Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are stepping into a quiet new chapter together. Following their wedding ceremony, the famous couple is prioritizing quality time and simple routines over grand public appearances. Fans are used to seeing them on world tours or at high-profile football games. However, their everyday routines in their newly married life have quietly shifted toward a peaceful one away from the spotlight.
According to a report by the Daily Mail, the pop star is fully enjoying her role as a new wife. Taylor Swift is focusing on simple daily pleasures and staying close to Travis Kelce. The latter is currently busy with NFL preseason preparations in Missouri. Rather than being separated by their demanding schedules, she plans to stay by her husband's side while he continues his football commitments.
Inside their home in Kansas City, the couple has settled into a comfortable rhythm focused on relaxation, warm meals, and family routines. Swift has been spending her quiet days learning Italian, enjoying white wine, and trying out new recipes. She often bakes bread from scratch and cooks delicious Italian dishes for dinner.
Their home is also graced with their beloved pets, including Swift's three cats and Kelce's Samoyed dog. The animals have all adapted seamlessly to living together under one roof, adding to the couple's quiet home environment.
In addition to home cooking, the newlyweds maintain a consistent fitness routine. Both stars understand that their careers demand peak physical condition, so they make daily exercise a shared activity. They regularly mix up their training with power walks, swimming, and weightlifting. Kelce has even been teaching his wife a few things on the golf course, sharing his love for the sport with her.

The English landscape has been scorched by the multiple heatwaves this summer has brought, and it transpires that King Charles' beloved Windsor Castle hasn't escaped the devastation. A brand-new aerial shot, taken from an aeroplane window, has revealed the extent of the damage on the land surrounding the 956-year-old building.
The photograph was shared by Royal Collection trust on Monday, and the caption read: "If you're flying into Heathrow this summer keep an eye out for a special view of Windsor Castle that not everyone will get to see. These fantastic shots of the Castle, taken from a plane window, were shared with us recently.
"Did you spot the bird's-eye view of the Venus Garden with its perfectly laid out circular patterns?"
Royal fans were quick to point out the burned yellowing grass, with one simply writing: "I see drought..." and another adding: "Aside from everything being horribly dry, it really looks amazing from above." A third penned: "I just can't get over how DRY everything is!" with a fourth commenting: "it's strange to see it all parched."
Luckily, some of the trees and decorative hedges have retained their verdant nature, but the grass is clearly blanched.

Just when you thought Starbucks couldn't make its cult-fave Pumpkin Spice Latte any more enticing, the chain went and put its signature bevvy in the hands of Off Campus star Belmont Cameli.
To celebrate the August 25 return of the PSL, Starbucks dropped a promo commercial starring the widely beloved actor alongside another icon, Martha Stewart.
"It smells like my house in the fall," Martha gushes as she clutches her PSL, topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice. "It's perfect." That's when Belmont appears on the screen with his own iced version. He shoots Martha a flirty glance and declares, "You would get it hot."
Her response? So Martha: "Should I know him?"
Naturally, fans are losing it over the on-screen exchange—and, well, Belmont Cameli in general. "DOES HE COUNT AS A TOPPING?" one fan wrote. "I feel like a dog hearing all my favorite words," another chimed in.

Melissa Gilbert has made a heartbreaking admission about her experience as a child star as she calls for sweeping changes to protect young performers in Hollywood.
The Little House on the Prairie actress, 62, began working on the beloved series when she was just 10 years old, but has now revealed the devastating reality she faced behind the scenes following the death of her father when she was 11.
Writing in an emotional essay ***** led Enough Is Enough, Melissa recalled returning to work on the hit show just months after losing her dad, Paul Gilbert.
"My father died when I was just 11 years old and I was back working on Little House within months," she wrote. "And not one single adult on that set discussed it with me or offered condolences. I later found out that the fear was I would become too upset to work."
Melissa added poignantly: "I was 11, my Daddy had just died and I was shattered."

"Please, boys. Don't make my final years a misery." The words of the future King Charles III as he pleaded with his two sons to patch things up at their grandfather's funeral in April 2021 have just acquired a whole new resonance.
The "boys", better known as Prince William and Prince Harry, never did make up. Indeed, their feud only darkened and deepened as the elder brother fumed at the younger's treachery towards the Royal family in general, and his wife, in particular. (Outrageously, in her interview with Oprah, Meghan accused unnamed members of the family of racism in relation to her unborn baby's skin colour.)
The last time Harry and William stood together, just the two of them, was in July 2021 at the unveiling of a bronze statue of their late mother on what would have been her 60th birthday. The pair could barely look at each other. For William, Harry's deeply personal and spiteful revelations two years later in his biography, Spare, were an unimaginable betrayal by the human being he once trusted best.
The last time the two brothers were together was in 2021, at the unveiling of a bronze statue of their late mother - Dominic Lipinski/AFP
A lid could be kept on that seething Shakespearean sibling rivalry, as long as Diana's beloved boys, now men in their 40s, were separated by an ocean. Harry and Meghan found freedom in California from the stultifying Windsor ways they so publicly scorned. The Waleses were left to steady the ship after the turbulence of "Megxit". They did so admirably and to universal acclaim despite Princess Catherine's shocking brush with cancer.

