In an exciting final between two top teams from Brazil's youth ranks, Internacional beat Palmeiras 3-1 this Saturday (August 1) to become the champions of the first U-15 Copa do Brasil. The match was played at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis (RJ), and was attended by CBF president Samir Xaud.
Asafe, Kayki, and Gustavo Fahmer scored the goals in the win. Maicon scored for Palmeiras. At an intense pace, both teams fought for every ball with grit and determination. They also stood out for their creativity, dribbling, and plays that showed technique and great skill.
At the start of the first half, Palmeiras took control of the game and opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Maicon, after a run down the right by Gabriel Bueno, who got past his marker. It looked as though Palmeiras' second goal would not take long, such was the team's dominance.
But Inter changed the course of the match. They started moving the ball more quickly and equalized in the 26th minute with a goal by Asafe after a corner kick. Then, in the 38th minute, they completed the comeback with a fine finish from Kaique from outside the box.

The 14th round of the Brasileirão Women's A1 begins this weekend and runs through Monday (3). The voting was already underway when auditor Aline Jatahy questioned the authenticity of the material released by Inter.
Messages were already circulating on social media about the likelihood that the content was not genuine, since it came from a parody page called "O VAR Brasileiro."

Signed for R$ 60 million, Gabriel Pec made his official debut for Cruzeiro this Wednesday (22), but the match against Internacional ended in the worst possible way for the forward.
Pec suffered a fracture to the tibia in his left leg and will need surgery in the coming days.

Ferroviária, Flamengo, and Internacional defeated Corinthians, Instituto 3B, and Coritiba respectively. The three teams that advanced all won 1-0. The competition continues this Tuesday (21) with three more matchups: Fluminense vs. Cruzeiro, Itabirito vs. Bahia, and Vasco da Gama vs. São Paulo.
Ferroviária secured its spot by defeating Corinthians 1-0 at Arena Fonte Luminosa in Araraquara (SP). The Grená Warriors opened the scoring in the first half through center back Andressa. For the rest of the match, Ferrinha handled the pressure from Brabas and held on to the score until the final whistle.
Flamengo advanced to the quarterfinals by beating Instituto 3B 1-0 in a match played at Luso Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro. Fernanda found the net for the Girls of Gávea in the 22nd minute. During the first half, the Rubro-Negro controlled the match, but it was the team from Amazonas that stood out in the second half. Despite their efforts, Instituto 3B was unable to convert its chances.

Playing away from home at Couto Pereira in Curitiba (PR), Internacional also beat ******* a 1-0. In the first half, the Colorado Girls controlled the match, while Coritiba defended and looked to use counterattacks. At the end of the first half, Sole Jaimes found the net for Colorado. The second half was more scrappy and brought no change to the scoreline.

All the other matches that day will kick off at 3 p.m. The round comes to an end on Wednesday (15) with the match between Vasco da Gama and Corinthians.
The competition is marked by a great deal of balance in the standings. The 20 participating teams are trying to stay in the G-8, the qualification zone for the second phase. At the moment, Palmeiras, Fluminense, Fortaleza, Corinthians, Cruzeiro, América-MG, Athletico-PR, and Bahia occupy the top eight spots.
