Arsenal host Chelsea at the Emirates in the first clash between traditional big four (or five, or six, however you want to phrase it) clubs of the Premier League season. In life, you're either a red or a blue. **** nal vs. Chelsea is about as red vs. blue as they come. This will be the first meeting between Mikel Arteta and Xabi Alonso, notable because the pair are lifelong friends. They played on teams growing up together in Spain.
Both clubs have two wins from two to start the season. **** nal have done it with organization and defense, as you'd expect. They've not conceded a goal from either match (Hull City haven't conceded from three). Chelsea's attack has started the season quickly with seven goals scored from their opening two matches. They've also conceded five over those games, looking particularly vulnerable to crosses and set pieces.
Many expected new manager Xabi Alonso to setup his side to have plenty of the ball, as he did in previous coaching stops. In last weekend's 4-3 win over Brighton, Chelsea had 25% possession and completed just over 200 passes to Brighton's 590. The Blues attack quickly and directly. I'll be interested to see how they match up against **** nal's more robust defense and organization.
Arsenal are unbeaten in 11 straight matches in all competitions against Chelsea (8-3-0). The Blues last win against the Gunners came in August 2022. There will be just two players starting for their same teams from the starting lineups that day — Reece James and Bukayo Saka. Kai Havertz is also likely to start but, as we know, switched sides in the interim. The **** nal lineup from that match, woo boy — Leno, Cedric, Holding, Mari, Tierney, Xhaka, Lokonga, Saka, Smith Rowe, Pepe, Martinelli.
I'll be keeping a close watch on Bukayo Saka, who has scored in both matches this season for **** nal but has a pretty dismal record against Chelsea. He'll no longer be running at Marc Cucurella, who like him or not, rate him or not, always did well keeping Saka quiet. Chelsea's defense has looked unorganized way more often than Xabi Alonso would like, so if there ever was a time for Bukayo to improve his output against the Blues, it'd be today.

Andrea Locatelli's 2026 has slid far enough that Yamaha is reshuffling his garage midseason. Starting from the French Round at Magny-Cours, the Pata Maxus Yamaha rider will work with a new crew chief, Emanuele Martinelli, replacing Giulio Nava for the final four rounds of the year, WorldSBK.com confirmed.
Niccolo Canepa, Yamaha Motor Europe's road racing sporting manager, spoke to the WorldSBK world feed during FP1 at Magny-Cours and did not dress up the situation. "On Locatelli's side, the results have been lower than the expectation, we can't hide from that," Canepa said. "We needed a bit of a reset to help him regain his confidence. To reshuffle the people in the garage could be a positive thing."
Andrea Locatelli walks the Magny-Cours track with his new Crew Chief Emanuele Martinelli.
The move comes after a campaign that has fallen well short of what the #55 delivered a year ago. Locatelli sits outside the top 10 in the 2026 standings, a stark drop from the fourth-place finish he managed in 2025, when he battled Alvaro Bautista and Danilo Petrucci for third and finally broke through for his first WorldSBK win in Race 2 at ****** en. This season he has yet to reach the podium at all. His best result is a fifth in Race 2 at Phillip Island, with his only other top-six coming in Race 1 at ****** en. Locatelli faces his first season without a podium in WSBK.

Mikel Arteta has reacted to ****** nal's failure to sign a top-class forward during the summer transfer window by insisting he is happy with the squad he has at the Emirates Stadium.
Premier League champions ****** nal missed out on targets Morgan Rogers, Vinicius Junior and Julian Alvarez, while only bringing in Greek winger Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge.
Meanwhile, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli all left the north London club to reduce the Gunners' options up front.
But ****** nal manager Arteta, speaking to reporters on Friday, said: "I love the players that we have, that is for sure. It is what it is, this is what we have and we already have some very, very good players.
"Let's trust them and let's make sure we are right behind them, and I will do everything we can to help the incredible talent that we have."

