According to SPORT, FC Barcelona have officially been notified of the complaint filed by Atletico Madrid over the club's pursuit of Julian Alvarez.
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has opened disciplinary proceedings into the matter and given the Catalan club a deadline to submit their response.
The complaint centres on allegations that the Blaugrana held discussions with the Argentine striker while he remains under contract at Atlético until 2030.
The notification from the RFEF informs Barcelona that a formal case has been opened and grants the club several days to present its arguments.
Barcelona's legal team is already reviewing Atletico's complaint and intends to submit a full response defending the club's actions.

He'd be useful for the lists, though, given his young age. Juan Jesus' return has also been pondered. He's still without a team after his contract ran out.
If they are concerned about Beukema's availability, they'll need a lot more than another injury-prone center-back to be serene for the entire season. It's time for them to seriously contemplate a splash at the position, without worrying about a potential future logjam.

However, a new report has emerged that indicates that perhaps Real Madrid are now interested in signing arguably Manchester City’s most important player. Whatever occurs with Rodri’s future this summer, Manchester City do need a speedy resolution to the situation before it drags on for far too long.
Fabrizio Romano reported that Rodri does indeed want a move to Real Madrid at some point. However, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez had no interest in bringing Rodri to the club. However, that situation may have changed. Matteo Moretto has reported that Florentino Perez is becoming open to the possibility of signing Rodri. Furthermore, it is also reported that personal terms between Rodri and Real Madrid are considered to be a formality. Lastly, it is also reported that at this stage, negotiations between Real Madrid and Manchester City over a deal that will see Rodri sign for the 15-time UEFA Champions League winners have yet to commence.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after a Boeing 777 cargo aircraft flew dangerously low, with one of its wings just within feet of hitting the ground at a private airport in Texas on Wednesday, officials said.
The plane, which had recently been converted from a passenger plane to a freighter aircraft by a private company, was on a test flight when the pilots performed a low pass at Horseshoe Bay Resort Airport, according to the FAA.

Wahi started during Ivory Coast's 1-0 win over Ecuador on Sunday in Philadelphia. The Ivorians will take on Germany in their second Group E match Saturday in Toronto.
"In this particularly delicate period, the FIF extends all its support to the player and reaffirms its confidence in him," the federation said. "Elye Wahi remains an important element of the Ivory Coast national team.
"The federation also informs that the player will not be able to join the delegation's trip to Canada. Indeed, the necessary administrative authorizations for his entry into Canadian territory could not be obtained at this stage. Elye Wahi will therefore remain in the United States pending the team's return. The Ivorian Football Federation will continue to follow the situation closely and will communicate any useful official information."
