Friday's game between the Tigers and Rebels will be the first of the season despite both teams playing in the same conference.
Auburn baseball grabbed the No. 4 national seed in this season's NCAA Tournament and is hosting an NCAA Super Regional for the second-straight season. Ole Miss swept the competition at the Lincoln Regional, hosted by Nebraska, last weekend. Ole Miss defeated Arizona State twice and Nebraska once to earn the chance to play an SEC foe on a big stage.
