It's a family affair!
Zac Efron and Dylan Efron have never been shy to show off their ripped bodies whenever they go on vacation together and their recent boat getaway is certainly no exception.
In a new Instagram carousel posted by Dylan Efron, the handsome reality star poses shirtless next to his older brother as they take in the views on the water. Although Zac Efron might not be wearing his signature Baywatch Speedo while on the family vacay, the duo looks like they're having the time of their lives as summer comes to a close.
Throughout the post, fans can also see Dylan Efron golfing, spending time with his dog, and even ordering food in a drive-through at In-N-Out. The brothers definitely deserve some relaxation time as Dylan Efron had his breakout year in 2025 after winning season 3 of The Traitors and making it all the way to the finals on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars.
Zac Efron, on the other hand, has quite a busy schedule with quite a few acting gigs lined up for the future. He's going to star in and executive produce a highly anticipated Angel Heart series, which is slated to drop next year or in 2028. In terms of movies, the actor will star in the psychological thriller Famous and the comedy film Judgment Day, with both scheduled to drop later this year.

A teenager with type 1 diabetes is hoping to inspire others with the condition as he moves from simulator racing to real cars, his father has said.
Zachary Houghton, from Redhill in Surrey, completed his first Formula Ford race at the end of August, driving a racing car on a circuit for the first time.
The 17-year-old told BBC Radio Surrey: "I reckon I'll be able to get back in the car again - it will just be [about] finding the funding because motorsport isn't cheap."
His father, Scott Houghton, said his son wanted "to be an advocate and an inspiration" to those with the condition.
"Zachary would love his journey to show other young people living with type 1 diabetes that the condition doesn't have to stop them chasing the things they want to achieve," he said.

The Ravens released several players they likely want to re-sign to their practice squad over the weekend, but most are subject to waivers. All 31 teams will have a chance to claim them, in reverse order of last year's standings.
Waivers are set to process at 1 p.m. ET. Here are Baltimore's biggest risks, according to Beatdown's staff.
Dustin's take: The biggest waiver risks for me would be Robert Longerbeam, Adisa Isaac, and Rayshaun Benny. Longerbeam had a very strong preseason in his rebound from a season-ending injury that derailed his rookie season before it began last year. He deserved to make the roster, but the Ravens had too many quality cornerbacks ahead of him. Cornerback depth is of utmost importance in the NFL, so it would not surprise me to see someone claim Longerbeam. Isaac has the pedigree of being a former third-rounder, but injuries have kept him from showcasing his potential so far. I am sure that at least one team will be willing to take a chance on a young athletic pass rusher like Isaac. Similar to Longerbeam, Benny was victim to a loaded position group. Benny played well this preseason, but the team decided to go with Aeneas Peebles as the final defensive lineman over Benny, which is a decision I support.
Zach's take: The Ravens have five main guys I want on the practice squad that I'm worried about getting claimed. The first is recent seventh-round pick defensive tackle Rayshaun Benny, who flashed a bit during the preseason but not enough to steal a spot from Broderick Washington. Benny has pass potential on a brand new rookie contract so there's a chance somebody with lacking defensive line depth could put in a claim. The next is offensive tackle Gerald Lichtenhan. He was maybe the most steady offensive lineman during the preseason and a guy they had last year as well. Offensive line depth is always a luxury in the NFL, so it wouldn't be too shocking to see somebody grab him. Next is the pair of pass rushers the Ravens waived, Adisa Isaac and Kaimon Rucker. Both flashed plenty in the preseason and had sacks but Ethan Burke simply made more plays and impacts more phases of the game. I think at least one of these guys gets claimed, likely Isaac, but hopefully the Ravens can get back at least one, if not both on the practice squad. Lastly, cornerback Robert Longerbeam finally had a chance to show what he could do after suffering an injury during his rookie year last preseason. He showed great coverage and open field tackling ability and I think a team would be lucky to grab him as depth. But hopefully the Ravens can sneak last years draft pick back on their practice squad.
Now, it's time to see if any Ravens get claimed off waivers! Keep up with the latest updates in our tracker and let us know which ones you will miss the most in the comments section!

