"I did want to be a policeman when I was younger; I did think I would be a good policeman," he admitted. William then recalled his brief aspirations of becoming a DJ, a dream that never materialized. However, he had already picked out a stage name for himself.

"The plan worked," Venable said. "Everyone did a great job. They came out, they executed, got the outs we needed. The line for the bullpen speaks for itself."
There was really only one hiccup, when Grant Taylor gave up a leadoff homer to Brooks Lee and then walked Ryan Jeffers in the seventh inning, but even he went on to **** ert his dominance. After those two batters, he retired the next three in the seventh and struck out the side in the eighth inning.

In a new episode of her "Not Gonna Lie" podcast, the mom of four opened up about watching her second daughter, Elliotte, start kindergarten. This comes just months after her oldest, Wyatt, made the same jump.
Kylie Kelce gets real about her daughter starting kindergarten and her fear of kids growing up. Kylie joked that part of the reason she and husband Jason Kelce had four kids was to improve the odds. At least one of them, she hopes, will never actually leave home.
She admitted she's only about 75% joking, quickly clarifying that she genuinely wants her daughters to grow up ambitious and independent. Still, she said she also wants them to visit often and stay involved in her life. Kylie expressed that she wants them to keep coming home as much as possible.
The podcaster explained that her real issue isn't with kindergarten itself, but with what it represents. Once kids start full days of school, five days a week, it can feel different. She said it's like the beginning of them slowly leaving for good. True to her laid-back "Type C mom" style, she's trying to focus on how excited Elliotte is about starting, rather than letting her own feelings take over the moment.

MINNEAPOLIS - Detroit Tigers manager A.J. Hinch spoke with a sharp edge to his voice.
There was no smile, no joking around, no chitchat. He was in no mood to mess around.
"There's edge to the day because we hold ourselves to a higher bar," Hinch said before the Tigers played a mostly solid game, well, until their bullpen melted down again to force extra innings. But Spencer Torkelson hit a clutch homer in the 12th inning, then Javier Baez lofted a three-RBI double to make it even more comfortable, as the Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins, 11-6, at Target Field on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
At the moment Hinch spoke in a pregame session, the Tigers had lost 14 of their previous 17 games.
"It's not good right now," Hinch said. "I'm not shying away from it. It's our own doing."
