Ukraine has a new mid-range drone called the Morrigan that's hitting areas Russia once deemed safe.
The 412th said it used the drone to attack the R-280 highway, about 50 to 75 miles from the front.
Ukraine has been increasingly using these types of drones to push Russia's supply lines back.
Ukrainian troops released new details of the secretive mid-range drone they're using to batter Russia's R-280 logistics highway far behind the southern front lines.
The 412th Nemesis Brigade, of the Unmanned Systems Forces, published close-up and pre-launch footage on Saturday of the strike aircraft, dubbed the Morrigan.

Notre Dame is getting its fair share of preseason hype — which is going to just annoy the ******* out of the Irish haters out there. One pundit who’s been known to be an Irish hater, but is actually just a math nerd (with all love and respect, respectfully) is ESPN’s Bill Connelly who is the creator of the SP+ index.
The Irish are 3rd right now in the SP+ (OFF 3, DEF 9, SOS 62) which projects Notre Dame to be right where we all want them to be come time for the CFP.
Here is a recent prediction from Bill over at ESPN:
This year, the two marquee games don’t come until Weeks 7 (at BYU) and 10 (Miami at home), and the question marks are minimal. CJ Carr could be the nation’s best QB, and coordinator Chris Ash’s defense returns 14 of the 20 players who saw at least 200 snaps and adds four solid transfers. The Irish are projected favorites of at least 17.4 points in 10 games. If they are reliant on the CFP committee to let them in, that’s on them.
With Carr, leading receiver Jordan Faison, 2024 playoff hero Jaden Greathouse and players responsible for 41 of 60 offensive line starts returning, Mike Denbrock’s offense has the basics covered. The Irish will need some new burst in the skill corps, though, without running backs Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price and receiver Malachi Fields. It’s easy to ******* ume that some combination of RB Aneyas Williams (9.3 yards per carry), Greathouse (14.1 yards per catch in 2024), sophomore WR Micah Gilbert, young Ohio State receiver transfers Mylan Grahamand Quincy Porter, and any number of recent blue-chippers could provide the necessary pop, but we’ll still need to see it happen.

We recently compiled a list of the 11 Most Undervalued Pharma Stocks to Invest In. Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:IRWD) is one of the most undervalued stocks to invest in.
TheFly reported on May 27 that IRWD reported that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration expanded the approved use of Linzess to include pediatric patients as young as 2 years old who suffer from functional constipation. Previously, the therapy was authorized for children aged 6 years and older with the same condition. With this updated approval, Linzess can now be prescribed for patients between 2 and 5 years of age, broadening its treatment reach. The company also noted that Linzess remains the only FDA-approved prescription medication available for pediatric functional constipation, reinforcing its position as a key therapy option in this patient population.
Moreover, on May 7, Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:IRWD) reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2026, highlighting improved performance across key metrics. Total revenue reached $106.5 million, compared with $41.1 million in the same period a year earlier. Growth was primarily driven by Ironwood’s share of U.S. LINZESS net sales profits, alongside modest royalties and other income. The company also reported a significant reduction in total expenses to $33.9 million from $70.3 million year over year. GAAP net income was $40.8 million, or $0.25 per share, reversing a prior-year loss. Adjusted EBITDA rose to $76.7 million, compared to a negative result in the prior year period. Cash and liquidity positions also improved modestly.
Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:IRWD) is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing treatments for gastrointestinal diseases and rare disorders. It is best known for its drug LINZESS.
While we acknowledge the potential of IRWD as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. PENNSAUKEN — On the precipice of the end of her high school career, Monica Curry was feeling a little nostalgic. Curry had joined Vernon's outdoor track and field team two years ago, mainly to stay in shape for soccer. And there she was at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions on June 3, part of the new Sussex County record 4x100.
It is the third time the Vernon girls had re-set the mark, twice in just five days. The Vikings – sophomore Samantha Janus, freshman Isabella Kuzicki, Curry and senior Sophia Haw – finished fifth in 47.33 seconds.
The original mark of 48.41 had stood since 2013.
"It's really exciting," said Curry, a record-setting Vernon senior who has signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Massachusetts for soccer.
"All season, we improved. We started in the 50s. To get to the low 47s is amazing. We exceeded everything we planned."

