New integration embeds SONAR rates and coverage difficulty across FleetWorks' AI phone, email, and SMS workflows to help brokers and carriers book with more confidence.
San Francisco, CA August 13, 2026 — FleetWorks, the AI marketplace that matches brokers and carriers at scale, and SONAR, the leading freight market data and supply chain intelligence tool, today announced a partnership that brings SONAR's TRAC rates and coverage scores into FleetWorks' AI agents platform-wide. The integration is live now for any carrier using the FleetWorks platform as well as brokers who are both FleetWorks and SONAR customers, giving broker teams verified market context at the moment they quote, negotiate, and cover freight.
Freight moves faster than the systems most brokerages use to book it. A carrier sales rep negotiating a load typically has the conversation in one place and the market data in another — a SONAR dashboard, a rate tool, an account manager or pricing ****** yst on Teams. By the time the context arrives, the carrier has hung up or the load has been covered by someone who answered first. The same gap exists for AI agents: automation built around a brokerage's min/max spread, without current market data, misses key insights in a dynamic market..
The partnership closes that gap. SONAR's high frequency data now feeds directly into FleetWorks' AI agents across every channel the platform supports — phone, email, and SMS. When a FleetWorks agent works a carrier or load, it references SONAR's current spot rate and live market conditions as it works toward a bookable price within the broker's guardrails. When market conditions fall outside those guardrails, the agent escalates to a person with the SONAR context attached. Brokers input rate tolerances, and approval or escalation rules; SONAR supplies the ground truth those controls act on.
Mutual broker teams can now:

SAO PAULO, Aug 11 (Reuters) - Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's advantage over Senator Flavio Bolsonaro in a potential runoff ahead of October's general election narrowed, a CNT/MDA poll showed on Tuesday.
Lula would receive 48.0% of the votes in a runoff, compared with 39.1% for Flavio Bolsonaro, son of former President Jair Bolsonaro, according to the poll.
In a June survey, Lula was seen with 49.3% of the votes, and Bolsonaro with 36.8%.
In a first-round scenario, Lula would lead with 42.4% of the votes, virtually unchanged from the June survey, followed by Bolsonaro's 28.7%, Ronaldo Caiado's 4.0%, Romeu Zema's 3.3% and Renan Santos' 2.8%.
If no candidate wins more than 50% of valid votes in the first round, the two frontrunners advance to a runoff.

The body of a 10-year-old girl who went missing after being swept into New Jersey's Passaic River was found July 31 after a two-day search, officials said.
Passaic Mayor Hector Lora said crews recovered the girl's body in the river south of the Market Street Bridge shortly before 7 p.m. Friday, July 31. The child was identified as Milian Dulan, according to PIX11.
The discovery came after emergency crews searched nearly 9 miles of the Passaic River using boats, sonar equipment, drones, helicopters and cadaver dogs. The search began July 29 after three children entered the water near a boat ramp at Pulaski Park in Passaic, New Jersey, and were swept away by the current.
One child, an 11-year-old girl, was able to get out of the river on her own, officials said. The bodies of her 10-year-old brother, identified by PIX11 as Michael Klenk, and Dulan were later recovered, officials said.
Authorities were preparing to end the search for the night Friday when a couple living near the Market Street Bridge reported seeing something in the river from their apartment window, CBS News reported.

The freight market is seeing a major shift: capacity is tightening due to regulatory pressures and driver challenges, not just demand. Discover how these factors, alongside diverging spot rates and diesel prices, are impacting carriers and the overall supply chain. This deep dive into Q2 earnings from major players like Knight-Swift, Werner, and J.B. Hunt reveals a long-term trend.Learn more about the evolving dynamics of the trucking industry and what it means for the future of freight.
Truckload spot rates and diesel prices are moving in opposite directions, a divergence that supports the thesis that tight capacity — not fuel costs — is sustaining elevated freight rates. The Sonar NTI sat at $3.51 per mile as of the latest reading, climbing back from a mid-to-late June low near $4.90, while the diesel price at truck stops registered $3.48 per gallon, down from a July high near $3.80. The spread signals that carriers are holding rates even as fuel costs ease.
Tender rejections remain well above historical norms across all modes, according to Sonar data. The Sonar Truckload Rejection Index, or STRI, stands at 14.36%, above the six-month average of roughly 10.9%. Flatbed is the tightest mode at 23% rejections — down sharply from the 40% range seen in June and early July but still historically elevated. Reefer rejections sit at 19.46%, or nearly one in five loads, while van rejections are running nearly 50% above year-ago levels.
Recent carrier earnings are reinforcing the capacity-constraint narrative. Knight-Swift reported that its truckload segment operating income rose 69% year over year, with the carrier noting that strategic pricing recovery accelerated in June as recent bids took effect. The company described rapid tightening in supply-driven dynamics and tender rejections reaching levels not seen since 2021.

