Before Olivia Rodrigo built Daisy Chain Fields Festival around several generations of women in music, she had already spent nearly a decade gracing the red carpet. As of the past two years, the "The Cure" singer has turned to vintage looks from the likes of John Galliano-era Dior to Tom Ford-era Gucci to spring 2000 Versace, with newer Gucci and Saint Laurent looks keeping her style current with a mix of vintage designer duds.
While her performance style has a different approach — think heavy boots with baby-doll dresses — her red carpet style has a throughline of its own. Ahead, take a look at Olivia Rodrigo's red carpet style evolution since 2017.

Draymond Green believes Klay Thompson tearing his Achilles during the 2019 NBA Finals stopped him from leaving the Warriors.
Thompson suffered a brutal Achilles tear in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors, which played a big part in the Warriors losing their chance at a threepeat.
Given that Thompson was entering free agency that summer, there was concern that he might not stay with the Warriors. However, Green is now claiming that the injury ensured he'd stay with the team.

MECHANICSVILLE, Maryland: Lachlan Turner overcame a poor start and charged forward to win her seventh moto of the 2026 season at Budds Creek MX Park in Round 5 of the WMX season.
Turner was well outside the top 10 on the opening lap, but as has been true to form this season, she overcame the disappointing start quickly. She moved into fifth on Lap 1, was third on Lap 2, and took the lead from her principle rival, Charli Cannon, during Lap 4.
From that point on, Turner's victory was uncontested as Turner lengthened the gap in each of the final four laps.
Cannon finished second to keep her perfect streak of top-fives alive and her near perfect record of podium finishes. The winner of Moto 2 in High Point, a victory that also contributed to her overall victory, Cannon has only one result worse than third in nine motos.
In a throwback to the 2025 season when these three riders consistently paced the field, Mikayla Nielsen finished third. She opened the season with a sweep of the podium in the Hangtown Motocross Classic and then had a fuel pump problem in Round 2 at Thunder Valley. Nielsen rebounded to score another podium in Moto 2 that weekend, but struggled since and earned only one more podium in the last four motos.

Recent weeks on the NFL media rights beat have marked a changing of the tides.
Last September, the NFL publicly acknowledged for the first time that it would seek to strike early renewals with its broadcast partners several years prior to the 2029-30 season, when it has the contractual option to exit most of its agreements. The goal for the league was simple: negotiate higher rights fees now and, in return, remove the exit option at the end of the decade, allowing its partners to guarantee themselves NFL inventory well into the 2030s.
At first, it looked as if new deals were inevitable. After all, NFL programming is borderline existential to legacy broadcast networks like CBS, Fox, and NBC, all of which still rely on lucrative retransmission fees from distributors and local affiliates to fund their businesses. But then, things began to change. The NFL started facing pressure from all corners of Washington. Congress, the FCC, the DOJ, and others all started scrutinizing the shift of live sports off of linear television and onto streaming services. Those roadblocks seemingly bought league partners enough time to where no new deals were finalized prior to the 2026-27 season, as the NFL reportedly wanted.
Now, any early deals would only grant the NFL three additional seasons at higher rights fees (assuming it would otherwise exercise its opt-out clause at the end of the decade). And it seems like the league's broadcast partners are starting to sense they have a bit of leverage to hold out without risk of losing the NFL following the 2029-30 season.
During a recent earnings call, Fox Corporation CEO Lachlan Murdoch outright said his network won't negotiate early, instead saying Fox will negotiate with the NFL on a normal cadence around the 2029-30 timeline. Further reporting suggested that negotiations between CBS and the NFL were "on hold" amid Paramount's ongoing effort to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery. And while CBS Sports president David Berson did not outright rule out early negotiations when speaking with Awful Announcing last week, the undertones of his answers suggested nothing was imminent between the two sides.

Mayla Herrick entered the Women's Pro Motocross series with a lot of anticipation. Kept out of the field in the first two rounds because of her age, she debuted in the High Point National and won on her 17th birthday while the two riders who have dominated the ladies' series, Lachlan Turner and Charli Cannon, finished further down the running order than usual.
Turner was third in Moto 1; Cannon was fifth.
But Herrick did not have the opportunity to capitalize on her debut victory. She crashed in heavy traffic on the start of Moto 2, necessitating a red flag, and was carted off the track by the medical crew with a concussion.

