Artisan Partners, an investment management company, released its second-quarter 2026 investor commentary for the "Artisan Global Opportunities Strategy". The letter can be downloaded here. Global equities rebounded sharply during the quarter, with the MSCI ACWI Index returning 15.3% as resilient economic growth, strong corporate earnings, and continued enthusiasm around artificial intelligence supported markets despite persistent inflation, higher bond yields, and geopolitical uncertainty. The portfolio reported strong absolute returns of 12.65% (net) but underperformed the benchmark, mainly because of its underweight exposure to information technology and overweight position in health care. Strong stock selection in technology and energy partially offset these headwinds. The fund continues to see attractive long-term opportunities across AI infrastructure, health care and consumer internet, while remaining disciplined on valuation as several AI-related stocks have appreciated sharply. Management remains focused on durable franchises with identifiable profit cycles and attractive long-term earnings potential. Also, check the Strategy's top five holdings to see its best picks in 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Artisan Global Opportunities Strategy highlighted Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM). Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) is a clinical-stage biotechnology company that develops and commercializes therapies for patients with serious and rare diseases. On September 01, 2026, Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) closed at $121.51 per share. Over the past month, Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) returned 25.42%, and its shares lost 13.45% over the past 52 weeks. Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) has a market capitalization of $27.14 billion.
Artisan Global Opportunities Strategy stated the following regarding Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"Our biggest detractors in Q2 were Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM), BAE Systems and L3Harris Technologies. Insmed is a commercial-stage biotechnology company focused on pulmonary diseases. BRINSUPRI® continued its rapid launch, with robust patient uptake and encouraging third-party data. While Q1 sales came in modestly below elevated investor expectations, reflecting concerns around discontinuation rates, continuation on therapy and typical early-year seasonality, we believe the underlying launch trajectory remains encouraging. We continue to view BRINSUPRI® as a significant long-term opportunity. Our due diligence suggests the therapy remains well tolerated and is on track to achieve blockbuster-level sales. We trimmed the position during the quarter."

MARLETTE — Both Centreville and Mendon were able to win this past week, earning 1-0 records as they each started the season.
The Mendon Hornets hit the road on Friday night, making the lengthy trip up to the Thumb and coming home with a 46-8 win over the Red Raiders.
"Solid Week 1 performance for us," Mendon coach Bobby Kretschman said. "Played a very clean game offensively and took care of the ball and outside of one long TD run, we played sound defense."
The Hornets scored first in the game, it came during the opening quarter. Zak Iobe found the end zone, this came on a 17-yard scamper to get on the board first.
Iobe would score three more times in the game — a 25-yard run and a 4-yard run in the second quarter plus a 51-yard run in the third quarter. Xavior Zinsmaster scored on a 35-yard TD run late in the contest as well.

Baron Capital, an investment management company, released its Q2 2026 investor letter for the "Baron Health Care Fund". A copy of the letter is available to download here. The Fund gained 11.99% during the quarter, compared with the 10.48% gain for the Russell 3000 Health Care Index and the 15.44% gain for the Russell 3000 Index. Since inception, the Fund appreciated 10.61% on an annualized basis, compared with 10.02% for the Benchmark and 14.83% for the Index. Strong stock selection in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, health care equipment, and life sciences tools and services supported the Fund's outperformance, although limited exposure to managed care stocks reduced relative returns. The Fund remains positive on health care due to improving biotechnology funding, strong acquisition activity, recovering managed care margins, and growth from an aging population, chronic disease, medical innovation, and higher health care spending. In addition, please check the Fund's top five holdings to know the best picks in 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Baron Health Care Fund highlighted Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM). Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM), which develops and commercializes therapies for patients with serious and rare diseases, detracted from the fund's performance during the quarter. On August 03, 2026, Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) closed at $98.45 per share. The one-month return of Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) was -12.56%, and its shares lost 11.59% over the past 52 weeks. Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) has a market capitalization of $21.34 billion.
Baron Health Care Fund stated the following regarding Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"Insmed Incorporated is a biotechnology company with three lead pulmonology ******* ets that we believe can collectively generate more than $8 billion in peak sales. We are particularly excited about Brinsupri for non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis, which we view as a $5 billion-plus opportunity. Despite what we believe has been a strong start to the launch, shares fell after first quarter Brinsupri sales missed expectations as investors focused on early signs of higher treatment discontinuations. Insmed's exit from the Nasdaq-100 Index created additional technical selling pressure. Long term, we continue to view Brinsupri as an important treatment option for the 500,000-plus bronchiectasis patients in the U.S. We remain bullish on the portfolio's long-term fundamentals, including the opportunity for treprostinil palmitil inhalation powder (TPIP), which is being studied for pulmonary arterial hypertension and pulmonary hypertension ******* ociated with interstitial lung disease. Compared to existing inhaled prostanoids that require four daily treatments, once-daily TPIP is more convenient and can be dosed at significantly higher levels, potentially resulting in meaningfully better efficacy."

