On September 16, Evolution Petroleum Corporation (NYSEAMERICAN:EPM) held its fiscal fourth-quarter and full-year 2026 earnings call, and the numbers told a story of a company climbing out of a rough patch. Revenue jumped 20% sequentially to $24.2 million as oil prices realized before hedge settlements shot up 49% year over year to $90.74 a barrel. Adjusted EBITDA more than doubled to $6.5 million. After a bruising third quarter, the fourth quarter finally looked like the recovery management had promised investors back in May.
The fourth-quarter turnaround wasn't just about crude. NGL prices realized $32.49 a barrel, up 27% year over year, and because Evolution leaves its NGL production entirely unhedged, every dollar of that gain flowed straight through. That combination of higher liquids pricing, growing production, and the roll-off of a prior-period transportation adjustment at the Delhi Field pushed operating cash flow to $6.8 million in the quarter, nearly double the $3.5 million generated in the third quarter.
Behind the quarterly numbers sits a longer-term shift in how Evolution makes money. The company closed a roughly $16 million acquisition of mineral and royalty acreage in the Permian's Midland Basin after the fiscal year ended, adding about 3,420 net royalty acres and more than 200 barrels of oil equivalent per day of current production, all without Evolution spending a dime on development. That mirrors what's already happening in the SCOOP/STACK play, where fourth-quarter production climbed 14% year over year to 1,275 BOE per day while unit operating costs fell to $10.33 a barrel. Evolution also replaced more than 100% of the 2.6 million barrels of oil equivalent it produced during the year, ending fiscal 2026 with 27.2 million barrels of proved reserves, an outcome that matters directly to a dividend now in its 52nd consecutive quarter.
Not every part of the business bounced back. Average daily production fell 4% year over year to 6,901 barrels of oil equivalent per day, largely because the flush production from new Chaveroo wells that boosted last year's fourth quarter has since tapered off. Natural gas pricing remained the softest spot in the portfolio, especially at the Jonah Field, where CEO Kelly Loyd said "regional differentials have weighed on realizations" even as broader demand for gas keeps growing. CFO Ryan Stash noted that stronger oil and NGL results helped offset "continued weakness in natural gas realizations, particularly at Jonah."

While it's extremely difficult to predict a stock market pullback, there are certainly harbingers that the market could be in for a rough ride over the coming month. The September-October period ahead of U.S. mid-term elections is historically a volatile one. In fact, Cantor Fitzgerald notes that the S&P 500 index has fallen by 5% or more during these two months in 15 of the past 24 midterm election cycles.
At the same time, two major market valuation indicators point to stocks being at extremely frothy valuations. The S&P 500 Shiller CAPE (cyclically adjusted price-to-earnings) ratio is at over 40 times for the first time since before the dot.com market crash. The so-called Buffett indicator (U.S. stock market value divided by gross domestic product), named after Warren Buffett, is over 230%, well above the 120% where the market is considered overvalued. Throw in a war and a stressed consumer, and the ingredients for a market pullback are there.

There is no guarantee of a big market dip, and even if there were one, I wouldn't panic. Instead, I'd view it as a strong buying opportunity. AI has changed the equation, leading to big productivity gains that are just beginning, and stocks are generally cheap on a forward basis. The market today is very different than in the past. The S&P 500 is no longer led by cyclical and financial companies. Instead, it's dominated by large tech companies with strong balance sheets that produce enormous operating cash flow.
Let's look at five exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to scoop up if the market dips in the coming month.