The relationship between Marc O'Polo and Gisele Bündchen is only growing stronger. The pair's current long-standing relationship came to fruition in the Fall 2024 campaign season, when the Swedish-German fashion brand endorsed the Brazilian supermodel as the face and embodiment of the label that was founded in 1967 by Rolf Lind, Göte Huss and Jerry O'Sheets. Fast forward a handful of campaigns later to the Fall 2026 season, and it's a repeat performance. Once again, Bündchen teams up with the photographer Lachlan Bailey and stylist Geraldine Saglio. This time around, Gisele (doing exactly what Gisele does best) retreats from the great outdoors of Miami to the comfort of a photographic studio, showcasing the collection that focuses on natural fabrics and a neutral color palette.

"Love what I see!" immediately shared BalkaniStaCouture.
"I've never been a huge Gisele fan but ****** she looks incredible!" confessed WAVES.
"She really is one of the most talented models ever," Alexrose declared.

NEW BERLIN, New York: Lachlan Turner overcame a modest start to move into the lead on the second lap of the WMX Moto 2 in the Unadilla National. Along with her win on Friday, Turner swept the motos and extended her winning streak to 10 races after going eight-for-eight in the Australian WMX series.
Charli Cannon also had to come through the pack after starting outside the top five. She passed several riders in the opening laps and once she got into second around Taylah McCutcheon for second, she managed to hold the leaders pace.
Mayla Herrick scored her first overall podium in the WMX series with finishes of fourth in Moto 1 and third in the second moto. Her highly anticipated WMX debut in High Point ended with a crash and concussion in Moto 2 after she won the first race.
Jordon Jarvis overcame a modest start in back-to-back races. On Friday, she got some help after multiple riders crashed on the tricky track. Jarvis finished third in that race, but could only manage to climb to fourth in Unadill's Moto 2. She finished fourth after losing the overall podium on the tiebreaker (best finish in Moto 2).
Mikayla Nielsen rounded out the top five in Moto 2.

Willie Cauley-Stein's latest story suggests that the Sacramento Kings held him back from potentially achieving what he could have.
During the 2015 NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings selected Willie Cauley-Stein with the No. 6 overall pick. The big man was expected to develop into a long-term solution at the five for the organisation.
However, in 2019, at the end of his rookie deal, he joined the Golden State Warriors as a free agent. The big man then bounced to a couple more teams before he was effectively out of the league by 2022.
And while Cauley-Stein never exactly panned out, things could have been different for the Kentucky alum. And his recent story isn't a great look for the Kings franchise, either.

Friday night felt like the start of something.
A point against Rangers might not sound spectacular on paper, but anyone inside Tannadice knows United deserved to come away with plenty of credit. There was intensity, energy and - most importantly - an identity.
Five league debutants and a new-look side meant plenty of question marks before kick-off. Yet as the game settled, United grew into it.
The opening goal was superb. Josh Rawlins, Jesse Randall, Zac Sapsford and Lachlan Rose, the Thunder from Down Under combination, carving Rangers open with a move that deserved to be finished and thankfully was. Not a 30-yard screamer but they all count.
Rangers responded after the break as you would expect from a side chasing the ****** le and Jack Walton showed exactly why Jim Goodwin was so keen to bring him back.

The San Francisco 49ers on Friday made a handful of roster moves to bring in tight end Josiah Deguara and wide receiver Trenton Irwin.
In a pair of corresponding moves the 49ers waived cornerback Derrick Canteen and waived recently-signed TE Tanner McLachlan with an injury designation.
Deguara is a Santa Rosa native who entered the NFL in 2020 as a third-round pick of the Green Bay Packers. He spent four seasons in Green Bay, one in Jacksonville and one in Arizona. In six NFL seasons he has 12 starts in 77 games. Deguara has 53 receptions for 473 yards and three touchdowns as a pro. He has a real chance to stick on the back end of the roster depending on how many TEs the 49ers keep.
Irwin figures to be more of a camp body than an actual candidate to make the final roster. He was part of a workout that featured three veteran wide receivers earlier in the week. Irwin last played in the NFL in 2024 when he was with the Cincinnati Bengals where he spent his entire six-year career. During his Bengals tenure he hauled in 46 passes for 601 yards and five touchdowns.
The 49ers badly need WRs who can take reps in training camp and the preseason. As a seasoned pro it wouldn't be a surprise if Irwin does enough in camp to land a spot on the 49ers' practice squad.

Zac Sapsford is loving the influx of players from down under at Tannadice.
The Australian striker joined Dundee United last summer and now has company in fellow countrymen Daniel Bennie, Lachlan Rose and Joshua Rawlins, plus New Zealander Jesse Randall.
"I am shocked at how many we are getting, it is amazing," said 23-year-old Sapsford.
"I am always happy to have more Australians here, it makes you feel a bit more at home and hearing that familiar accent is always nice.
"They are going to be good players for us this season as well so it will be amazing."