Jackson Peak Capital, an investment management firm, released its first-quarter 2026 investor letter. Jackson Peak Capital employs a concentrated long/short equity approach to deliver strong absolute returns across various market conditions. A copy of the letter is available to download here. In Q1 2026, Jackson Peak returned -21.0%, net, in a challenging environment. The underperformance in Q1 was driven by an increase in tech exposure, adverse movements in certain positions, and the lack of expected catalysts. The ACWI returned -2.2%, and the HFRX Equity Hedge Index returned -1.5% during the same time. The firm expects a strong Q2 start as AI acceleration and easing geopolitical tensions favor positions. At Q1’s end, net exposure was 36%, up from 25% from Q4's end, with confidence in AI infrastructure, energy, compute, data center buildout, and event-driven positions. In addition, please check the fund’s top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
In its first-quarter 2026 investor letter, Jackson Peak Capital highlighted stocks like Core Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ:CORZ). Core Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ:CORZ) is a leading US-based infrastructure provider for high-density colocation services and digital ****** et mining. On June 1, 2026, Core Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ:CORZ) closed at $28.55 per share. One-month return of Core Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ:CORZ) was 28.66%, and its shares gained 141.95% over the past 52 weeks. Core Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ:CORZ) has a market capitalization of $9.08 billion.
Jackson Peak Capital stated the following regarding Core Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ:CORZ) in its Q1 2026 investor letter:
"A position worth highlighting this quarter is Core Scientific, Inc. (NASDAQ:CORZ). We re-engaged with CORZ during Q1 after exiting in Q4, as the stock retraced to attractive levels just as we were looking to add to the AI infrastructure theme on the developments above. Specifically, CORZ is a beneficiary of the compute shortage as it has valuable data center co-location capacity, which is structurally short of supply heading into the remainder of 2026 as the leading AI labs and hyperscalers all look for power and shovel-ready sites.
CORZ is one of the few public companies with shovel-ready capacity at scale. It is a high-performance computing (HPC) colocation provider that pivoted from crypto mining to AI infrastructure, and the foundation of the business today is its ~590 MW contract with CoreWeave under 12-year hosting agreements, representing over $10 billion in total contracted revenue. Beyond the CoreWeave contract, CORZ has approximately 1.5 GW of total leasable power in the pipeline. Management has stated that they are in active dialogue with multiple parties and that colocation leasing agreements are expected in the near future.

IBM (IBM) stock price surged almost 13% on Friday from Thursday's close to finish near $298, its sharpest single-day jump in months on a fresh Wall Street call. Now it is pushing above $300 in early Monday trading.
The fuel-turning-heads is a recycled Trump video that resurfaced over the weekend, actually footage from last December. That timing matters, because a clip going viral after the rally already ran, right as price nears heavy resistance, is the kind of spark that pulls in late buyers just as the move tires.
IBM has climbed since a May 13 low near $212, rising as much as 41% before pausing. The surge began well before the viral clip, which means the recirculated December video of President Trump praising IBM is a spark, not the engine.
The firmer catalyst landed June 1. Barclays **** yst Raimo Lenschow initiated coverage with an Overweight rating and a $350 target, noting nearly half of IBM's revenue and most of its profit come from sticky software sold to large, regulated customers. Wedbush reiterated a Buy at $320 on May 29. That's the level IBM stock hints at on early Monday.
Volume supports the move. Trading volume has risen steadily since mid-May, with Friday printing 28.48 million shares as price broke higher.