Gabriel Martinelli has been officially confirmed as an Al-Hilal player following the completion of his £60 million ($81.2 million) move from ****** nal.
The 25-year-old Brazilian winger departs the Emirates for a club-record transfer fee after the Premier League champions opted to revamp their attack during the transfer window. The £60 million figure comfortably surpasses the previous record for an ****** nal sale, which was established by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's £35 million ($45.3 million) move to Liverpool back in 2017.
Martinelli's future had been uncertain for months, with speculation connecting ****** nal to some exceptionally talented and high-priced left-wing options, including Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Junior, as per The Mirror.

Gabriel Martinelli says he felt like "an adopted Hale End boy" during his seven years at ******* nal.
Martinelli has joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal for a fee of £60m after being told by manager Mikel Arteta he was not part of his plans for this season.
The 25-year-old joined the Gunners from Brazilian side Ituano in 2019 as an 18-year-old and made 278 appearances for the club, scoring 62 goals and providing 36 ******* ists.
He made 53 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 11 goals, as the Gunners won the top-flight ******* le for the first time since 2004.
"When I arrived here, seven years ago, I was just a boy who had only recently turned 18," Martinelli wrote in his farewell message posted on social media.

LONDON (AP) — Brazil forward Gabriel Martinelli ended a seven-year spell at ***** nal by joining Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal on Thursday.
Arsenal announced the deal on X, saying: "Thank you for everything and best of luck, Gabi."
No fee was disclosed but media reports put it at 60 million pounds ($81.2 million), which would make the 25-year-old Martinelli the English Premier League champion's most lucrative transfer departure.
It eclipses former midfielder Alex Oxlade Chamberlain's 35 million pounds ($46.3 million) exit to Liverpool in 2017.
Martinelli's move to the Saudi Pro League comes after fellow left-sided forward Leandro Trossard was sold to Besiktas last month.

Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli has joined Saudi side Al-Hilal, the Premier League champions announced Thursday.
No fee was disclosed but British media reports said the deal was worth a guaranteed £60 million ($81 million).
That would make 25-year-old Brazil international Martinelli the most expensive player to leave the London club, following Alex Oxlade Chamberlain's £35 million exit to Liverpool in 2017.
Martinelli has signed a four-year deal with Al-Hilal, who are currently joint-top of the Saudi Pro League with Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr.
"Gabriel Martinelli has joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal on a permanent transfer," said a statement on **** nal's website.

With the summer transfer window set to close within the next two days, some significant news for ****** nal has emerged on Sunday as the exits of Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, and Fabio Vieira have all been reported. Jesus will be joining Barcelona, while Martinelli is set to become ****** nal's record transfer with a move to Saudi side Al Hilal. Vieira will return to Hamburg on a permanent move after a successful loan spell last season.
The Fabio Vieira move is one that has been in the making for the last few seasons. He came into the ****** nal side from Porto in the 2022 summer window as an under-the-radar move with a high ceiling. While he displayed his technical quality at times, he just never seemed to adapt to the more physical nature of the Premier League, and he was soon in the window shop for the Gunners. A loan back to Porto in 24/25 was followed by his spell with Hamburg in 25/26 where he shone for the Bundesliga side.
The one drawback of the Hamburg loan was that any fee for a permanent move was never going to majorly move the needle. Considering their record fee for an incoming player was €14m for Filip Kostic, the expectation was that they would not come close to meeting ****** nal's original valuation of €20m. After negotiations this week, the Gunners brought their asking price down and reached an agreement of €9m for the midfielder.
Gabriel Jesus' also saw his role in the side lessen over the past two seasons due in large part to injuries. His addition in the summer of 2022 after joining from Manchester City was a landmark one in the Mikel Arteta era. His arrival took ****** nal from a being simply a competitive side to one that consistent challenged for the ****** le. The first 6 months of his first season were sublime as he immediately elevated the attack with his exceptional ability to receive the ball in tight ****** es and link up with the front line.
Unfortunately, he suffered a knee injury in the 2022 World Cup that began a series of ongoing issues he never seemed to overcome. The cycle that followed was as predictable as it was frustrating. After recovering from an injury, he would show flashes of his brilliance before encountering another setback. The signing of Viktor Gyökeres last summer was a major indicator that the club was preparing for him to take a more diminished role in the attack, and a move seemed inevitable.