The NFL has always adopted some unusual choices during the preseason in the announcing booth. This year, though, featured a first-of-its-kind appearance as actress Brenda Song took up the role of an **** yst for her beloved Los Angeles Rams.
As they took on the New Orleans Saints, she was an enthusiastic presence throughout the game. But for Jason Brown, who became a household name thanks to"Last Chance U," her work was far from satisfactory.
A resident of Los Angeles, Song has made her sports fandom known for years. From appearing courtside for the Los Angeles Lakers to her fascination with the Rams, she's embraced the biggest teams in the city.
As a result, it was a wildly exciting time for her as she stepped into the commentary booth, even if it was a preseason game. Her energy was refreshing as she brought a unique enthusiasm to the booth, cheering on the Rams at virtually every turn.
However, Brown wasn't a fan.

Princess Anne, 76, takes her role within the royal family very seriously, racking up a whopping 478 engagements in 2025. Despite being a decade past retirement age, the Princess Royal spends her days travelling up and down the country to greet people and represent the monarchy. When she does get downtime, she retreats to Gatcombe Park, her beloved country home in Gloucestershire, away from the glare of the spotlight. Insiders tell ***** O! what life is really like at her private home.
"Gatcombe is her bolthole, where she is not the Princess Royal – she is Anne," says Ailsa Anderson, a former communications secretary to Queen Elizabeth II. "It's a lot less formal; she has Zara and Mike still living on the estate, and Peter and Harriet nearby." The Princess Royal's daughter Zara lives at Aston Farm on the estate with her former rugby player husband Mike Tindall and their three children, Mia, Lena and Lucas.
Gatcombe is surrounded by gorgeous grounds (@ Alamy Stock Photo)
Royal author Robert Hardman agrees with Ailsa. "Gatcombe is her happy place; she's fundamentally a country person," he says. Her relationship with her children and grandchildren is "very no-nonsense", he adds. "It's very normal; there isn't any standing on ceremony, and she's the only one with a ***** le.
"She's a very good grandmother. She's hands-on, but like all grandchildren, I think they can get away with things. She dotes on them."

A doctor once warned her that she could be "dead within five years" if she didn't get her drinking under control, but she was determined to "leave the world" a better place in final remarks made before her sudden death.
According to the autopsy report, no signs of trauma were found that would have contributed to her death, although 911 dispatch audio said a female was in "cardiac arrest." The dispatch audio reportedly referenced a possible overdose.

Robin Williams' children found a new way to honor their late father. Zak, Cody, and Zelda Williams revived his Instagram account on August 17. The move came shortly after what would have been the beloved actor's 75th birthday.
The siblings explained that the account would help preserve their father's work and memories. They wanted fans to have a reliable place for authentic material about Williams. "As technology evolves, we want this to be a safe, trusted place," the siblings wrote. They said, "the stories, photos, videos and memories shared reflect his legacy with authenticity, warmth, and care."
The family noted that younger generations continued discovering Robin's work. Longtime fans still celebrated the joy he brought them. His children wanted the account to connect both groups through memories.
"This is our way of sharing his unique talent and humor with the world," they added. They also highlighted moments that made their family and fans laugh. The siblings said the account would feature stories, photos, videos, and memories. They hoped those materials would represent their father honestly for generations.
Their decision came years after Robin's death, when his children continued remembering him publicly. Their tributes have kept his presence close while celebrating the person behind his career.

If you haven't seen by now, Bitcoin made a violent move today, lurching roughly 6% to above $68K at time of writing, blowing out more than $1 billion of shorts along the way.
Most of crypto moved alongside it (most notably ETH), while gold and silver ripped as well. Meanwhile, long-term Treasury yields fell, the dollar weakened, and stocks barely moved.
All in all, it's behavior that heralds the return of the beloved debasement trade: buying hard ***** ets when investors believe policymakers will ultimately tolerate inflation or currency weakness to keep the economic machine running.
This move didn't come out of nowhere. The catalyst was an announcement from the Treasury that it will at least double how much it can buy back in each operation for certain 10- to 30-year Treasuries, from $2 billion to at least $4 billion beginning September 9.
Why are they doing this? Officially, Treasury wants to make these longer-dated bonds easier to buy and sell and reduce the risk of turbulence in that part of the market. The broader reason traders care is that long-term yields have remained high as inflation persists, government borrowing grows, and investors demand more compensation to lend the government money for decades. In fact, the 30-year yield hit its highest level since 2007 just yesterday.