As markets anxiously await the outcome of the current FOMC meeting, Treasury yields notched new 19-year highs in trading Tuesday. The closely watched 10-year surpassed 5.0% Tuesday morning in a high not seen since July 2007. Even the 30-year Treasury yield rose sharply, hitting 5.4%, its highest since June 2007.
In addition to worries over persistent, rising core inflation (one of the Fed's preferred inflation measurements), skyrocketing oil prices and shortages create further pressure on Treasuries. Currently, the rolling one-month correlation between the 10-year Treasury yield and front-month WTI (West Texas Intermediate) crude sits at 0.96 per BMO Capital Markets ****** ysis.
Bond yields and oil prices have moved in tandem for much of this year as investors position for the longer-term inflationary impact of higher oil prices. And with major oil execs sounding the alarm on global supply cache shortages and strategic reserves depletion that help to temporarily soften spiking oil prices for consumers, these pricing pressures are likely to continue in the near-term. Saudi Arabia announced the closure of its East-West pipeline that bypassed the Strait of Hormuz after it came under attack late last week, and cancelled some shipments to Europe, reported Reuters.
"Normally, the relationship isn't as clean as it is now, but the geopolitical drivers behind the price of oil and global inflation are so prominent that the normally modest correlation has become much tighter," Steve Sosnick, Chief Strategist, Interactive Brokers told CNBC. "As long as oil prices remain firm and continue to drift higher, this will add pressure to interest rates."
As macro uncertainty continues and inflation persists, bonds and oil/energy will be categories to keep a weather eye towards and could see renewed ETF investor attention. Currently, investors are seizing the opportunity in longer-term bonds, with $9.7 billion flowing into the iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT) in the last three months though the fund is only up $3.4 billion net YTD according to FactSet data. It will be a category likely to see action in the wake of the FOMC rate decision. As bond yields climb, prices fall as they move inverse to each other, and should yields climb higher, investors may choose to scoop up longer duration bonds at depreciated prices for future gains. However, an exodus is more likely until the path of rate hikes becomes more certain.

There is only one way to describe Greg Rousseau's effort for the Buffalo Bills against the Houston Texans in Week 1: Game changer.
The Bills (1-0) took a 36-31 win on the road in their season opener in Houston.
The Texans' offense soon won't forget Rousseau any time soon.
Rousseau dominated the game. Despite Buffalo's shortcoming on defense by allowing 31 points, Rousseau consistently stood out.
Rousseau had four tackles, including two for loss, five quarterback hits, with two strip sacks including the game-winning takedown of Texans quarterback CJ Stroud. Rousseau knocked the ball out of Stroud's hand and it was scooped up by linebacker Terrel Bernard with only seconds left on the clock.

A TikTok posted by phlynnmartin recounts a date from back in August 2024 at Melbourne frozen yogurt chain Yo Chi that the creator, who goes by Phlin or Flynn, said ended with an unexpectedly large bill. The video, captioned "honestly couldn't believe it," had drawn 277,600 likes and 11,000 comments as of publication.
Phlin's date started well, with no awkward tension in the car on the way over, and he called it "loving it," saying the chemistry was there. At Yo Chi, he grabbed what he called the normal-size cup, explaining, "That's all you need. Anything else? Outrageous."
The middle cup, he said, would suggest someone was "really hungry," while the largest cup was simply "a gluttonous amount of frozen yogurt." His date grabbed the larger cup, which immediately made him worry about the bill, and he told viewers, "That could be an issue because realistically I'm probably gonna have to pay for this."
He rationed his own toppings carefully, adding items like strawberries and boba "one at a time," describing it as "the little shimmy" scoop, while his date added toppings more freely, scooping crumble, M&Ms, and an Oreo without hesitation. He said the final bill came to approximately $330, a figure he paid after being asked if the two were together.
He described his date as wolfing down her yogurt while he ate slowly and, in his words, began "dissociating" as other diners started to notice.

Liam Brady signed the Dublin born winger from Bangor, having been impressed with his terrific form with the Northern Irish side. Form that saw him scoop each of the club's four player of the year awards in a season they won the domestic cup, with Paul himself scoring in the final.
Paul had started his professional career in England with Oxford United, but his time at the U's was by all accounts a disaster, so he decided to up-sticks, and head back nearer to home in a bid to reinvent himself.
It worked, as he was soon a Celtic player, the stuff of dreams for any Dublin youngster, especially with Irish legend Brady in charge of the Hoops, and despite the club being in turmoil on and off the park, it was great honour and opportunity for the 20 year old Byrne.

Tennessee football fell behind in the first quarter of its game at Georgia Tech on Sept. 12 when a punt was blocked and returned for a touchdown at Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta.
On fourth-and-11 from the Vols' 24-yard line, fifth-year punter Jackson Ross hesitated before stepping into his punt. Georgia Tech's Trae Stevenson Jr. took advantage of the extra moment and rushed Ross, blocking his kick.