Amid the chaos of final cuts, the Cincinnati Bengals figure to keep an eye on players shaking loose via league-wide cuts.
Zac Taylor and the Bengals, after all, have plenty of needs remaining on the roster, no matter what the "final" 53 looks like.
Spots like third running back and offensive tackle depth come to mind as potential depth issues. With trades, free agency and the waiver wire available to the Bengals, the front office figures to link with the coaching staff and review those options in the coming days and weeks.
Zooming out, the following early release players from other teams might interest the Bengals.
The situation behind Chase Brown and Samaje Perine hasn't been all that encouraging this offseason. If the Bengals see a veteran option that might be an upgrade over Tahj Brooks, they might just take it. Hassan Haskins, 26, is a former fourth-round pick with some versatility to his game and plenty of experience as a thirdish back in a rotation.

At a key time in the fantasy baseball calendar, we are unfortunately saddled with possibly the worst two-start pitcher group of the season. In fact, once we get past the top option, every other hurler may be best left for those in deep formats. On the hitting side, managers should load up on Rockies for the first half of the week.
Zac Thornton, Mets, 20% (vs. MIL, vs. HOU): Thornton continues to establish himself as a reliable major league rotation member and now sits at 3-4 with a 3.04 ERA and 1.13 WHIP after nine starts. The rookie struck out seven Padres in his most recent outing, which is a great sign from someone whose only weakness thus far has been an inability to accumulate whiffs. He unfortunately has a pair of matchups against top-10 teams in OPS versus righties, but at least both starts will take place at his pitcher-friendly home park.
Andrew Alvarez, Nationals, 7% (vs. COL, vs. MIA): Although Alvarez has enjoyed his best stretch of the season during August (2.42 ERA, 0.90 WHIP), the advanced stats (16:8 K:BB ratio, .169 BABIP) don't back up his success. In fact, the left-hander's strikeout rate this month (6.5 K/9) is notably lower than his season-long mark (8.3). Alvarez deserves credit for consistency, as he has allowed more than three earned runs in just one of his 19 appearances. However, most of his outings last less than five innings. He has reasonable matchups and the two-start options are poor this week, which makes him worth consideration as a low-floor, low-ceiling option in deeper formats.
Max Scherzer, Blue Jays, 6% (vs. KC, vs. SEA): After enjoying three consecutive strong starts, Scherzer faltered (4 IP, 7 ER) last time out. The outing wasn't quite as bad as the stat line indicates, as a pair of misplayed fly ***** by Jesús Sánchez ruined the right-hander's chances. Scherzer wouldn't normally rank as a viable two-start option, but he has had enough success of late to warrant consideration for two home starts against teams that rank 22nd (Royals) and 30th (Mariners) in runs scored.
Seth Lugo, Royals, 24% (@ TOR, @ CLE): Lugo opened the second half by posting a 2.37 ERA and 1.00 WHIP over three starts, but his 10:6 K:BB ratio in those outings showed that he hadn't truly turned around a poor season. Sure enough, the 36-year-old came crashing back to earth with a 7.48 ERA and 1.48 WHIP in his past four outings. Lugo has favorable matchups this week, as the Blue Jays (28th) and Guardians (26th) sit near the bottom of baseball in runs scored. That's the only reason to select him over those who trail him on this list.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Rookie Ryan Johnson carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning for second time this season and three Los Angeles Angels pitchers combined for a one-hitter in a 3-0 win over the Texas Rangers on Saturday night.
Johnson (3-7) struck out three in a career-high seven innings and won for the first time since July 19. He allowed only Cody Freeman's leadoff single in the sixth inning and two walks with a hit batter. On June 23, the 24-year-old right-hander threw 6 1/3 innings of no-hit ball in beating Baltimore 5-1.
Rookie Ryan Watson followed Michael Fulmer and recorded his second save.
Zach Neto went 3 for 5 with two doubles, a triple and two runs two nights after going 5 for 6 at Houston. The Angels (52-78) beat the Rangers (64-66), who are competing for an AL playoff spot, for the eighth time in 12 games this season.
Johnson defeated left-hander Cody Bradford (0-2) in a matchup of Dallas-Fort Worth players.

