Cassie Ventura and her husband, Alex Fine, made a rare public appearance together in London. The couple attended the MobLand season two premiere on September 10. Their appearance came after Ventura largely stayed away from the spotlight.
Cassie Ventura and Alex Fine stepped onto the red carpet at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square. Fine plays Donnie on MobLand, making the premiere a notable outing for the couple.
Ventura wore a structured gray peplum dress with a bustier top for the event. Her husband wore a black knit sweater and matching trousers. The couple appeared elegant while posing together at the London premiere.
The pair have remained mostly private since Ventura testified against Diddy in May 2025. The high-profile trial placed Ventura back into the public spotlight after years away from it.
Ventura has also moved outside the United States following the trial. "I reside outside of the United States," she said in a legal document obtained by E! News. She also stated, "I do not intend to move back to the United States."

Alex wore Saint Laurent Fall 2026, taking the cropped cable-knit sweater from the runway and giving it a much cleaner spin with wide-leg black trousers. I've been enjoying the collection's striped pieces on the red carpet, but I like that Alex didn't recreate the runway styling. The all-black palette puts the focus on the proportions, which is what makes this work for me.
Cassie opted for a Magda Butrym wool corset dress, and this is easily my favourite part of their couple's style moment. The precise darting and padded hips create that exaggerated hourglass silhouette the designer does so well, and you know I love a well-executed exaggerated silhouette.
The dress is so good that the shoes frustrate me even more. The bronze pointed-toe pumps with criss-cross ankle straps feel disconnected from the modernity of the silhouette. A pewter strappy sandal or mule would have been a much stronger finish and allowed the dress to have the final word.

San Diego native Maddie Mercado scored the game-winning goal in the 29th minute as Seattle Reign FC defeated San Diego Wave FC 1-0 at Lumen Field on Sunday evening. The 25-year-old forward has now scored in both matches against her hometown team this season.
Mercado has continued her breakout season for Seattle, leading the team with eight goals. Claudia ****** ey had a standout performance between the posts, logging six saves and securing a clean sheet before leaving the match late due to an injury. Reign backup goalkeeper Cassie Miller replaced ****** ey late in the match.
Since returning from the summer break, Seattle remains unbeaten at home and has entered the playoff picture with this result. They handed San Diego its first loss since early August, snapping its two-game win streak. Wave FC is now tied for third place in the standings alongside the NC Courage and Utah Royals, with 39 points.
San Diego played with 10 players for most of the match after rookie defender Mimi Van Zanten made a questionable challenge during a Seattle transition play. Van Zanten and Kennedy Wesley were the last line of defense, and Van Zanten tripped Maddie Dahlien far away from the net.
After further review, the referee deemed the play a denial of an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and gave her a red card in the 13th minute. Wave head coach Jonas Eidevall looked to his bench for defensive help, subbing on Brooklyn Courtnall for skilled forward Melanie Barcenas.

Dolly Parton's team broke their silence on what led to the country legend's death at 80. Her representatives shared details about her final days and the diagnosis she faced before passing on Tuesday, Aug. 25.
Dolly Parton's representatives told PEOPLE that the iconic country singer died following a "brief battle with cancer" at 80 on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Her team chose not to reveal the specific cancer type. She spent her final days at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville after being admitted on Friday, Aug. 21.
Her nephew Bryan Seaver shared the news through an Instagram video that same day. He identified himself as "son of Cassie Parton" and stated he was "representing the Parton and Owens family." Seaver described the announcement as "something Dolly asked of me years ago, before I fully absorbed it as a future reality."
Seaver spoke about his deep connection to his aunt during the video. "As her head of security for more than two decades, a role my father Larry held before me, I have imagined the heaviness of this moment but haven't truly felt it until now," he shared. He expressed that "Dolly has lived in the light and is in the arms of Jesus, surely met by Carl, her parents and countless others."
Parton had spoken about her health just four days before dying. "I am dealing with some health issues that I just didn't pay attention to when I was watching over Carl," she told PEOPLE. She recalled earlier battles, saying she "was down for several months with female issues" during the early 1980s.

Ben Johnson surprisingly claims one Bears WR can equal Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Chicago Bears are trying to fast-track their way into being Super Bowl contenders. Coach Ben Johnson knows that Caleb Williams and the rest of the squad have a great foundation already despite their NFL Divisional Round loss to the Los Angeles Rams. To reach that point of ******* le contention, someone has to take a superstar leap aside from the quarterback. It looks like Luther Burden is taking up that challenge.
Coach Johnson even believes that Burden is capable of equaling Detroit Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown in the 2026 NFL season.
Luther Burden is a great wide receiver. The Bears selected him with the 39th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and his numbers are fairly solid. Coach Ben Johnson thinks he is capable of more. He believes that the second-year offensive weapon will make a big leap to help Caleb Williams and the rest of the Bears go on a rampage. More than that, he also claims Burden can equal Detroit Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown in terms of mentality and impact.
Why is that the case? Coach Johnson outlined that it's Burden's mentality that sets him apart from other wide receivers, via Cassie Carlson of FOX 32.