Freight brokers live and die by their RFP pricing. Submit too high and you lose the lane. Submit too low and you win business you'll spend the next year regretting. SONAR's latest release is designed to close that gap.
SONAR this week released a significant upgrade to Batch Rate Intelligence, expanding the feature from a bulk lane ****** ysis tool into what the company describes as a complete RFP pricing workflow. The update arrives alongside expanded flatbed market-level visibility within the platform's STVI (Spot Truckload Volume Index) and STRI (Spot Truckload Rate Index) indices.
Batch Rate Intelligence was already one of SONAR's most used broker-facing features, letting users upload large lane files and pull market rate context at scale. The new version builds substantially on that foundation.
The updated tool now includes forward-looking rate and seasonality insights — letting users see not just what rates look like today, but where market conditions are trending as bids are executed and the contract period begins. It also introduces bid positioning and risk visibility, surfacing lanes where a broker's target rate may be misaligned with market expectations before a bid is submitted.
The cleaner output interface is designed to support internal review, customer conversations, and bid strategy, making it easier to act on the data rather than simply export it.

The benchmark price used for most fuel surcharges has fallen for the 12th time in 13 weeks in an oil market that remains bifurcated to an almost historical level.
The Department of Energy/Energy Information Administration average weekly retail diesel price declined 9 cents/gallon to $4.578/g, effective Monday and published Tuesday. That price decline in those 13 weeks would have been consecutive except for a one-week big jump in early May.
Prices on the street appear to be volatile enough that three indicators of their number are producing a significant disparity. The AAA average retail diesel price for Tuesday was $4.765/g, up a little less than one cent from the prior day in the first increase recorded in almost a month.
Meanwhile, the DTS.USA data series in SONAR was at $4.81/g Tuesday.
But the more stark "split decision" in the oil market is more clearly evident in what are known as "crack spreads" between the price of crude and the price of the products produced from that crude.

INT. SUBMARINE COMMAND CENTER
The green sonar screens pulse rapidly, casting eerie shadows across the room. The atmosphere is electric. The PETTY OFFICER and ENSIGN sit rigid at their terminals.
Suddenly, the heavy steel door bangs open. The CAPTAIN strides in, a thick cigar clamped tightly between his teeth. He marches directly up behind the two men, whips the cigar out of his mouth with a sharp flick of his wrist, and slams his hands down onto the backs of their chairs, leaning in deep to peer over their shoulders.
CAPTAIN: Report, Petty Officer! Tell me what's so important.

Tender acceptance rates have long signaled stress in the truckload market — but until now, users had no direct index tracking the volume of freight that actually cleared that process and moved.
SONAR's new Accepted SONAR Truckload Volume Index (ASTVI) fills that gap. The dataset family isolates accepted truckload demand by stripping out rejection activity, giving a cleaner read on what's actually flowing through the market versus what was simply offered.
The index is available at the national, regional, and market levels and updates daily. It covers total accepted volume, van, and reefer — with week-over-week, month-over-month, and year-over-year change metrics for each.
The distinction between tendered and accepted freight is especially meaningful in soft market conditions, when routing guide compliance deteriorates and the spread between offered and accepted loads widens. ASTVI gives brokers, carriers, shippers, and ****** ysts a direct view of that spread without having to manually back into it from multiple indices.
ASTVI is available now to SONAR subscribers, access a pre-made dashboard here. Full ticker documentation is available in SONAR's Knolwdege Center.

No governo Bolsonaro, não havia investigação de emendas, nem do escândalo do INSS, que foi engavetado. O que se via eram apenas delegados da PF caindo de suas funções.