No. 4 Notre Dame rolled over the Rice Owls, 52-0, in the season's home opener for the Fighting Irish.
Notre Dame avoids the trap of falling to a heavy underdog early in the season, as it has in previous years. Instead, the coaches had the chance to get depth players game action, and the Irish should be well set up as the schedule gets harder going forward.
With a win like that, there are plenty of stars -- we have our top five stars below.
Notre Dame took the ball away four times as Rice struggled to hold on to the ball. Some fumbles were forced, some were not, but Notre Dame defenders hopped on four of them, including a Boubacar Traore scoop and score early.
Quarterback CJ Carr's favorite target took over the game early with two touchdowns. He had just four catches for 54 yards, but he was far more productive than the numbers indicate.

On a night when Peoria Centennial lost its tailback to an injury and its star offensive player having an off game, the defense made plays all over the field.
Peoria Centennial coach Andrew Taylor wondered if the seven takeaways, four by safety Nate Olmos, was a single-game school record in its 27-3 6A football victory against visiting Mesa Mountain View on Friday, Sept. 11.
It was impressive, especially Olmos, who kept finding himself in the right spot.
A strip sack fumble on quarterback Brayden Merwin led to Olmos scooping up the ball and running 21 yards into the end zone to give fifth-ranked Centennial (3-0) a 27-3 lead with 4:43 left in the third quarter.

Reality TV superstar and fashion mogul Kylie Jenner has finally found a buyer for her longtime California mansion, offloading the home for $15.3 million.
Kylie, 29, who is currently in a very high-profile relationship with Timothee Chalamet, purchased the sprawling 13,200-square-foot Hidden Hills dwelling for $12.05 million in late 2016, when she was just 19. It initially served as the on-screen star's primary residence for many years.
However, Kylie—who is the youngest sister of Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner—was ready for a change, having also listed her enormous concrete abode in the Holmby Hills for the even higher price of $48 million in December.
After listing the home for $20.25 million—nearly 10 years after she scooped up the enormous abode for almost half that price—Jenner sold the dwelling for $15.3 million, Realtor.com® can exclusively reveal.
Jenner carried out extensive renovations to her Hidden Hills starter home, which is now "designed for both everyday living and grand-scale entertaining," according to the listing, which was held by fellow reality TV star Josh Altman, of Douglas Elliman.

Every possession between Southside and Westgate football swung the momentum of the game as two 337 heavyweights went toe-to-toe for some Thursday Night Lights.
Each score took the form of a body blow, a right hook or a left jab. In the end, Westgate's sophomore linebacker Ernest "Bam" Curl delivered the knockout blow scooping up a Sharks fumble and taking it all the way to the house, capping off Westgate's 42-33 victory over Class 5A Southside on Thursday, Sept. 10 in Youngsville.
"It just so satisfying that our kid Ernest Curl, who went through a lot with some confidence issues and just trying to figure out his role on the team, for him to get that ball in his hands to help win that game, I'm so proud of him," Westgate football coach Ryan Antoine said.
With Curl's scoop and score sucking the life out of the Reef and Southside's sideline, Westgate not only handed the Sharks their second loss of the season but also further proved that the Tigers are one of the hottest teams to watch from the area in 2026.
From the first quarter, fans knew this game was going to come down to the wire. The two teams went back and forth with Southside making a living on the ground game while Westgate's flashy pass game carried it.

SEYMOUR - An inadvertent whistle by a game official with under two minutes played in the game sealed an incredibly unusual 6-0 victory for the Ansonia football team over Seymour Thursday night at DeBarber Field.
With Ansonia clinging to its marginal lead, Chargers running back Jacob Branch took a handoff, got stood up from a Seymour defender and then continued to churn away, getting stripped of the ball in the process.
The Seymour players began celebrating as Ronan Carboni scooped up the loose ball at the Ansonia 19-yard line. Then a little bit of confusion and chaos ensued.
The game officials huddled on the field and after significant discussion determined that the whistle had been blown when Branch was first stood up, because the official near the Ansonia sideline felt his forward progress had been halted.
The Chargers maintained possession of the ball, and ultimately ran out the clock to seal the victory.

