The decisive stage of the 2026 CONMEBOL Sudamericana quarterfinals is about to begin! This Tuesday (8), at 9:30 p.m., in Buenos Aires, Tricolor will face Boca Juniors (ARG) in the first leg.
São Paulo heads into the clash at La Bombonera on the back of two straight wins: they beat Red Bull Bragantino 2-1 and Atlético-MG 2-0, both at MorumBIS, in the Brazilian Championship.
Tonight's match will mark the reunion between the Brazilians and Argentines after nearly 19 years: the last game took place on September 26, 2007, and ended in a 1-0 win for São Paulo at MorumBIS in the CONMEBOL Sudamericana. This morning's activities featured two updates: forward Victor Sá (traumatic sprain in his right ankle) trained with his teammates, while defensive midfielder Newton (edema in his left adductor) completed part of the session with the group before doing additional work with the fitness staff.