Tate McRae kept the fashion moments coming long after stepping off the Lollapalooza stage, donning a lace slip micro minidress from Doen. After turning heads in multiple Ludovic de Saint Sernin looks during her performance, the pop star switched gears for an after-hours celebration, slipping into a delicate minidress by Doen while hanging out backstage with The Chainsmokers.
Tate McRae wore the Doen Evra Slip Dress in Sea Salt, a barely-there lace number that perfectly balanced sweet and sultry. It featured thin spaghetti straps, a soft scoop neckline trimmed with scalloped lace, and an all-over floral lace construction.
The piece had a romantic, lingerie-inspired feel. Its body-hugging silhouette skimmed her figure before ending at an ultra-short hemline that rode high on her thighs, making the tiny slip dress feel even more daring.
McRae paired the ivory mini with diamond stud earrings and a minimalistic bracelet, letting the intricate lace remain the focus. She wore her blonde hair in loose, tousled waves and opted for glowing makeup with bronzed skin and glossy lips. Additionally, a black shoulder bag with silver hardware added contrast to the monochrome outfit.
Photos from backstage captured the "Sports Car" singer smiling alongside Alex Pall and Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers after her Lollapalooza set. In another playful snap, McRae was seen holding up a giant bottle of Fireball whiskey while laughing with friends. She embraced the celebratory mood after a successful weekend at the Chicago music festival.

Carillon Tower Advisers, an investment management company, released its second-quarter 2026 investor letter for the "Carillon Eagle Mid Cap Growth Fund". A copy of the letter is available to download here. Mid-cap stocks delivered strong results, with the Russell Midcap® Growth Index rising 14.55% and slightly outperforming the Russell Midcap® Value Index's 13.40% gain. Information technology led the growth index with a 36.90% return, while industrials also outperformed, and energy was the only sector to decline. The quarter was supported by resilient corporate earnings, economic growth and AI infrastructure spending, although geopolitical tensions, higher energy prices and election-related uncertainty could create volatility. The firm remains optimistic that data-center investment will support technology, energy, defense and automation companies, while attractive healthcare valuations and stronger merger activity could create opportunities. However, financials and consumer stocks face mixed conditions because of housing weakness, inflation and uneven spending. In addition, please check the Fund's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.
In its second-quarter 2026 investor letter, Carillon Eagle Mid Cap Growth Fund highlighted Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM). Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) is a biopharmaceutical company focusing on developing therapies for patients with serious and rare diseases. On July 23, 2026, Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) closed at $103.12 per share, reflecting a market capitalization of $22.35 billion. Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) posted a one-month return of -10.60%, and its shares lost 7.00% over the past 52 weeks.
Carillon Eagle Mid Cap Growth Fund stated the following regarding Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) in its Q2 2026 investor letter:
"Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing therapies for serious and rare diseases. The company underperformed primarily because first-quarter Brinsupri sales, which were ahead of consensus estimates, fell short of more bullish estimates. Fortunately, second-quarter prescription trends have been strong and point to sales closer to the high end of consensus expectations."

Fred Alger Management, an investment management company, released its "Alger Mid Cap Focus Fund" second-quarter 2026 investor letter. A copy of the letter can be downloaded here. US equities strongly rebounded in the second quarter, with the S&P 500 Index returning 15.2%. A ceasefire between the United States and Iran and accelerated investment in artificial intelligence (AI) fueled market optimism in the quarter, driving the Information Technology and Industrials sectors forward, while Energy and Utilities lagged due to falling oil and gas prices. Despite discussions about AI disruption, opportunities are identified within sectors adopting the technology as it enters its agentic phase. The Alger Mid Cap Focus Fund's Class A shares outperformed the Russell Midcap Growth Index in the quarter, driven by strong performances in Information Technology and Health Care, while Communication Services and Consumer Discretionary detracted from the performance. In addition, please check the Fund's top five holdings to know its best picks in 2026.

Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) posted a one-month return of 9.85%, and its shares gained 5.39% over the past 52 weeks.
Alger Mid Cap Focus Fund stated the following regarding Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) in its Q2 2026 investor update:
"Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM), GFL Environmental Inc, and Karman Holdings Inc. were among the top detractors from performance. Insmed is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on respiratory, inflammatory, pulmonary, and rare disease treatments, with an approved portfolio that includes Brinsupri and Arikayce. The company's opportunity is tied to expanding adoption of its commercial products while advancing a pipeline aimed at areas of meaningful unmet medical need. During the quarter, shares detracted from performance despite headline results that were generally better than expected, as investors focused on early launch dynamics for Brinsupri. Concerns centered on patient additions, discontinuation rates, and compliance trends, which raised questions about the quality and durability of the launch. While these issues pressured the stock, management has begun providing greater detail around launch dynamics, and we believe improved execution and additional data could help restore investor confidence over time."