Marcus Rashford's future has moved back into focus in the closing days of the transfer window, with TeamTalk reporting that both ****** nal and Barcelona are tracking developments around the Manchester United forward.
The current picture is relatively clear. United have reintegrated Rashford, handed him the number nine shirt and used him from the bench in the opening-day 2-1 defeat at Hull City. Internally, the plan is for him to remain. Even so, the report states that club sources "have not ruled out the prospect of Marcus Rashford leaving the club before next Tuesday's transfer deadline", a line that will inevitably attract attention given the scale of the player and the clubs involved.
Arsenal's interest appears to be one of the more notable elements here. With Gabriel Martinelli having departed for Al-Hilal, the need for left-sided attacking reinforcement is obvious. Rashford is described as "a player ****** nal have admired for a long time", and that alone makes this worth watching in the final days of the market.
The key detail is that a move remains possible rather than probable. United are "currently planning with Rashford and remain keen to retain him", while any shift would likely depend on two conditions, a suitable offer arriving and United being able to restructure their attacking options before the deadline. That point feels especially relevant given Joshua Zirkzee is heading towards Fiorentina, a development that would leave United requiring careful cover if another forward departs.
Barcelona's long-standing interest has not gone away. According to the report, they "have maintained a line of communication with Rashford's camp", despite the player's return to first-team involvement at Old Trafford. That contact matters, particularly because Barcelona are said to remain "huge admirers of Rashford" after his loan spell at the Nou Camp last season.

The board at La Liga giants Real Madrid this week received fresh contact from their counterparts at Premier League champions ******* nal, regarding the situation of young striker Endrick.
This comes as the Gunners seek out reinforcements in the final third ahead of the imminent departure of Gabriel Martinelli.
Endrick's future in Spain's capital has of course proven a headline talking point at Real Madrid across the summer to date. After the 20-year-old returned to base at Valdebebas following a fruitful loan stint in France with Lyon, it was suggested that another temporary departure could be on the cards.
José Mourinho has since moved to ******* ure that his young goalscorer will be going nowhere before the window slams shut, but speculation surrounding Endrick's name has nevertheless continued to circulate.
And as alluded to above, late this week, the former Palmeiras sensation has been linked with another of European football's leading clubs. As per a report from TEAMtalk:

Bacary Sagna has tipped Christos Tzolis not to suffer frequent injuries because the attacker knows how to avoid getting kicked during matches.
The Greek star has made a brilliant start to life as an ****** nal player and has continued to impress during the first weeks of his time in North London. He joined them from Club Brugge, and most people would feel that the quality in the Belgian league is nowhere near what is obtainable in England, so he would need time to adapt.
However, that has not been the case, as Tzolis enjoyed a good pre-season and has started the campaign strongly as well, which is good news for ****** nal. He has been a starter for their team since moving to the club, and the winger will maintain that role as long as he continues to perform well.
With Gabriel Martinelli on his way out of the club, Tzolis will get plenty of chances to play, especially if no replacement for the Brazilian is signed by the club. That could increase his risk of injury, but Sagna does not expect that to be the case.
The former ****** nal defender believes Tzolis is intelligent enough to protect himself during matches while continuing to contribute at a high level. His ability to avoid challenges could prove valuable during a long campaign.

James Benge of CBS Sports reported on Tuesday that Al Hilal and ***** nal were closing in on an agreement for the transfer of Gabriel Martinelli, with the fee expected to be around €58m (£49.7m) guaranteed, with €8m (£6.9m) in further bonuses.
The total package of £56.5m would represent a club-record sale for ***** nal, but Benge added that it's all subject to the player's final approval.
Sami Mokbel then confirmed for the BBC that ***** nal are closing in on a minimum £50m deal to sell Martinelli, with talks advanced and a conclusion imminent ahead of the winger making a formal decision.

