Whirlpool already cut its dividend 49% then skipped a payment entirely, while KHC's yield is inflated by a 55% decade-long price collapse with frozen payouts since 2019.
IEP's 29% yield masks two prior cuts and a 68% cash drop year over year, while UPS's quarterly operating cash flow fell $469 million short of its dividend payout.
A collapsing share price mechanically inflates yield, making high-yield stocks look attractive precisely when the underlying business is deteriorating most.
Just released. Our ******* ysts combed the entire stock market and named the ten best stocks to buy right now, and Kraft Heinz didn't make the cut. Enter your email to see the names that beat KHC. The report is free. Enter your email and see if any of your stocks made the cut.
Yield is a promise, not a payment. When a stock advertises a payout that looks two or three times the market average, it usually means the market has already decided something is wrong. The screen below flags six US-listed names where the numbers behind the yield show real strain: shrinking cash flow, stretched coverage, or a share price that collapsed and inflated the yield mechanically. None of these companies has announced a cut. Each has warning signs a retirement-focused reader should understand before buying the yield.

During the September 11 episode of Mad Money, a caller asked whether to buy, sell, or hold shares of The Kraft Heinz Company (NYSE:KHC). Jim Cramer replied:
No, I don't want you to do that… And I'll tell you why. Because it's not that I believe in the greater man theory, but this Steve Cahillane, who's the CEO, he saved Kellogg and made people a ton of money. He's going to do the same thing with Kraft Heinz. Let's give him a chance. Let's give him six months, okay? I think he'd appreciate that if we give him six months. He's been here for a while, and he's a… person [who] really likes to... [take] action. Don't leave it. Please don't leave Kraft Heinz.
The comments build on his June 2 view that he was willing to "take on the risk" of owning Kraft Heinz because of Cahillane's record at Kellogg. At the time, however, Cramer said he had "not all that much faith in Kraft or Heinz after previous management gutted the company."
The Kraft Heinz Company's (NYSE:KHC) second-quarter results show why the turnaround remains unfinished. Net sales fell 1.4% year over year to $6.26 billion, while organic net sales declined 1.3%. Adjusted operating income fell 18.4% to $1 billion, while North American sales declined 2.7%. Management raised its 2026 organic net-sales outlook to a decline of 0.5% to 2%, from the previous range of a 1.5% to 3.5% decline. It also increased incremental investment by $100 million to approximately $700 million in 2026, with the company targeting a return to volume-led, sustainable and profitable growth.
On September 2, Kraft Heinz said it will hold an Investor Day on November 12 to present its long-term strategy for "sustainable volume-led and profitable growth." Cahillane said, "Our brand investments are gaining traction and driving improved performance."

The Campbell's Company (NASDAQ:CPB), a branded packaged foods provider, closed at $22.13, down 6.96%. Thursday's sell-off followed weaker fiscal fourth-quarter profitability, a sales miss, and a dividend reduction.
Trading volume reached 37.4 million shares, coming in about 343% above its three-month average of 8.4 million shares.
The S&P 500 (SNPINDEX:^GSPC) rose 1.07% to 7,748, and the Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX:^IXIC) gained 1.40% to 26,584. Among packaged-food rivals, Kraft Heinz (NASDAQ:KHC) closed at $25.42, down 3.20%, while General Mills (NYSE:GIS) ended at $39.26, down 3.25%, underscoring pressure across packaged foods and meats, as well as branded shelf-stable foods and beverages.
Income investors already owning the stock will be disappointed with what they heard from Campbell's today. A 36% dividend cut was announced as part of a plan for the food company to shore up its balance sheet amid inflationary pressures and dropping sales. The company is also implementing a new $500 million cost-savings plan through 2030.
The new $0.25 quarterly dividend still provides a relatively high annual yield of 4.5%, making shares a potential buy for those seeking income. That doesn't help existing shareholders, though, who now face a lower dividend payment on top of a 20% year-to-date decline in the shares.
If the company's turnaround plan is successful, though, new money in the stock with many popular brands could prove to beat the market over the long term.

From ketchup and cheese to sauces and other household food staples, Kraft Heinz Company (KHC) has built a portfolio that has become a familiar name in kitchens worldwide. Now, the food giant is making a small but notable change on Wall Street, and KHC stock investors may want to mark their calendars. No, it is not about a new product hitting grocery shelves. This time, the change is happening on Wall Street.
Kraft Heinz is moving its stock listing from the Nasdaq ($NASX) to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Monday, Sept. 14. The company has traded on the Nasdaq since 2015, following the merger of Kraft Foods and H.J. Heinz. The food giant has called the NYSE its "natural home" as it moves into what CEO Steve Cahillane describes as its next chapter.

The latest 13F filings show that Bill Gates' foundation trust and Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway, now run by Greg Abel, had one stock in common in their portfolios as of the end of the second quarter: Kraft Heinz (NASDAQ:KHC). Berkshire held a big position that made up 2.6% of its book. The Gates Foundation stake in KHC was worth about $58.4 million.
So what's so special about this stock?
Steve Cahillane took over as Kraft Heinz CEO earlier this year to take up the job of turning around the company. The plan is showing signs of progress. Full-year organic sales guidance improved to a decline of 0.5% to 2%, up from a prior forecast of a decline of 1.5% to 3.5%. In the recent quarter, free cash flow rose 10% year over year, and the company raised its free cash flow conversion guidance to approximately 110% from 100%.
Berkshire Sticks Around
Berkshire Hathaway remaining the company's largest shareholder counts as a major vote of confidence. Some ******* ysts have pointed out that Kraft Heinz could become a takeover target for Berkshire or another large food company looking to add scale and cash flow through an accretive deal.

