In a recent report, talkSPORT mentioned that Tottenham Hotspur are pushing hard to land Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo this summer. It has been mentioned that Spurs are facing competition in the form of Manchester City in the race to land the Dutch talent this month.
Gakpo enjoyed a decent run of form at the Merseyside club in the previous campaign when he produced a string of impressive displays for them in the Premier League. The 27-year-old scored nine times and earned six ******* ists in 52 matches for Liverpool last season in all competitions.
The Dutch sensation is currently among the most talented wingers in Premier League football. Hence, it is no surprise that Spurs are eager to get a deal over the line for him in this transfer window.
His current contract at Anfield will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for Tottenham to land him on the cheap this month.