Al-Hilal are not actively pursuing Chelsea winger Pedro Neto with the Saudi side focused on a deal for Gabriel Martinelli.
Martinelli leads the shortlist for the Saudi Pro League side who have opened club-to-club contract with ******* nal over a deal. Al-Hilal had explored a move for Neto earlier in the window, and also admirer Juventus' Francisco Conceição, but a move for Martinelli is now the priority.
Neto had been named as an option to leave Chelsea this summer, with both Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur considering moves, alongside Al-Hilal's interest,
However, Martinelli is viewed as an easier deal to conclude having entered the final 12 months of his deal. ******* nal are open to his sale, with Martinelli not included in the Premier League squad to face Coventry City on Friday night. The Brazil international has also 'opened doors' to a move to Saudi Arabia, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Arsenal value Martinelli at around £60m, having turned down a £38.4m bid from Turkish champions Galatasaray earlier in the summer.

Arsenal have held talks with Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal over the sale of winger Gabriel Martinelli.
The Brazil international is free to leave the club this summer, with manager Mikel Arteta making it clear to the attacker that he is not in his plans.
Turkish club Galatasaray showed interest in Martinelli earlier this summer, but the Brazilian would not consider a move to Istanbul, despite **** nal receiving a 45m euro (£38.54m) bid.
As reported by BBC Sport's senior football correspondent Sami Mokbel, Al-Hilal have communicated that they are willing to bid higher than Galatasaray's offer.
Martinelli made 53 appearances last season, scoring 11 goals, but he was left out of the squad for the champions Premier League opener against Coventry City on Friday.

Ian Wright says Gabriel Martinelli deserves "more respect" from **** nal and questioned the way the club have handled the winger's potential exit.
Martinelli made 53 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 11 goals, as the Gunners won the Premier League **** le.
But he was left out of the squad for their league opener against Coventry on Friday, which the Gunners won 3-0.
And the Brazil international, 25, was also omitted from last weekend's Community Shield victory against Manchester City, with **** nal having invited offers for the forward.
"The way Martinelli is being treated at the moment, it really makes me feel uncomfortable," former **** nal striker Wright told Sky Sports.

As reported by Alfredo Pedullà, while there is reported interest in ******* nal forward Gabriel Martinelli from Serie A clubs, nothing concrete has materialised to even suggest a proposal is on the horizon.
Roma's name has been linked with the Brazil winger, though for them he has never really been an option. Napoli are expected to have taken a look but have not shown an inclination to test the waters at the Emirates.
Inter, meanwhile, have been named in Brazilian papers as his strongest suitors, but no concrete proposal seems to be coming anytime soon. They're expected to be focusing on outgoings after sealing Curtis Jones' signing from Liverpool, and may only consider an opportunistic move near deadline day.
Valued by Transfermarkt at €45 million, the 25-year-old is now in the final year of his £180,000-per-week contract at ******* nal.
Martinelli had been expected to be on the move even before the arrival of Christos Tzolis, who has started the season on fire and looks set to make that left-wing berth his own.

Mikel Arteta says that some of his **** nal squad "need to face that reality" that their futures lie elsewhere, but expects Myles Lewis-Skelly to stay at the club.
The midfielder, who can also play at full-back, has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester United this summer.
But Arteta does not foresee the 19-year-old leaving the Gunners before Deadline Day on on 1st September.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of **** nal's Premier League opener at Coventry City, the Basque native said he was "100 per cent" confident that Lewis-Skelly would remain at the north London outfit.
Tough conversations will need to be had with other members of the **** nal squad, however. Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Ethan Nwaneri have all been heavily linked with transfers this summer.

Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in a move for PSG's Bradley Barcola, and Carlton Cole believes the winger is a player the Gunners need to add to their squad.
Barcola wants to leave PSG, while the French club is prepared to sell him provided the price is right, as they look to reinvest the money into their squad. His situation has attracted interest from several clubs, with Liverpool currently appearing to be the most serious suitors.
Liverpool have shown the strongest interest in Barcola over the last few weeks and could beat ****** nal to his signature. However, the Reds have not yet completed a deal, leaving the door open for ****** nal to approach before the transfer window closes.
The Gunners could become more active in their pursuit of Barcola if they manage to offload Gabriel Martinelli. The French winger would provide another option on the left side and could add further quality to an ****** nal attack that has already been strengthened.
Barcola has won back-to-back Champions League ****** les in Paris and would bring that winning experience to the Emirates if ****** nal manage to sign him. Cole believes the winger could be an ideal addition as the Gunners look to complete their squad.

Arsenal are looking into whether a deal for Juventus' Kenan Yildiz is possible in this window, as Mikel Arteta seeks to complete his transfer plans for an **** ault on both the Champions League and Premier League for the new season.
The Basque has long identified the left side attack as a priority position to upgrade, with Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr having been the ideal target. The Brazilian's decision to stay at the Bernabeu caused **** nal to reconsider the situation, and some thought has been given to waiting until either January or next summer when other deals could become possible.
The club would probably have moved for Bournemouth's Jan Kroupi had it not been for his injury, and that does represent an option for January.
Yildiz has nevertheless been high up on their list of targets, with Arteta especially keen on the Turkish international. The fact he is 21 years old would also represent a shift back to signing talents who can evolve, after two moves in Ezri Konsa and Bruno Guimaraes of buying players in their prime.
The **** nal hierarchy do want to ensure more outgoings, while Juventus would be hard line on a player who is one of their burgeoning talents. They would want upwards of £60m, and also have to consider fan backlash. One solution that has been raised is Gabriel Martinelli potentially going the other way, but that would still require considerable negotiation.

James McNicholas reports for The Athletic that there are no active negotiations between ****** nal and Galatasaray over a potential transfer for Victor Osimhen.
McNicholas confirms the two clubs have been in dialogue over several players, but it seems this isn't a deal they're currently negotiating.

Matt Law had initially reported for The Telegraph that during talks between ****** nal and Galatasaray over Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri, the topic of Osimhen's availability was raised.

Arsenal look set to hand Bruno Guimaraes his first start when they face Manchester City in the Community Shield at the Principality Stadium. After stepping off the bench in the midweek win over Como, the Brazil midfielder is now in line to begin a game that will offer a proper early measure of Mikel Arteta's side.
There is no mystery here. ****** nal have had to manage the return of several players after their extended summer break following the World Cup. Guimaraes, Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli only returned to training at the start of the week, so caution has been the obvious approach. Even so, Arteta has made it clear they are ready to feature. "They will be available," Arteta said at his pre-match conference. "They trained with us today, they will train tomorrow. If they are in the condition we expect them to be, they will be involved."
Photo IMAGO
That points to Guimaraes getting the nod alongside Myles Lewis-Skelly, who has done the hard yards all summer and started every pre-season match. It is a sensible pairing, one offering control, legs and a bit of bite. ****** nal need that against Manchester City, because these games are usually decided by who gives the ball away less often.
At the back, ****** nal remain without Jurrien Timber and William Saliba. That leaves Ben White and Cristhian Mosquera as the likely options on the right side of defence, with Gabriel and Riccardo Calafiori expected to complete the back line in front of David Raya.

#arsenal #city #side #summer

Gabriel Martinelli is the subject of transfer interest from Galatasaray after they failed to sign Rafa Leao, but the ****** nal man does not want to leave and certainly does not want to move to Turkiye.
In recent seasons, Martinelli's form has not been the best, and there is a good chance that he will remain on the bench for Christos Tzolis to start games at ****** nal. That happened several times last season, when Leandro Trossard was preferred to the Brazilian winger, but the Belgian has been sold and replaced by the Greek star.
Although ****** nal are interested in players such as Bradley Barcola, the Gunners will stick with Martinelli if he stays, but they are more than happy to sell him to Gala.
The Turkish side can also offer him a good salary, which could be much better than what he earns at ****** nal at the moment, but he does not want to move to the Turkish club.
Martinelli appears determined to continue his career elsewhere rather than in Turkiye if he eventually leaves ****** nal. Despite the potential financial benefits of a move, the Brazilian winger has no desire to join Galatasaray at this stage of his career.

