Sangaré has become the west Londoners' fourth first-team addition of the summer window following the arrivals of Jannik Schuster, Jaidon Anthony and Callum Wilson.
"They really went all out to sign me and, when a club does that, it's a very good thing for me and for my future," said the 24-year-old, who was named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year after helping his former side finish second behind Paris Saint-Germain.
"I spoke with the club's management. I'm really pleased to have spoken to these people because they've really shown how much they value me.
"So, coming here was the best choice for me because I spoke to everyone at the club, and everyone wanted me, so I'm really very happy to be here."

Marc Cucurella has caused quite a stir in recent weeks.
First, after winning the World Cup, he got a tattoo of Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente, and then he also treated himself to a new hairstyle.
But Cucurella's biggest highlight so far came when he gave an English postman probably his most exciting day at work in a long time.
The left-back, who is still living in London for now and is set to join Real Madrid shortly, even let his mailman Gary wear his World Cup medal and posed for a photo with him.
"I think I'm the first Englishman in 60 years to hold a World Cup medal in my hands," he joked afterward.

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi said he was "happy for a lot of things" as they return to London unbeaten in three pre-season games after a 2-1 win over Chelsea in Sydney.

Houston Rockets forward Kevin Durant has been a staple in Team USA basketball history at the Olympics, becoming the only player in history to win four gold medals. Durant has won gold at each of the past four Olympic Games, in London (2012), Rio de Janeiro (2016), Tokyo (2020) and Paris (2024).
Recently, the 18-year NBA veteran spoke about the possibility of returning for a fifth gold medal run. "It's really on (USA Basketball managing director) Grant Hill and what Team USA wants to do," Durant told ESPN. "I stay on top of my game, and hopefully I get that call, but there are so many great players who deserve to be on the team."
Durant would be 39 years old by the time of the 2028 Olympic Games but has no signs of slowing down. Durant has averaged 25 points or more in 17 of his 18 seasons, with the only exclusion being his rookie campaign (2007-08), where he averaged 20. That said, there are plenty of rising stars who may gain first-time consideration, like Cooper Flagg (Dallas Mavericks) and Dylan Harper (San Antonio Spurs).

Girona FC concluded a new preseason match this Saturday with the 49th Costa Brava Trophy - 150th Anniversary Estrella Damm at the Montilivi Stadium, where they fell to ****** nal FC 1-4 in a highly demanding game against one of the great clubs in European football.
The match allowed Quique Álvarez's team to continue accumulating competitive minutes and advance in their preparation for the 2026-27 season, against an opponent that showed a great pace of play from the very beginning. The Londoners took the lead in the 16th minute with a goal from Kai Havertz and extended their advantage in the 30th minute thanks to Christos Tzolis, reaching halftime with a favorable 0-2 scoreline.
After the break, Girona responded in the best possible way. The team started the second half with determination, and after two consecutive corners, Arnau Martínez reduced the deficit with a great header in the 50th minute, igniting Montilivi and reopening the game.
Arsenal's response, however, was immediate. Max Dowman restored the two-goal advantage just three minutes later, and Gabriel Jesus sealed the final 1-4 scoreline in the 55th minute. Despite the score, Girona continued to press for the opposing goal until the end, with chances from Minsu and Vladyslv Vanat that were met with strong saves from Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The final stretch of the match allowed both coaches to distribute playing time among much of their squads and continue giving prominence to younger players, one of the main objectives of this preparation period.

Falcons general manager Ian Cunningham already re-signed Drake London and Kyle Pitts, and he was happy to reward another core player with a new contract.

LONDON (AP) — Icelandic coast guards and special forces seized a ship operated by a group founded by anti-whaling activist Paul Watson and detained its crew, officials in the Arctic island nation said Saturday.
The Icelandic Coast Guard said the crew of whaling ship Hvalur 9 requested **** istance on Thursday evening because they believed their safety was under threat from the protest vessel Bandero. It said the Bandero ignored coast guards' instructions to leave Icelandic waters, and later an order to stop its engines.
Coast guards and the police special forces Viking Squad boarded the vessel around midnight on Thursday and detained its crew. Watson was not aboard.
The Captain Paul Watson Foundation confirmed in a statement that the vessel had been seized. It said the 21 crew members were being detained aboard the ship without their phones.
The ship arrived Friday in Reykjavik, Iceland's capital, and police have taken over the investigation, the coast guard agency said. Icelandic national broadcaster RUV reported that police will seek to deport the crew and ban them from returning to Iceland.

