Cora Castellani has seen Bucknell University merchandise in her family's house for most of her life.
More than three decades ago, her father, Corey, was a linebacker for the Bison in the early 1990s after earning all-state honors at Valley View.
Now, he will have to dig out some of his old sweatshirts, and the family will spend a few more years cheering on the blue and orange, but this time on the basketball court in the Sojka Pavilion.
Cora committed on Thursday to attend Bucknell University, where she will play NCAA Division I women's basketball for head coach Trevor Woodruff. The Bison finished 11-19 overall last season and 7-11 in the Patriot League.
"I am super excited," Castellani, 17, said. "I have been there several times and have always been super impressed with the campus. Once I got there and saw the basketball program, the facilities, and the culture, plus the great academic school that it is, I made my decision.

CHELSEA — Tim Robison wants Chelsea to win football games, but his definition of winning extends well beyond Friday nights.
As Robison prepares for his first season as a head coach, he is attempting to build something designed to last, from higher expectations in the weight room and stronger connections from youth football through high school to a champion mentality that applies whether the Green Dragons are lining up for kickoff or walking through the halls.
The wins, Robison believes, can follow the habits.
And as Chelsea begins a new era, establishing those habits is priority No. 1.
"I'm a person that likes to produce good men and good women," Robison said. "That's my teaching and coaching philosophy. It's not all about football for me. Football is on the forefront, but right behind it, really close for me, is raising young men and young women."

Aug. 26—GRAND FORKS — A year ago, all six home UND football games exceeded 10,000 fans for the first time.
UND officials expect to continue that trend to kick off the 2026 season, although the school will still rely on a walk-up turnout when the Fighting Hawks take on Long Island University at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Alerus Center.
As of late last week, UND was sitting at roughly 3 percent attrition for season tickets compared to 2025. Early this week, that number started to improve, according to UND deputy athletic director Erik Martinson.
UND's season ticket sales have fluctuated in recent years around approximately 5,000 to 6,000, with the North Dakota State home-road matchup often the key variable between totals.
The Bison are no longer on UND's schedule as NDSU moves into the Mountain West Conference this season.

The Rochester Red Wings erased an early two-run deficit, but the Buffalo Bisons broke a tie with a four-run sixth inning and held on for a 6-3 victory Tuesday night at ESL Ballpark. Rochester finished with six hits, while Buffalo collected eight.
The loss dropped the Red Wings to 76-49, while Buffalo improved to 63-63. Grant Rogers earned the win for the Bisons, and Matt Krook was charged with the loss.
The Bisons wasted little time getting on the board in the opening inning. Rudy Martin Jr. walked and Jay Harry followed with a single before Sean Keys brought home the game's first run on a groundout. Yohendrick Piñango then lined an RBI single to center to score Harry and give Buffalo a 2-0 lead.
Rochester starter Zak Kent settled in afterward, allowing two runs over 2⅓ innings before Andry Lara delivered 2⅔ scoreless innings of relief to keep the game within reach.
The Red Wings responded in the fifth.

Enzo Maresca's Manchester City came from behind late on to win his first Premier League game in charge. It was also Marco Rose's managerial debut for Bournemouth.
Below is how I rated the players, and then how you rated the players.
What do BBC Sport's player ratings mean?
Gianluigi Donnarumma: Could do nothing about Bournemouth's opener but made superb saves to deny Justin Kluivert's low effort and Daniel Jebbison's flicked header. 6
Rico Lewis: Inverting into midfield from right-back, Lewis got forward and had an early effort saved but lacked quality overall before being taken off. 5

The Arizona Cardinals have seen a couple of their rookies, Carson Beck and Jeremiyah Love, shine so far in the preseason. Unfortunately, both have gotten banged up in their preseason action.
Beck suffered a minor rib injury in the Pro Football Hall of Fame game that caused him to miss the team's second preseason contest against the Las Vegas Raiders. Meanwhile, Love played against the Raiders but left with a minor ankle injury that will keep him out of Saturday's game against the Cowboys.
Those rookie injuries aren't the only ones with which the Cardinals are dealing. The team's second-round pick, offensive lineman Chase Bisontis, suffered a torn MCL against the Raiders and may miss his rookie season because of it.
With that in mind, it's worth wondering exactly how much the Cardinals will play their starters as the preseason progresses. It's also worth wondering whether the Cowboys will give their starters any action after relying on Joe Milton and the team's backups in their preseason opener against the Seattle Seahawks.
Here's what to know about the Cowboys vs. Cardinals preseason game and how to watch it.

