Callum O'Hare "can't wait" to make his home debut after a hectic welcome to Wrexham since completing his deadline-day move from Sheffield United.
The 28-year-old got up in the early hours on Tuesday morning to seal his switch to the Racecourse Ground before Wrexham's trip to Millwall.
O'Hare then raced to London on the train, arriving hours before kick-off to make the squad, but remained an unused sub as Wrexham won 3-0 at the Den.
Then came his first Welsh derby. He was thrust in from the start by Phil Parkinson, even though he had not yet trained with all of his new teammates.
And O'Hare very nearly capped off a whirlwind few days with his maiden Wrexham goal on debut at Swansea, but the former Coventry man dragged his chance wide.

Conor Coady is working with Liverpool's under-21s following his departure from Championship club Wrexham.
The defender is a free agent after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract with the Red Dragons on the eve of transfer deadline day.
Following his departure from the Racecourse Ground, Liverpool academy product Coady revealed he is spending time with the Reds' youth system.
"I'm trying to keep myself busy. I'm lucky enough to get the opportunity to go into Liverpool's under-21s," he told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport.
"I came through there. I'm doing a little bit of coaching with the boys, which has been brilliant."

Birmingham City beat Wrexham 2-1 at the Racecourse Ground, with centre-back Phil Neumann scoring twice to secure all three points.
Neumann opened the scoring from close range in the 13th minute before Callum Doyle levelled for Wrexham shortly after half-time. The hosts had started to build momentum at that stage, but Birmingham responded quickly and Neumann struck again in the 63rd minute, heading home August Priske's cross.
Wrexham pushed for another equaliser late on and Kieffer Moore forced James Beadle into a save, while Sam Smith also missed from close range. Birmingham, though, managed the final stages well enough to protect their lead and see out the win.
Birmingham made the brighter start and threatened from a series of early set-pieces. Their pressure paid off in the 13th minute when Alex Cochrane delivered from the left and Neumann arrived inside the six-yard box to head past Anthony Patterson.
Wrexham gradually worked their way into the game. Moore tested Beadle with a header before Danny Imray forced another save from the Birmingham goalkeeper, but the visitors reached half-time with their one-goal advantage intact.

Arlington Heights may still be in contention as the future home of the Chicago Bears, according to new comments from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who remains directly involved in discussions about the team's stadium search.
In recent months, Bears officials have repeatedly emphasized that their focus is on Hammond, Indiana, where they have been conducting feasibility studies on two potential sites. One of those locations has already been deemed viable. But Goodell's remarks this week suggest the possibility of an Illinois option remains alive.
The commissioner spoke during the NFL owners meeting in Atlanta, where he said, "We want to make sure that Arlington Heights and Illinois have an opportunity, as well as Indiana, to put their best foot forward."
The Bears own 326 acres in Arlington Heights, the former site of Arlington International Racecourse.
Goodell confirmed he has been in recent contact with Illinois lawmakers about the team's future.

Two games, two draws. Something to build on for Wrexham.
The need for further transfer business loomed large over the Racecourse following the 1-1 draw with Watford that frustrated fans on the first home afternoon of the new Championship campaign.
But, dominating the skyline of the ground - and the city - a towering, tangible reminder of the scale of the ambition at the north Wales club.
The new £70m Kop stand is still lacking fans, still not completed, but the concrete and steel shape of an exciting future was obvious when both players and fans took their positions for the first fixture of the season at their changing north Walian home.
"It's exciting because it's a real symbol of hope ahead," said chief executive Michael Williamson.

Phil Parkinson is remaining calm over Wrexham's bid for late transfer business despite admitting there is no guarantee of new additions.
The manager had spoken of the difficulty of the transfer window for Wrexham in the build-up to Saturday's 1-1 draw with Watford.
He reiterated the north Wales club are having to battle for the signings they want after his side were frustrated at the Racecourse in front of watching co-chairmen Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac.
Parkinson said he was keen to add "difference-makers" after seeing his side come from behind, but struggle to find a way to a winner against Watford, though admitted the club who have journeyed from non-league are up against new competition.

Summer weather might not be going anywhere in New York City, but Queen Camilla dressed for some fall-like temps in York, England, on August 19. The Queen braved the rain on the first day of the Ebor Festival at York Racecourse on Wednesday, turning to one of Princess Kate's favorite accessories for her equestrian day out.
Queen Camilla, who serves as patron of York Racecourse, stayed dry in a classic tan trench coat over her collared blue dress, carrying one of Queen Elizabeth's beloved clear birdcage umbrellas by Fulton.
The Queen once again chose her sparkling diamond and sapphire ****** erfly brooch— a piece that once belonged to Queen Elizabeth—but it was Camilla's hat that stole the show during the racing festival. Her feather-trimmed, cornflower blue style was a custom creation by milliner Philip Treacy, and it brings to mind several of the hats the Princess of Wales has worn in recent years.

From Eurovision to European football, it has been a memorable summer for Jodie Bartle and her family.
The Wrexham captain is preparing for Saturday's Women's Champions League first qualifying round final against Riga FC at the Racecourse (18:00 BST).
In May, older brother Sam Battle – better known by his stage name Look Mum No Computer – flew the flag for the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.
Although the electro-pop anthem Eins, Zwei, Drei finished last with a single point, Bartle says it was an unforgettable experience for the family.
"Going to Austria was absolutely immense," Bartle said. "My brother had the best time and so did we.

Head coach Jenny Sugarman says there has been little time to savour Wrexham's historic Women's Champions League debut.
Wrexham celebrated their first European appearance with a thrilling 4-2 victory against FC Pyunik in the first qualifying round semi-final at the Racecourse.
The Adran Premier champions face Riga of Latvia in Saturday's first qualifying round final, also at the Racecourse
Sugarman said: "In football you often don't get much time to enjoy your moment do you?
"Because what comes, and the difference I guess here with our normal league season, is the turnaround time now of the next game.

