New York Fashion Week is here again! From September 10 through September 15, the city's biggest designers will unveil their Spring/Summer 2027 collections, and the action-packed week will be followed, as per tradition, by shows taking place in London, Milan, and Paris.
Over the past few years, some designers have chosen to start the festivities a bit early, and the same was true this season, with houses like Ralph Lauren, Cult Gaia, and Rachel Comey all showing their collections ahead of the official CFDA calendar.
And while the schedule may be stretching, so is the map of show locations. This year, presentations will take fashion fans across the greater NYC metropolitan area, with Collina Strada hosting its show at Storm King Art Center in New Windsor, New York, while threeASFOUR will present its show at the Mana Contemporary center in Jersey City.
This year also features a few exciting debuts, like Connor Ives, who is showing in his home country for the first time ever, in a switch from his usual slot during London Fashion Week. Yesterday also saw Henry Zankov present his debut collection for Diane von Furstenberg, where he took over as artistic director this past May.

Gloria Steinem, who passed away at the age of 92 on September 2, 2026, was many things: co-founder of "Ms." magazine, second-wave feminist icon, and even stepmother to Christian Bale. (Who knew?) She was also, throughout her life, a serious fashionista. Some may believe such a passion is necessarily at odds with a dedication to feminism, and Steinem certainly had many critics who questioned her focus on fashion, but she viewed her style as an extension of her activism, not a conflict of interest. After a 6-4 0-6 6-3 win over Elise Mertens in the final, Diane Parry spoke on court about how she didn't have the highest of expectations entering the Abierto GNP Seguros, WTA Monterrey, saying "I came here last minute with almost nothing and didn't know what to expect"
Parry's ability to strike the ball from the baseline and work out of difficult situations showed the 23-year-old can win matches anywhere, as she bounced back from being bageled in the second set to focus in and get past the veteran Mertens. Parry also showcased a great one-handed backhand. Some of her best shotmaking came after she took a medical timeout in the second set and needed medical attention to her lower back.

The early round action at WTA Monterrey, the Abierto GNP Seguros has lead to a pair of compelling semifinals on Friday. Diane Parry from France will take on #5 seed Ann Li, while the rising Nikola Bartunkova takes on the tournament favorite, Elise Mertens.
The late-night quarterfinal at WTA Monterrey saw Mertens power past Yuliia Starodubtseva 6-1 6-4, as she dominated on her service games and didn't face a single break point. Mertens needed three sets to get past Panna Udvardy in the previous round, similarly performing better on serve.
Mertens, 30, is nearing her second consecutive season of 30+ match wins and has put together her best result this week since the quarterfinals at Wimbledon. With the US Open draw already made, Mertens is set to face Kaitlin Quevedo in the first round, and could face Naomi Osaka in round 3.

Kimberly Williams-Paisley just honored her former on-screen mom, Diane Keaton, in the sweetest way. The actress revealed that she bought Keaton's hat and gloves at auction and wore them in a touching Annie Hall-inspired photo shoot.

"While my friends and I were carefully unpacking these items and getting ready to shoot this, a gorgeous, gigantic bald eagle landed in a nearby tree, stayed for a moment and then flew off (see video). Nebraska softball finalized its coaching staff on Wednesday. Head coach Rhonda Revelle signed an extension that runs through the 2031 season. The program also finalized several previously announced coaching changes.
Revelle earned the extension after leading Nebraska to one of its best seasons in history, bringing the team back to the Women's College World Series for the first time since 2013. The Huskers totaled a school-record 52 wins in Revelle's 34th season as Nebraska's head coach, helping solidify her as the winningest coach in Nebraska athletics history.
"As we said when we had the privilege of naming the field at Bowlin Stadium in her honor, Rhonda Revelle is Nebraska Softball. Rhonda is not only a great leader of our softball program, but she is a world-class individual who elevates our entire athletic department in many ways. The trajectory of our program is at an all-time high coming off a record-breaking season and we are excited for the years ahead under the leadership of Rhonda and her outstanding staff."
Revelle also re-worked the responsibilities of her coaching staff, elevating existing staff members and bringing in a slew of former players as ***** istants. This comes following the retirement of long-time ***** istant Lori Sippel in June.
Diane Miller has been elevated to ***** ociate head coach, and Mandie Nocita was promoted to ***** istant coach. Olivia Ferrell and Jordy Frahm also join the staff and will serve as ***** istant coaches. Hannah Coor and Hannah Camenzind have been added as graduate ***** istants. Lauren Camenzind will be a graduate manager for the Huskers.

Spearheaded by Hyundai Motor Group, the MOU establishes a collaborative framework to build a comprehensive, self-sustaining hydrogen ecosystem in Hong Kong, targeted to be fully operational by the end of 2030. The collaboration will prioritise the development of waste-to-hydrogen technologies to convert landfill gas into clean energy, along with an immediate focus on piloting a liquefied hydrogen refuelling infrastructure. To enable full value chain integration, it also targets the deployment of customised hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles, including tour and airport shuttle buses.