The San Francisco Giants are currently taking on the Milwaukee Brewers (at home). SF won 3-0 over the Brewers on Monday to improve to 45-61.
It hasn't been the season anyone in the Giants organization has hoped for, but over the last two months, it's a good chance to see what the future holds and what young players can bring to the table. Basically, what I mean is roster transactions don't stop, and during the Brewers series, the Giants are promoting a 25-year-old infielder in the latest transaction.

Tom Holland failed a husband test in hilarious fashion during a recent "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" interview with his wife Zendaya when he failed to remember the lyrics to her 2013 song, "Replay."
Holland, Zendaya and fellow "Spider-Man" co-star Jacob Batalon participated in an interview shared online Monday with Australian news outlet Pedestrian. During the conversation, the three were asked which one of them would be able to finish the lyrics to "one of the most iconic songs of all time," which turned out to be "Replay."
After interviewer Lachlan Guertin read out loud a few lines from the song, Holland and Batalon quickly gave up, with the former telling Guertin, "I have no idea." He also did not know Zendaya had already put it all together.
"That's my song, guys," Zendaya said, much to Holland and Batalon's embarrassment, adding, "Yeah, that's 'Replay.' So, thanks, guys. You know, you think you know someone, you know? And that's alright. It's okay."
"That was the wrong reaction," Holland admitted with his head in his hand. You can watch the full, cheeky moment yourself in the video below.

In the best case scenario for Lachlan and Kaylen Bassett, one of them will be competing in the 2028 Olympics, the other will be supporting.
That's because the Australian brothers compete in the same category in canoe slalom, and only one can be at the Olympic starting line.
Kaylen, 29, and Lachlan, 26, have been competing in canoe slalom for over a decade. They started through school, a program where they went up to Sydney from their hometown Melbourne. Since then, it's been a passion for the entire family. While their father couldn't make the trip across the pacific for the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Oklahoma City, their mom was out there as a judge.
And the Bassett's case is not the only one. Not even in Australia.
Paddle Australia also features Olympic medalist-sisters Jessica and Noemie Fox.

Following their first victory in Las Vegas Thursday, Golden State faced off against the Oklahoma City Thunder Sunday, giving Yaxel Lendeborg another chance to face a former Michigan teammate (Aday Mara) after squaring off against the Mavericks and Morez Johnson Jr.
Golden State handled the Thunder with ease, outscoring them in every quarter and cruising to a 104-79 win. Lendeborg was one of three Warriors with 14 points, tallying four ******* ists, three steals and two rebounds as well. Graham Ike was another standout from the starting lineup, posting 11 points, eight rebounds, two ******* ists and zero turnovers.
As for the bench, they were solid as usual with four double-digit scorers, including Nick Boyd (14 points, two rebounds and one steal) and Lachlan Olbrich (14 points, four rebounds, one ******* ist and three steals).
Now 2-0 to begin the summer, Golden State will have Monday off before suiting up Tuesday against recent No. 3 overall pick Cameron Boozer and the Memphis Grizzlies.

Setting a screen for Bennett Stirtz, Aday Mara rolled to the rim. The two first-round picks connected. The seven-footer capped off the textbook pick-and-roll play as he barely needed to jump off the hardwood to get an easy layup. Even with a lopsided scoreboard, those two made this a fun watch.
The Oklahoma City Thunder remain winless in the July extravaganza. They fell in a 104-79 Summer League loss to the Golden State Warriors. That said, Mara and Stirtz looked much more comfortable. That's all you can ask for at this event.
In a matchup between two former Michigan teammates, Mara one-upped Yaxel Lendeborg — who's been a Summer League darling. The former blocked the latter on a second-chance look. Even with the Thunder falling behind early, his play left you encouraged. They were in a 27-16 deficit after the first quarter.
The second frame probably saw Mara's best stretch in Summer League. He backed down Lachlan Olbrich in the post. A couple of power-dribbles later, he went up for the one-handed jam. Later on, he went at Graham Ike in the post. This time, on a turnaround jumper he was fouled on. The Thunder scored 22 points in the second quarter. They entered halftime with a 53-38 deficit.
The second half was much of the same story. The Thunder stayed behind by double-digit points. Will Richard knocked down an outside jumper to make it a 63-43 contest with seven minutes to go in the third quarter. At that point, the Thunder were in a 20-point hole just three minutes into the second half. Any intrigue from this game — in terms of the final result — was lost early on.