When the Denver Broncos watch the film after Friday's preseason showdown with the Green Bay Packers, they will likely evaluate a pair of inside linebackers on Green Bay's roster bubble.
Zach Kruse of Packers Wire believes Green Bay will choose between Nick Niemann and Kristian Welch for the final backup linebacker spot on their 53-man roster later this summer. If Kruse's hunch is correct, the loser of that ILB competition will be cut.
That could be a notable development for the Broncos, who are lacking experienced depth behind starters Alex Singleton and Justin Strnad. It wouldn't be shocking to see Denver monitor the waiver wire for potential ILB targets after roster cuts later this month, and one of Niemann or Welch could become available.
Niemann has appeared in 71 career games (with three starts), totaling 97 tackles, three pass breakups, one interception and one fumble recovery. He has also played 1,412 special teams snaps in his career.
Welch has 80 games (two starts) on his résumé, including six appearances and one start with the Broncos in 2024. He has totaled 43 tackles and one fumble recovery in his career, and he has 1,473 career snaps on special teams.

Hayden Panettiere's on-and-off boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother were at the scene of her death, according to a police report obtained Tuesday by CBS News. The "Heroes" actor, 36, was found dead in a South Carolina apartment on Sunday.
Panettiere and Brian Hickerson had a tumultuous relationship, including Hickerson being arrested multiple times over alleged abuse, according to Panettiere's recent memoir and media reports.
Hickerson and his brother, Zach, made the 911 call that brought first responders to the Greenville, South Carolina, apartment where Panettiere was found unresponsive, the partially redacted police report says. The report is attributed to Officer Matthew Bryan.
Firefighters and EMS were performing CPR on Panettiere when police arrived, Bryan wrote. Panettiere "did not seem to have any obvious physical reasons to be unresponsive," Bryan said. He wrote that EMS performed life-saving measures "for an extended amount of time before they called a time of death." He did not specify how long they worked.
Zach Hickerson told Bryan that Panettiere was Brian Hickerson's girlfriend, the report says. Bryan said there is CCTV footage showing Panettiere and the Hickersons coming and going from the apartment.

NEW YORK — There has been no slowing down the Mets since the trade deadline.
With a 2-1 victory on Monday night over the Padres, the Mets have now won four straight games and 10 of their last 13 since their massive sell-off.
On Tuesday night, the Mets will try to pull off a feat that they have not attained this season when they go for a fifth straight victory at 7:10 p.m. against the Padres at Citi Field. The Mets have won four straight games on three occasions in 2026 but never taken a streak further.
The Mets have won three straight one-run games. During their win streak, the Mets pitchers have pitched to a 2.00 ERA while the offense has produced a combined .733 OPS.
Zac Thornton will look to keep the good vibes going in his ninth career start on Tuesday. The lefty is 3-3 with a 2.78 ERA and coming off a loss when he allowed three earned runs in six innings against the Braves.

The New Orleans Saints vs. Jacksonville Jaguars game was a very interesting one to watch. The first half was exciting, and even with some of the struggles that were present, the Saints gave fans plenty of what they wanted to see. It was unfortunate that as the team got deeper into its reserves, the Saints were unable to hold the lead and finish the game.
Even though the Saints lost, there were still several players who showed up and showed out.
Zach Wilson was not thought to be in a battle for the backup quarterback job, but after this game, he certainly made his case. Wilson entered midway through the second quarter and finished 11-of-16 for 145 yards, one touchdown, a quarterback rating of 118.0, and a PFF grade of 81.2.
Wilson looked really good and efficient. He seemed in control and comfortable with the entire offense while he was in the game. But in my opinion, he was not the MVP of this game.
Let's talk about the primary target for the quarterbacks in the first half: Bub Means.

