General Hospital alum Chris McKenna just revealed he needs emergency jaw surgery this week.
The former Jack recently shared a health update on X, posting an X-ray of his jaw and writing, "I had a broken crown fixed last month and they discovered a spot on my x-ray."
He continued, explaining what this means for his mouth: "Turns out I need emergency surgery in the morning to remove a cyst that has eaten away at my jawbone and have a bone graft. Good thing I broke that tooth! This is gonna hurt but lucky we caught it."
While this certainly isn't something McKenna wanted to hear, the former soap star is making the best of the scary situation. Shortly after his announcement, he posted, "The good news is I'm gonna be on pain meds for weeks and my tweets might be hilarious."

Italian beauty Monica Bellucci proved that age was just a number in a new photoshoot that showcased her modeling prowess as well as her ageless visage.
The 62-year-old looked beautiful in a series of photos taken for Harper's Bazaar España, which included a shot of her in a figure-hugging red gown, a picture of her sitting on a chair with her long legs on full display, and a snap of her in a backless black gown with a daring thigh slit.
Monica got candid about aging in the spotlight in the accompanying interview, revealing that she was not afraid of growing older, but rather viewed it as "a wonderful gift".
"There's no real alternative: either you grow old and accept the process with dignity, or you die. Looking at it that way, I'd much rather grow old," she explained.

The 2026 LVMH Prize took place at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris this week, where Belgian designer Julie Kegels was named the winner, receiving €400,000 and a year of mentorship from LVMH experts. Jennifer Lawrence presented Kegels with the award, while Priyanka Chopra was also among the guests.
Both wore Dior, but their looks could not have been more different.
François Goizé
While we do tend to struggle with some of Jennifer Lawrence's choices in Jonathan Anderson's Dior, with the Die My Love Rome Film Festival premiere serving as an example, this suit is endlessly chic.
Some might feel it is very Monica Bellucci-coded, but I would not regard that as a bad thing. Between the sculpted jacket and wide-leg trousers, this is the epitome of a Dior woman, and Jennifer wears it effortlessly.

Susan Lucci is certainly a gorgeous woman, and a legend in daytime soap as Erica Kane in "All My Children." With over 40 years in TV, it comes as no surprise that Lucci has also developed her own personal sense of style. This was demonstrated when she selected a super-colorful gown to wear to her son's wedding for a mother-of-the-groom look that serves as the perfect inspo for older women. Lucci has long since shown her unique, eclectic fashion sense on the red carpet, proving that age is no barrier to having fun with fashion.
Unlike other Hollywood celebs today, Lucci doesn't seem to favor donning one-tone, neutral color palettes. Her wardrobe is filled with bright, vivid colors, patterns, and materials, and she's said before that she's prioritizing feeling and looking amazing, no matter what anyone thinks. "Keep on looking your best and feeling your best," Lucci exclusively shared with Today, per AARP. As such, here are some of Susan Lucci's best red carpet looks that demonstrate just how daring she is.

2026 is looking to be a momentous year for Susan Lucci as she heralded her return to the big screen with the movie, "Outcome." She attended the premiere for the film in an eye-catching Oscar de la Renta dress, a strapless number in a beautiful pale blue with purple, floral motifs adorning the bodice and skirt. Although she left her neck bare, Lucci chose a pair of diamond tassel earrings that she showed off to full effect by putting her hair up in an elegant updo. Truly, she rocked this dress.