At this point in the season, the San Francisco Giants languishing near the bottom of the NL West and less than three weeks remaining during the season, Logan Webb could have opted to skip a start after some checkered outings.
He's consistently at or near the lead for MLB innings pitched, so a slightly early end to the season wouldn't be amiss for the team's workhorse. Instead, Webb came out with honed mechanics Monday and snapped back into his usual form in a game the Giants won 5-4 in 11 innings, with Shay Whitcomb's little bouncer to short sending in placed runner Nate Furman from third.
The ninth unraveled enough to cost Webb a win, though, with the Cardinals reaching on two infield singles to kick things off against Dylan Smith, working in his second inning. St. Louis then took the lead in the 10th when Leo Bernal's bloop to right off Jason Foley scored placed runner Alex Burleson.
But Bryce Eldridge was a busy man Monday night, and tied the game with a single in the bottom of the 10th inning. Foley held the Cardinals scoreless in the 11th with an ******* ist to Eldridge for a great scoop to end the game.
Webb gave up just three hits one run, on Burleson's two-out homer in the sixth, in what became Webb's final inning. His eight strikeouts matched his season high, and he got 19 swinging strikes, six of them with his sweeper. His pace was brisk working with veteran backup catcher Andrew Knizner. He's also more than comfortable at his longtime home; he has a 3.26 ERA at Oracle Park this season, against 5.29 on the road.

Texas football had its first scoop-and-score of the season.
With just over 6 minutes left in the second quarter, Texas State running back Taji Atkins took a carry up the middle. But Rasheem Biles punched the ball out of Atkins hands and Graceson Littleton scooped up the ball to the house for a 59-yard touchdown to push the score to it 28-0 Texas.
On the next drive, the Bobcats avoided the shutout with a touchdown drive against the Longhorns to make it 28-7 with about 4 minutes left until halftime.
Arch Manning then led the Longhorns on a long drive to give UT a chance to extend its lead, but an interception in the end zone kept the deficit at 21 points.

Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »
Cybersecurity is becoming increasingly important for enterprises and other large organization seeking to secure data due to the threat posed by automated AI bots. Hackers using AI are becoming increasingly capable, meaning enterprises need to stay extra secure with their digital data.
This is where Palo Alto Networks steps in. It is one of the leading cybersecurity firms, providing solutions including automated firewalls, cloud security, threat detection, and threat intelligence. Last quarter, annual recurring revenue (ARR) for its next-generation solutions reached $9.1 billion, up 63% year-over-year, driven by contracts to protect from AI. Sept. 3 (UPI) -- An investigation by The Athletic determined that former reporter Dianna Russini violated newsroom standards through her relationship with New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel, the outlet said Thursday.
The Athletic published the findings of the nearly five-month investigation under the headline: "Standards review of Dianna Russini's coverage for The Athletic."
Russini resigned from The New York Times Co.-owned outlet and was released from her contract April 14. The former senior insider for the NFL had taken the job role in August 2023.
The investigation, conducted by The Athletic's editorial director for standards and editorial quality Mike Semel, included a review of 903 stories and 77 videos published on the outlet's website.
It also included an examination of 204 episodes of the Scoop City podcast, which Russini co-hosted, and additional off-platform appearances she made while representing The Athletic.