Liga MX is back in EA Sports FC 27.
The league is returning to the beloved video game franchise for the first time since 2022 when it signed an exclusive deal with rival Konami and its eFootball series.
But who's on top?
Rather than dynamic attackers like Tigres star Juan Brunetta, who is one of six players with a 78 overall rating, or Toluca forward Paulinho, who is second in the league with a 79, it's a defensive player who takes the crown.
Pumas goalkeeper Keylor Navas, still strong in goal after a legendary career with Real Madrid, PSG and the Costa Rica national team, has an 80 overall rating and tops the heap.

Summer weather might not be going anywhere in New York City, but Queen Camilla dressed for some fall-like temps in York, England, on August 19. The Queen braved the rain on the first day of the Ebor Festival at York Racecourse on Wednesday, turning to one of Princess Kate's favorite accessories for her equestrian day out.
Queen Camilla, who serves as patron of York Racecourse, stayed dry in a classic tan trench coat over her collared blue dress, carrying one of Queen Elizabeth's beloved clear birdcage umbrellas by Fulton.
The Queen once again chose her sparkling diamond and sapphire ****** erfly brooch— a piece that once belonged to Queen Elizabeth—but it was Camilla's hat that stole the show during the racing festival. Her feather-trimmed, cornflower blue style was a custom creation by milliner Philip Treacy, and it brings to mind several of the hats the Princess of Wales has worn in recent years.

Since 1987, those tuning into the Little League World Series have turned to the same network: ESPN.
First televising a LLWS game in 1983 and broadcasting the tournament full-time for nearly 40 years, ESPN has become the home of the beloved event every summer. For half of that time, the same play-by-play voice has called the games.
Karl Ravech was reportedly part of ESPN's layoffs earlier in the summer, but when fans watch the 2026 Little League World Series, he'll still be on the call throughout the tournament.
Here's why Ravech is still broadcasting the Little League World Series despite being laid off by ESPN.

Alan Dershowitz said he is still a pariah on his beloved Martha's Vineyard, and fellow island vacationer Larry David still won't speak to him.
For several years now, Dershowitz has lamented his fallen status on the island, starting around the time he acted as defense counsel in President Donald Trump's first impeachment trial. Dershowitz, a staunch Democrat for 67 years, registered as a Republican this year.
On Tuesday, The Atlantic published an interview with Dershowitz by Mark Leibovich, who spoke with the famous lawyer and professor emeritus at Harvard Law. The piece is ****** led, "Alan Dershowitz Won't Forget What Larry David Did To Him."
Until 2021, Dershowitz and the Seinfeld co-creator and Curb Your Enthusiasm creator were friends, or at least friendly with one another. But that year, there was an ugly encounter at the Chilmark General Store, which Leibovich recounted thus:
And then there was the infamous clash at the Chilmark General Store with Dershowitz's now very-much-ex-friend Larry David. In the annals of Dershowitz's social spiral on the Vineyard, this conflagration has taken on almost-mythic dimensions, like his own personal Stalingrad. Dershowitz was sitting on the porch of the store with another friend, "who happened to be a very kind of radical woke lefty from New York, but very tolerant," he told me. David was not very tolerant, at least of Dershowitz. He walked onto the porch, refused to shake Dershowitz's hand, called him "disgusting," and stormed off. Dershowitz said at the time that David was so irate, Dershowitz worried that the comedian might suffer a stroke.

The Baltimore Ravens continue to process the loss of one of the franchise's beloved figures after learning of O.J. Brigance's passing at the age of 56. While many around the organization have reflected on Brigance's remarkable battle with ALS and his lasting impact on the franchise, stories about how special he was continue to pour in.
Jesse Minter, defensive line coach Lou Esposito, and Calais Campbell spoke with the media on Tuesday. Baltimore's head coach offered one of his more personal memories. When asked about Brigance following the team's closed walkthrough before departing for Minnesota, Minter didn't begin with football accomplishments or organizational ***** les. Instead, he recalled a simple gesture from years ago that helped establish a relationship he would never forget.
"To me, the biggest impact, like when I first got hired here the first time, O.J. Brigance sent me an email, and then we sort of started exchanging some emails every so often about different things throughout the season."
For Minter, those exchanges offered an early glimpse into the type of person Brigance was. Minter continued with his thought, offering some behind-the-scenes access into part of what truly made his friend special.
"Just the wisdom, the strength that that guy showed... I mean, he is like everything that you want this organization to be about. "He means a lot to this place. He means a lot to everybody that has been here. He has impacted this place, maybe as much as anybody, just with what he has brought to the building."
