MILWAUKEE (AP) — CBS NFL ****** yst and former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo had an open container of alcohol in his vehicle when he was stopped by police last week and later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, authorities said.
According to one of three citations released by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, the "open bottle of an alcoholic beverage" was discovered in the passenger's side of Romo's black Jeep during an inventory before it was towed.
Another citation said police stopped Romo on Interstate 43 on July 23 after he was seen passing cars in a gore area, which separates interstate traffic from cars entering from an on-ramp. Police said Romo questioned what a gore area was during the stop.
Romo performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody, booked and released. Court records show Romo was later cited for refusing "to take test for intoxication after arrest." He has a court appearance scheduled for Sept. 21.

"Roughly 40% of the Index outperforming the average and 60% underperforming is not so unusual, but two-thirds of that lagging group underperforming by more than 10 percentage points seems like a lot. Even this level of dispersion might make sense if most of the earnings growth in the Index was concentrated in the 200 stocks that were up double digits. This is not the case. We own Index constituents such as The Charles Schwab Corporation (NYSE:SCHW), JP Morgan, Mastercard and Progressive Corp. that continue to grow their earnings per share at healthy rates and in some cases at higher rates than usual, but whose stock prices are lagging.
Schwab, for example, earned $4.87 per share in 2025 and the consensus of Wall Street ****** ysts calls for earnings per share, or EPS, of $7.62 in 2027. That would represent a two year growth rate of 56%, or 25% per year. As of June 30th, the shares were down 8% for the year and trading at $92.27, or 12 times the 2027 EPS estimate. Actress Angelina Jolie's lingering ties to ex-husband Brad Pitt have officially been severed after their youngest children, twins Vivienne and Knox, turned 18—bringing the former couple's custody agreement to an end.
It marks a significant milestone not just for the teenagers, but for their mother, too. Jolie has made no secret of her desire to leave the U.S., something that she said she was unable to do while she was still bound by the custody conditions set in place in the wake of her divorce from Pitt.
"I grew up in this town. I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as [the twins] are 18, I'll be able to leave," she told The Hollywood Reporter about her reasons for remaining in Los Angeles.
Jolie, 51, went on to reveal her desire to spend more time abroad, particularly in Cambodia, where her eldest son, Maddox, is from, and where she has owned a home for years.
"When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety. I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be ... that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here. [After Los Angeles] I'll spend a lot of time in Cambodia. I'll spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world."