Ricky Pearsall's 2026 season is over before it even started. The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver will undergo season-ending surgery to treat a PCL injury that's nagged him since the 2025 campaign, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
After bursting out the gate with 16 catches and 281 yards in his first three games of 2025, Pearsall suffered the PCL injury and was never the same. The former first-round pick missed eight games with the injury and looked hampered upon his return, leading to more receiving work for Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle.
PCL injuries are notoriously difficult to play through because they lead to knee instability, according to Harvard Health. Brock Bowers and Drake London also dealt with PCL injuries in 2025 and didn't exactly play up to their elite standards while recovering.
Pearsall is a massive loss for the 49ers, who are hoping to make a deep playoff push after the rival Seattle Seahawks blasted them 41-6 in the Divisional Round last postseason.
Brandon Aiyuk is still away from the team as he's lobbying for a trade to the Washington Commanders, plus Jauan Jennings is now on the Minnesota Vikings. However, the 49ers added reinforcements in longtime Tampa Bay Buccaneer Mike Evans and second-round pick De'Zhaun Stribling. Here's a look at how the unit could shake out this season.

In the span of three weeks, teams owned by Jimmy Haslam traded DE Myles Garrett and SF/PF Giannis Antetokounmpo in deals that included players and draft compensation. For the Cleveland Browns and Milwaukee Bucks, Haslam's teams, the trades reset their rosters and turn their attention toward the future.
According to a report, Haslam pushed for the package from the Miami Heat over one from the Boston Celtics, due to his experience with Garrett, which led to this humorous "Anthony Schwartz caused the Garrett and Antetokounmpo trades."
Both big trades were similar. The Browns acquired DE Jared Verse and three draft picks, while the Bucks added Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, four draft picks, and one pick swap.
According to Haslam, he believes it is more difficult to rebuild in the NBA than the NFL:
Cleveland fans are aware that Haslam's Browns have made the playoffs just twice, their only two seasons with a winning record during his ownership tenure, and his 14-year record as owner is 78-1501-1. If rebuilding is more difficult for Haslam in the NBA, we send our condolences to the fine fans in Milwaukee for what their process might look like.

While others spend their summers firefighting, Sunderland are quietly and calmly building. Stable ownership, a united dressing room and a coaching staff fully invested in the project have turned the club into one players want to join and more importantly, want to remain.
In years gone by, the reality was very much the opposite; Sunderland were always the club that paid over the odds for bang average players that didn't want to live in the North East but wanted to chase the bright lights of London, or live in the mansions of Cheshire.
Gone are the days of Lee Congerton, Roberto de Fanti and Jim Rodwell struggling through transfer windows under the stewardship of Ellis Short, Stewart Donald and — pardon my French — Charlie Methven, as well as paying over the odds for players like Modibo Diakite, Jozy Altidore, Jack Rodwell and Will Grigg.
Since Kyril Louis-Dreyfus took over, bringing in Kristjaan Speakman alongside a new transfer model, focussing on bringing in young players, realising their potential and selling at a profit, the whole culture of the club has done a full 180, with a squad full of players that want to be at the club, and fewer and fewer instances of our top players searching for moves elsewhere.
Whilst we had a concerning week or so given Chelsea's pursuit of Granit Xhaka in June, the club showed tremendous resolve in keeping hold of the captain and of convincing him that Sunderland is the right place to be.

The market for tokenized stocks is expanding rapidly as more traditional financial institutions embrace blockchain technology, and Ondo Finance continues to lead the sector by total value issued.
Tokenized stocks are blockchain-based versions of traditional financial ******* ets such as publicly traded shares, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and index products. Unlike conventional equities, they can be stored in self-custodied digital wallets, transferred without intermediaries, traded around the clock, and used as collateral across decentralized finance applications.