The Boston Red Sox have spent much of the season searching for bullpen consistency, and that need became increasingly apparent as veteran reliever Tommy Kahnle continued to dominate at Triple-A Worcester.
Kahnle was pitching well for the Red Sox’s Triple-A affiliate this season and, after spending 11 seasons in the big leagues, the right-hander appeared to be positioning himself either for a major league opportunity in Boston or the chance to pursue one elsewhere.
“Veteran reliever Tommy Kahnle, who has a 1.40 ERA in 18 games at Triple-A Worcester, can opt out of his minor league deal and become a free agent Monday (June 1),” Chris Cotillo reported for MassLive last week. “According to a source with knowledge of Kahnle’s thinking, the righty ‘100 percent’ plans to hit free agency if he is not added to Boston’s roster.”

Arizona hosted a slew of recruits over the weekend, and some of them liked the visit enough to decide Tucson is where they want to play college football.
Jaylen Oliver, a defensive back from Texas, was the first to announce his commitment from this weekend’s official visits.
Oliver is a 6-foot, 170-pound safety that plays for Westfield High School in Houston. He played his first varsity season last year as a junior. He finished the season with 41 tackles, 2 for a loss, 2 interceptions and 3 PBUs. As of yet, Oliver has not been ranked in either of 247Sports’ ranking systems.

Head Coach: PJ Fleck (10th year, 66-44 at Minnesota, 96-66 overall)
2025 Record: 8-5 overall, 5-4 Big Ten
Quick 2025 Recap
Minnesota completed its second straight 8-5 season, thanks to an overtime win over New Mexico in the Rate Bowl. Their most notable wins from the season include a snowy 17-7 win over bitter rival Wisconsin for Paul Bunyan’s Axe and a 24-6 beatdown of a then 25th-ranked Nebraska team, which almost immediately blew up the “Matt Rhule-to-Penn State” hype train. Unfortunately for the Gophers, their other two games against ranked opponents ended rather poorly, suffering a 42-3 shellacking at No.1 Ohio State and a 42-13 beatdown at 7th-ranked Oregon. They also got waxed 41-3 against their other bitter rival, Iowa at Kinnick Stadium and lost a close one at Northwestern, 38-35. Overall though, for program standards under PJ Fleck’s tenure, it was about par for the course.

Many people grab a cup of coffee or some other drink with caffeine to start their day. But there are a few people who never drink coffee or any other caffeinated beverage for various reasons.
LeBron James has been lauded for having a high level of dedication to keeping his mind and body right, and it is a huge reason why he's still a superstar-level player at age 41. But he doesn't drink coffee, and during a recent appearance on "Bob Does Sports," he explained that one incident caused him to abstain from coffee.
“No, when I was in Miami playing for the Heat we had one early game start.” James said. “I think it was like 12 noon start and I got a [expletive] horrible night of sleep. So I woke up the next morning, I was like super tired. I told my chef, I was like, ‘Hey, I need something like coffee. Just give me the most basic coffee that you could give me, I need a little bolt of energy.’
“So I drank it, got to the arena and my heart and my anxiety was racing. Like racing, all the way up until it got to the point where I told my trainer I was like, ‘I may have to sit this game out cause I’m not calming down.’ All the way up until like 15 minutes before the game started. The heart was racing, everything was just speeding up and I was like, ‘Oh no, coffee’s not for me.’ That’s the end of it. I haven’t had coffee since. I think that was 2012 maybe.”
Caffeine may not be tolerable for a few people. Perhaps James is one of those people who doesn't necessarily need caffeine, and his body of work since the incident he revealed is proof.

LAS VEGAS — When drag legend Frank Marino headlined his first show in Las Vegas at the Riviera hotel and casino in 1985, drag was "underground."
"People would come to Las Vegas and that's when you'd go see your strip show, like a Chippendales or a Crazy Girls, and then you would see your drag show," Marino told USA TODAY.
As the longtime Sin City fixture prepares to take his final bow with "Frank Marino’s Divas, Drag & Drinks" at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas before retiring May 31, he reflected on about four decades of change — both in his act and in the city itself.
"Until you look at the history of it, you don't notice the change, because you're gradually doing it, but there's been great change since the beginning on how we do everything in the show," Marino said.
During Marino's 41 years on stage in Las Vegas, drag had gone from the underground to household popularity. He said he feels that he is "part of the history of drag, making it mainstream."