Braden Layer and Kurt ******* eloch of the Allegheny football team were in attendance for the Presidents' Athletic Conference's media day on Tuesday. Below are quotes previewing the upcoming season for the Gators
Head coach Braden Layer on the end of 2025 building momentum for 2026
"Two wins over the last three weeks (of last season) doesn't roll over into our record in 2026. I think it helped us kickstart our offseason workouts. It built momentum leading into spring ball, but ultimately, I'm sitting here with a lot of other head coaches that believe there is a lot in front of us. There's a lot of reasons to be optimistic about the season. But until we run out there and play Anderson University in the first week in September, it's on us as a staff and us as players to come together. (Last year) only matters a little bit in the grand scheme of things come August."
Layer on returning eight defensive starters
"… That level of continuity really matters, at least in my opinion, especially in small college athletics. I think our front seven has a chance to be very formidable. … Drew Evans for the first time in his career got to focus just on football. … Huriel Calice has been a mainstay for us on the defensive line. He's shifting out primarily just to an edge player. … Obviously, you have Michael (Schanck) on the interior. You have (Matthew) Phillips, you have (Joshua) Guenther – you have a whole lot of guys that have accumulated a ton of snaps. And I think we're fortunate to bring in some potential impact players that are new to the program as well. … At the second level, Coltin (Colucci) does everything for us defensively. We were able to convince him to come back for a fifth year. He's kind of been the heartbeat of our team now for a while. … But it's not just him. You know you have Javi Edwards coming back, you have CJ Gissentaner coming back. I thought one of the best freshmen in the conference last year was Ryan Croston, who was our nickel. One of the best blitzers and pass rushers for us in our blitz package last year returns only a year bigger and better."

Marco Palestra's agent hit back angrily at Inter President Beppe Marotta and reveals when Chelsea got involved. 'Over 45 days, Inter never reached an agreement with Atalanta.'
The Italy international had been on the verge of joining Inter last month in a deal believed to be worth €40m plus €5m add-ons.
However, before they could shake hands, Chelsea dived in with a proposal worth a good €10m more to Atalanta, and with double the salary on offer at San Siro.

Inter President Marotta bitterly criticised Palestra today during a press conference and mentioned agent Alessandro Lucci too.

Manchester United are about to announce their first summer signing after Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos put pen to paper on his contract at Old Trafford, Fabrizio Romano reveals.
The Red Devils hold a long-standing interest in Santos, dating back to last summer when attempts were made to include him in negotiations over Alejandro Garnacho's switch to Stamford Bridge.
At that point, Chelsea were adamant that the 22-year-old was not for sale and plans were shelved, with Garnacho eventually being sold for £40 million.
However, United maintained contact with his agent, Giuliano Bertolucci, in case the opportunity to reignite a move presented itself.
Two meetings were held with Bertolucci earlier this year, in February and March, to gauge the viability of a deal this summer, sensing it was possible as the Brazil international had grown frustrated with his lack of game time in West London.

It’s been almost four full years that I’ve been an Over The Monster staff writer, and true story: I’ve never written a pre-game thread. That is, until Bryan Joiner called to the bullpen late, and I “accepted the trade for a player to be named later” or “cash considerations.” Two different metaphors, I know. But, starting one metaphor after another may be something of a symbolic gesture with these Red Sox. But, to quote some Bostonians, “I never had to knock on wood, but I know someone who has.” That’s to say, this team isn’t good. I don’t subscribe to the “we’re four and a half games out of the wild card spot” or the success of this weekend being any sort of start to a rally catapulting this team into contending conversations. But I wouldn’t blame anyone who gets a bit hopeful after watching the last four games. Unless this series goes well.
Fortunately, they’ll have a guy who’s found his stride on the mound. Ranger Suarez (3-3, 2.83) . He has not had a decision win at home yet this season. He took a no-hit bid into the seventh in Seattle, and had a little more turbulent outing in hitter-friendly Colorado but still emerged from six innings having given up just three runs, and only one of those earned (sadly, the Sox would implode that game). His ERA in 4 starts (24.0 IP) in June is 1.50.
As Mike Carlucci diplomatically put it in this series’ preview article, the Nationals also suck are having their own challenges keeping things balanced this year, having inverse problems that the Red Sox face. Their offense is awesome, the biggest of those worries being Luis Garcia, the reigning NL Player of the week who’s hit six home runs in as many games, including two just yesterday in Baltimore. They rank at the very top of the league in runs scored and are tied for fourth in home runs, which would usually find you at the top of many standings, unless your pitching is horrible having some trouble keeping runs off the board, to the tune of being the third-worst in baseball. Miles Nikolas (2-6, 5.24 ERA) is tonight’s starter for Washington. At one time he was a very serviceable pitcher. At 37, those days may be behind him, as he’s experienced some stark declines in the ability to strike guys out as well as to generate swings and misses in general, ranking in the lowest three percentile via Baseball Savant this season.
See you back here after.
