After 43 years together, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn remain one of Hollywood's most enduring couples – although their romance certainly didn't get off to a conventional start.
Kurt, 75, reflected on their decades-long relationship earlier this year, telling AARP that being with Goldie, 80, still "doesn't feel like a long time".
"She's just a blast," he said of his longtime partner, adding that he feels "incredibly lucky" for the life they have shared together.
Goldie and Kurt have been together for four decades (@ WireImage)
But long before the children, grandchildren and more than four decades of shared history, there was a first date involving the Playboy Club, a break-in – and the police.

Are you roughly a decade away from retirement with little to no savings to fund it? You're far from alone. Nearly 1 in 5 Americans over the age of 50 had no retirement savings, according to a 2024 study by the AARP (1).
The good news is that even at this age, it's not too late to salvage your golden years. Here's a shockingly simple three-step plan, with no aggressive ****** umptions or complicated tax strategies involved, to help you retire by age 58.

While everyone loves a reboot, there's one character John Goodman hopes to never return to.
Ahead of the 2018 premiere of the Roseanne spinoff The Conners, the actor acknowledged that, yes, he had shed half of the weight from his formerly 400-pound frame, but he saw no point in talking it up.
"It was basically just portion control, and 'I don't need it,'" The Righteous Gemstones star explained to AARP The Magazine in 2018 of cutting down on his food consumption. "I was just shoving everything into my mouth. But I don't want to be an example to anybody when the weight comes thundering back on—when I start eating Crisco out of the can with a spoon and a side of confectioner's sugar."
Of course, nearly a decade later, he still remains righteous, most recently showing off his decidedly slimmer frame on social media.

For the past decade, Brian and Rose Armstrong have been full-time caregivers for their grandson, now 11.
The financial toll on their retirement savings is a grim reality for the 66-year-old Mount Laurel, N.J., residents, who retired two years ago.
Folks like the Armstrongs, who are caregiving for an aging parent, spouse, or other family member, face greater financial strain, lower retirement confidence, and more worry about the future — and millions of people are in that boat.
A staggering 63 million Americans — nearly 1 in 4 adults — provide unpaid care to an adult with health or functional needs or to a child with a serious medical condition or disability, according to AARP. That's up from 53 million in 2020.
People often have little choice, but there are financial repercussions for retirement — especially one that can span three decades or more.

WORCESTER — With Boston Red Sox brass and fans in wait-and-see mode around Monday's 6 p.m. MLB trade deadline, the Triple-A Worcester Red Sox will welcome Lehigh Valley nearly 24 hours later to kick off a six-game homestand at Polar Park.
As all eyes and ears fixate on rumors swirling around the Red Sox, and what Boston chief baseball officer Craig Breslow is (or isn't) doing heading into the trade deadline, the WooSox cruised to their fifth-straight win on Sunday in Norfolk, Va.
While no big moves were made (as of Monday morning) involving anyone from AAA Worcester, the Red Sox' recent resurgence in the standings flipped the franchise from pretenders to contenders at the deadline — which makes what's happening with the WooSox a little more pressing at the moment.
So, while we wait for any more news to break with Boston (and possibly Worcester), here's a look at the upcoming WooSox homestand and promotional schedule, which includes a Ceddanne Rafaela Bobblehead giveaway:
Tuesday (6:45 p.m.): Taco & Tequila Tuesday, presented by Teremana; Tail Waggin' Tuesday (fans can bring their dogs); AARP Ticket Tuesday; Wepa Night, presented by Modelo and La Mega 106.1 celebrating Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.

Danny DeVito recently opened up about how he and estranged wife Rhea Perlman have found a way to make their relationship work despite living apart for nearly a decade.
"We're always over at her house. We see the grandchildren together, that kind of stuff. So that's a good relationship," the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star, 81, told AARP in an interview published on Wednesday, July 29.
DeVito and Perlman, now 78, first met in 1971. He was acting in an off-Broadway play at the time and she saw the show with a friend. The two quickly hit it off.
"We liked off-Broadway stuff. We went to movies all the time. We made little movies together — short films," he told the publication. "We had a lot in common, and we fell in love. A nice Jewish girl from Brooklyn and an Italian from New Jersey: I cooked, and she ate."
The Cheers alum and DeVito dated for more than 10 years before officially tying the knot in 1982. During their time together, they welcomed three children – Lucy, 43, Gracie, 41, and Jake, 38.

Rob Lowe joked about wanting grandkids but admitted he's not ready to embrace being called "grandpa"
Lowe is crowdsourcing ideas for a unique grandparent name, inspired by his grandmother's sweet nickname, Mim
He acknowledged feeling old at the idea of being a grandfather and joked about being on AARP's cover twice
Rob Lowe is trying to make "hot grandpa" happen — but he's not quite sure it'll catch on.
The Parks and Recreation alum, 62, appeared on a Wednesday, June 24 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show and was asked if he's angling for grandkids after his son Matthew got engaged last July. In addition to Matthew, Lowe is dad to son John, both of whom he shares with wife Sheryl Berkoff.

First, you’re not alone. A 2024 survey by the AARP (1) found that roughly 20% of U.S. adults over 50 had no retirement savings whatsoever. While some of these individuals will accumulate some savings by the time they turn 60, it’s fair to ***** ume millions of people will enter their golden years with no meaningful nest egg.
The ultra-rich use these 5 real estate strategies to build wealth while they sleep — you can start with just $100