The Cardinals will be short-handed when they take the field for Week 2 of the preseason.
Arizona entered the preliminary season with high hopes, buoyed by newcomer Jeremiyah Love's dancing feet and an impressive Hall of Fame Game performance by Carson Beck.
Things have soured for Arizona in recent weeks, however. Beck is day-to-day with a rib injury, while Love will miss the remainder of preseason due to a high ankle sprain. Fellow first-years Chase Bisontis and Kaleb Proctor suffered season-ending injuries, adding to the heartbreak.
Mike LaFleur's side will look for signs of positivity when it takes on the Cowboys — and their high-profile rookie, Caleb Downs — in Week 2. Dallas secured a 17-7 win over the Seahawks in Week 1, benefitting from strong displays by Joe Milton III, Sam Howell and Camden Brown.

The Arizona Cardinals will start Gardner Minshew against the Dallas Cowboys in this weekend's preseason game. That much has been announced.
Minshew has been getting plenty of first-team reps, and is at the ready for the backup role or for a starting position.
RELATED: LOVE DEALING WITH A HIGH ANKLE SPRAIN
Currently, Jacoby Brissett is listed on the Cardinals depth chart as the starting quarterback, with Minshew the backup and rookie Carson Beck and Kedon Slovis battling it out for QB3. This is not to say that any of these signalcallers can slide up and down the depth chart. That is what training camp and the preseason games are for.
Minshew is expected to start and play the first half along with the remainder of the second-team offense. It will be interesting to see who plays right guard for the injured Chase Bisontis. Slovis will man the second half with some second-string guys, and then the third team will get on the field. These guys are fighting for roster spots. It is ******* umed that Minshew will come out of the halftime locker room and start the second half, then sit.

The Arizona Cardinals beat the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday 27-14 in preseason action. The starters played only one series, and two of the Cardinals' top draft picks got hurt.
Offensive lineman Chase Bisontis, their second-round pick, suffered a season-ending knee injury, tearing his MCL. Running back Jeremiyah Love, the No. 3 pick in the draft, hurt his ankle and hopefully will be ready to play in the season opener. However, there is a bit of a story as to how we got to that point of information.
In a new episode of the podcast, cohost Seth ******* and I talk about the game. We discuss how the starters did. We break down the problems that led to Love's injury and go over the other Cardinals standouts in the game.

For the fourth consecutive summer, the Arizona Cardinals have lost a drafted offensive lineman to a knee injury, with two for the entire season.
The latest is this year's second-round choice, guard Chase Bisontis, who suffered a torn MCL in Thursday's preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders. He was placed on injured reserve Saturday and won't play this season.
Last year, sixth-round center-guard Hayden Conner was injured in the team's second preseason game and was placed on IR Aug. 26. He was activated on Nov. 29 and played five games.
In 2024, it was tackle Christian Jones, selected in the fifth round. He injured his knee in the preseason finale, spent the first chunk of the season on injured reserve and appeared in two games.
In 2023, fourth-round center/guard Jon Gaines II suffered a knee injury in the final preseason game and missed the entire season after going on IR Aug. 29.

Who will make the roster as the primary backup guard?
Who are the candidates?