The Guardians will look for their franchise's 10,001st win tonight against the Giants at Progressive Field.
Tugboat Wilkinson is getting the call to debut for the Giants this week. It feels pretty intentional to give him a chance to pitch against this former organization who particularly struggle against crafty lefties.
Zack Meisel had a reflection on the 10,000th win and the current state of the team for the Athletic.
Tommy John passed away. He was traded from the Indians to the White Sox in 1965 as part of a three-team deal to bring Rocky Colavito back to Cleveland and revive attendance and keep the team from moving to Seattle. Thank you, Tommy John.
Ryan Cesarini is getting some national attention for his recent breakout in Akron.

Cubs get Pete Crow-Armstrong MVP prediction that is bold, but very possible originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Chicago Cubs are having a good 2026 season, and one of the main reasons why is that Pete Crow-Armstrong is breaking out further as one of the best players in baseball.
But this season he's not just simply playing very well; he's an actual MVP candidate. Winning the award over Shohei Ohtani might seem difficult at first glance, but it's something that's within range for PCA this season.
Zachary D. Rymer of Bleacher Report is predicting that Crow-Armstrong not only beats Ohtani for the NL MVP award, but that he will "bury" Ohtani in the race for the achievement this season. It's a bold prediction, but it could actually happen.
"Pete Crow-Armstrong will bury Shohei Ohtani in the NL MVP race," Rymer predicts. "... For one thing, it sure doesn't sound like Ohtani will be able to pitch for the Los Angeles Dodgers again before October."

It's hard to toss a rookie onto the field with an entire roster's worth of NFL veterans and have them emerge looking like the best player out of the bunch. But that's reportedly been the case for New York Jets defensive end David Bailey this preseason, and it continued on Tuesday.
Zack Rosenblatt, who serves as a senior writer with The Athletic covering the New York Jets and the NFL at large, was in attendance at the joint practice session between the Jets and Buccaneers on Tuesday and reported that "there's an argument" that Bailey was the best player on the field across both teams. He also showered Bailey with some lofty praise after watching him throughout the preseason so far.
"I've been covering the Jets for five seasons, and the NFL for nine. In that time I'm not sure I've seen a rookie that was appointment viewing quite like Bailey," reported Rosenblatt.
Bailey was the second overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft after being named a unanimous All-American and the Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year during his senior season at Texas Tech in 2025. He recorded 52 tackles (19.5 TFL), 14.5 sacks, three pass deflections, and three forced fumbles while anchoring a Red Raiders defense that made a run to the College Football Playoff.
For a Jets team that needs answers fast in Aaron Glenn's second season in charge of the program, a player of Bailey's caliber could go a long way in helping the team get turned around from their troubles last season. And early in camp, he could live up to that hype and make a major impact as a rookie. And if Rosenblatt is correct, Bailey might not just make an outsized impact, but end up being one of the best rookies we've seen this decade in the NFL.

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Junior Caminero hit a three-run homer in an eight-run eighth inning as the Tampa Bay Rays rallied for a 10-6 victory over the Athletics on Monday night.
Caminero hit his 34th of the year after Yandy Díaz and Jonathan Aranda both singled to kick off the inning, bringing the Rays within one. Chandler Simpson's RBI single tied the game, and Taylor Walls hit a two-run single to give Tampa Bay an 8-6 lead. Díaz hit a sacrifice fly and Aranda hit an RBI single in his second at-bat of the inning to make it 10-6.
Rays reliever Chris Roycroft (1-0) pitched the seventh inning, giving up three hits and three earned runs. Starter Freddy Peralta pitched the first six innings, with five strikeouts, three earned runs and a walk.
Díaz homered on the second pitch of the game to make it 1-0. The A's responded with an RBI double by Tyler Soderstrom to tie it, followed by Soderstrom stealing home later in the inning to make it 2-1.
Zack Gelof hit a solo home run in the fifth inning for the Athletics in his first game back after being on the injured list with a right knee laceration he sustained against the Detroit Tigers on July 9. He hit an RBI double in the seventh inning.

