She has recently been named a Global Ambassador for the Lima 2027 Pan American Games, and the countdown to the Lima 2027 Pan American and Parapan American Games has already begun. The spectacular event is expected to kick off at 3 PM on Thursday, Aug. 6, with Peruvians set to join in the celebrations.
Biles has shared some updates on her Instagram stories through a few photos, showing the US Olympic gymnast wearing New Balance shoes (model 9060), in a black outfit with matching goggles. From the background of the pictures, it looks like she is at the ancient Incan fortress and agricultural terraces of Ollantaytambo, located in Peru's Sacred Valley.
"Hi, everyone! It's so nice to be in your beautiful country. I can't wait to meet you all!" she said in a video post on X.
"I'm so excited to visit Peru for the first time to celebrate the start of the one-year countdown to the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima," Biles said (h/t Panam Sports). "I can't wait to see you all at Lima's Plaza Mayor on August 6… See you there".

Taiwan Semiconductor has a large client list that includes Nvidia's primary competitors. It also has exposure to other industrial markets, and chips for everything from automobiles to smartphones. Nvidia, on the other hand, is at this point nearly a pure-play investment in artificial intelligence. While Nvidia has other products, the reality is that the vast majority of its revenue now comes from data center-related items. This focus is making Nvidia a boatload of money and has propelled it to the position of the world's largest company by market cap. So clearly, its bet on data center processors is paying off.
However, while that kind of business concentration can be incredible during boom times, it can be a disaster when spending in that focus area slows. There are no signs that will occur in the data center ****** e anytime soon, but when it does, it will hammer Nvidia.

Simone Biles is recovering from another medical procedure just weeks after revealing she suffered what she described as a life-threatening health emergency.
The Olympic gymnastics star shared a photo on Instagram July 23 showing herself in medical scrubs alongside husband Jonathan Owens, revealing that the Indianapolis Colts safety spent part of his 31st birthday taking her to an appointment.
"His birthday but he takes me to get my procedure," Biles wrote, adding several heart emojis.

The India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement gives Indian exporters duty-free access to most ‌British tariff lines, benefiting sectors such as textiles, leather, footwear, marine products, gems and jewellery, and processed foods.

We are Tommy ******* is days away from Texas football being back and it’s another Hot Take Tuesday. Today, I want to focus on the defense and the chaos they could create this season. Will Muschamp has been added as the “head coach of the defense” and the philosophy of his defense is clear: wreck havoc. They are going to play an aggressive style that will thrive on takeaways, sacks and TFLs. I expect it to lead to multiple defensive scores in 2026.
Texas is going to play a downhill, aggressive style of defense. They have the guys to do it, led by Colin Simmons. He’s forced his fair share of forced fumbles, including one against Arkansas that led to Texas’ lone defensive TD last year. This year, I expect his counterpart Lance Jackson to make his fair share of game changing plays on the QB. The pass rush will play its role but the difference in this take is in the LB core to me.
Rasheem Biles was the crown jewel of the defensive portal class and he comes in with big-play ability. He’s coming off a year where he racked up 4.5 sacks, 2 FFs, 2 INTs, 4 PDs and two defensive TDs by himself. I expect him to take at least one interception or fumble back to the house this season. Add in Ty’Anthony Smith, who had two INTs against Michigan and you have a duo that’ll absolutely have chances to get in the endzone this season.
Finally, this secondary is going to be a man-coverage, ball skills based unit. The cornerback trio of Bo Mascoe, Graceson Littleton and Kade Phillips all bring strong ball skills to the table. Jelani McDonald and Derek Williams Jr. both have shown big-play ability in the past. This unit will absolutely take the ball away and I could see a pick-six or two this season.
This Texas defense does have some minor questions. One of those, to me, is not: Will they create turnovers? That feels like a given for this team heading into this season, especially considering the approach. Simmons and Jackson are going to be encouraged to attack the passer. Biles and Smith are going to be ready to make big plays in coverage at LB. The secondary will be given the green light to attack and I believe it’ll benefit every player.

Demand has been patchy. Losses have stung. Car producers have been compelled to re-evaluate how swiftly they should invest in battery factories, electric lorries and software-heavy automobiles.

If Biles can replicate his numbers from Pittsburgh he should be a force for head coach Steve Sarkisian. He will also be motivated to raise his stock with the NFL Draft less than a year away. Regardless of how the depth chart plays out, the Longhorns should get a boost with Biles in the mix.