It is official. Rookie offensive lineman Chase Bisontis, the Arizona Cardinals' second-round pick this year, saw his rookie season come to a close after two preseason games.
The Cardinals placed him on injured reserve on Saturday in a flurry of roster moves, which ended his season.
He suffered a torn MCL in his left knee on Thursday in the Cardinals' 27-14 preseason win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
It was previously reported that he would miss at least most of the season, so if the Cardinals believed that he could return with time left in the regular season, they could have waited to place him on injured reserve.
NFL teams are permitted to have two players they place on injured reserve on roster cutdown day designated to return, allowing them to potentially come back during the season without having been on the 53-man active roster first. Otherwise, a player must spend at least a day on the 53-man roster before going on injured reserve to be eligible to return. However, any player who lands on injured reserve right now is out for the season unless later waived with an injury settlement.

The Blue Jackets now have an ECHL affiliation, announcing Aug. 6 that a two-year agreement with the Wheeling Nailers will start with the upcoming season.
More coverage: Hockey fans, internet react to Blue Jackets radio broadcast changes
Adding the Nailers gives the Jackets a second developmental team, and being in Wheeling, West Virginia, it's a relatively short driving distance from Columbus and Cleveland, where the AHL's Monsters reside.
"Wheeling has a long tradition of both player development and organizational success, and its proximity to both Cleveland and Columbus will be advantageous on the hockey side, while providing a great opportunity to promote our organization and the game throughout the region," Blue Jackets **** istant general manager/Cleveland Monsters GM Chris Clark said in a statement.
The Nailers, who were the Pittsburgh Penguins' ECHL affiliate from 1998-2026, will compete in the ECHL's Western Conference Central Division with the Bloomington Bison, Cincinnati Cyclones, Fort Wayne Komets, Indy Fuel, Kalamazoo Wings and Toledo Walleye.

The Arizona Cardinals are a week into training camp and we are able to note who is practicing with which units — the starters, the backups or the deep backups. The Cardinals' first two draft picks, running back Jeremiyah Love and guard Chase Bisontis, have been getting consistent second-team snaps and some with the first team.
However, the rest of the rookies have been further down the depth chart, except for one, and it might surprise you.
According to AZCentral Sports' Theo Mackie, tackle Jayden Williams, their seventh-round pick, has consistently been working with the second-team offense, suggesting he might have a real shot at making the 53-man roster.
With Paris Johnson and Elijah Wilkinson the two starting tackles, Josh Fryar and Williams have been on the second-team offense. It is early in camp, but Williams is ahead of other tackles on the roster like Christian Jones, Oli Udah and Demontrey Jacobs.
That will be a battle to watch once preseason games start.

The Rochester Red Wings scored three runs in the 10th inning Thursday to break a 2-2 tie and defeat the Buffalo Bisons 5-2.
Phillip Glasser opened the inning as the automatic runner at second base for the Red Wings. Christian Franklin moved Glasser to third with a sacrifice bunt, and Abimelec Ortiz followed with a sacrifice fly to left field that put the Red Wings ahead 3-2.
Back-to-back walks to Brady House and Andrew Pinckney set the stage for Trey Lipscomb, who lined a two-run double to right field to cap the scoring.
Buffalo took a 1-0 lead in the third inning. Josh Kasevich hit a double to right field, advanced to third on a flyout and scored on a wild pitch by Jackson Kent.
Rochester responded in the fifth inning. Glasser singled to left field, and Franklin walked. House then hit a two-run triple to center field, giving the Red Wings a 2-1 lead.

Bison that appear to be grazing peacefully are able to accelerate into a terrifying pace, making them among the most dangerous animals in Yellowstone, where one of the giant bovines recently charged at and tossed a grandfather.
Carl McDaniel, 65, suffered multiple bone fractures in the July 10 attack at the national park but lived to tell the tale, as seen in a video he recorded a few days later from his bed at Bozeman Health Deaconess Medical Center in southern Montana.
"He wasn't showing aggression or anything like that until it picked a target. That target happened to be me," McDaniel said in the video posted on Instagram on Saturday.
McDaniel was on a after-dinner stroll with his grandson when the attack happened at Bridge Bay Campground, not far from Yellowstone Lake.
"They move faster than you could ever imagine. He just kept coming," he said. The bison did not connect with McDaniel's grandson, who was not hurt.