Former Germany coach Berti Vogts has urged that the restructuring of German football in the wake of another early World Cup exit should focus on coach education and give former national team players a better chance to take this step.
“I ask myself: Where does our football stand? I have to admit: Unfortunately, it is a long way from world-class. One of the underlying reasons is also the quality of the coaches,” Vogts wrote in his World Cup column for daily Rheinische Post on Monday.
“Perhaps access to coaching jobs should once again be made easier for established former national team players, that might make the role more attractive.”
Back in the early 2000s, the German Football Federation (DFB) had already introduced such a course, which was attended by, among others, future national team coach Jürgen Klinsmann.
Germany went out in the last 32 against Paraguay at the tournament in North America, following group stage exits at the previous two editions.

Right-hander Alex Petrovic grew up in Cypress, Texas, a suburb of Houston, the son of parents who played basketball at Oberlin College. Alex's physical gifts manifested themselves on the baseball diamond rather than the basketball court, and the youngster quickly began standing out on the sandlots around Texas. He attended Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball, Texas, where he dominated as both a hitter and a pitch, earning TAPPS First Team All-State honors in 2022 and 2023. Inflammation in his right arm kept him off of the mound for the majority of his senior year, and may have cost him a selection in the 2023 MLB Draft; despite solid results, Petrovic was not considered an elite talent, and he ended up going undrafted, leading him to honor his commitment to Auburn University.
His career with the Tigers began inauspiciously, as the inflammation in his arm returned that fall. It calmed down to the point that, when the spring began, the right-hander was able to take the mound for his new team after missing the first three weeks of the season. Appearing in 7 games for Auburn, Petrovic allowed 7 earned runs in 11.0 innings, good for a 5.73 ERA, giving up 15 hits, walking 3, and striking out 17. There is a chance that the right-hander might have improved as the weather continued warming, but Petrovic sustained a stress fracture in his right elbow in early April, ending his season prematurely.
The right-hander had surgery on his elbow, having screws inserted into it, and returned to the mound at Plainsman Park for the 2025 season. Improbably, the exact same thing almost happened a second year in a row. The right-hander appeared in 7 games, starting 5, and posted a 4.34 ERA in 18.2 innings, allowing 13 hits, walking 4, and striking out 25, but once again, an injury on a different spot on his arm sustained in early April ended his season early. His velocity had backed up from the low-90s into the high-80s and his breaking **** did not look as sharp, and it was only a matter of time before something in his arm went off. A draft-eligible sophomore because of his age, Petrovic did not hear his name called in the 2025 MLB Draft.
When his arm felt better later that summer, the right-hander went to a baseball training facility in Lakeland, Florida- the Florida Base ARMory- and worked on making subtle changing his mechanics to put less stress on his arm and elbow and hopefully prevent a third-consecutive season-ending injury in 2026.
The 22-year-old returned to Auburn for his redshirt sophomore season armed with new mechanics and not only was he able to make it through the entire year without an injury, but Petrovic also had a very solid season. His fastball having gained a few ticks from the mechanical changes that were made and his secondary stuff looking sharper, he appeared in 17 games, starting all of them, and posted a 3.21 ERA in 92.2 innings, allowing 70 hits, walking 24, and striking out 92.

Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) is among the Best Healthcare Stocks.
On June 15, Mizuho lowered its price target on Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) to $192 from $202. It maintained an Outperform rating on the shares. The firm stated the recent selloff created a buying opportunity even though shares have fallen 29% since the company's first-quarter report.
Mizuho found the sharp move in investor sentiment "shocking" and expressed confidence in both Insmed and BRINSUPRI.
Separately, on June 23, Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) announced that it appointed Samuele Butera as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Respiratory, effective immediately. He will lead the firm's Respiratory Therapeutic Area, report to Chair and CEO Will Lewis, and join the executive committee.
Lewis said Butera's commercial leadership experience would support the launch of BRINSUPRI, the potential label expansion of ARIKAYCE, and the development of the TPIP program.

Harry Kane became England’s record goalscorer at the men's World Cup after he scored during the second half of the 2-0 Group L win over Panama.
Kane headed home Jude Bellingham’s cross to make it 2-0 at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to take his tally to 11, moving clear of Gary Lineker. England topped the group having already qualified for the last 32.
The Bayern Munich striker levelled with Lineker after bagging a brace against Croatia in England’s opening game last week, but he now has another record to add to his collection.
His 82nd international goal takes him level with Jürgen Klinsmann and Sandor Kocsis on 11 World Cup goals and he will be hoping to climb the list further by going on a deep run in the tournament.
Kane won the Golden Boot in 2018 in Russia when he scored six goals during England’s run to the semi-final, including a hat-trick against Panama.