6 Chet Holmgren landing spots after Thunder stars Game 7 disappearance
The Oklahoma City Thunder weren't good enough. It came down to Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals, but eventually the Thunder's bid to repeat as champions was ended by the San Antonio Spurs.
It's back to the drawing board.
With San Antonio destined to be an obstacle for a long time, OKC will undoubtedly look for ways to improve in the offseason to stack up better. And they have an embarrassment of **** ets to do so in short order, be it players or picks.
One such player is Chet Holmgren, the former No. 2 overall pick who completely disappeared in a four-point performance Saturday. At just 24 years old, he's still young enough to be an attractive trade chip and potential centerpiece of a deal for OKC to land another star to pair with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
These are the best landing spots for Holmgren in such a deal:

Best of Sam Hauser with Boston Celtics in 2025-26 NBA regular season
It might not have been the best shooting season of his career (okay, it was actually his worst), but even so, vet Boston Celtics forward Sam Hauser still managed to be a major part of Boston's offense in the NBA's 2025-26 regular season. The University of Virginia alum has shot above 40 percent from the 3-point line every season of his career to date.
But this past season, Hauser shot 'just' 39.3 percent from beyond the arc, as well as 41.9 percent from the field overall, and 85.0 percent from the free throw line. During the regular season, the Wisconsin native also put up 9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.5 **** ists per game.
The folks behind the official "Boston Celtics" YouTube channel put together a highlight reel of the best plays made by Hauser over the course of the Celtics' 2025-26 regular season campaign. Check it out below!

How Lewis Hamilton is seeking to evoke ****** nal’s success with Ferrari in Canada
For all the celebratory messages of jubilation emanating from the never-ending group of high-profile ****** nal supporters this week – from Sir Keir Starmer and Hugh Lawrie to Piers Morgan and Jess Glynne – Lewis Hamilton’s repost on Instagram was altogether more understated. “COYG,” the 41-year-old said, the common abbreviation for “Come on you Gunners.”
An ****** nal fan since he was five, Hamilton’s football fandom hit the realms of public discourse again four years ago, when he was part of a group of investors which, ultimately, failed to buy Chelsea. Many onlookers seemed stunned, not least Hamilton’s fierce rival Max Verstappen. “I am a PSV fan and I would never buy Ajax,” the Dutchman quipped, before adding: “I thought he was an ****** nal fan? And if you are an ****** nal fan going for Chelsea, that is quite interesting.”
Alas, it never materialised. Hamilton has also dipped his toes in the world of NFL, joining the Denver Broncos ownership group in 2022 after missing out on the Chelsea gig. And the Briton, seven times a champion of the world but only twice a grand prix race winner in the last four years and counting, would be wise to take a leaf out of as many sports as possible in his search for one final rebirth at the top of Formula 1.
Hamilton heads to Montreal’s unique street circuit this weekend – destination of his first win back in that glorious 2007 rookie season – with mixed feelings. Buoyed by early-season pace and a first Ferrari podium in China, the last round in Miami saw leading contenders such as McLaren and Red Bull make ground to pacesetters Mercedes. Not Ferrari, however.
While Charles Leclerc was penalised post-race and demoted, Hamilton was impacted from the start in Florida, his car damaged after a first-lap collision with Franco Colapinto. He ultimately finished sixth and now trails championship leader Kimi Antonelli – his replacement at Mercedes, of course – by 49 points.

