Sidney Starr's family and inner circle are speaking out after a judge refused to release the reality star from jail. Starr, whose legal name is Sidney Favors, remains locked up on felony charges involving a 13-year-old boy, but those closest to her say the accusations do not match the person they know—and that she is unraveling behind bars.
"Sidney is still in good spirits and asks that the public try not to make a judgment of guilt based on this decision," her camp said in a statement following the bond hearing.
Her manager, however, offered a far grimmer account of Starr's condition. "She's not doing well at all," the manager told TSR Investigates. "She tears up. She cries on the phone just about how scared for her safety she is."

Starr's friends were equally adamant that the allegations are out of character. "We're gonna get through this," one supporter said outside the courthouse. "This is not her at all."

Rugby players, coaches and staff are now safer working at the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) after changes were made following "toxic" culture findings, according to an equality watchdog.
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) said the union had "put in the hard yards" and made improvements to the way it handled harassment and discrimination.
A BBC Wales Investigates programme in 2023 uncovered allegations of **** ism and misogyny at the WRU, prompting an independent investigation which backed up the claims.
The WRU said it had "introduced a series of proactive measures" to improve its culture.

The Seattle Seahawks on Saturday officially signed cornerback Terrion Arnold, who is facing felony charges in Florida and will be placed on the commissioner's exempt list while the case plays out.
Arnold, 23, is facing eight felony charges stemming from allegations he orchestrated the abduction and beating of three men in February. He became a free agent in June, when the Detroit Lions released him a few days after the kidnapping, armed robbery and conspiracy charges were levied.
Arnold will not be permitted to play or practice with the Seahawks as a result of being on the exempt list, but while the league investigates his case he can be paid and attend team meetings. It is not known when he might be able to play.
The Seahawks agreed to terms with Arnold two weeks ago. Coach Mike Macdonald said at the time that the team understood the ramifications of signing Arnold.
"We also understand that it's a serious situation with a legal matter. There's a process behind it, so we respect that," Macdonald said. "That's how we'll operate, just letting that process play out and let the league decide if and when his return to play is. We'll understand that that's at play, but there's also an opportunity to bring him and give him an opportunity to earn a position here."

Mariner High School (Cape Coral, Fla.) has fired four football coaches and put two others on administrative leave as it investigates events that occurred during a recent lock-in at the school.
The school sent a letter to parents on Aug. 4 stating that it relieved head coach Tyran Jones and ***** istant coach Kaycie Zorbas of their coaching duties due to a lack of supervision by the staff during the gathering. Four other ***** istant coaches who were not school district employees were fired.
While it's unclear what exactly happened during the team-building event, principal Tom Michel confirmed that no hazing took place. However, students who violated the school's expectations will be held accountable for their actions, as stated in the letter.
"While student privacy laws prevent us from disclosing specific names or consequences, please be ***** ured that no hazing took place and every individual involved is being held fully accountable," the letter read.
The news comes just one week before the Tritons kickoff the 2026-27 season. Mariner fell 3-7 last season under Jones, who spent just one season at the helm. Jones previously coached two seasons at Island Coast.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Former Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland, who died by suicide in November 2025 after a high-speed chase with police, had early stage chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a brain abnormality linked to repeated concussions, his family announced Tuesday.
The Boston University CTE Center, which investigates the long-term consequences of repetitive brain trauma in athletes and others, ****** yzed Kneeland's brain tissue after his death. Researchers determined Kneeland, who was 24, was in stage one of four of CTE.