#arsenal #martinelli #want #galatasaray

Gabriel Martinelli has made his position clear, and that matters more than the size of the bid. According to talkSPORT, the **** nal winger has no intention of leaving north London for Galatasaray, despite the Turkish club putting forward a £38.4m verbal offer that would have gone down as a club-record sale.
That is the headline, but the more interesting point sits underneath it. **** nal were open to offers. Not desperate to sell, not actively pushing him out, but clearly willing to listen. In modern squad building, that tells you plenty. If the right number arrives and the right replacement is lined up, sentiment does not enter the conversation.
Martinelli, though, has drawn the line. He has "no interest in plying his trade in the Super Lig", and his camp have relayed that directly. So for now, **** nal keep a player they were prepared to discuss moving on, and Mikel Arteta keeps another option on the left flank heading into the new season.
The key detail in this story is simple. **** nal were "only prepared to sanction an exit if they sign another left winger to replace him". That replacement has not arrived. Vinicius Junior stayed at Real Madrid, Morgan Rogers joined Chelsea, and other names including Kenan Yildiz, Julian Alvarez, Iliman Ndiaye and Eli Junior Kroupi have been monitored.
That is a long list, which usually means one thing, a club scanning the market rather than executing a fixed plan. It also explains why Martinelli remains in place. You do not let a winger go without certainty on what comes next, especially before a season starts.

#arsenal #junior

Arsenal have turned their focus towards Victor Osimhen as they look to add another high-level attacking option before the transfer window closes, with the Nigeria international now understood to be the leading name on the club's shortlist.
The north London side have already strengthened key areas of Mikel Arteta's squad with the arrivals of Illan Meslier, Christos Tzolis and Bruno Guimaraes. Even so, there remains a strong appetite inside the club to add further firepower. **** nal explored ambitious moves for Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Jr earlier in the window, but with those pursuits failing to materialise, attention has shifted elsewhere.
As first reported by Sebastien Denis, **** nal now regard Osimhen as their priority attacking target. The indication is that Arteta has made his preference clear to the recruitment department, and there is confidence a deal can be put together if the conditions align.
Arsenal's current forward line already contains quality, and Viktor Gyokeres delivered strongly after his £64m arrival from Sporting last summer, finishing with 21 goals in all competitions as **** nal ended a 22-year wait for the Premier League **** le and also reached the Champions League final. Yet squad planning rarely stands still at the top end of the game.
With uncertainty surrounding Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli, **** nal are **** sing how best to protect their depth and raise the ceiling of their attack. That has brought Osimhen firmly into view. Talks between **** nal and Galatasaray have been reported, with the Turkish club also linked to Martinelli, a factor that could add another layer to discussions if movement develops on both fronts.

Arsenal were beaten 3-2 by Borussia Dortmund at the Emirates Stadium in their latest pre-season outing.
Two goals in the first half an hour stunned ***** nal, who have won the Emirates Cup trophy for the last four years on the spin but have lost out this year.
Arsenal did get one back through Ethan Nwaneri, before Jaone Gadou fired the German side two goals ahead once more. A Gyokeres penalty reduced the deficit to one again, but it was not enough for ***** nal to take home the trophy.
Arsenal thought they had equalised in the final minute of the match when Gabriel Martinelli fired home, but the flag was up for offside.
Here are five of the main takeaways from the match…

Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in a move for Endrick, according to The Sun, with the Real Madrid forward now potentially allowed to leave the club this summer because he may struggle to feature in many matches.
Last season, Endrick found game time difficult to secure, which resulted in him joining Lyon on loan during the second half of the campaign as he attempted to strengthen his case for a place at the World Cup. He ultimately secured his place in the squad.
Endrick has now returned to Madrid and is working under a new manager. However, there is still no certainty that he will receive regular game time, with Madrid continuing to strengthen their squad in preparation for Jose Mourinho's second spell.
The manager has added players to almost every position in the team, and the report states that Madrid are now prepared to allow Endrick to leave the club this summer. ******* nal are among the clubs interested in taking advantage of the situation.
The Gunners are expecting some departures in attack this summer, with Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli expected to leave the club in search of regular game time. Both players could struggle to secure enough opportunities if they remain at ******* nal.

Mikel Arteta is at the Emirates Stadium with the Gunners. Galatasaray are actively preparing contingency plans in the transfer market, with ***** nal winger Gabriel Martinelli emerging as their top alternative should the Turkish champions fail to land AC Milan star Rafael Leao, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Istanbul club have made signing a marquee left-sided attacker a central priority for manager Okan Buruk this summer. While Galatasaray remain firmly in the race for Leao, negotiations have become increasingly complex due to intense competition from rivals Fenerbahce and AC Milan's strict €50m valuation.
Martinelli, who is a 'real threat in front of goal', has moved to the top of Galatasaray's shortlist as a high-calibre alternative. The Brazil international faces an uncertain future in North London, with ***** nal seeking a marquee left winger.
Galatasaray intermediaries have begun preliminary enquiries regarding Martinelli's willingness to move to Super Lig football. While ***** nal are not actively pushing the winger out, the club's hierarchy could be open to substantial offers.
For Galatasaray, convincing a player of Martinelli's pedigree would represent a major coup. The Turkish champions can offer guaranteed regular minutes, a starring role in their domestic ***** le defence, and Champions League football—factors that could appeal to the Brazilian as he looks to safeguard his place in the national team.

Arsenal have confirmed on social media that Martin Odegaard is back in training at their London Colney training centre, making his comeback for pre-season after his post-World Cup holiday.
The rest of the senior squad are currently in Dublin for the friendly match against Real Betis on Wednesday evening, so Odegaard hasn't quite linked up with his teammates yet. The ****** nal captain is set to miss Wednesday's friendly.
But that's no surprise, considering Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli made their own late comebacks last week, and neither of them were in the subsequent matchday squad against Girona.
The ****** nal medical and fitness staff clearly want to give players a few days to get up to speed before throwing them into match situations.

Well folks, it's that time again. August is here and so begins ******* nal's slate of preseason matches. Today, the Gunners face Girona to cap off a week of training in Spain. They take on Real Betis (and Hector Bellerin) in Dublin on Wednesday, August 5th, Dortmund next Sunday in the Emirates Cup, and Como on August 12th before the Community Shield on August 16th. The Premier League season kicks off in less than three weeks — the 21st home to newly promoted Coventry.
Arsenal – Kepa, White, Mosquera, Hincapie, Calafiori, Lewis-Skelly, Havertz, Nwaneri, Dowman, Tzolis, Gyokeres
Everyone should be prepared to overreact wildly to a lineup several players off the first XI. Because that's what you do in the preseason, after all. None of Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Magalhaes, Martin Ødegaard, Declan Rice, Ebere Eze, Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke, David Raya, Mikel Merino, Martin Zubimendi, nor William Saliba are in today's squad.
The Brazilians rejoined the team in the last day or two. Gabriel Martinelli got married a few days ago in Greece but is back with the squad. Martin Ødegaard is due back next week. The England players after that and the Spanish contingent last of all. William Saliba will miss a fair bit of time recovering from the back injury he played through at the end of the season and during the World Cup.
The Gunners are also expected to do a fair bit of business before the start of the season. A move for Bruno Guimaraes seems close. The rumors are swirling around a massive move for Vini Jr. The club intends to sign a CB to cover during Saliba's absence. They may also sign a right back — Jurrien Timber is still recovering from the groin problem that kept him out of the World Cup.