Harry Kanescored two goals in England's opening 4-2 win over Croatia, giving him 10 in World Cup play to match Gary Lineker's English record. It also pushed Kane into a seven-way tie for seventh in tournament history.

Kane, who is a huge fan of the New England Patriots and Tom Brady, gets a chance to add to that total when England faces surprising Ghana at Boston Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Tuesday.
Should he score, Kane would move into a tie for sixth with Germany's Jürgen Klinsmann and Hungary's Sándor Kocsis. A win would send England to the knockout stage for the third straight World Cup.
Ghana is tied with England atop Group L following its opening 1-0 win over Panama on Brandon Thomas-Asante's goal in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time. Ghana is looking for its first trip to the knockout stage since reaching the quarterfinals in 2010.

Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) is one of the most promising healthcare stocks according to Wall Street ****** ysts. On June 10, Cantor Fitzgerald reaffirmed its Overweight rating on Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) and raised its price target from $230 to $235.
The firm pointed to an upcoming data release for Insmed's experimental lung drug TPIP as a potential catalyst that investors may be underestimating. TPIP, which stands for Treprostinil Palmitil Inhalation Powder, is an inhaled therapy Insmed is developing for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
According to Cantor Fitzgerald, it has been roughly a year since Insmed first presented the Phase 2b clinical trial results for TPIP in PAH. The firm sees the next data release as a moment that could meaningfully revive investor interest in the drug. This data is a one-year open label extension update expected in Q3 2026. For context, an open label extension is the phase of a clinical study where all patients are given the actual drug and monitored over a longer period, and the data from this phase typically gives a clearer picture of how durable and safe the treatment is over time.
The firm noted that if the next data release provides robust results, the market may shift focus from Brinsupri, Insmed's drug for non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis. This is because the market is significantly undervaluing TPIP just because Brinsupri posted blowout revenue at the end of Q1 2026.
Insmed Incorporated (NASDAQ:INSM) is a biopharmaceutical company. It focuses on developing and commercializing therapies for serious and rare diseases. One of its lead approved product is ARIKAYCE, an inhaled antibiotic delivered via the Lamira Nebulizer System.

This morning we look back at the time Georgia broke Auburn’s cheatin’ little hearts. Again.
The 1994 season will not go down as one of the highlights in the pantheon of Georgia Bulldog football. In many ways it was the epitome of the pre-Mark Richt era at Georgia. The Bulldogs began the season by beating South Carolina and getting waxed by Tennessee. Ray Goff’s Dawgs beat Ole Miss, but then lost a one point game on the road at #11 Alabama.
And that, as they say, is when the ship hit the sand. After beating Clemson the Red and Black found a way to lose at home by two touchdowns to Vanderbilt. Then they went down to Gainesville and. in their only post-WWII appearance in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, took an absolute shellacking at the hands of the Florida Gators, 52-14.
And so it was a battered, bruised, and rightfully unranked Bulldog team that limped into Jordan-Hare Stadium on November 12, 1994 to take on Terry Bowden’s undefeated and #3 ranked Auburn Tigers.
True to expectation the Tigers jumped out to a 23-9 lead and appeared set to cruise to victory before heading into a top five Iron Bowl showdown with Alabama. Then the strangest thing happened: the Athenians decided to wake up and play ball. Cornerback (and future tailback) Robert Edwards picked off Plainsmen QB Patrick Nix to stall the Tiger offense. Then this happened:

A pair of SEC rivals are ready to collide at Plainsman Park with a trip to the College World Series on the line as the Auburn Tigers host the Ole Miss Rebels for game one of the Auburn Super Regional. Friday's game between the Tigers and Rebels will be the first of the season despite both teams playing in the same conference.
Auburn baseball grabbed the No. 4 national seed in this season's NCAA Tournament and is hosting an NCAA Super Regional for the second-straight season. The Tigers are hoping to erase last season's Super Regional result, where they were swept in two games by eventual national runner-up Coastal Carolina.
Auburn earned its place in this season's Super Regional by winning four games over three days last weekend in the Auburn Regional. After dropping its Auburn Regional opener to Milwaukee, Auburn rattled off wins over NC State and UCF, and ended the weekend by getting revenge on Milwaukee by beating them in two straight games.
Ole Miss swept the competition at the Lincoln Regional, hosted by Nebraska, last weekend. Ole Miss defeated Arizona State twice and Nebraska once to earn the chance to play an SEC foe on a big stage.