Dundee United may have added eight new players but manager Jim Goodwin remains busy with his squad-building plans as he seeks to add threat on the wings.
Forwards Jesse Randall, Lachlan Rose and Idjessi Metsoko are among the summer recruits for the team that finished seventh in the Premiership last season.
"We're still nowhere near finished," Goodwin said in a club media interview. "We need to add more at the top end of the pitch, particularly in the wide areas.
"Jesse Mitsoko gives us three really good options at the top end with Zac Sapsford and Lachie Rose."
Jesse Randall is yet to arrive after appearing as a substitute in all three of New Zealand's group games at the World Cup.

After two dominant wins to open up their 2026 NBA Summer League campaign, the Golden State Warriors faced the Miami Heat Monday. Having faced the San Antonio Spurs Sunday evening, the Warriors decided to rest four main contributors: Yaxel Lendeborg, LJ Cryer, Malevy Leons and Will Richard.
This opened up the door for new players to receive an opportunity, and the three Warriors who led the way were familiar faces. After a solid performance against San Antonio, which included 12 points off the bench, Deivon Smith entered the starting lineup and tallied 16 points, nine rebounds, five ****** ists and one steal. Chance McMillian also had another solid game, following up 12 points against the Spurs with 14 against Miami.
But once again, there was no stronger performer on Golden State's roster than Lachlan Olbrich, who was nothing short of dominant off the bench, scoring 21 points on a perfect 7-for-7 shooting to go along with six rebounds, one ****** ist and one steal. Olbrich has impressed in all three summer league appearances thus far, averaging 13.3 points, five rebounds and three ****** ists off the bench after finishing the 2025-26 NBA season with the Chicago Bulls. If he can keep this performance up, he may be able to earn a standard contract either with Golden State or elsewhere.
Now 2-1 to begin the summer, Golden State will return to action July 9 against the Dallas Mavericks.

Once again, the Golden State Warriors dominated during the 2026 NBA Summer League, defeating the San Antonio Spurs in blowout fashion, 98-69.
Following a 19-point game and a perfect shooting night in his debut, recent No. 11 overall pick Yaxel Lendeborg struggled a bit Sunday, tallying 11 points on 4-for-11 shooting. However, he did make his impact felt in other ways, tallying eight rebounds, two ***** ists, two blocks and one steal.
Malevy Leons, a two-way player with the Warriors, was solid as well, scoring eight points and grabbing nine rebounds. But for the second straight game, Lachlan Olbrich turned heads, leading the team in scoring with 13 points on 6-for-8 shooting to go along with four ***** ists, three rebounds and no turnovers in 15 minutes off the bench. If the Australian can continue his impressive play, he may earn a two-way contract by the end of the summer.
Lastly, Deivon Smith and Chance McMillan were bright sports off the bench too, combining for 24 points, eight rebounds, seven ***** ists and five steals.

The Golden State Warriors opened their 2026 Summer League campaign with a blowout win against the Los Angeles Lakers, defeating their Pacific Division rivals by a score of 104-72.
The game offered Warriors fans their first look at No. 11 overall pick Yaxel Lendeborg, who was dominant. The former Michigan Wolverine was a perfect 6-for-6 from the field, including 4-for-4 from 3-point range, scoring 19 points in 22 minutes. He also tallied six ****** ists, five rebounds, one steal and one block.
Will Richard impressed as well, scoring 16 points on 6-for-8 shooting, including 4-for-5 from beyond the arc, to go along with three rebounds, three ****** ists and three steals. Despite missing four free throws, Lachlan Olbrich was a bright spot off the bench, tallying a +27 plus-minus, scoring six points with five rebounds, four ****** ists, one block and zero turnovers.
Recent No. 24 overall selection Cameron Carr was the lone bright spot for the Lakers, also scoring 19 points on 7-for-15 shooting. The Warriors will suit up next against the Milwaukee Bucks Saturday.

RANCHO CORDOVA, California: Lachlan Turner led the first and last lap of Moto 1 of the Hangtown Classic at Prairie City SVRA to begin her 2024 and 2025 **** le defense with a victory, but for most of the 12 minutes plus one lap, it appeared Christi Cannon would stand on the top of the podium.
Turner earned the holeshot and pulled a gap on the field, but almost immediately after jumping across the finish line, she put her bike on the ground and handed the lead to Cannon.
"I just made it hard on myself," Turner told NBC Sports after the moto. "I got the holeshot, then led and fell over and had to work my way up. I really worked for that one, so it means a lot."
Turner regained her flow and tracked down the top three. She was in second by the completion of Lap 3, but Cannon had a solid lead.
Cannon rode flawlessly for most of the moto until a mistake on the final lap caused her to lose the backend of her bike. Turner zipped by and beat the field to the finish line by two seconds.