The full family is in place.
One of the most anticipated things relating to the new Highmark Stadium home of the Buffalo Bills in western New York has involved something just outside of the building.
Bills fans have a lot of Buffalo pride in them and if there was one request the fans had for the new venue? It was to display exactly that with bison statues outside of the front door.
Previously Bills Wire shared the installment of the first bison. Now the whole family is in place.
Check out a collection of views of the whole bison lot below:

A man is recovering from surgery after he was tossed into the air by a bison at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
The unidentified man was seen walking with his grandson when the bison charged at him and threw him up into the air after he attempted to run away from the massive animal on Friday.
"A 65-year-old man was injured by a bison on the evening of July 10 at Bridge Bay Campground near Lake Yellowstone," park officials told ABC News in a statement. "Park emergency medical personnel responded and transported him to a nearby hospital."
Campers first noticed the lone bison amid the tents as it began to run around the campsite, and shouted to warn others.
Mike MacLeod, a local park photographer who witnessed the attack and captured it on video, told ABC News he "really didn't think [the bison] was going to pick those two people of all the people who were even way closer."

The Seattle Seahawks' offensive line showcased terrific growth in 2025. That improvement was a massive reason why the Seahawks won Super Bowl 60. Heading into the 2026 NFL season, we've ranked all four offensive lines in the NFC West division from best to worst.
The Seahawks' offensive line was a legitimate ***** et last season and they return all five starters in 2026. Position coach John Benton was also retained despite offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak leaving for the Las Vegas Raiders. From left to right, Charles Cross, Grey Zabel, Jalen Sundell, Anthony Bradford and Abe Lucas should form a formidable starting five once again.
Future Hall of Fame left tackle Trent Williams returns to the San Francisco 49ers after an offseason contract dispute. Dominick Puni has already signed a lucrative extension and the 49ers have an answer at right tackle in Colton McKivitz. This is a well-balanced unit for Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey.
The Los Angeles Rams have two high-quality guards in Steve Avila and Kevin Dotson. Both tackle spots are questionable (Alaric Jackson, Warren McClendon Jr.). The Rams are a complete roster, but the offensive line has some question marks.
Paris Johnson Jr. has developed into a franchise left tackle for the Arizona Cardinals. They also just drafted starting right guard Chase Bisontis with an early second-round pick. The Cardinals are getting better on the offensive line, but they are still a rebuilding unit.

The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.
Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2025, questions they face and their roster outlook.
Here is guard Chase Bisontis.
Bisontis is a rookie. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the second round this year with the 34th overall pick. He was a three-year starter at Texas A&M. As a freshman, he played right tackle and right guard. He was the Aggies' starting left guard for his final two seasons in 2024-2025.
Bisontis signed a four-year contract worth a fully guaranteed $13.3 million. He was paid a $6.1 million signing bonus and will make $885,000 in salary. His 2026 cap hit will count more than $2.4 million.

Jul. 7—MITCHELL — College wood-bat summer baseball will be in Mitchell for the first time on Saturday.
If those in charge of the Bison Baseball Club have their way, they'll be back again in 2027 for a full season. Team leaders said they hope to have the Palace City Bison on the diamond to play home games in Mitchell.

Former Buffalo Bills running back O.J. Simpson will not be honored at the team’s new stadium.
Simpson, who was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in one of the most high-profile trials of the 20th century, had been prominently featured on the team’s Wall of Fame at their old stadium.
The team’s new Highmark Stadium opened Tuesday with a “Family Circle” area that honors legendary players. Simpson, who died aged 76 in April 2024 from prostate cancer, will not be included in the area, ESPN first reported.
“We have made an organizational decision that he is not a fit to display inside our new stadium and family circle,” Bills president of business operations Pete Guelli said in a statement Saturday. The ***** e will serve as a gathering place and feature the team’s three bison statues.
Though Simpson set numerous team records and was the first member inducted into the old stadium’s Wall of Fame. But his reputation was beyond repair after he was charged in the stabbing deaths of his ex-wife and her friend in 1994.