Olivia Attwood has made another apparent reference to Emily Rose Moloney after previously writing about a "bit on the side" and a "professional bench warmer" amid the fallout from her relationship with Bradley Dack.
The former Love Island contestant reacted to a TikTok comparing women named Emily with women named Olivia, leaving a brief comment days after Dack was photographed spending time with Moloney.
Attwood did not name Moloney or explicitly state that her reaction concerned Dack.
The TikTok carried the caption, "You're either an Emily or an Olivia and I know who I'd rather be." Attwood appeared in the comment section with "OMG" and a crying emoji, according to The Sun.
Dack had recently been photographed with Moloney, whom he knew before his long-running relationship with Attwood. The photographs showed Dack and Moloney walking together and returning to a London property. Their appearance followed reports earlier in the year that they had reconnected.

LONDON, July 30 (Reuters) - Senior base metals traders are being lured to new jobs as demand for their expertise rises amid supply-chain disruptions and soaring investment in ‌metals-intensive data centres, sources with knowledge of the matter said.
Banks are seeing turnover among base metals traders ‌as hedge funds and trading houses step up hiring to expand their commodities teams, the sources said.
"The market for base metals and commodities talent is hot right now," one source said, adding that aluminium and copper traders were "very much in play".
Disruption to aluminium shipments through the Strait of Hormuz and uncertainty surrounding U.S. President Donald Trump's potential copper import tariffs have increased demand for experienced traders. Copper consumption is also expected to rise as investment in data centres and electric vehicles accelerates.

Arsenal have reportedly agreed personal terms in principle with Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior as they look to bring him to the Emirates Stadium. Tottenham Hotspur appear to be moving towards one of the defining decisions of their summer, with Cristian Romero's future still unresolved despite significant progress towards a potential exit. According to TeamTalk, Inter Milan remain firmly in the picture, but the move has slowed at a crucial stage and that has created a genuine opening for clubs in Spain.
The central detail is clear. Spurs have reportedly "agreed a deal in principle worth €40million with the Serie A champions", yet the switch remains incomplete because Romero and Inter have not reached common ground on personal terms. That leaves all parties in a familiar transfer market limbo, where momentum can shift quickly and alternative opportunities can suddenly become more serious.
From Tottenham's perspective, the message is that a departure is still the likeliest outcome. TeamTalk states that Spurs had already "accepted the defender wanted to leave north London this summer", which frames the situation in practical rather than emotional terms. If a player of Romero's stature is seeking a new challenge, the priority becomes securing the right conditions for an exit rather than dragging out an uncomfortable stand-off.
Inter's interest has not faded. Far from it. The Italian side are said to view Romero as a major target and still want to complete a deal once the contractual issues are settled. The report makes clear that "there is still a significant gap between the club's offer and Romero's salary demands", although "negotiations have not broken down entirely" and "neither party has walked away from the table".

LONDON (AP) — Chelsea was fined 10 million pounds ($13.4 million) and given a suspended two-window transfer ban on Friday after appealing penalties for breaching English Football **** ociation agent rules.
The club was initially given a suspended six-point deduction along with the fine but the points penalty has been replaced by the suspended transfer ban.
The FA confirmed the sanctions on the west London club, which admitted to 74 breaches in total of FA regulations covering agents, working with intermediaries and third party investment in players.
The club owners self-reported the breaches to the soccer authorities in 2022, when they were in the process of buying Chelsea from Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.
The six-point deduction, suspended until June 30, 2027, was imposed by the independent commission which initially heard the case. But the club appealed against that. An appeal board instead replaced the points penalty with the suspended two-window transfer ban.

Tottenham Hotspur have emerged as a plausible destination for Marcus Rashford as his Manchester United future moves further out of view, with talkSPORT reporting that an offer in the region of £30 million may be enough to secure a deal this summer.
That figure alone will catch attention across the market. Rashford remains a high-profile name, an England international with elite-level experience and a recent campaign on loan at Barcelona that produced respectable numbers, 14 goals and 11 ******* ists in 49 appearances. Yet the wider context matters. Barcelona declined to make the move permanent and instead committed £69 million to Anthony Gordon, leaving Rashford needing a new solution.
The key point here is that both player and club appear to be working towards a clean break. A reintegration at Old Trafford is not thought to be under consideration, which places the emphasis firmly on finding a buyer capable of meeting a transfer fee and absorbing a significant salary.
Arsenal have previously been mentioned, but the latest indication is that Tottenham may represent the more realistic north London option. As stated on talkSPORT, "I think if he goes anywhere in London, I'm keeping an eye on Tottenham," before the suggestion followed, "I could see that deal happening. Roberto De Zerbi believes that he can get the best out of Marcus Rashford."
