Dirk Nowitzki: Nellie… You didn't just draft me. You believed in me. You saw things in my game before I ever realized I could do them. I've said it a million times and I will always say it: I don't think my career could have turned out how it did without you being my first coach and giving me the freedom to play my game. I can only say THANK YOU. For everything. RIP legend.

That one weakness is his three-point shooting has now been put into historical context, and the numbers suggest fans have little reason to worry.
The comparison first circulated this offseason, breaking down Flagg's 29.5 percent mark from three against several Hall of Fame rookie seasons.
Flagg shot 29.5 percent from deep on 244 attempts as a rookie, a mark that topped LeBron James' 29.0 percent and Kevin Durant's 28.8 percent in their own first seasons. Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki has downplayed any concerns about the number since before the season even ended.

Entries from early 2020 in a now-exposed personal diary kept by Dr. Anthony Fauci during the COVID-19 pandemic show that he privately estimated the death rate from the illness was significantly lower than what he told Congress under oath only weeks later.
Fauci, 85, has come under intense scrutiny for years regarding his approach leading the U.S. response to the coronavirus pandemic, and his alleged links to the Chinese lab where the virus originated. He will return to Capitol Hill on Wednesday before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee to speak about his newly publicized personal records.
"The stated mortality over all of this when you look at all the data including China is about three percent. It first started off as two and three," Fauci said in testimony before the House Oversight Committee on March 11, 2020, according to a transcript of the hearing.
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci prepares to testify before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee about the ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Dirksen Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill on November 4, 2021, in Washington, D.C. Senators questioned Fauci and other witnesses about the approval of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine for children between 5 and 11 years old this week.

The Detroit Tigers continued to show just the slightest signs of life on Monday night as they notched a 5-3 victory over the New York Yankees to move within 10 games of .500. Every contest is essentially a must-win for the club if they want to get back in the American League Central race. Perhaps more importantly, they can only sustain a certain number of losses before the trade deadline until there's no choice but to deal Tarik Skubal.
Meanwhile the Yankees stayed atop the AL East despite the setback and are significantly less stressed. For proof, let's check in on Jazz Chisholm Jr. The second baseman made history by becoming the first player to play an MLB game with a lollipop in his mouth in Detroit, but that wasn't even the most entertaining moment he provided.
That came during the bottom of the fourth inning when he happened to notice a camera embedded in the infield dirt and stopped the game so he could get to the bottom of it. What resulted was pure cinema with the Tigers broadcast team of Jason Benetti and Andy Dirks providing some wonderful commentary from the perspective of the dirt cam.
The dirt cam has been doing the work of providing some awesome camera shots all year and this is the first time a player noticed it out on the playing field. It's perfectly understandable that Chisholm would prefer to play his position without concern a ball is going to take a wicked hop after some fancy hidden equipment. He also seemed to be having a good time with the whole thing, which one would suspect from the guy who ate a lollipop on the field.
Credit to Benetti and Dirks for getting into character and turning the delay funny.

Monday night’s game between the Detroit Tigers and the New York Yankees encountered an unusual delay in the bottom of the fourth inning, and Tigers announcers Jason Benetti and Andy Dirks made the most of it.
The Yankees, led by second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr., noticed a dirt cam sticking up out of the ground in the infield.
As Chisholm and company stepped on and kicked the dirt cam, the always entertaining Benetti and Dirks offered commentary from the perspective of the helpless dirt cam on the Detroit SportsNet broadcast.

Prosper Stars & Stripes stated the following regarding York ***** e Systems, Inc. (NYSE:YSS) in its Q1 2026 investor letter:
"York ***** e Systems, Inc. (NYSE:YSS) was the largest detractor in our long book in the quarter. The company is a ***** e and defense prime contractor, with hardware and software capabilities that enable it to meet a wide range of mission requirements. Its offering is the satellite "bus," the functional backbone of any ***** ecraft which integrates the power, altitude & orbit control, thermal control, telemetry, tracking & command, and structural integrity which is then coupled with the satellite payload. York is founder led, with its CEO Dirk Wallinger, seasoned with experience at Orbital Sciences, General Dynamics, and Lockheed Martin. York currently has 33 satellites in orbit, with more than 100 additional units expected to be delivered over the next 21 months, providing strong revenue visibility. ***** e remains a major focus area for the U.S. Department of War, particularly through initiatives such as the ***** e Development Agency, which is targeting a proliferated constellation of roughly 1,000 satellites in low Earth orbit by the end of 2026. Despite these favorable fundamentals, the January IPO traded below its offering price, triggering technical selling in a temporarily soft aerospace and defense market. Following its first earnings report as a public company, the stock recovered. However, we exited our position as the visibility into funding and competition became more difficult to confidently discern."