Socceroos World Cup star Cristian Volpato has allegedly tested positive for cocaine after police twice stopped him for speeding in Sydney on the same night.
The 22-year-old Australia midfielder was stopped in a BMW Coupe on the Anzac Bridge at 11:05pm local time on Thursday night after he was caught travelling between 86-94km/h in a 60km/h zone, police said.
He was subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a negative result.
However, Volpato allegedly returned a positive result for cocaine when he was stopped two hours later for travelling at 109km/h in the same 60km/h zone.
New South Wales state police said Volpato was issued an infringement notice for excess speed, while his international driver's licence was suspended for six months - which means he cannot drive in New South Wales.

Comparing the iShares Core MSCI Total International Stock ETF (NASDAQ:IXUS) and the State Street SPDR MSCI ACWI Climate Paris Aligned ETF (NASDAQ:NZAC) comes down to a choice between ultra-low-cost, ex-U.S. diversification and a more targeted global strategy built around climate-aligned corporate performance.
While both funds offer global equity exposure, they differ fundamentally in geographic and thematic construction. IXUS prioritizes low-cost coverage of developed and emerging markets outside the U.S., while NZAC layers in a climate-focused screen that -- notably -- still includes domestic U.S. equities.

Two of their four All-Star pitchers bookended a dominant night on the mound to pilot the Philadelphia Phillies (51-41) to a 4-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds (41-49) in the the opening game of the series.
The 18 strikeouts the Phillies’ staff collected were a season high, as they were for the Reds’ hitters who coughed them up.
Zack Wheeler matched his career high with 14 punch outs across his seven innings pitched, equaling the mark he set back in May of 2021 against the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Phillies got on the board first after a one-out double by Derek Hill and a single by Justin Crawford put runners on the corners for Trea Turner who grounded out to short to score Hill. Kyle Schwarber came up next and got the green light up 3-0 in the count to smash his majors-leading 31st home run to right center.
The Reds cut into the lead with a leadoff homer by Eugenio Suarez off of Wheeler in the seventh inning.

ANAHEIM, Calif. - Ryan Johnson profiled as one of the Angels' most promising pitching prospects after he was drafted in 2024, but so far in his sophomore season Johnson simply hasn't found his groove, especially not on Sunday against the Boston Red Sox.
While he started his night by striking out the first four batters he faced and the Angels offense gave him an early three run lead to work with, Johnson went just four innings while allowing five earned runs courtesy of a two-run home run by Jarren Duran and Wilson Contreras' second three-run home run of the series.
Though he might have escaped the fourth inning without giving up the long ball to Contreras, but Zach Neto bobbled what would have been the third out to allow Wilyer Abreu to reach base, setting the table for Contreras to do some damage.

The Guardians beat the White Sox 4-3 behind 5 and 1/3rd scoreless from the Cleveland bullpen. Franco Aleman, up for Daniel Espino, was impressive as were the other usual suspects. Nice to see Erik Sabrowski look like his old self, especially.

The White Sox decided to whine after the game, Anthony Kay blaming the Guardians for the timing of the rain delay (which they don’t control) and Will Venable blaming the grounds crew for his fielders’ sloppy play.

