim to reduce the financial and structural risks of condo buildings. Real estate agents told CNN that the changes could add pressure to the condo market by further driving up HOA fees, increasing the total monthly bill for condo owners, and potentially eroding the savings of a lower purchase price.
As of mid-October, condo sales prices lagged behind single-family home prices in 99 of the 100 largest markets in the United States, according to data from financial services company Intercontinental Exchange provided to CNN. Nationally, single-family home prices rose 1.5% from a year earlier, while condo prices fell 1.1%.

Kim Kardashian was left "so mad" after her years-old feud with Paris Hilton was recently revived, her biographer has revealed.
The reality TV star's biographer shared that Kim was left fuming after she learned Paris Hilton had ghosted him.
Jonathan Van Meter, author of Kim's upcoming authorised biography Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future, revealed he had tried several times to schedule an interview with Kim's former best friend, but was repeatedly left hanging.
"Kim was so mad when I told her," Jonathan told The Hollywood Reporter of Paris's multiple cancellations. "It seemed to stir up some ancient irritation between them. The creation turning on the creator."
Paris, 45, famously introduced Kim, 46, to the world via her reality series The Simple Life.
The formerly close friends had a falling out after Kim's star ascended with the success of her own reality TV series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Melania Trump's outfit for the outing struck a delicate balance between approachable civic duty attire and high-end designer sophistication. She wore a high-waisted, camel-beige pencil skirt crafted by Belgian luxury fashion house Maison Ullens. She originally sported it during a trip to Brussels, Belgium, in May 2017.
The archival piece is made from soft leather tailored into geometric, paneled segments. Fine tonal contrast stitching outlined each panel, creating a grid-like structural detailing across the front and hip seams. The skirt featured a mid-length hem falling just below the knees. Moreover, a clean vertical slit at the center-front, offered ease of movement while adding a subtle modern edge to the traditional pencil silhouette.

Charlize Theron leaned into the age-old color-blocking trend for her latest public appearance in a Givenchy outfit. "The Odyssey" star accepted the Award of Inspiration at the amfAR Dallas 2026 on October 24. She looked stunning as ever in the outfit that blended deconstructed athletic wear and avant-garde tailoring.
For the amfAR Dallas 2026, Charlize Theron pulled an outfit straight from the runway. She was wearing a red-and-black color-blocked look from Givenchy's Spring 2027 Ready-to-Wear collection. It featured a fitted, finely ribbed black tank top with a classic scoop neckline. The top had double-strap detailing along the shoulders, creating subtle cutouts. Further, vivid red contrast binding along the neck and armholes framed her upper torso with crisp, geometric energy.
The lower half of the look transitioned into wide-leg trousers featuring a unique architectural drape. A wrapped, jacket-like layer folded downward over the hips. This inverted upper structure featured structured lapels trimmed in matching crimson piping, creating a layered trompe-l'œil effect. The voluminous folds added an intentional sense of asymmetry and rich textural depth to the otherwise minimalist black base.
A black leather belt with an oversized, round metallic disc buckle brought a hardware element that drew the eye straight to her waist. Further, Theron's beauty styling kept the spotlight firmly on the outfit's strong lines and interesting palette. She wore her blonde hair in an edgy, wet-look short crop. Soft, side-swept tendrils casually framed one side of her face while the rest was slicked back cleanly.
The Academy Award winner's makeup was minimal but striking, featuring a matte complexion, defined eyes, light pink blush on her cheeks, and a neutral, rosy-nude lip. She wore a stack of silver earrings that framed her face without distracting from her outfit. Black leather open-toe mules peeked from underneath her trousers, maintaining the dark color palette.

By most traditional measures, having a net worth of $1 million should put someone firmly in the "wealthy" category. Yet a growing number of millionaires don't see it that way.
Just one third (36%) of the nation's wealthiest citizens — those with at least $1 million in investable ***** ets — consider themselves wealthy, according to Northwestern Mutual's 2025 Planning and Progress study.
Further, nearly half (49%) of American millionaires say their financial planning needs improvement, citing the possibility of outliving their savings, the impact of taxes in retirement, and potential long-term care needs as their top financial concerns.
This gap may be surprising, but it highlights how rising costs, longer lifespans, and shifting expectations have redefined what it means to feel rich in modern America.

I'm 67, my husband is 69, and we've been married 38 years. We've lived in the same four-bedroom colonial for 32 of those years. It's paid off and worth $1.5 million. We have another $1.8 million in retirement accounts and savings, plus Social Security and a small pension from his old job. No debt, and our kids are on their own.
So this isn't a money problem, but we can't talk about retirement anymore without it turning into a fight. He wants to buy something for $600,000 now that we are empty-nesters, and invest the rest. He has a spreadsheet. I've seen it open on the laptop at the kitchen table at 11 p.m., with property taxes, insurance and the lawn guy all in little columns.

Erika Kirk is facing fresh online criticism after a video of her appearance on the Chicks On The Right podcast went viral, with social media users debating her hairstyle, long extensions and fashion choices.
The controversy began with an October 23 post on X featuring the mom of two on the podcast set. During the clip, the hosts drew attention to her long hair, describing it as "real" and "spectacular."
However, rather than focusing on the praise, many viewers questioned whether Kirk's hair was entirely natural and criticized what they considered her over-the-top style despite "grieving."
X / chicksonright
One commenter suggested that the look involved professional styling and additional hairpieces, writing, "She for sure has an extension expert on staff who maintains and styles her hair. The elaborate plaits that they add to her hair are obviously hair pieces, and they are using long clip in pieces to add volume."

McALLEN, Texas (AP) — The Ford Expedition rumbled to a stop and Cindy Banda's bedazzled flip-flops landed on the asphalt of the Houston cancer center's vast parking lot. She threaded through the rows of cars, a tally of patients who gather here to sit with chemotherapy needles or lie on radiation machines.
The elevator dinged open. A year ago in this building, surgeons removed Banda's right breast, and she still didn't know whether treatment had expunged the cancer from her body. Doctors had told her it would be tough to beat.
"I'm more of a positive person myself," Banda said, now sitting with a white wristband in a dim waiting room. But the bills are harder to dismiss, and the single mother with six children in her care repeated something like a mantra. "Keep the house. Keep the cars. And just keep the kids stable."
That's true for many Americans, as rising healthcare costs leave more families with a sinking feeling after seeing the bill for surgery or medication. Heading into the Nov. 3 midterm elections, about half of registered voters said healthcare costs are a major problem for them and their families, up from a little more than one-third four years ago, according to a Fox News poll from September.
With party control of Congress at stake, registered voters are nearly twice as likely to say they trust Democrats over Republicans to handle healthcare, according to an ******* ociated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll from the same month. Those frustrations, combined with broader concerns over rising prices, have sapped support for President Donald Trump and his Republican Party.
