STILLWATER — Last Saturday, Seth Storey walked into the Stillwater Raising Cane's and ordered a 25-finger tailgate platter. It costs $41.99 and feeds 6-8 people, but Storey wasn't sharing.
At 9:02 p.m., Storey sat down at a booth with an aluminum pan full of chicken and couldn't leave the restaurant for 24 hours. For every tender he ate, one hour came off his clock.
The first 30 minutes went OK as Storey powered through 12 tenders. At the 15 tender mark, his consumption started to slow down. He gagged attempting to swallow tender 18 and nearly threw up. The bathroom would ultimately call three times — once to throw up.
Even the tasty Raising Cane's sauce didn't make things better.
"It didn't help with the flavor and it just kind of tasted like nothing," Storey said. "Like definitely toward the end, I was just sick of the taste."

BETRAWATI, Nepal, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Believing she had perished in Nepal's deadly floods, the family of Chandika **** ari Shrestha started the ritual of mourning the elderly woman's death.
Ten ‌days later, rescuers found her alive inside her collapsed home in the devastated Betrawati village, ‌where she had survived in a narrow pocket of air amid water and mud.
"The four-storey house was swept (away) by the floods and the house was left in the middle of a quicksand. While walking around it, we heard a voice 'save me,'" police officer Mahendra Darnal said.
In a rescue operation on Saturday lasting 45 minutes, Darnal and his team found Shrestha in a confined **** e and sent her to an army hospital.

In a recent report, talkSPORT mentioned that Tottenham Hotspur are pushing hard to land Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo this summer. It has been mentioned that Spurs are facing competition in the form of Manchester City in the race to land the Dutch talent this month.

Eiffage has secured contracts worth a combined €132m ($153.9m) for two hospital projects in France, via its subsidiaries Eiffage Énergie Systèmes and Eiffage Construction.
The bulk of the total, close to €109m, covers the first phase of the Convergences project at Angers University Hospital, where a new medical-technical platform is planned.
Eiffage Construction will handle the main structural works, the building envelope and finishing works under the macro-works package.
Eiffage Énergie Systèmes takes the ventilation and electrical packages, covering power and low-voltage systems.
The Angers building will span 38,400m² over five storeys and house emergency services, operating theatres, imaging and adult critical care units.

A Grade II-listed house in Windsor Great Park, Royal Lodge served as a childhood country retreat for the late Queen Elizabeth. For Her Majesty, the Georgian-style estate, which boasts 30 rooms, a swimming pool, chapel, and several cottages, held many childhood memories, and to this day, Y Bwthyn Bach – the two-storey thatched playhouse gifted to Elizabeth in 1932 – stands on its 98 acres of land.

The property has remained empty ever since King Charles' disgraced brother was evicted from his home of 24 years in February following a string of scandals, including concern over his friendship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Dame Sarah Storey, Great Britain's most-decorated Paralympian, has retired from international competition with immediate effect.
The 48-year-old cyclist has opted not to compete at Los Angeles 2028 to focus on helping improve Para-sport.
The 19-time Paralympic champion feels the sport has "stalled somewhat" since the London 2012 Games and that many areas "still need attention".
"The years between each Games haven't been utilised well enough to create the momentum that I and others hoped to see," she said.
"I see this as a critical stage; there are many areas of Para-sport that still need attention, and that is something that has played a big part in my decision.

Although managing director Lawrie McMenemy was quoted on this day as saying "the transfer market is dead" there was still plenty of other activity going on at Roker Park, and whilst the playing staff wasn't about to be added to there was the arrival of a key member of back-room staff on the 7th of July instead.
Geoff Storey told Echo readers that the club were expecting Manchester City to follow up their interest in Barry Venison with a part exchange offer featuring two of their players, although it was ******* umed that McMenemy would prefer the cash only offer that was being mooted by Sheffield Wednesday. Although Newcastle Breweries were rumoured to be working on a bid that would save them the Ayresome Park club were in serious danger of going bust and were happy to shed as many costs as they could in the meantime, freeing the 36 year old to move north and replace the outgoing Jimmy Goodfellow, who was returning to Wales to work with Frank Burrows at Cardiff City.

Former Sunderland bosses Alan Durban and Len Ashurst had both been in charge at Ninian Park during the decade, with Goodfellow having also had a stint as boss before this invite to return, which was very timely indeed as it meant he no longer had to move his family out from the capital. Real Madrid have confirmed the open secret that Bernardo Silva will be joining the club on a free transfer from Manchester City this summer. The 32-year-old was out of contract, and Los Blancos moved swiftly to bring him in despite interest from rivals Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