Sydney Sweeney took to social media to share a photo dump from her recent trip to Australia. The post included snaps of exciting experiences and a few loved-up images with her beau, Scooter Braun. The couple has been romantically linked since they were spotted together in Italy last year following Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding.
Sweeney shared a carousel of pictures from her trip to Australia on Instagram. It ranged from thrilling activities, adorable moments with Braun, to indulging in a beach experience. In the images she shared, the Euphoria actress was seen doing indoor rock climbing, a tree-to-tree crossing activity, scuba diving, competing in dashing cars, playing UNO Mercy, and soaking up sun in a bikini.
Among her various moments with Braun in the pictures, some included a dinner-date photo, them doing the famous ****** anic pose, standing by a helicopter, kissing on a plane, doing a tricky stunt, and much more. The caption of the post read, "a little aussie dump."
Last month, Sweeney also celebrated Braun's birthday by throwing him a party. It was attended by A-list celebrities including Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, according to Page Six. Sharing more details on the birthday bash, an insider told the outlet, "She had a basketball hoop set up. Warren G performed 'Regulate,' Scooter's favorite."
This photo update also comes a few months after Braun publicly spoke about his love life. However, he didn't mention Sweeney's name. Braun said to Variety, "I've met an extraordinary woman, kind and generous and smart, and real and down to earth — and one of the biggest surprises ever." He was also asked whether he had been keeping up with Euphoria Season 3, which received backlash for Sweeney's Cassie Howard's storyline. He said, "I am catching it. I'm biased; I like it. I think there's been an incredible performance by a certain actress."

It's time to reread those worn copies of "The Fault in Our Stars" and "Looking for Alaska" – John Green is coming back to fiction.
The bestselling author's most popular books evoke the teen yearning and Tumblr quotability of the 2010s golden era of young adult literature (which included "GreenLit," as The New York Times put it), but he's venturing into adult territory now.
"Hollywood, Ending" is Green's first novel in almost 10 years, and his first written for adults. The story follows two young actors who get their big break in an Andy Warhol biopic, now forced to navigate their newfound celebrity, loss of privacy and new love.
USA TODAY is exclusively revealing the cover of "Hollywood, Ending," which publishes Sept. 22 from Dutton Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House.
In a statement to USA TODAY, Green praised Penguin Random House's Cassie Vu, the designer behind eye-catching covers like "Into the Blue" by Emma Brodie, "Romantic Comedy" by Curtis Sittenfeld and "The Loneliness of Sonia and Sunny" by Kiran Desai.

Sydney Sweeney is known for making waves thanks to her character Cassie on Euphoria. She's also known for making splashes with unique LBDs and more on the red carpet, and for diving in and producing her own work, sometimes to great box office success. But you might be surprised to learn that in her downtime she's a sporty girl who enjoys working on her vintage Bronco. At least, her Euphoria co-stars were surprised to find this out.
Sweeney was promoting her series "Syd's garage" when she made the Euphoria-related confession. She said she used to work on her vintage cars all weekend in between filming shoots and sometimes would even bring those vehicles with her to the HBO set when she had downtime. She told ET her co-stars were very surprised to find out this fact about her:
If people know about it, they ask, 'You know how to work on a car?' After Euphoria, if I wrapped on a day or had a day off, I'd go to the garage and work on my Bronco. And when I would come to work the next day, they'd be like, 'What'd you do?' And I'd say, 'Oh, I went to the garage.' And they were just so confused. And I would drive my cars to set and I would work on them in basecamp. They'd be like, 'What is Sydney doing?'
Driving has always been a big part of her life. She's a heavy thumbs up on any vehicle she can drive manually, even if it's a "workout" on the LA freeways. One of her childhood friends' dads, Rod Emory, set her up with an official garage to work in, and the rest has been history. Though, she doesn't get her 1969 Bronco out as much as she'd like, even after switching her car from the original manual to automatic in order to handle the traffic challenges.

Cassie Ventura's legal fight with former male escort Clayton Howard has taken another turn, this time through someone from Howard's own past.
According to TMZ, an ex-girlfriend of Howard contacted Cassie's team and offered information as the singer fights to dismiss his federal lawsuit. Howard is suing Cassie and Sean "Diddy" Combs, alleging that they hired him for ***** ual encounters tied to the "freak offs" that became central to Combs' criminal case.
The new development does not decide the case, and none of Howard's claims against Cassie has been proven in court. It does, however, give Cassie's lawyers another piece of information as they argue that Howard's lawsuit should be thrown out.
TMZ reported that Francyna Evins, described as Howard's ex-girlfriend, contacted Cassie's team after hearing about his lawsuit. A source connected to the situation told the outlet that Evins offered information about Howard and his litigation history.
Evins has reportedly been involved in her own court dispute with Howard. According to TMZ, she told Cassie's team that Howard had a history of filing lawsuits she described as meritless.

Cassie, the ex-girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs, revealed she has left the United States following her bombshell lawsuit.
The singer, 39, filed a court declaration on Monday, June 1, according to TMZ, in her lawsuit against male escort Clayton Howard. In her filing, Cassie stated, “I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States.”
While it’s unclear where the “Me & U” artist has relocated to, Cassie also claimed it is more convenient for her to attend court hearings in New York rather than California, TMZ reported.
The move comes after she settled her ******* ual ******* ault and human trafficking lawsuit against the Bad Boy Records founder. The former couple’s settlement saw Combs, 56, pay his ex $20 million in November 2023, just one day after she filed her lawsuit.
“Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing,” his lawyer said in a statement to TMZ at the time. “Mr. Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”
