The Tricolor squad trained this Wednesday (3) at SuperCT and continued preparations to face Atlético-MG next Saturday (5), at 6:30 p.m., at MorumBIS, in a match valid for the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship.
This morning's activities featured two updates: forward Victor Sá (traumatic sprain in his right ankle) trained with his teammates, while defensive midfielder Newton (edema in his left adductor) completed part of the session with the group before doing additional work with the fitness staff.
Training began with motor control exercises, possession drills, and speed work. Then, Dorival Júnior and his ***** istants organized three-versus-two matchups.
The players were then split into three teams: while two faced each other, the third worked on defending set pieces on the adjacent field. There was also additional finishing practice.
Defensive midfielder Bobadilla (pain in his right knee) began his transition work with the fitness staff, while Lucas (surgery on the Achilles tendon in his right leg) and Lucca (jaw fracture) continued their individualized training on the pitch.