U.S. added 115,000 jobs in April as economy contends with Iran war impact
The U.S. economy added 115,000 jobs in April, a sign that the labor market retained its resiliency even in the face of a global energy shock triggered by the U.S. war with Iran. The unemployment rate remained steady at 4.3%.
Economists were expecting 55,000 jobs to be added and projected that the unemployment rate would remain steady at 4.3%, according to a survey from Dow Jones.
The report also showed significant revisions to prior months. Employment in February was revised down by 23,000 to negative 156,000, but March was revised up by 7,000 to an addition of 178,000 roles.
The report from the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics also arrives as oil prices remain higher by more than 50% since the start of the year and average retail gas prices hover above $4.55 per gallon, up 50% since the war with Iran started in late February.
After the consumer price index showed inflation rising to 3.3% in March as a result of the Iran war fallout, Friday’s report showed that average hourly wages continued a strong 3.6% pace from the same time a year ago.

This is your best chance to spot the Milky Way's core in May
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission.
The moonless nights of mid-May are a fantastic time to spot the glowing band of the Milky Way arching across the spring sky, before the encroaching twilight of the summer months shortens the viewing window.
The best time to spot the Milky Way in the northern hemisphere is from February to October, often referred to as "Core Season", when Earth's orbit brings the bright heart of our galaxy into view.
Each Core Season has peak windows of visibility centering around the monthly new moon. This month's new moon on May 16 will provide darker skies ideal for spotting our galaxy's glowing core.
The best time to see the Milky Way's core is between midnight and dawn, when the ribbon of interstellar dust, gas and countless stars is at its highest in the night sky. The May new moon also provides a longer window for viewing the deep sky wonder compared to the June new moon, which occurs close to the summer solstice, when twilight eats further into the dark of night.

G. Love has had better weeks.
The Philadelphia musician (real name Garrett Dutton, frontman of the blues-rock band G. He went to the Apple App Store, found what looked like the right app, and downloaded it. Routine stuff, especially if you're a longtime crypto owner like G. Love.
Will AI create the world's first trillionaire? Our team just released a report on the one little-known company, called an "Indispensable Monopoly" providing the critical technology Nvidia and Intel both need. Continue »
But it wasn't the right app. The one he downloaded and installed from the official App Store was a scam designed to drain crypto wallets. G. Love had $420,000 of Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) in his crypto wallet. After installing that app, he had nothing.

“Got to Do a Better Job”: 49ers Coach Confirms Plans to Restrict Christian McCaf...
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey has grown into one of the most consistent performers in the NFL. If the star running back were to enter free agency, everyone needing a boost in their rushing attack would jump at the chance. But despite the huge upside he brings, McCaffrey is one of the senior players in the league. Even though the RB is in his prime in terms of performance, offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak is planning to make a tough decision.
“It is challenging, because you’re talking about a player who does not want to come off the field,” Kubiak said about the McCaffrey situation. “But when you look around the league, and you study great backs, and you study guys who affect the game like he does, those guys do come out of the game. Those guys do get a blow sometimes. Whether it’s a drive or a couple plays in a series, it helps those players.
“Christian knows that, and we got to do a better job as coaches. We got to do a better job at times of getting a better rotation. We got back young backs that we want to get more production out of.
Kubiak’s comments come after McCaffrey led the NFL with 413 touches last season and rushed for 1,202 yards in the regular season. He also had an NFL-high 339 touches in 2023 while ranking second in the league in yards per carry (5.4). And, McCaffrey was the Offensive Player of the Year that season. He’s going to turn 30 this year, but he remains an anchor in the Niners’ run game. But, this is also the age when RBs of his caliber start phasing out.
Usually, they become limited by their own physicality, being weakened with age. McCaffrey already missed 13 games in 2024 after suffering a pedal Achilles sprain and a knee PCL sprain. He won the Comeback Player of the Year award in 2025 for playing as if he’d never missed a beat. But the bigger question is about McCaffrey being sustainable as the leading rusher for the team post-30. Coaches will eventually have to swallow the tough pill of forcing such players to the background.