Outhomering the Dodgers five to zip, the Cardinals had no trouble controlling this game right from the jump in a 13-8 blowout win. For the first time since joining the Dodgers, Eric Lauer delivered a bad enough start at home that helps illustrate why he was available in the first place, ready to be scooped up by one of baseball's strongest teams. Lauer ran into all kinds of issues, first crushed by the long ball and then dealing with a massive rally courtesy of nothing but singles, walks, and an HBP.
The bottom of the Cardinals' order first gave Lauer problems, with Ramón Urías and Thomas Saggese demolishing fastballs in the middle to upper part of the zone to leave the yard in back-to-back at-bats in the second. Saggese, in particular, was on an inspired night, later also crushing his second homer in the game to triple his total (1) before the start of play. Equally not known for his pop, Urías hit what was only his fourth long ball this season.
Still, both of those were solo shots, and only trailing 2-0, Lauer had a path to find himself once again, but in the third inning, it all quickly unraveled for the veteran southpaw. Six of the inning's first seven hitters reached safely; a little later, Nathan Church drove in the Cards' seventh run on an infield single—the runner from first was thrown out trying to go to third on the play, ending the inning with the score 7-0.
A seven-run deficit is a daunting challenge to overcome, but with six innings still to go, the Dodgers had nothing but time, and for a brief moment it looked like they'd get back into it. Back-to-back walks by Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman loaded the bases with two outs in front of Mookie Betts. And probably with more luck than skill, Betts cleared the bags on a fly ball to right that likely should've been caught but was aberrantly misplayed by the Cardinals' defense. The scoring in that inning stopped there, and as much as the end product was promising, you couldn't help but feel a bit frustrated at the lack of thump—by the end of three frames, the Dodgers had three runs and just two hits.
Understanding full well who they were going up against, the Cardinals made it so that the Dodgers weren't able to gain much momentum by scoring two of their own in the following frame to make it 10-3. Looking to get in on the fun alongside the bottom of the order, Jordan Walker took Alex Vesia deep in the fourth for a two-run shot, as Lauer got the hook after three dreadful innings of work.

Big league rosters have officially expanded now that we've reached the month of August. The Cincinnati Reds responded in kind by promoting both Brandon Williamson and Juan Brito earlier on Tuesday, the latter providing depth across the infield as the Reds face something of a short-term crisis there.
Ke'Bryan Hayes resides on the 10-day IL at the moment. Superstar shortstop Elly De La Cruz has a quad strain, and given how much his leg problems sapped his overall production last season the Reds are going to keep him at DH for the foreseeable future until he's absolutely 100%. That means Matt McLain has moved from 2B over to SS, and to compound things Eugenio Suarez has been absent from team activities the last few days as he works towards gaining US citizenship.
So, the Reds need some infield depth. Edwin Arroyo was recalled to help bridge that gap, and Brito will, too, but that only serves to thin the mix at AAA behind them. Cincinnati responded to that cascade of infield inputs on Tuesday evening by signing veteran infielder Orlando Arcia to a minor league deal.
Arcia, 32, began the 2026 season with in the Minnesota Twins organization and hit .271/.300/.354 with them across 50 PA before being released in late July. He posted an .834 OPS with Minnesota's AAA affiliate in St. Paul along the way, but ended up playing in the Mexican League for a trio of games before the Reds scooped him up.
He was an All Star with Atlanta in 2023 and is a veteran of over 1000 big league games, so he'll certainly provide a stable floor of depth across the middle infield even if the Reds are a) going nowhere this season and b) decide to slow the roll of Elly and others as the final month of the season dwindles down. That said, he owns just a career 76 OPS+, so one can hardly expect him to be lightning in a bottle for the club at this time.

August turned out to be a pretty good month for S&P 500 investors. And some stocks wound up having a great month.
If you invested $100,000 in January in the top-performing stock in the S&P 500 at the time and reinvested that in each month's top performer, including vaccine maker Moderna (MRNA) in August, you'd have $12.7 million now, says an Investor's Business Daily **** ysis of data from S&P Global Market Intelligence and MarketSurge.
That's an impressive eight-month gain of 12,600%. It's quite a feat given the S&P 500 itself is up just 12.7% so far this year. And the same $100,000 invested in the S&P 500 would be worth just $112,700 now. The S&P 500 rose 3% in August, making it the third-best month this year.
Hindsight is 20-20. And, clearly, few if any investors could have picked the top stock in each of the past eight months, as it's not a repeatable strategy. But the staggering numbers this year remind investors that amazing gains can be scooped up by diligent investors who keep buy lists handy for big leaders when the S&P 500 starts to hit highs.
In fact, the S&P 500 offered many ways to make money in August. More than 278 stocks in the index rose during August. And of those, nine stocks jumped more than 30% in just one month.

The S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) is hovering near a record high, but the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, the rising odds of an interest rate hike, and the upcoming midterm congressional elections in November could disrupt what has been an incredible (nearly) four-year bull market.
The S&P 500 is currently trading at a Shiller Cyclically Adjusted Price-to-Earnings (CAPE) ratio of 41.8, its second-highest valuation in history, behind only the dot-com bubble peak in 2000. Even if the index were to plunge into a technical bear market by suffering a 20% decline from its recent peak, it would still be expensive by historical standards.