CHILLICOTHE, Ill. (WMBD/WYZZ) -- The new coach at IVC is very familiar with central Illinois football.
Cameron Bailliez, a 2016 Pekin High School grad, is the new coach of the Grey Ghosts. He comes back to central Illinois after coaching six years in North Carolina.
Bailliez succeeds Tim Heinz, who retired after 21 years at IVC and a school record 99 career wins. Heinz guided IVC to 10 playoff appearances, the most recent in 2019.
"On offense, we will be more position-less. You'll see guys shift in motion all over the place. We'll see a guy playing tight end now might be a receiver. He might be a running back, he'll be all over the place," said Bailliez.
The players seem to like the new playbook.

In one of the most insane streaks in all of sports, Bayern Munich will — once again — be watching the World Cup semifinals and waiting to see if the club’s crazy streak of having at least one player in every World Cup final since 1982 will continue.
With Michael Olise and Dayot Upamecano representing France and Harry Kane as part of England’s team, the Bavarians probably feel pretty good about their chances.
France will play Spain later today, while England takes on Argentina on Wednesday. iMiaSanMia compiled the participation data:
Bayern have always had at least one player in every World Cup final since 1982:

At some point, investors need to call a spade a spade, which brings us to pet e-commerce specialist Chewy (CHWY). Fundamentally, the appeal of the business is rather obvious: Americans love their four-legged friends. They also love convenience, as evidenced by the rise of Amazon (AMZN). Combine these two elements together and you should have a strong bullish case for CHWY stock.
Unfortunately, that narrative has simply not panned out. Shares are down nearly 44% on a year-to-date basis, leading the Barchart Technical Opinion indicator to downgrade CHWY stock as a 100% Strong Sell. With this kind of negative performance, it's difficult not to view Chewy as a falling knife.

Real Madrid are exploring a deal structure for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise (23) that would combine a cash offer of between €100m and €130m with the inclusion of either Aurélien Tchouaméni or Eduardo Camavinga, according to Defensa Central. The proposal would not be framed as a direct player swap but as two separate operations, with the total package approaching €200m in either scenario.
As previously covered on Football Espana, Florentino Pérez has been willing to commit over €200m to land Olise, and the latest reported structure represents an attempt to make that ambition workable in practice rather than simply throwing a single enormous cash bid at a club that has already said no.
The two variants of the plan hinge on which midfielder Los Blancos include. If Tchouaméni is the player offered, Madrid would value him at around €100m and pair that with a €100m cash payment for Olise – a combined package of roughly €200m. If Camavinga is included instead, Madrid would place his value at approximately €70m and increase the cash portion to €130m, arriving at a broadly equivalent total.
Structuring the deal as two separate operations, rather than one swap, is significant: it allows both clubs to book transfer income and expenditure independently, which has implications for how each accounts for the movement under their respective financial rules. It also gives Bayern the option to decline the midfielder without that decision collapsing the Olise negotiation entirely – though in practice, the two transactions are clearly linked.
Bayern’s public stance has been unambiguous and consistent. Club president Herbert Hainer stated directly that if Pérez wanted to make an offer, “he can save himself the trouble,” adding that Bayern are not a selling club. Board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge described Olise as “unsellable” – language that goes beyond standard negotiating posture and signals a genuine institutional reluctance rather than an inflated asking price waiting to be met.

Heinz found a very World Cup way to turn FIFA’s strict sponsor rules into free attention.
The joke started with one of the strangest sights of the 2026 tournament: condiment bottles inside stadium areas having their labels covered with tape.
For FIFA, it was brand protection. For Heinz, it became a marketing opening.
A Front Office Sports post said FIFA taped over condiment bottles at the World Cup to cover non-sponsor logos, so Heinz made its own version of ketchup that fits the rules.
The policy is known as a clean-stadium or clean-site rule. It requires World Cup venues to remove, cover or rename non-FIFA sponsor branding so official partners get exclusive visibility inside the stadium footprint.

According to a report from Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg (as captured by iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich’s negotiations for Kennet Eichhorn were formally killed off when the player’s camp asked for a signing bonus.
The amount of the bonus was rumored to be €10 million. Supervisory board members Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Uli Hoeneß were the officials who formally forced Bayern Munich’s exit from the contract talks, per Plettenberg:
From a sporting perspective, everyone at Bayern would like to sign Kennet Eichhorn. But when it comes to the signing fee, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Uli Hoeneß vetoed the move and said: ‘no, we won’t do it’ – Liverpool are in pole position to sign Eichhorn at the moment [Plettigoal]
While this information could have been likely ascertained from other reports, Plettenberg specifically named Rummenigge and Hoeneß as the drivers behind the decision. Rummenigge and Hoeneß have come under fire from some fans because of their perceived lack of flexibility to evolving with the financial world of today’s game.
Bayern Munich’s exit from the race has opened the door for Liverpool FC to secure a deal for Eichhorn, with Borussia Dortmund as a contender as well.