It was North Coast Paddling Club vs North Coast Paddling Club at the 3rd Annual Dragon Boat Festival in Budd Inlet in Olympia, Washington Saturday, July 11. And not surprisingly, North Coast Paddling Club came out the winner.
Forty-four members of Clatsop County’s North Coast Paddling Club dragon boat team competed on two different teams, one named Coastal Reign and the other, Coastal Lightning. After three qualifying heats for each boat team, the Reign and Lightning teams found themselves racing side by side in the finals heat for Division E, along with teams from Portland and Seattle. When the storm cleared, Coastal Reign took first and Coastal Lightning took second, with a time difference of .04 seconds.
Maria Fasching, paddling in the lead stroke position for Lightning, said that racing next to Reign was the highlight of her day. “Feeling our crews push each other stroke for stroke was incredibly motivating and showed me I could compete with some of the most experienced paddlers on my team,” said Fasching.
The weather was perfect for the race and the water conditions on the racecourse at Puget Sound’s Budd Inlet were much better than the team experienced in Seattle in June. Colleen Holdar, tiller for Lightning, said that it was the first time she had steered in full saltwater so she had to adjust for the difference in buoyancy. Added Holdar: “And, I was surprised to see a harbor seal at the finish line!”
Coach Amy Spunaugle described the team’s performance as amazing and said it was great to have both teams finish so well. She added her team’s second race was when it all came together. “It reminded me why I love the sport of dragon boating.”

Head coach Chris Gunter expressed his disappointment after Wales bowed out of Uefa Men's Under-19 Championship but refused to be drawn on his own future.
Wales fell to a third successive defeat at Wrexham's Racecourse Ground on Saturday, losing 3-0 to Denmark.
Gunter has been linked with a role in former Wales team-mate Aaron Ramsey's coaching team at Oxford United, where he was recently appointed head coach.
"I've been so busy making sure that we have appeared in this tournament," said Gunter when asked about a move to League One Oxford.
"There's been absolutely no time to be talking about potential moves or anything else other than that."

Top former jockey Frankie Dettori is set for yet another comeback – albeit a short-lived one.
Horseracing’s most recognisable and charismatic jockey will return to the saddle at Doncaster in September, just months after bringing the curtain down on his remarkable career with a winning double in Brazil.
Dettori will line-up in the Betfred Leger Legends race, marking his first ride in Britain since 2023.
The 55-year-old had originally planned to retire at the end of that horse racing season (2023) but instead extended his career by another two years, racing in the United States before finally signing off at Gávea Racecourse in Rio de Janeiro in February 2026.
The Leger Legends race is a one-mile classified stakes for former professional jockeys and, for the first time this year, has been moved to the ITV Racing schedule on Friday of the St Leger Festival on September 11.

Dylan Dreyer graced the 2026 Royal Ascot in a series of chic looks – but many were quick to point out that one of her looks appeared to breach the event's strict dress code.
The Today Show host looked elegant in a sleeveless black dress featuring a collared neckline and a flowing ankle-length silhouette. She completed the look with a striking red-and-black crochet hat, embellished with an oversized bow for a playful touch. However, the ensemble was styled with open-toe sandals – a choice of footwear that is banned from the event.
Under Royal Ascot's dress code, all guests must wear closed-toe footwear, banning open-toe sandals and sliders in the premier enclosures. Trainers, sports footwear and casual sandals are prohibited across the entire racecourse.
One social media user was quick to call out Dylan's fashion faux pas. "Thought sandals weren't allowed but in the last pic a woman is wearing sandals," they penned on Instagram.
Dylan's blonde locks were styled into a sleek bob while her makeup oozed glam, courtesy of a bronze eye and bold red lip.

Wrexham are an outlier in football’s bonkers financial ecosystem.
Missing out on a Championship playoff spot on the final day of 2024-25, their run of consecutive promotions in the English football league system is over. But commercially, they are still in full flight.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac’s ownership of the club, in tandem with investment from the ultra-wealthy Allyn family and the near-$1trn private equity firm Apollo, has helped the provincial Welsh club access commercial markets that would be fantastical for their rivals in the second tier, where average annual losses total £15m thanks to the inflationary cycle inherent to the race to reach the Premier League.
Thanks to sponsorship deals with blue-chip brands like United Airlines, Meta and HP, Wrexham are able to simultaneously outspend practically all of their Championship peers in the wage and transfer markets, as well as plan long-term for the future with the ongoing expansion of the Racecourse Ground.
The club’s accounts for 2024-25, the most recent published financial year, showed wages just shy of £20m and amortisation (which is how clubs spread the costs of new signings over the duration of a player’s contract for accounting purposes) of £2.4m

June 7 (UPI) -- While American racing attention was riveted to Saratoga during the Belmont Festival weekend, much of the rest of the world had eyes on Epsom Downs for the Derby and the Oaks or on Tokyo Racecourse, where ******* anese milers tackled the Grade 1 Yasuda Kinen.
Of course, Derby was the main course.
Aidan O'Brien was a solid favorite to saddle his 12th Derby winner and fourth in a row, Saturday at Epsom Downs. And he did, but not without some surprises and a dash of controversy.
O'Brien had four runners in the Classic, including the favorite, Benvenuto Cellini, a Frankel colt who won the Group 3 Chester Vase as his entry to the big race.
But when the gates were sprung open for the Derby, Benvenuto Cellini got away well back in the field and it was two other O'Brien colts, Action and Christmas Day, who showed the way on the rain-soaked course.