But the broader market has always trended higher over the long term, so sell-offs can be a great opportunity for investors to scoop up bargains. One stock that could be a great buy at a discount is Corning (NYSE: GLW), which has become a key player in the global artificial intelligence (AI) data center build-out. Here's why.
Corning has been one of America's leading glass manufacturers for the last 175 years. It was the main supplier of glass for Thomas Edison's original lightbulb in 1880, and today, it makes the glass for all of Apple's iPhones. But the company's biggest opportunity currently lies in manufacturing fiber-optic connectivity solutions for data centers that accelerate processing speeds for AI workloads.

As we approach the end of 2026, the S&P 500 index is hovering near an all-time high. However, there are still some attractive opportunities on the table, even in the red-hot artificial intelligence (AI) ***** e.

Sandisk (NASDAQ: SNDK) has taken investors on a ride in 2026. It's still the best-performing component of the S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) this year, but lost a significant amount of value since its highs in late June.
Sandisk is down around 35% since then, but is this a screaming bargain that investors should scoop up in September, or is this stock better left alone?

Let's take a look at some trends and see if Sandisk's sell-off occurred for a good reason or if now is the time to strike.
Sandisk makes NAND memory, which is often used for long-term information storage. There is currently a huge memory chip shortage, mainly because the AI data center buildout has consumed all available capacity. There isn't much that separates one memory chip producer from another, so the entire market is fairly commoditized. Commoditized products follow economic theory very closely, and this dictates that as supply is low and demand is high, prices soar.

The Kansas City Chiefs will face the toughest opponent on their 2026 preseason schedule when they take on the Seattle Seahawks at Arrowhead Stadium this evening.
Fresh off a victory in Super Bowl LX, the Seahawks are among the NFL's best teams and should prove to be a formidable opponent for the Chiefs to face in Kansas City's preseason finale.
This week, Chiefs Wire sat down with Kole Musgrove of Seahawks Wire to get the inside scoop on Seattle ahead of today's game.
Take a look at Musgrove's answers to our top questions:
"I'm not sure if "improved" is the right word here… I prefer 'maintained.' Yes, Seattle lost their Super Bowl MVP (as y'all are aware!), but they managed to keep so many core, foundational pieces of their roster. Guys like Rashid Shaheed, Derick Hall, and keeping DeMarcus Lawrence around for his final season in 2026. Yes, stars get you over the championship hump, but an incredibly deep roster of quality players is what gets you to compete for the Lombardi. Seattle also managed to flawlessly draft the immediate replacements for Kenneth Walker, Riq Woolen, and Coby Bryant… although with Bud Clark out, they have a new pressing need at safety. The Seahawks are bringing back their offensive and defensive lines intact, their top four pass catchers, and most of their coaching staff with the exception of Klint Kubiak. Seattle is as geared up as any Super Bowl champion I can think of to be able to repeat."

When the Arizona Cardinals waived Trey Benson with an injury designation on Monday, Aug. 24, it earned them unwanted admission into a dubious club.
Twenty-eight months after they entered the NFL, 96 of the first 100 picks in the 2024 draft remain on active rosters. Benson, now, is among the four castaways — until and unless he gets scooped up elsewhere.
The three others: Ja'Lynn Polk, a second-round wide receiver who finished his rookie season with 12 catches and missed all of his second season with injuries before retiring; Jermaine Burton, a third-round wide receiver who developed a habit of missing practices and was involved in a domestic dispute; and Terrion Arnold, who currently faces the possibility of life in prison on kidnapping and robbery charges.
That is the company Benson currently holds. But most concerningly, he's not alone. For the Cardinals, this may just be the beginning of a week-long purge of former top draft picks.
In that same 2024 draft, the Cardinals selected cornerback Elijah Jones with the 90th pick. They seem to have five roster locks at cornerback, meaning Jones could be competing with Starling Thomas V for one roster spot. If that's the case, Thomas would seem to have the inside edge, despite a poor preseason. He was a reliable contributor in 2024 — something Jones has never been — and may need more time to return to full strength after a torn ACL last July.