Happy free agency to all who celebrate! NHL Free Agency 2026 opens at 12 p.m. ET on Tuesday, July 1 — and what’s really marked this year’s group is far less about the players available to be signed as unrestricted free agents, and more related to the anarchy that could ensue with established talent.
If you’ve been following along, we already know that this 2026 class of UFAs is fairly weak. Teams worked to get ahead of the best players leaving, either locking them up to long-term deals or trading them around the draft to teams that subsequently got contracts done themselves. This also means that players who didn’t get dealt already are now causing major waves, operating as the dominoes people are waiting to fall before other signings take place. The players we’re really waiting on right now are:
Jason Robertson, LW — Dallas Stars: Robertson is an RFA, but has already informed multiple teams that he won’t sign contracts with them, killing multiple trades. Where Robertson ends up will start the dominoes at forward
Zach Werenski, D — Columbus Blue Jackets: Werenski is one of the best defensemen in the NHL, and wants to be on a contender. Stunningly he killed a potential trade to the Dallas Stars, so now teams are waiting to see whether or not CBJ can get a deal done.
John Carlson, D — Carolina Hurricanes: One of the top free agents this year, Carlson was dealt to the Hurricanes during the late rounds of the NHL Draft solely to give the Canes three extra days to negotiate with him ahead of free agency. The league waits to see whether or not this move was successful, and it will have a huge impact on the rest of the class if Carlson doesn’t end up hitting the market at noon.

What are the Washington Commanders thinking about their tight end group?
Approaching the 2026 training camp, rookies are scheduled to report July 24, and veterans are to report July 28. A few days ago, we looked at the running back troop; today, we look into the Commanders tight ends.
Zach Ertz: The Commanders have made no official announcement regarding Ertz for 2026. Yet they could certainly have announced, "We expect Zach back, we want Zach back," etc. Ertz suffered a torn ACL late in the season (Week 14), and he turns 36 in November. Ertz has totaled 825 receptions for 8,592 yards and 57 touchdowns while averaging 10.7 yards per reception in his 13-year, 181-game NFL career.
John Bates: Bates was extended last year by the Commanders because they see his ability and effort to block. He caught only 11 passes in 2025 and, frankly, may not catch more than 11 in 2026. But that is not because they don't like Bates. He provides good blocking in both the running game and on special teams.
Ben Sinnott: If Sinnott can remain healthy in 2026, look for him to double his production of 11 receptions in 2025. The rumors are that OC David Blough will look to Sinnott more than Kliff Kingsbury did in 2024 and 2025.

The Sacramento Kings have popped up in NBA trade rumors this summer with early buzz that the front office wants to shed payroll and offload several veterans for a rebuild. It appears one of those key starters could have interest from the Eastern Conference.
NBA insider Marc Stein mentioned that if the Detroit Pistons are unable to get involved as a third team in a Giannis Antetokounmpo trade to acquire Tyler Herro, they could pivot to acquiring All-Star guard Zach LaVine.

Zach LaVine contract (Spotrac): $48.967 million salary for 2026-27 season
Stein made it clear that LaVine would not be a top target for Detroit. Instead, the Pistons have interest in Coby White and Isaiah Joe, with an eye also on the trade market for either Kyrie Irving or Trey Murphy III. If none of those players can be acquired, then Detroit could pivot to LaVine.

Mets' Freddy Peralta leads eight projected trade chips with 50% problem originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The New York Mets are looking more and more likely to act as trade deadline sellers this season, as they've fallen well behind the pack in the NL East and the Wild Card.
If they do sell, it will be interesting to see who's actually on the move. Freddy Peralta is an obvious trade candidate, but who else could move?
Zachary D. Rymer of Bleacher Report revealed seven other trade candidates for the Mets, but there is one problem. Of these eight total trade chips, only 50% are likely to be desirable ******* ets this summer.
The eight players Rymer named as trade chips include their "best" trade chips in Peralta and Bo Bichette, and the rest, which include A.J. Minter, Brooks Raley, Kodai Senga, Mark Vientos, David Peterson, and MJ Melendez.
